Right! XIVWrite is in it's final day and I have written nothing! (Blame Splatoon) But I have kept in mind and written down who is still getting all the many prompts just to keep in mind with of my made up FC of WoLs has my interest.

Suprise, surprise, Syngigeim gets the most prompts with 5! Second on the list is a bit more surprising but perhaps not so much, as I tend to take where the MSQ takes us and marinate on it is Yamir Yadav, my dancing king and Radz-at-Han native with 3. Eleone and Kaen are around third place, and what I've been spinning in my head is something of an arc where, during the Final Days, Eleone proposed to Kaen but Kaen refused, causing a strain on their relationship. Turns out, Kaen still has lingering trauma from when she was last in a relationship, aka a very abusive one, and feeling that Eternally Bonding herself with Eleone, would, in a sense, entrap her. It's been something I've pondered about during this patch as a sort of side-story alongside the MSQ. How I envision it ending is that Syngigeim gets Kaen drinking with Zero and Estinien and both of them are just so befuddled at this situation that they just advise Kaen to just sort this out and actually talk about it. (While Syn just smirks and drinks)

The rest is a lot of my ocs getting one or two but I will make note of something. Both Elly Browne and Finn Highcliff, two actual alts of mine, recieved no prompts at all this month. And I have been struggling to get myself to bring Elly out of Heavensward. I believe this should be a sign to rotate them out of alts I super focus on to pull through expansions and just leave them as they are. Refocus attention on Aubinaux and Mariko instead as secondary alts.

...and perhaps get Yamir up into AT LEAST getting mounts already. I owe the boy that much at least and it would be much easier getting seasonal events done with them.

Given his position as chief chaplain of the Flaming Fist, Ashen was relatively free as to what patrol he would join that day to ensure that the mercenaries would behave, despite their status, according to the standards of what was expected of a city watch - a nearly impossible mission when it came to the Fist, he was well aware, but even a few drops of water could help douse the flames of corruption in his opinion.

One of his prime spots, these days, was at the border of Baldur's Gate. Though he had little to say on whether the candidates to entry would be allowed in, his careful eye and sole presence were enough to avoid the temptation, for those watched by him, of accepting or even demanding bribes, or otherwise abusing the refugees. Perhaps it was not simply by chance that he had taken to the habit of border duty right as the refugees happened to be mostly Elturian.

And he seemed he was right to do so, for one of their faces struck him as incredibly familiar. Having known the older man for decades, he would have recognised him anywhere - and in truth, he had not changed much from the last time he had seen him, years ago among the ruins of Elturel.

"Commander Zevlor!" the cleric cried out, extending his arms upwards in joy as he stepped out from the guard house to meet the tiefling. The Fist-clad chaplain removed his helmet to allow easier recognition. "Do you remember me, sir? Ashen Highcliff? I'm so relieved to see you. I thought you'd died back in Avernus."

Ranger Gathering 16: Game

"Hello and Go Along, apprentices! It's ya boi R4NG3R_G1L4N coming at you live today, diving back into the epic world of my new favorite game... the one I've been playing so much recently that it feels like I'm really living it... Ranger's Apprentice!

"Quick recap: our scruffy mentor's off on a little enforced vacation in Gallica after the Bridge Incident, so our mission, should we choose to accept it, is to track down the notorious Foldar. Yep, Mr. I-Killed-My-Parents-Over-A-Horsie himself. Here we go, accept the mission... I've got my trusty bow, my cloak, and my loyal horse, Blaze. Let's ride!

"All right, we’re starting in bustling Highcliff Fief. Look at those pixelated peasants! Living their pixelated lives... I mean, these graphics are actually pretty good, but I digress. Anyway, we’ve got a lead on a recent robbery, and you know what that means! Time to put on our detective hats- I mean cloaks- and suspiciously eye every NPC. First suspect on the list? Philip, the seneschal. Let's see...

"Okay, let's have a little chat with Baron Douglas. Baron, Baron, Baron... let's click on 'ask about recent robberies'... wow, my guy, not very helpful! Apparently, bandits are just a nuisance, and Foldar is a figment of our collective imagination. Thanks a lot.

"Looks like we're in luck! Maeve's got the inside scoop. Oho, looks like Philip's been racking up gambling debts. Big surprise. Apparently, he’s also been visiting the village at night... probably not for the clubs, I bet. Only one way to find out. Stealth mode activated!

"Here we go, keeping a safe distance. Just a ranger and his horse, blending into the night. No biggie. Aaand there's our guy. Look at him, sneaking out with that sack of money... bingo! That’s the payoff. Let’s follow him back to the castle and set our trap. Gotta tail him...

"Hold up! Ambush time! Crossbowmen at twelve o’clock! And these guys have the aim of stormtroopers after a night at the tavern. Just... stand still for a second... gotcha! And hey, would you look at that! There he is, the man of the hour, berating his goons. Nice going, Foldar, love the haircut!

"Timeskip! Nice. All right, guys, let's get some double bluff action going on here. We’re setting up a fake tax convoy... gonna need some archers for this. Let’s recruit!

"Hmm. Setting up our archers here... here... and here. Aaaaaand... here we go! Convoy’s on the move! Time to ambush these bandits. Go go go, guys, c'mon, give 'em all you got! Yes! Bullseye! Look at them scatter. Wait a minute... Foldar's making a break for it! Yeah, that's not happening. Quick, Blaze, let's get him!

"C'mon, c'mon, I've got him in my sights- time for some serious Power Ranger action. Aaaand nailed it! One, two three, and… wham! Down he goes! Game over, Foldar! That is how you take down a notorious villain while looking incredibly cool. Another mission done successfully. Just gotta head back to spill the beans on Douglas now. Speaking of beans, I could really go for some coffee after this...

Highcliff Town

As the name suggests, Highcliff Town is a beautiful, quiet settlement nestled on the edge of a breathtaking cliff, overlooking the waters of the Fairlyn region's Great Lake. The clear blue skies overhead are often dotted with Taillow, Wingull, and occasionally, the magnificent Staraptor.

At the heart of Highcliff Town is the Pokémon Gym, where the energetic, rambunctious Gym Leader Shaun presides. Shaun is a passionate trainer who specializes in Flying-type Pokémon. His gym challenges are praised for their creativity, and he focuses on mastering the art of the sky. Trainers will receive the Gale Badge if they manage to defeat him.

Got to spend mums birthday with her and my god mother Claire which was lovely.

Sanne landed in Southampton and also got to meet mum and I showed her the sights. We actually drove to highcliff so we could get our ocean fix. It was so cool Sanne being in the UK.

We then drove to Dover to meet up with the rest of the gang for the English Channel..

Poor Nev and his wife, Carolyn, and there 3 suitcases didn't quite fit in the mini..

The first few days were really sunny and we got some good ocean time in.

So with the final raid tier in mind...

...here be the desires my raid team would be corrupted by.

Syngigeim: Her noble heroic desires would twist her into becoming a god above all others who would offer salvation.

Mariko: Like Lahabrea, and so many of the other wardens, his desire for a singluar person would be twisted against him. And I think you all know who that would be.

Q’hara: Quite similar to Erictonios, despite all of his accompishments as a hero, he downplays them and always feels the need to prove himself. To be self-sufficent and not weak.

Finn: Finn’s a fun one in that I haven’t spent that much time with him. But a lot of him is defined by the trauma of losing his home versus his desire to see what’s out there. Don’t quite know what would be the corrupting point yet.

"I have met few Githyanki in my life." Minthara starts as she addresses the male in particular. Between the books that filled her time as child and the investigative nature she still carried today, curiosity has always been a quality of the Drow's, for better or worse. While Minthara addressed Amis her hand move behind her back, a sentiment conveyed that she had wanted to learn about his lived experience in full. Especially in coming to face with the man who seemed a differing situation entirely from their Lae'zel despite being born of the same origin. "Those whose blades I have crossed always screamed out for mercy in their alien tongue as they died."

"But it seems even compared to Lae'zel, who has proven herself every bit the capable warrior I had imagined the children of the Gith to be, you are not quite the same. Instead, it seems the details of your origin share more in common with Karlach than it does with Lae'zel." She tilts her head with the lift of her brow, "It is most curious."

The tale of Amis Highcliff was unique, and Minthara wanted to know more details outside of what she had seen when their minds had touched. She craved the personal details of an intriguing story, an intellectual conversation. "Indulge me if you will. I would like to know your story in full, without the ilithid touch. How does a Githyanki find himself in the service of Bel, how does your time in the Hells compare to Karlach's, how is it different."
