Rising Impact Season 1 Trailer

Nakaba Suzuki's intense golf manga Rising Impact has gotten an anime adaptation. The series follows thrid-grader Gawain Nanaumi as he discovers golf and his competitions with rivals to become the best golfer.

Rising Impact stars the voice talents of Misaki Kuno (Gawain Nanaumi), Yumiri Hanamori (Lancelot Norman), You Taichi (Kiria Nichino), Atsumi Tanezaki (Kurumi Nishino), Kaede Hondo (Yumiko Koizumi), Yuto Uemura (Liebel Ringvald), Yumi Uchiyama (Platalissa Bonaire), Eiji Takamoto (Wanglian Li), Shunsuke Takeuchi (Riser Hopkins), and Katsuyuki Konishi (Kai Todoin). HIII a new oc! I actually took my time with doing him, meet Haoyu Hyakkushiki. Haoyu was adopted by Momoko's parents. He's Half Chinese and Indonesian! He's 23 years old and like his sister Momoko, he loves soy sauce glazed dango. Haoyu also has a small crush on Hitoshi Sugoroku ! But he's really good at hiding it. The other Supervisors and Warden heard rumors about Hajime's Twin, meeting her in person, and seeing Hajime and his twin interactions, they're in shock/other, of how they're looks are identical yet opposite in personalities

-There was a rumor floating around Nanba Prison, one that some didn’t believe completely- thinking it was a joke- that Hajime, the head guard of Building 13- had a twin sister.

-They all knew of his cross-dressing little brother, as that was a fun day in the guard’s meeting when Hitoshi showed up alongside him.

-Only a handful of people knew this rumor was to be true, the doctors in the medical office where you worked, the inmates of Cell 13, and the guards of Building 13.

-While you were identical to Hajime, minus the scar, you were nothing alike in personality- you were sweet, warm, and caring- but just as powerful as you were one of the few who could put Hajime in his place.

-It was a meeting Warden Momo called for- with all heads of buildings to attend, to go over monthly financial reports, and it included the non-cell areas as well, like the clinic, and the head doctors, the married Otogi couple- didn’t feel like going this time and sent you instead.

-When you walked into the meeting, wearing your nurse’s dress, instantly everyone froze, as all they could see was Hajime- who only froze to see you there as you beamed brightly, “Hello everyone, I am Sugoroku Y/N- it’s nice to meet you!”

-Hajime was quickly holding his stomach, doubled over with stomach pain as everyone was quickly shouting- in complete disbelief that the rumors were true that Hajime had a twin sister!

-Momo was checked out, as all she saw was Hajime smiling at her, despite it being you, unable to comprehend what she had just seen.

-Kiji and Samon were crowding you, looking at you closely to see that you were identical, minus the scar. Samon scowled lightly, “Why the hell are you bald like him?”

-Your hand came down on a sharp open-handed chop to the top of his head, sending him to the ground, showing that you were just as strong as your brother as you pouted lightly, “That’s very rude to ask a lady that!” Kiji was the one to compliment you, on your attitude and how you were much better than Hajime personality wise.

-Momo ran the meeting like a robot, unable to comprehend what was going on.

-As you left the paperwork you put your hand on her forehead, concerned as she seemed flushed, “Warden- are you okay?”

-She was hallucinating, imaging Hajime’s voice instead of your own, seeing Hajime doting and her whole body flushed from head to toe as a rush of steam rushed from her head and she fell straight back.

-More panic filled the room as the warden fainted, but you quickly took charge, since you’re a nurse, and radioed the infirmary to be prepared for the warden as you worked on stabilizing, her, not realizing you were making it worse, as Momo was imagining it was Hajime, not you.

-Just another crazy day in Nanba Prison!!

A plot point that's been bothering me in Nanbaka is that most the staff - even the warden and the supervisors - didn't know what was going on in the prison.

On one hand, okay, people probably don't react well to finding out their place of work is actually a concentration camp. And telling a lot of people would make it more likely that the secret will get out.

But. Have you noticed a lot of the guards are also 'weird'?

Like Samon and Kenshirou and that cat one having undeniable animal traits. And Hitoshi's concrete breaking durability. And that one supervisor who's literally a sarcophagus.

Call me crazy, but I think the "Nanba employs only the most remarkable guards" is a ploy to get even more oblivious togabito inside. Basically self-policing each other until Hiiro decides to kill everyone within the walls.

Hajime Sugoroku

Supervisor of Building Thirteen, Hitoshi's older brother, and Seitarou's mentor.

Is one of the few people to treat Seitarou like he has any serious potential at Nanba. Is protective enough that he's given Kiji grief for trying to recruit Seitarou to Building Three, but firmly believes in his need to toughen up. Can recognize when Seitarou is having an "emotional episode" and will let him have some private time in the night duty room to compose himself, as needed.

He and Seitarou aren't friends exactly, because they don't really interact outside of work, but they are friendly and get along well, despite their drastically different personalities, worldviews, and approaches to life.

Wants to train Seitarou up into a very competent guard.

‘’- Thoughts

(M/N) was walking back to the main office of Building 3 after taking the inmates back to their cells after lunch.

‘These days are always the most tiring,’ he sighed opening the door, ‘at least I didn’t have to deal with--.’

“(M/N)!” Kiji screamed clinging to him as he walked through the door.

“Mitsuba-san! What’s gotten into you?! Get off!” He screamed back prying his supervisor off.

“Oh, Darling, my make-up isn’t blotchy, is it?!” Kiji cried dramatically. 

“Huh?” (M/N) questioned.

“It’s not blotchy, right?!” Kiji repeated shaking him frantically.

“Of course not! Now please stop shaking me!” He got out of Kiji’s hold, “Who told you that?”

“That Hajime did,” Kiji took out his compact mirror and observed his face.

‘Of course it was! As if my life wasn’t hectic enough being a Nanba guard. Why does he have to make my life more difficult?!’ (M/N) groaned, ‘on the bright side, it is time for my break and I can spend it with Hitoshi~.’

 “(M/N), you are helping me fix this!” Kiji grabbed his arm and dragged him to the break room. 

“What?! But I was going to spend my break with Toshi! Get Ruka to help you not me!” He struggled but his protests fell on deaf ears. That break, his only break, he spent trying to “fix” his supervisor’s make-up.

****After Work****

“Ah, what a day,” (M/N) sighed opening his apartment door, “Hitoshi, I’m home!”

Stepping into the shared apartment he briefly turned around to close and lock the door. In those brief moments, he was embraced from behind.

“Welcome home, honey!” Hitoshi exclaimed.

“No.82, get back in your cell!” (M/N) yelled in reflex at the name.

Hitoshi giggled, “I’m sorry, (M/N). I forgot that I can’t use that nickname anymore.”

(M/N) turned around to embrace him back, “no, I’m sorry, sweetie. I was suppose to spend my break with you but...something came up last minute.”

Hitoshi looked up at him with a head tilt, “what happened?”

(M/N) exhaled, “your brother is what happened.”

“Big brother Hajime?” Hitoshi questioned, “what did he do?”

(M/N) sighed for what felt like the 100th time that day, “he told Mitsuba-san that his make-up was blotchy right before my break.”

He smiled nervously, “I’m sure he didn’t do it on purpose.”

(M/N) chuckled at his attempt to justify his brother, “I’m sure after the 60th time he didn’t mean it.”

He chuckled too, “okay, maybe he did do it on purpose.”

“Why does your brother hate me so much? You’d think that after the marriage he would ease up on me,” (M/N) asked his husband.

“I don’t know either,” Hitoshi admitted with a slightly sad tone. It was obvious that the constant fighting of the two men in his life was upsetting him.

“Well, whatever the case it doesn’t matter. We’ll get along eventually because I’m not giving up the one who’s just right for me.” (M/N) stared at him with undying love.

Hitoshi, although embarrassed, felt content and overjoyed to hear him say that. In those short few seconds, they gravitated towards each other. Their lips mere centimeters away when a bang was heard at the door scaring the young couple.

“You invited Hajime for dinner, didn’t you?” (M/N) asked over the sound of the consistent banging at the door.

 “Maybe?” Hitoshi said with coy.

(M/N) released Hitoshi so he could open the door.

‘This is going to be a long night,’ he groaned already dreading the night.

Trivia(Facts)

-She has two sets of shackles on her one on each one of her wrists and one on each of her ankles. The ones around the wrist turn into like claws

-The ones on the ankles change into anything that help her climb walls(?)

-She tends to accidentally stray off from her brothers when shes with them in different buildings wondering the halls

Fem Reader who's like Kanae Kocho, from Demon Slayer, but in modern era. With Kanae's personality and abilities.

Reader as Hajime and Hitoshi Sugoroku's cousin (You can add this if you want; Reader works at the Nanbaka with her Sister)

-The inmates of Cell 13 of Building 13 of Nanba Prison had managed to escape, again, and were currently rushing through the building, a plan in mind to go and have some fun while Hajime was giving chase, charging down the hallway like a speeding train.

-The members of Cell 13 were having a blast, laughing loudly as Uno called back over his shoulder, “Give it up Hajime- you won’t catch us!”

-Rock skidded to a halt, causing Uno, Jyugo, and Nico to crash into him, making Jyugo yell up at him, “Why the hell did you- holy…” his eyes went wide as they all looked to see what made Rock stop, seeing a very beautiful woman, wearing a prison guard’s uniform, with a pair of butterfly clips on the side of her hats.

-You smiled beautifully, looking so gentle and elegant, “Oh my- I found you! Now let’s get you back to your cell, you naughty boys.” Instantly they melted, becoming completely obedient to you as Nico took one of your hands while the other three fought via rock-paper-scissors on who would get to hold your other hand all the way back to their cell.

-Hajime was exasperated, seeing them being so well behaved for you, a tick-mark on his cheek as you smiled sweetly at them, “Now stay in your cell. Shall we continue with the tour, Hajime?” as you turned to him.

-Instantly the four gremlins surrounded Hajime, furious that he didn’t tell them that they were getting a new guard, and one so cute!! Hajime looked exasperated as Uno, trying to flirt, came over to you, “So how does an angel like you know a gorilla like Hajime?”

-You just laughed into your hand, looking amused, “Oh- Hajime is my cousin. He’s the one who told me about this place and both my little sister and I applied.”

-The four turned white, hearing that you had a sister, before Hajime grabbed Uno, throwing him off you before leading you out, shouting at them to stay in their cell.

-This made things worse however, as Cell 13 broke out even more, just to see you, something you thought was cute, but you were worried about Hajime’s stomach, something Hitoshi asked you to keep an eye out on.

-However, it was much easier for you to wrangle Cell 13, as they would willing following you, just to spend time with you, making it a bit easier on Hajime and Seitaro, while you got along easily with Yamato, sometimes the two of you were very similar it was almost scary.

-Your little sister worked in the hospital sector, working under Dr. Otogi, both of them, so you got to see her quite often, especially when you would bring Nico, and the other three members of his cell, to his checkup.

-They were a little more scared of Shinobu, as she was a bit crass, but her treatments were always gentle, something ratted her out on which made her flush and made you coo on how cute was being.

-Many other inmates adored you as well, as you were always so kind and gentle, something they enjoyed, but Cell 13 was quite territorial over you, while Hajime didn’t want you to be around any of them at all, as he considered putting you on desk duty for a while but realized that might cause more issues.

-Rock was curious, as you didn’t look like a fighter, like Hajime, as he had seen the sword strapped to your side, something he had never seen you use yet, but you just giggled when he asked, “Oh I’d like to think I’m strong. Hajime and I used to play all the time!”

-You showed your strength during one of the trips to the clinic, after some other inmates escaped, wanting to cause havoc and when they saw you, they tried to attack, as you were the first woman they had seen in a long while.

-You just smiled softly before sliding a leg back as you drew your sword. A swarm of flower petals surrounded you as you easily took the six attackers out, not seriously injuring them, just knocking them out.

-When you turned back to Cell 13, they were all hugging each other, looking scared, seeing that you were just as strong as Hajime, knowing that the sweet smile you wore didn’t match- you were scary just like Hajime.

-However, when you smiled sweetly, flowers and bubbles surrounding you, they melted, smiling goofily as you herded them towards the clinic as other guards arrived to handle those who tried to break out.

-Nobody broke out of Nanba, either being unable to or they chose not to, like Cell 13, because they didn’t want to be apart from you.

You’re so welcome and thank you for this request! I have such a soft spot for the guards in general and some of these characters are among my favourites, so this is a really fun ask for me to write! I hope you’ll enjoy the headcanons, dear!

Who orders takeaway?

While at Nanba, meals are provided for free for all of the guards so takeaway isn’t really a huge thing for these guys, unless it’s their days off. For a lot of his days off, Hitoshi was around to cook for Hajime (and since becoming a guard, Hitoshi just makes meals and freezes them ahead of time for Hajime), so he never really goes the takeaway route. Kiji occasionally does takeaway, but only rarely because Kiji is almost always on some fad diet to help his figure. Samon got really, really obsessed with takeaway for a couple of months and literally ate it for every meal once he moved out of the mountains and is kind of sick of even the idea of it now, meaning that Mitsuru is the one who does it the most. And even then, since Mitsuru loves being around people, it’s more common for him to choose to sit down in a place and eat than to grab takeaway.

Who has the more adventurous love life?

Hajime is a workaholic who doesn’t really have a love life, Samon’s love life is…sad, really, and Kenshirou has eyes only for the Warden at this point in his life. Mitsuru occasionally dates, but it’s mostly just casual fun, meaning that Kiji, with his obsession with online dating and desire for a fantastical, sweep me off my feet romance, combined with his super high standards, has the most dramatic and insane dating life. It also doesn’t help that, being the person he is, when Kiji’s standards are met, he falls hard, and he falls fast and gets almost obsessive about his new partner…for a couple weeks or a couple months at most. Kiji is so that person who will say ‘I love you’ obnoxiously early in the relationship. But those feelings always fade as he starts seeing the person’s flaws and decides they don’t actually live up to his standards so he either ghosts them or dumps them and moves on to the next person.

Who is better at keeping secrets?

Hajime and Kenshirou are both excellent secret keepers. However, because Hajime can come off as scary a little intimidating, he’s not often told people’s secrets. Kenshirou, despite coming off as strict and a little judgmental, often finds himself being a secret keeper for someone and, because he feels it’s only common decency, he wouldn’t dream of telling someone’s secret unless it was needed to prevent danger to that person or someone else.

Who knows every rumor?

Okay, but this is both Mitsuru and Kiji. They are definitely gossip buddies…like, that is a large part of the friendship between those two, just having a meal together and spilling all the drama to each other. Nobody is quite sure how both of them know what they know, but if it’s happening in Nanba, one or both of them will know about it.

Who suggests a movie night?

I definitely feel like this would be a Mitsuru thing but the huge problem with it is that the only person he might have any luck in convincing to join him is Kiji and if Mitsuru has to sit through one more romance movie…it’s just not happening. Not with any of them, not unless it’s ordered to keep their jobs.

Who tries to convince the other to try skydiving?

Again, I feel this is a Mitsuru thing. I think I’ve mentioned it before, but I do think that Mitsuru is someone who would be into extreme sports of various types and skydiving would appeal to him. Kiji wouldn’t go – the outfits they need to wear are simply too atrocious to be on his body. Hajime wouldn’t go because he thinks it’s a waste of his time (honestly, he’s more of a rock-climbing guy anyway). Kenshirou, though he manages it well and doesn’t make it public knowledge, is afraid of heights. Samon, however? He’s willing to give it a try.

Who is the holiday planner?

Again, this is where the duo of Kiji and Mitsuru really comes in wonderfully handy. Both men have a lot of holiday spirit and strong opinions. Mitsuru is definitely the one who comes up with the craziest ideas and gets everyone hyped up for the holiday, as much as he is able, while Kiji actually rather excels at handling all the minutiae.

Who spams the other with memes?

Mitsuru will go through spells where the only way he’ll digitally communicate with others will be gifs and memes. He normally only stops when Momoko beats him up enough for him to realize she’s seriously getting pissed off with his antics and honestly, by that point, everyone else in Nanba prison, including the other men, are thanking her silently for it.

Who has never enough money with them and lets the other pay for things?

Samon’s actually kind of bad at this. Money has never really been a big thing for him. While he does realize it’s essential for life outside of the mountain and he does his best to manage his money well, he is guilty of honestly forgetting to grab money before he heads out. It’s so bad that most of the places located in Nanba have a running tab set up for him.

Who wants to try a classic sleepover?

I do see this as being something Kiji has maybe tried to set up at least a handful of times, because it is really something that would appeal to him. However, everyone else either gave excuses, like being too busy, or in Hajime’s case, just told him to fuck off.

Who answers their phone at 2 am?

Okay, but because of their roles as not only prison guards, but as Supervisor’s of their respective buildings/divisions, every single one of these men are well-trained to answer their phones as quickly as possible, no matter the time of day or night, just in case of an emergency.

Who plays pranks?

This one is kind of an easy answer, just because it’s shown in canon that this is very much something that Mitsuru not only does but loves doing. Hajime tends to be his target more often than not, but the others do get it to some extent as well.

Who initiates dates for the other?

Mitsuru has, either in complete seriousness or just to fuck with them, he’ll never confirm which one, made online dating profiles for each of the other men. He’s definitely shown them the results of those dating profiles which are very…interesting reads. How quickly and how badly the other men reacted varied, but Mitsuru was more than a little beat-up by the time he finished showing them to everyone.

Who is more chaotic?

Mitsuru is Nanba’s true chaotic neutral. Like, yeah, he’ll do his job and he doesn’t really want bad things to happen but overall, his main priorities are to amuse himself and to create a little chaos and fun for everyone around him.

Who has the more bizarre quirks?

Okay, but have you met any of these men? They are all full of bizarre quirks in their own unique ways. Hajime has his super-strength, weak stomach, his hair is super curly when grown out, but baby fine and prone to frizz, so he sports either ramen-head or a blond afro if he doesn’t shave his head every couple of days. Kiji is full of bizarre little quirks, especially verbal ones, and swears his feet will get blisters if he even tries to wear anything without a designer name and a bit of a heel. Mitsuru is nothing but bizarre but his inability to really talk at a normal volume definitely counts. Kenshirou can hear frequencies that normally only dogs can hear and Samon, along with being freakishly strong, is a monkey in all but species.

Who spends the most money on unnecessary things?

Kiji has a love for shopping, especially online shopping, and is so the type who will buy anything on sale, even if the sale only amounts to being something like ten cents off, because he just can’t pass up a bargain. Clothes, make-up, skincare, bath supplies, perfume, and scented candles are really his weaknesses though.
