I think the reason why Rambley hates Lloyd is very simple tbh

It's not just jealously, is the fact that they clearly give Lloyd way much attention than any of the other characters Like Rambley gets a big amound of merchandise of course, but in his case he's the main MASCOT, it would be like complaining that Mickey has more merchandise than Donald or Goofy, in his case it makes sense But then we have the fact that apparently don't give the other 4 mascots the same attention, Finley and Mollie don't get the same stuff Lloyd does from part of the park staff, Lloyd gets almost the same attention as Rambley and it's not fair in his eyes because why Lloyd? Why not the other two? He doesn't just question why he doesn't have a limited version Plushie like Lloyd that is ACTUALLY a new plush and not a golden spry version of his, but also question why Mollie and Finley don't get one, and Salem? They get zero, and while they're the villain and all they clearly were important as well, they had their own part on the ride and appeared on the arcade game, yet zero merchandise found

Sentient Rambley sees it as unfair that they all don't get the same attention and that Lloyd is used much more than his friends, so he lashes out on him for that It's also a funny contrast giving that MC favorite mascot was Lloyd And also I think in the in-universe canon lore they get along a lot more, it's probably just sentient Rambley

Since nobody is asking for it (but also I've seen a lot of negativity and that makes me sad) here's my reaction to the s3 teaser. I'll preface it by saying the art style doesnt bother me, it kind of looks more similar to the Casa Amor designs than the main s2 cast. If the writing is up to the same standard as s1, I'll be happy.

Twink. I know this man has to at least be bi because every character needs to be romancable, but that is a twink who works in finance or some shit. He's cute, but his charm could be better 8/10

Means nothing, I think. Merlin probably spoke what Arthur was thinking, or it was just so unexpected that Arthur could only reply with a chuckle, basically saying “Did you really just say that?” with a quirked eyebrow, raised in disbelief.

I mean, how many people do you think could openly say something “negative” about a knight? Not a knight, that’s for sure, let alone a servant, a peasant. And Arthur is still trying to adjust to having this… This curious thing as his personal servant, just as much as Merlin is trying to get adjusted to being pressed under a boot for the first time in his life.

And I think, judging by their conversation that I will mention later, that they both feel something similar for each other.

And it’s all only happening because Merlin realizes that Arthur gets extremely nervous before every fight.

That is someone who is stressed. Very much. On the brink of breaking down.

Merlin can’t address that, and he doesn’t. He just does these little gestures in hopes that Arthur will just take a deep breath when he remembers them and focuses on the fight with a calm mind.

And that’s just… That’s just so sweet.

Merlin was handling Arthur’s stress before the pratty prince even realized he was stressed.

This is the convo I was referencing earlier. Just the fact that Arthur doesn’t deny the obvious proof Merlin has with him, but still is in denial because a knight using magic is unheard of, and just impossible in his mind, since knights are… valiant, but then Arthur asks Merlin to swear, like an equal to him knight would, to prove that they are not lying, he thinks of Merlin as honorable enough to understand the importance of swearing, even though he probably wouldn’t expect any other servant to. From the second episode Merlin is different from others in Arthur’s eyes.

And that’s not even taking into account the implications of this scene. Merlin comes to Arthur because he trusts that Arthur won’t dismiss him and throw him into the dungeons for badmouthing a knight, and will hear him out before giving a final verdict. None of the other knights would have even listened to him beyond “Valiant is using magic!”, they would have shut him down then and there. Arthur is different from others in Merlin’s eyes.

It’s episode 2 guys. It’s episode 2 and already we have scene like this!

How the hell can it go up from here?

I think Arthur’s talking about his armor.

Like… Yeah, it actually is quite important. If the armor’s not tightened properly, or it’s rusty, or if it’s not fixed/cleaned since the last day, then it’s a pretty big deal in a fight. It can cost one’s life, and Arthur’s putting his in Merlin’s hands with all of his duties.

This is why this episode breaks my heart – because Arthur truly had no reason to distrust Merlin or not believe what he’s saying, and Merlin had no reason not to share what’s going on with Arthur when they’re going on a dangerous journey. After this whole mess Arthur is far more dismissive of what Merlin says, especially since the boy doesn’t have nearly as much proof as he had this time. Yes, Valiant did prove to be using magic, and what Merlin said did come true, but I think Merlin himself is less keen on sharing his suspicions with Arthur or anyone else other than Gaius, if not to avoid this whole emotional mess, then to avoid the difficulty of explaining how he knows things and their legitimacy. No more just… walking up to Arthur and saying what’s happening, no more Arthur believing him.

It’s just… agh.

First time was right after that god-awful court session, the second after Arthur sadly admits that he can’t withdraw, and he must die before he disappoints his father.

I don’t think he is. I think he’s just repeating what Uther has ingrained into him – to only care about himself, and his own accomplishments, to never take the help of other people, because he doesn’t need other people, he alone can and will take on the world.

That’s not talk of someone who’s ashamed of being saved by a girl, but someone who thinks that they were capable of doing whatever it is by themselves. And because they didn’t, it turns to denying facts and just propping themselves up, focusing on what they did rather than what the their helper did.

He will never know that it wasn’t just Morgana who saved him that day, but also Merlin, Gaius too and even Gwen, but acknowledging that getting help from other people is a thing he did and understanding that without them he would be nothing is something he still struggles with until season 4 and a bit beyond, so let’s just…

Let’s just hate Uther for making Arthur so hard to deal with in the beginning.

And let’s praise the people around him for having the patience to live with him and the gall to call him out on his bullshit from time to time. Those people deserve a holiday, several of them.

At first Shiloh didn’t expect you to have similar tendencies as he does. They say it takes one to know one but if that was so easy in this case you wouldn’t really be doing a great job at it now would you?

Shiloh would view you as a social floater who got along a little bit with everyone. He’s seen you sitting with Toni and then Guang, be with a group of people at the arcade just to see you with people with an entirely different vibe to them the next day. Your natural charisma wouldn’t take long for him to notice.

Since you managed to get yourself put in a group besides the jerk squad he’d have to start getting your attention with more smaller gestures at first. You’ll see him come to you a few times to talk about assignments. He’d say that you’re so smart and it’s honestly kind of embarrassing but he’s been struggling so.. can you help him? 

Great, you agreed to help him! You’re the best. It’ll be a slow burn but eventually Shiloh would’ve approached you enough times to where it’s just natural for the two of you to share a part of time each day with each other. You’d find him intriguing, Shiloh Fields was a guy known to be taken for interpretation by most.

Perhaps the thought of you having to keep yourself on your toes around him is why you became so attracted to him. If someone else caught you red handed in your act you could easily make up a lie like you wanting to please someone else and not having the courage to not follow through or you haven’t felt like yourself lately and you don’t know what’s gotten into you.

That tactic wouldn’t work with Shiloh. If you screw up when it comes to that guy that’s it. You’re done for. Isn’t that incredible? The thrill he gives you is accelerating. So one day when the two of you were walking back to campus you happen to walk past Jeremy being uncharacteristically mad over something you couldn’t quite put your finger on. You’d chuckle and say “ Well isn’t this a throwback to the past?”.

Shiloh would raise an eyebrow and say, “huh?” and since you’ve already decided that the freckled cutie was worthwhile you’d tell him the truth. You happened to see Jb from across the street so you decided to follow her all the way through whatever location she might be heading at. That place being the museum, no other than that but Jeremy was there waiting for her. When they were there they had a conversation on how Jeremy was as a child. He was angry, very angry.

Haha, it probably wasn’t the smartest move to tell the snitch of your stalker actions. But you didn’t care, you even joked about it to him.

“Hmm, I think that’s alright”, he’d give you smile. “ I’m sure you had a good reason for doing that. You’re so amazing Y/N, you didn’t mean anything bad with it, I’m sure of it!”.

Really? He’s not even going to tell you how mean that was and how invading someone’s privacy isn’t right? Oh wait, of course he’d be okay with it. He’s a stalker too. 

Stop right there, Shiloh. You were already prepared for him to pull out his typical playing dumb talk, so you kept it going. 

Truth is you really easily bored. You actively seek out things that even remotely spark your interest long enough to not make you sigh expiration from the short lived excitement. That one thing that’s keep you going is to pursue this complicated tactic. 

The way it works is that you have find people at school who actively seem to be involved in drama. Then you make sure to befriend them, but take it real nice and slow. You want to gain their trust so you need to have close observation on their comfort level. Meanwhile when you finally do learn something, especially if it’s ‘intriguing’ information on another person then what you do is slowly drift away from those people and interact with that person instead. Attempting to talk to everyone without upsetting at least one person is quite difficult, so you make sure to be distant just enough for people to not view you as a member in any type of group. But just approachable enough for most people to view you as a friendly individual. All of that juggling between every social interaction makes it worthwhile when all of the things you’ve heard about each and every student can get used against them. 

For example, did someone talk shit about someone in the lounge? Guess what, next day that person suddenly knows cause’ ‘someone’ asked if the rumor of people talking bad about them was true. And since high schoolers can’t help but naturally seek out conflict without considering the bigger picture, false claims of the person who talked shit in the first place would start to stir. Little by little, here and there, you discreetly plant small catalysts onto people’s heads until whatever that little thing you found out suddenly becomes a much bigger problem.

Why are you telling him all of this? Well, it’s because Shiloh’s way beyond more interesting than some typical high school drama. You’re not even sure if you’ll ever get to know every aspects of his personality but you sure as hell would like to try. 

Shiloh Fields, the person standing in front of you is willing to screw themself over and the reason is you. Aren’t you honored? Slowly you walked closer to him and wrapped your arms around the boy in a tight hug. You nuzzled your head on his shoulder and whispered,

“ but I’m not going to give you a good time Shya, I know what Lynn and your mom says about you. I can’t help it baby, I like you too much, I want to become your worst enemy. “

Releasing your arms around him, his face were less than a few inches apart from yours. “ I’m tired of the build up, let’s skip the extra steps. Be my tool, I’ll be yours”.

Oh my god you’re really gonna force me to expose my personal preferences….jeez, okay. Well I’m gonna do it this way; I’ll rank them in order of physical attractiveness (imo), but I’ll also rate their attire and charm (which are very important to their overall attractiveness). Bear in mind though that how attractive I deem the character doesn’t necessarily place them as the character I am most drawn to....if that makes sense.

With these calculations I have not factored in either the character’s personality or my preference towards the characters in question; this is as superficial as it gets lmao

Kenzo Tenma

Appearance: 10/10, he’s either handsome or cute it’s impossible to lose here. Also sports the second most perfect smile and the kindest eyes.

Attire: 6/10; honestly without Eva he really doesn’t know what to do with himself and the rest of the time he’s on the run so he looks like a hobo. Looks cute as a doctor though so there’s that

Charm: 10/10, his smiles and kind voice are entirely perfect and he can act like a badass when necessary. Got the whole deal here

Total: 26/30; no one said he has to be perfect, he still has my heart

Eva Heinemann

Appearance: 9/10…originally wasn’t too much a fan of the hairstyle but it (and she) grew on me quite strongly. Just look at that face.

Attire: 11/10 like….outshines literally everyone ever. She knows what she’s doing.

Charm: 8/10; not only can she pull off incredible confidence, she’s also able to wear a sweet sort of facade…she knows how to get to different types of people and it works dude

Martin Reest

Appearance: 9/10; mature, lightly grisled, strong jaw, decent features…he has a good ol handsome face if a little overly square.

Attire: 7/10; he had a not too shabby gangster look going even before Eva made him a fashion project. Nothing too dapper though.

Charm: 6/10; honestly kinda has a shite attitude and overall really depressed…if we got to see him with more of a sardonic sense of humour it might be higher, but he’s just too much of a downer.

Total: 22/30; definitely handsome but he needs work

Johan Liebert

Appearance: 8/10; his haircut is fluffy and nice and he has very nice eyes, but he looks kinda porcelain sometimes and idk about that

Attire: 9/10; both as himself and Anna he’s got top notch clothing choices…most of the time, there are some questionable ones.

Charm: I am obligated to say 10/10 just because in series he has the charisma to convince people to do just about anything at all. If I’m allowed to be objective though, I’d say probably 8/10.

Total: 25/30; in-universe incredibly attractive, and I guess objectively I can see it.

Jan Suk

Appearance: 8/10; he’s got that nice clean-cut cop look going and an innocent, naive face. Looks extra cute when he blushes.

Attire: 6/10; nothing that stands out really as especially great or poor.

Charm: 10/10; he’s dorky, shy and awkward and just genuinely a nice boy if a little on the dumb side. All of those together are precious tbh

Total: 24/30; he’s an average cutie and that’s why I love him

Wolfgang Grimmer

Appearance: 7/10; he has sort of a more “average” sort of charm in his looks and ngl his nose is adorable. Let us not forget that award winning smile. The one pictured is perfect.

Attire: 7/10; full on dad fashion right here and his yellow sweater is super cute

Charm: 11/10…listen his smiles cure my depression and I’m a sucker for the ‘trying to be more human and instead accidentally being really awkward’ types of characters and wow is Grimmer exactly that

Total: 25/30; his adorability alone outshines everything else

Heinrich Lunge

Appearance: 7/10, he’s kinda snakey and he has no hair but he can pull off an excellent near-villainous smirk and that’s pretty great.

Attire: 8/10, very simple but the suit and tie thing works for him.

Charm: 8/10…but not really in your conventional ‘charming’ way, more so much as the man just exudes such intense confidence it’s hard not to appreciate it.

Total: 23/30; needs more hair

Nina Fortner

Appearance: 7/10; she has a very charming and haunting look about her…but I will be honest Johan wears her look better LMAO.

Attire: 8/10; nothing that stands out incredibly, but she looks cute enough

Charm: 6/10; a little too distant…she’s perfectly fine as a character, but definitely very reserved and internalizes a lot.

Total: 21/30; pretty cute, but she should smile more!

Otto Heckel

Appearance: 6/10; the ponytail is nice but he’s tiny and there’s the teeth. No offence but bad teeth…not that attractive. He has a devilish smirk though so that makes up for it a bit

Attire: 10/10; he wears nice suits which is good and all but he wears a cravat and that’s like my ultimate fave clothing item so he wins.

Charm: 7/10; he’s just good enough a guy that the slimy crooked nature to him is more charming than bad. I also just adore Casanova wannabe types and that’s exactly what he is

Total: 23/30; a good sense of style makes up for bad teeth

Rudi Gillen

Appearance: 6/10; nothing especially stands out, but he looks respectable. Very average but that’s fine, it works for him.

Attire: 7/10; again there’s nothing that particularly sticks out here, though the tape recorder makes a nice accessory. I did kinda like the getup he had when he went into the basement of that house and found all the photos with Johan cut out…long coats and Gillen work!

Charm: 7/10; while a bit more depressive, he’s interesting to listen to and that scene when he calls out Lunge gives him a decent force of personality. There’s definitely something to find intriguing here.

Total: 20/30; more of an intellectual appeal tbh.
