Watching the new Yes 5 Precure this season, and I know there's a ton of thoughts and opinions about them reusing the same transformation sequence from the original show and I could pretend to have a deeper reason for not liking it but I don't! Yes 5 just had some of my least favorite designs and transformations in series so I wasn't really excited to see them make a return! :'D

#the transformation sequences are my favorite part of these kinds of shows so I was really looking forward to a new one #even if I really liked the old transformations I would have been disappointed #I also am kinda disappointed that they're just de-aging the characters when they transform #instead of them getting to just be adult precures #but I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt that it's going to be thematically relevant #bored badgering #Yes 5's aren't my least favorite in the whole franchise or anything but they are down there #I think overall least favorite in terms of character design and transformation is doki doki #then yes 5 and then probably fresh
