truthfully, this is a race in which i don't remember much of what was happening in the REST of my life while watching it. that's not a bad thing, but it does make these messages shorter. or it would be. if it weren't for ONE thing 😁☝️🌷💌💌💕💕💕✨✨💥💥💥💥💥💥‼️‼️‼️‼️

so, one thing that happened during this race weekend is that i started tagging all the weekends as they were happening! my tag for 2023 canada was canada gp 2023 ‼️‼️‼️🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🌷💕✨🥺 it's so much fun looking back on everything i posted, i'm so glad i made that tagging system work for meeee :3 🍁💌🕊️🥰🥰💥 so from here on out: expect more random photodumps LOL 😁😁😁 and more clear experiences‼️‼️‼️‼️ so that means longer race messages‼️‼️‼️

as for my personal life? idk man same as before. texting emma and quinine all day getting tipsy at 4 pm and writing fanfiction i was very genuinely living my dream life atp. i need to go back this fuckass internship isnt it rn (i am exhausted)... ANYWAY yes life was very very good and i was very excited for this race weekend ✨🌷🕊️🐇🦁

for some reason i decided to watch free practice, which actually turned out to be nice because the pollen made everything VERY interesting :3 🌼🌼🌼 to watch at least LOL it was nice to see the pollen flying arouuundd the wind 🍃🌬️🎐

qualifying was AMAZING... i didn't like to see charles go out early yet again, but what do you do 💔💔💔 the groundhogs were absolutely hilarious though, can't believe i forgot about that jdhjdgfgf ✨✨✨🐿️🇨🇦 and rain!!! rain i like rain my best friend rain 🌧️🌧️🌧️ it was AMAZING seeing alex p1 for a little bit, and it was very fun watching quali with my brother and dad 💕💕🌷🌷🌞🌞 i was very very happy when max got pole, as i always am 🥰🥰🙏🙏💕💕💕 also max was VERY very adorable with fernando after qualifying, leaning into him and just happily maxplaining... my baby boy... my sun... 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺💥💥💥💕💕💕💕‼️‼️‼️‼️

the race itself was quite decent!! before watching the replay i only really remember being mad because max's gap was "so little" 😭😭😭😭😵😵😵 spoiler alert: it was about 10 seconds AGAGFSDHSFDGSF... whatever i've grown thank god 🙏🙏🙏🌙🌙🌙 what i didn't remember until now was the poor little bird... rest in peace lil guy 🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️ and max having issues with tyres in cold temperatures (i suddenly remember why i was so scared of vegas) 🌞🌞🌞 i didn't remember george in the wall but i love george in the wall. fyi i fucking love george and i will not tolerate any genuine hate (hyperbole, idc as long as you don't hate max), but i just fjdghjgfdfhgjdh HES SO FUNNYYY 😭😭😭😭😁😁😁😁💥💥💥‼️‼️‼️ max laughing about almost putting it in the wall... you better be grateful youre my sun sweetheart because i was a bit mad at you jghdfjg 😵😵😵😵😭😭😭💥💥💥 him winning made my entire week though 💕💕 other than that obviously the 4433 was INSANE this weekend like WHUH. what happen.... the infamous selfie... the your rear end looks insane........ Today was miserable! The weather was crap, the rain pelting down outside, you felt drained and just to top it all off, your car had a flat tyre. Perfect, just perfect! Dave walks past you on the drive, “want me to change that?”

“No I got it.”

He stops and looks at you with this incredulous look. “Really! You know how to change a tyre?”

“Of course I do.”

He shrugs his shoulders and hops into his huge jeep. He doesn’t even look at you as he pulls out of the drive. Fuck!

You most certainly did NOT know how to change a tyre, but you wouldn’t give that man the satisfaction. He already thinks your incompetent no reason to confirm it. Running back inside the apartment you call a taxi.

“Half and hour! Ugh no that’s fine thank you.”

Great now you were going to be late to work. I hate my life.

No one in work minded you were late, your boss Tom was such a sweet old man and Sarah and Josh were good friends.

“Another quiet day!”

“It’ll pick up I’m sure.”

“You say that everyday, and everyday it stays quiet.”

“Still on for drinks tonight? Start the weekend off on a good note!”

“Wouldn’t miss it. I need it after the morning I’ve had.”

“How’s things with Dave going?”

“Ugh! I honestly don’t know, he’s been so distant lately, we barely speak and when we do it ends in him storming off, so I just don’t bother anymore.”

“You don’t think he’s…ugh you know?”

“Cheating? I don’t know he could be. Is it bad that I hope he is, at least that would explain why he hasn’t touched me in nine weeks.”

Josh spits his coffee out. “Nine weeks? You haven’t had sex in nine weeks? Jesus!”

“Trust me it’s killing me.”

“What about the wedding though?”

“Well he’s clearly said that if I want to end it go ahead but his mom will make me pay her every red cent back. Which of course I’m not going to do, so he needs to end it first. Anyway enough about him, what time are we meeting tonight?”

“Around eight.”

“Perfect!”

You throw your keys on the tray in the hall, shrugging off your coat. Dave appears out of nowhere startling you.

“You couldn’t change the tyre I see.”

“No I couldn’t happy? Go on tell me how I can do nothing for myself, that I always need you to do everything.”

He has this smirk and all you want to do is smack it off his face.

“I didn’t say anything, just made an observation. By the way we have dinner with my parents tonight so go change.”

“What! Since when? I can’t anyway I’m meeting Sarah and Josh tonight.”

He laughs, actually laughs! What is so funny.

“Is something funny Dave?”

“Yeah you. We’re not blowing off my mother, she is paying for the wedding after all.”

“You mean your dad is, but whatever I’m not going.”

“Oh yes you are. I’ll drag you there myself if I have to.”

You storm off this time letting out a muffled scream as you stomp into the bedroom. That man and his bloody mother……ugh! Fine you want me to go I’ll go, but you’ll wish I hadn’t. You walk to your wardrobe and look for the slouchiest trouser you own and out on the old baggy sweatshirts oh have from your ex. This will teach him. You tie your hair up into a bun knowing his mother hates your hair off your face, and put on the barest amount of makeup. You smile at yourself in the mirror, one point to me.

When you walk into the kitchen he doesn’t even bat an eyelid. He doesn’t even care enough to be mad. A feeling washes over you and your not sure you like it at all, hurt.

The drive is quiet, it always is lately though so that’s nothing new. You stare out the window but you can feel his eyes on you.

“That’s not one of mine!”

“What?”

“That sweatshirt, it’s not mine.”

“Yeah I know it’s Todd’s.”

You turn to look at him now and you can see his hands grip the steering tighter, his knuckles going white.

“Why are you wearing an ex’s top? What is my mother going to think.”

“Right so your annoyed I’m wearing the top of an ex boyfriend but only because it will upset your mother. Huh!”

“What?”

“Your obsessed with her, if your not on the phone to her your over at her house. You don’t spend that much time with me for Christ sake and I’m your fiancé.”

“I’m not getting into this with you again.”

“Dave sweetheart how have you been?”

Since you saw him this morning! You roll your eyes not caring if she sees. She turns to you, eyes travelling up and down your form, “Y/N you look, have you put on weight? You do realise you have a wedding dress to get into darling.”

You want to cry, she’s always like this, it doesn’t matter what you wear, she is always critical of you. What hurts more is Dave let’s her.

“We’ll Susan that is what happens when your pregnant.”

You smirk as she visibly pales. She turns to Dave quick as a flash waiting for him to say something.

“She’s not pregnant! If she is it’s definitely not mine.”

Asshole!

Dinner is pleasant enough and you just remain quiet like you normally do.

“Dave darling did you hear that aunt Linda is having an affair with her handyman. I mean she could have picked someone with money at least.”

“I’m in need of a handyman, the plumbing needs looking at.”

She turns to Dave disgusted, “you never said you were having trouble with plumbing?”

“I’m not!”

“Yea we are, you wouldn’t be able to get the number of that handyman would you, the pipes could do with a good servicing.”

“We’ll dear I’m sure Dave is more than capable of looking at them himself, John will give him the tools he needs.”

“Oh I have all the tools I need mother and there in perfect working condition too.”

“Really? I haven’t seen any in a while.”

“Besides like I said nothing wrong.”

“Have you sent out the invitations darling?” Dave tenses and looks up at you but you stay quiet. You think I’m helping you with this, not a chance.

“Not yet mom, but we will this week I promise.”

“You better Dave or you won’t have any wedding guests.”

The drive home was tense. Who are you kidding it always is after spending any amount of time with that women.

“Why didn’t you say something to her?”

“Say what?”

“When she said I put on weight. You never stick up for me Dave I’m your bloody fiancé for Christ sake. Have I put on weight?”

He side eyes you and then turns his gaze back to the road.

“No!” Your perfect!

“Good.”

When he pulls into the drive you hop out and head straight to bed. Dave follows you into the house and sighs as you run up the stairs. Pinching the bridge of his nose he huffs out a breath and locks himself in his office. You can hear the lock click from your room and you fall into the bed, hurt. Guess he won’t be coming to bed again tonight.

Following up on the anon question about them being dads, IMO I feel like Pope would be the type of dad who would stay up all night working on school projects and coaching the kids soccer team. Will is the first person the kid goes to when they need advice or support. He would also 100% be the one to teach the kid basic life skills like riding a bike, first aid and changing a tyre. Benny would just be the fun dad who never says no and spoils his child endlessly and Frankie is the one who doesn’t believe they would make a good parent, but ends up being the one who reads the kid their bedtime stories and cuddles them until they fall asleep every night 🥰
