Slashers finding and reacting to their s/o in the brink of death because of another slasher!
Angst to fluff pls:D
That really IS a good one.
Slashers finding their s/o close to death thanks to another slasher
Warnings: Blood
Jason Voorhees
He notices your sleep getting more and more restless lately. You complain about frequent nightmares, and often wake up with cuts and bruises that weren't there the night before. Jason tries so hard to dismiss it as coincidence. Hell, you are living in a forest; there are a myriad of ways to injure yourself here without noticing. Against his better judgement, he goes out to deal with the recently arrived campers.
When he returns, he immediately notices you thrashing around in your sleep, and the red stains spreading from your skin to your sleep clothes and finally to the bedsheets. Jason panicks, and tries to shake you awake. This isn't good, you're losing so much blood... No, he can't lose you. Not like this, not in any other way either. By the time you finally wake up, you are already dangerously weak from the blood loss. Jason patches you up with the first aid kits from the cabins, praying that it is enough. Then he gets ready to sleep.
Seems like that pesky old man didn't learn his lesson last time. But Jason gladly repeats it, hoping it will stick this time, and returns to your side. Your hand is warm in his, and your face is slowly gaining a bit more color. He sighs with relief.
You'll be okay.
Vincent Sinclair
You just wanted to take a walk in the sorrounding woods. Nothing to be worried about, right?
Well, wrong. You hear the chainsaw from far away, but you play it off as just a trick of your imagination, or maybe just some workers from the county. What you did not expect was the huge man in a leather mask breaking out of the woodwork and coming right for you. The saw digs into your side, but you somehow manage to get away.
Vincent is looking for you. You left on your walk an hour ago and have yet to return. You're never gone for that long. Everything within him freezes when he sees you stumbling out of the forest, clutching the gaping, bleeding wound.
He takes you into his arms and lets out loud gasps and whines, his unuseable vocal cords straining to form words he cannot speak. He drags you back home, where Bo and Lester are watching TV. Bo drops his can of beer when he sees you. "Shit!"
"That looks bad. Vinnie, we need to take them to the hospital..." Lester takes over carrying you. From far away, the whole family hears the chainsaw roar.
Vincent stares at Bo head on. And he signs. "Let me borrow your shotgun."
He did not end up killing your assailants, but a very pissed off Vincent coming after them with Bo's shotgun taught them not to bother the Sinclairs again. After they are dealt with, Vincent has Bo drive him to the hospital, where you are. You open your eyes and find yourself sorrounded by your family.
"Sorry I made you guys worry", you mutter.
Vincent squeezes your hand and shushes you. You need to focus on getting back on your feet.
Freddy Krueger
When you come stumbling into his dream realm, he immediately notices that something is wrong. You are *bleeding* and pale as a ghost, and can barely stand. You're not sleeping... *you've fainted*!
"Shit shit shit..." He props you up. "Hey, who did this?!"
"Hock...." You sputter. "Hockey mask..."
His eyes widen and he gnashes his teeth. "Jason? That fucking hockey puck?!"
You nod weakly. "I... I'm hiding... Don't know how long... Must have passed out..."
Freddy grabs your shoulders a bit tighter. "Listen to me. I need you to wake up, right now. I'll show that fucking mama's boy what happens when he fucks with you. So go on! Wake up! Wa-..."
He finds himself stuffed into a closet with you, and reminds himself to teach you better hiding spots once this is over. You pass out again almost immediately, and while Freddy hates to leave you like this, he has a disobedient *dog* he has to deal with, first.
Once Jason has been sent back to where he belongs, Freddy returns to the closet, where he finds you slowly coming to.
"Did you have a nice nap?", he asks cordially. He is glad to see you awake again. That means the injuries may not have been as bad as they seemed at first. But still... "You should probably get to a hospital..."
"Yeah... Probably..." You fumble your cellphone out of your pocket and dial 911.
Later, once you're sleeping peacefully in your hospital bed, Freddy pops back into your dreams.
"That'll teach that bastard not to show his ugly mug here again", Freddy sneers. "Are you okay now?"
"Couldn't be better", you reply with a smile.
Freddy is pretty rough around the edges. But during moments like this, he shows that he really cares.
Bubba Sawyer
Maybe Drayton was right when he said that nothing good would come out of this road trip. But you love wax museums and Bubba had heard about this really famous one in Ambrose... He would have never guessed that it would end like this.
You have been separated from the rest of the Sawyers, and now everyone is frantically looking for you. Most of all Bubba, who blames himself for not taking better care of you.
They track you to the Sinclair house, where Bubba hears a pained howl from the basement. And when he finally reaches the secret workshop, he sees the masked man dig his ornate carving knives into your flesh. The man himself has a pretty nasty bite wound on his hand; a display of you fighting back when he tried to inject you with the paralytic.
The chainsaw roars to life, and the man with the carving knives only barely manages to dodge it. He seems to know well enough that he and his little butter knives have little chance against the chainsaw, so he retreats, while Bubba cuts you lose from the operating table and carries you upstairs.
Bubba isn't the only one who would have loved to make these rotten brothers pay for hurting you, but your health was more important right now. He *somehow* managed to talk Drayton into taking you to the hospital, despite the eldest's protest about the cost.
Bubba hates that Drayton won't allow him to visit you, but when you come back, the first thing he does is hug you as tightly as a drowning man clinging to a lifesaver.
Don't ever scare him like that again, please.

Jordan Buckley, Ohio inmate, born 2003, incarceration intake at age 17, scheduled for release at age 21 in 2024.
Involuntary Manslaughter
Demographic details for juveniles in Ohio is not publicly available.
In October 2020, the widower of deceased local photographer Victoria Schafer took the podium twice to address the two teenagers involved in her death at Hocking Hills state park in 2019 at the now 17-year-olds' sentencing.
The two had separate hearings due to separation of defendants in the case, so victim impact statements had to be given twice.
"I can't imagine what you're going through," Fritz Schafer began. "That's what people say to me, And how could they? Victoria's death was so tragic, so devastating, so senseless, it's unimaginable — whatever I say today is not going to come close to describing how painful this has been for me and for my family."
Fritz said when Jordan Buckley and his co-defendant, Jaden Churchheus were caught after five "excruciating" weeks, the information they received was disturbing. "They showed a lack of remorse, selling drugs in the high school bathroom, they were members of a gang, and they were bragging about what they did," he said.
Judge Jonah M. Saving committed both defendants to the custody of the Ohio Department of Youth Services to be held in a juvenile detention center for a minimum sentence of three years, with a maximum sentence of until both reach the age of 21.
Fritz described the gruesome injuries — both external and internal — that Victoria suffered when a six foot, 74-pound log that Buckley and Churchheus pushed or kicked off the cliff, which hit her on the head, quickly killing her.
Buckley began to weep as Victoria's father spoke and sobbed as Victoria's sister, Catherine Muth, tearfully described the loss of her sister — absently thinking of texting her when she thinks of her, and missing her sister's advice when she needs it most, and catching glimpses of Victoria's face in their own reflection.
Churchheus, meanwhile, showed no visible emotion as he listened to accounts of the family and teens.
Several of the teenagers present the day Victoria was killed described the trauma of watching her die.
Buckley and Churchheus both addressed the family before they were sentenced. "I am so sorry for what has happened, I'm so sorry I was too big of a coward to come forward about what happened, I am very grateful you decided to give me a second chance," said Buckley.
Churchheus also apologized for what he did, and thanked the family for being merciful.
Buckley and Churchheus had agreed to plea deals and pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter while appearing in Hocking County Common Pleas Court, but were sent back to juvenile court for the purpose of sentencing.
Both were classified as serious youth offenders and given a three-to-four-and-a-half year suspended sentence in the Hocking County Court of Common Pleas, which is stayed pending completion of the juvenile sentence.
This means, Saving noted, that if either defendant "screws up" in the course of their juvenile sentence, the state may seek to impose the original stated sentence.

Some of you may have noticed the sudden lack of pony on the blog lately, and it’s because unfortunately we have been working through some soundness issues that cropped up while I was off for my surgery. Vet has been out twice now. First time around we did a full lameness eval and imaging on her left stifle. Imaging showed not a huge difference between the left and right, but vet recommended we go ahead with injecting the stifle to see if we could get the lameness under control. At that point the lameness eval was showing a bit of a “chicken and egg” relationship between her being sore in her loin and lame in her stifle.
After 10-ish days she was looking just as lame as she had looked at the eval, so I reached out to the vet again. 10 days was when I was told I would start to know if the injection was going to be the “magic cure” we were hoping for. Vet recommended we x-ray the hock and go from there, so we set that up. On Saturday (three-weeks post injection) I noticed a significant improvement in soundness on the lunge line, but still not 100%. Monday the vet came out. Hock x-rays showed fairly normal hocks for a 14 year old. There were some minor changes, but no smoking gun, and nothing worth injecting. We also ruled out soft tissue injury based on other clinical presentations/signs. Vet noted that she felt Sydney was significantly more sore in her loin area than she has been at the initial lameness eval and suggested chiropractic adjustment and acupuncture treatment. She then gave me her blessing to ride the following day to see if things had progressed at all.
The ride on Tuesday (yesterday) Sydney felt great walk/trot (she had looked and felt great this entire time at the walk and trot), but canter still felt like garbage, so obviously still not sound. Not that I was expecting one chiro adjustment to fix all of our problems. Vet wants me to get a massage therapist involved and to also have my saddle triple checked by my saddle fitter. We think my swap to the Bates dressage saddle (it has now been side lined and I am back in the County for any test riding/light riding) may be our smoking gun, maybe, or maybe we are both just grasping at straws because the imaging for the entire leg is coming back squeaky clean. Our only other option, really, is to start blocking that leg and Sydney HATES needles near that leg. Like, has to be stoned out of her mind before a needle can get near that leg, and horses have to be fully awake during blocking procedures (she partially degloved that leg several years ago, and then re-injured it in THE EXACT SAME SPOT because WTF HOW two more times that required stitches and is now a pill about needles near her hind legs).

The Clara F. Horn House
807 South Fountain Ave.
Springfield, OH
William and Albert Horn, Springfield, OH, carpenters, completed this house on the then sparsely populated South Market Street in 1869. It is likely that the original front and side gabled section of the house was in the Carpenter Gothic Style, although later additions and alterations have made the house appear more Vernacular. Their mother, Clara, the head of the household, was widowed several years prior when the family lived in Champaign County. Annie, aged 19, would have likely helped her mother around the house while Oliver, aged 13, attended school. The Horn Family remained close through the years, possibly due to financial difficulties. After leaving school, Oliver worked locally as a molder while his brothers both had short stints at Whitely, Fassler and Kelly manufacturing the Champion Reaper.
Leaving the factory, Albert began Albert D. Horn and Company, dealers in coal and wood. Their advertisements stated that they had “the best grades of Jackson, Hocking, and Anthracite Coal at the lowest prices,” and their store on Washington was a short walk from the house. Albert married and began raising his family at the house around 1879. In 1883, he and William attempted to use their brief experience at Whitely, Fassler and Kelly to begin Horn Brothers, an agricultural implement firm. Around 1887, after the failure of Horn Brothers, most of the Horn family left Springfield to begin farming in Tennessee. The back of the house and the carriage house were added in 1911.
