me: I'm so tired of the hades and persephone retellings, it's become more of a trope than anything at this point and the market is so oversaturated with these "hades and persephone but-" stories that don't even honor the original myth in the slightest

also me when I see people doing the story with disney hades: WOOOOOO!!!! 👏👏👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 GET IT!!!

#it has a certain je ne sais pas...#I also find it really interesting to see everyone's takes on perse since she isn't a (big) part of the show or movie #the redesigns are always *chef's kiss* and the personality and development are SO good every time #plus with the really distinct personality disney!hades has it actually gives the story some unique elements... I like that
