Banana Angel

I recently discovered Sonny Angels and they're sooo cute! I had the sudden idea to draw a banana theme sonny; It doesn't quite fit the way the little hats are designed, but I wanted it to be a whole banana anyways. Something charming, yet absurd.

I briefly saw your recent sketch as I was heading out the door, without getting a chance to more closely look at the context. So I'm just out there the whole day on the slopes, wondering why Douman was haunting an Italian chef 😂

I didn’t think I’d get to see peppino and douman together again so soon & from someone that wasn’t me because of how silly the idea is — Super adorable art!!! Thank you!!! Douman making a eloquently put (in Italian no less! ) reservation request from a failing Italian business is .. something I can see happening 😂

I’m heading to work right now and the idea of a random skier bein like “huh I wonder what that was all about” while tackling slopes is super funny

I got a moment to watch anime and decided to see what the cooking show was all about and ended up binging it in two days. As I was going to bed the idea for these drawings came to me; It was fun to draw the party!

I've been wanting to add to my stormtroopers, but with a wintery theme. As a skier myself I definitely needed to draw them hitting the slopes! Shoutout to my younger bro who told me they have winter outfits!

You went to tour an apartment.

Even with the struggle of really bad artists block, I'm really happy I was able to finish a painting. This is a continuation of my liminal series of paintings. I was thinking of Level 94, but from the inside. Though I think it ended up leaning into the dreamcore genre. For some reason the scanner didn't register the last character in my signature. I'll have to look into that.

I didn't get the chance to put up the cover art for it because I was cramming to get the book in time for the convention, but here's the covers for the second Douman book! After a weeks worth of phone calls and driving to the UPS building I'm glad I was able to get it in time! Though now this means I need a third book so I can put Douman's third ascension on the cover, haha~

I'm not sure how I forgot all of these but here they are! To explain the last one, a while back I speculated that one of Douman's components as an Alter Ego was Hades. And that it would maybe be why he is in the Olympus chapter. And then Olympus hit the NA server and I was proven to be completely wrong, haha! The others are summery things and his outfit from one of the dreams.

I had an event recently and amidst my very terrible artists block, my goal for it was to at least make one painting and one fanart piece. I wanted to try out my new gouache set that my friend @siribunbun gifted me, and since she's a huge fan of Genshin Impact, I thought my first work with the set should be from that! I really vibe with this Neuvillette guy so I chose him.

I realized I didn't post the final front and back cover of my Douman book of sketches; This was a lot of fun to make! While the originals are spread across numerous sketchbooks, it's so cool and surreal to have your own works compiled into a printed book! I think now I ought to draw lots more Douman because it would be fun to have two more books that have the second and third ascension on the cover. Kind of like a little trilogy.
