god i know it's been said a million times and nobody needs reminding. but what a fucking show takeover r evolution is start to finish. it's so good and every single little detail in it makes it better. bookended with kevin owens being the baddest bitch on this earth. contains four big matches that each ramp up in intensity and offer something different, namely:

aiden english throwing simon gotch out of harm's way to take the brunt of two flying luchadores. simon gotch looking like simba after getting saved by his father from the stampede.

finn balor causing a "MARKING OUT! MARKING OUT!" chant from his demon antics.

not a match but the look that sami and kevin share in the locker room, so understated and blink and you'll miss it, but oh my god. the tension. the quiet acknowledgement, the telepathic communication in that moment.

sasha and charlotte putting on an absolutely thrilling banger filled with some of the most unique and surprising counter sequences (charlotte's moonsault attempt segueing into a senton is something!!!)

sasha also being the baddest bitch on this earth with her mocking nature boy walk (hot) followed by licking her palm to slap charlotte (HOT)

also sasha being adorable and weirdly rootable for despite her being very heelish. whenever charlotte gets her on her shoulders and her eyes widen in terror real "hey im just a little guyyyy" shit

literally every single god damned thing that sami zayn and adrian neville do in the ring together. and the AUDIENCE. the way they sing for sami and he looks out at them, then back at neville and it's like you can see their energy powering him up like a battery.

the way he waits for neville to enter, sitting watching from the corner on the floor with this slightly sardonic smile, like he can't quite decide if he hates this guy now or if he can't help still loving him, he just knows he has to beat him, and he channels it into this tiny little passive aggressive finger wave to neville on the top rope

frankly the degree to which they are eyefucking right up into the start of the match. while corey remarks that adrian's been changing his gym schedule so he doesn't have to overlap with sami.

neville getting increasingly frantic and checking with the ref after every pin attempt, until he starts roaring and punching sami in that way you know is just going to fire him up and it DOES

the strangled cry of frustration from corey and the audience both when sami checks on the ref after he gets hit in the head by neville (STOP YOU KIND HEARTED FOOL). and conversely the desperate screams of NO when he even looks in the direction of the title and they realise what he's considering.

kevin enters the ring to hug sami and bleed all over his shoulder and sami kisses his head twice, and even after everything with neville being sami's on screen bestie it's immediately clear even with no context that these two have something deeper. when they're reuinited it's like watching sami come home.

tyler breeze is in the crowd of wrestlers congratulating sami. and he's blue steeling which means he's in character doing that, it's canon that tyler breeze was happy for sami and came out to congratulate him. i need to sit down

sami does a little dad dance on the top turnbuckle after his big celebration it's really fucking cute. he does a thousand cute things in this show that's just one example.

oh and something that happened at the end i can't remember the details, sth with kevin and sami. it was pretty cool iirc
