As for your second question.. Well first of all I'm glad to hear that you're thinking about starting your own writing blog for enstars! Writing can be such a nice creative outlet so I can only recommend it!

As for how I research characters for my writing, I'm sorry to disappoint you but all I can offer as advice really is just reading the stories 😭 It's what I do to try and wrap my head around a character before writing them.

The result of this is me letting a lot of requests pile up in my inbox and not writing them just yet because I don't feel comfortable in my understanding of the character to write for them at the moment.

This is also the reason why you might see me post mainly about the same few characters on here. I think I have a good grasp on Valkyrie for example because I've read quite a few of their stories.

It's not necessary to read every single story for every single character but I would recommend reading a few of them until you feel like you have a general grasp of the character and what they are like.

Reading their wiki page or maybe stumbling on a character analysis from someone that likes the character a lot can also be helpful! And sometimes I also just learn about characters from osmosis by seeing others talk about them dndnd

What I want to say here though is, and as you can tell that's something I also struggle with myself, is that no one expects you to know every single thing about every character ever.

As you said, there's like 50 characters in enstars and hundreds of stories that would probably take weeks or months of reading to get through and that's something that just isn't really feasible for most people

But there is nothing wrong with writing something for a character and not knowing everything. You don't have to!

Most people only focus on ("produce") a few characters in a huge game like enstars and that is okay too!

I can tell you from my own experience, I'm just happy every time I see someone write something new about my favorite character. It doesn't matter if you don't know every single thing about them, it doesn't matter if you didn't read the story where *insert thing*happened.

Because especially in a fandom as small as enstars on here, everyone is just overjoyed when they find something new about their favorite characters. I know I get super excited whenever I find a new Mika x reader headcanon or fic in the tags and it won't matter if the writer maybe doesn't know the character as well as I might do.

Every person likes another character best and that is okay!

Also just saying but as a writer you don't have to do requests like I do. You can just write whatever strikes your fancy and about the characters *you* want to write.

And even if you do take requests, there's no shame in waiting until you feel prepared to write it, there is no rush. You also don't have to write every request you get.

Pleasing everyone is a hopeless endeavor and you always reserve the right to reject a request if you don't feel like writing it / don't think you are able to at the moment!

I feel like I've gone pretty off-topic at the end here but what I'm trying to say is that it's perfectly okay to write for a character while not having read every single character!

Sure, having read every story about a character gives you the ability to talk a bit more nuanced about a character and maybe give you some ideas to include some of their lesser-known traits or back stories into your writing but it's not necessary!

Chances are, the person reading your story most likely also did not read every single story in the game, so don't worry too much

She ran, but she always leave a trace, purposedly; she never lied or hide anything from those two.

But after chapter 14... damn, your fic really gave me a roller coaster. Protective doesn't really describe the feeling for me. I feel like a mother dragon with bloodlust for those who hurt her children (imagined Chuuya unleashing his power in that prison). I imagined if Jangmin said to reader about "payback for hurting you" and reader just went all "the only one who can hurt him is ME, not YOU".

I have say, that phrase somehow hit me hard; like I finally realized the meaning of it. 'I want him hurt, but by my own way' because reader want him to feel guilty for hurting her, but she never wanted Jungkook or Jisoo to suffer that bad.

Normally, I'm hooked on dark fics. I'm always up for the Dead Dove DNE. But something else always trigger me whenever it's the members who got r*p*d... like my other half just went "hoh...? you dare lay your filthy hands on him".

This is originally a BSD fanfic and trust me, I understand when you said you couldn’t imagine soukoku acting like how I write them. This is why I usually tag my soukoku fics as OOC because i legit received so much shit for writing them like this, some even go as far as attacking me as person 😭 but most of my fics are self-indulgent and it is FANON for a reason! Though, I’m not gonna lie, I wish more readers would interact with my works—this is partly the reason why I post my BSD fics as JJK/BTS ones because I want to hear feedback from you guys, as I understand MxM is not everyone’s cup of tea. There are also people on my inbox asking me to turn my other fics into a JJK one, so I guess, why not?

Downside, though, is my characters, like you mentioned, are usually patterned to the original characters and not so much like BTS’s. (I’m too lazy to edit. I’m sorry.)

I also try to turn my hiatus/discontinued fics into a BTS/different fandom one because I get fresh ideas on how to continue the stories if I think of a situation not solely on in the original character.
