I do a summer rewatch of Stargirl every year, (usually in preparation for the next season but alas) and my favorite thing ever is just,, seeing different people react to it. Last year I watched it with two of my close friends, and they joked about it, enjoyed the experience, but very much treated it as something to sort of make memes out of. This year I'm watching it with my bf and he's very much like me, he's invested in the characters and the story, he gets attached, and it's like watching myself watching the show for the first time. It's so fun, I love watching my favorite silly little people get into my favorite silly little show and experience it in their own way idk
