Arthur is a natural flirt.

While it isn’t wild to imagine a “gentleman” having no trouble swooning hearts through practiced mannerisms, a suave demeanor, and picked vocabulary, I imagine Arthur amplifying the natural charm he acquired from all those centuries when it comes to someone he grows an affinity towards—unbeknownst to himself.

Now, Arthur is far from naive. He’s had his flings, political affairs, and occasional non-serious relationships that left him no stranger in using his charm, at times being a tool to aid in personal benefits, but when it comes to someone that actually managed to snake their way into his heart? *cough* Alfred. *cough* Flings are easy. Relationships done out of the blue to appease boredom are fine. Faced with the horrid truth where his heart lies for another? Mayday! Seize the wheel or abandon ship!

In that circumstance, Arthur would become painfully ignorant, likely claiming affection (if he’s willing to even admit that) is nothing more than friendship. However, harboring feelings as well as being the natural flirt he is, Arthur could commit some rather questionable acts from an outside perspective. Where’s the harm if he compliments Alfred or agrees that the bloke is handsome and perhaps sometimes pretty? It's a simple observation. He’s given plenty of compliments before to others too. So what if Arthur feels compelled to graze Alfred’s cheek with the back of his hand and finds merry in the pink colorization that follows as a result? He’s only fooling around and finds humor in teasing his friend like plenty of other close friends do.

It doesn’t help that Alfred only helps in feeding Arthur’s delusions by being so accepting of physical touch and questionable antics, likely being in his own form of delusion that everything happening between them is 100% normal.

Passenger Prince Alfred

An idea that’s been playing in my head is that while Alfred loves to drive, he secretly enjoys being a passenger prince (as he should.) However, this all depends on the person he’s with.

Cue Arthur.

The passenger seat offers several benefits: pampering, freedom to ogle, keeping both hands on something far more entertaining than a wheel—(I shall leave that to your imagination.) You can’t tell me Alfred won’t snatch up the opportunity to drool over the Brit while he casually stretches back an arm over the passenger seat to check behind them, use the ample time he has to admire each feature of Arthur’s face, cling to the man in every way he safely can, and melt each time Arthur throws him a “check-in” glance between driving with visible fondness in his gaze.

That’s not even including the pampering, oml. Arthur would absolutely spoil Alfred to both their hearts content.

Plot twist: They’re all of Alfred’s kinks.

Honestly, I can understand. It does feel like Arthur’s kinks can be all over the place that it’s hard to pick a specific kink that’ll drive him bonkers. If it helps, I feel like the most mundane, simple acts could make Arthur swoon and “turn him on”—if that makes sense? Like, Alfred naturally curling up against him while they watch a movie or the way Alfred might refuse to let go of him when it’s time to get out of bed, all drowsy and perfect, or the times Alfred loses himself with giddy excitement and rambles over a certain interest of his or- *ahem* I think you get the point. I also think it’d be hilarious if Alfred thinks he needs to do something drastic, go all through these kinks (which Arthur will in no way complain about), just to realize he literally only needs to be himself and love Arthur as he unconditionally does to drive the Brit insane.

Edit to add: Although, if Arthur learned Alfred was doing all these kinks to please him instead of trying to prove a point—oh boy. 🥵 A possible kink??

I'm sorry if this ends too abruptly but I've legitimately been stuck for so long, I can't think of a thing that'd make Arthur swoon the same way punk rock biker spider-man quoting Arthur did to Alfred in the previous part.

I'm open to suggestions but until then I'll just leave this as is..
