Lucy: Of the first few hauntings I investigated with Lockwood and Co. I intend to say little, in part to protect the identity of the victims, in part because of the gruesome nature of the incidents, but mainly because, in a variety of ingenious ways, we succeeded in messing them all up.

My library does this blind date with a book event in February, and last year it was “love at first line” or something like that. We got the first line in the book and nothing else (they’re wrapped in brown paper so we don’t know what they are). This is the “blind date” I went on with Lucy, Lockwood, and George ^^
