[ PULL ]: sender takes the fallen receiver’s hands and carefully pulls them up so that they’re standing once more. ((I know it's supposed to be after action, but Consider Kuya and Haku literally running into each other outside Mei's office...))

It’s easy to let Kuya guard down so close to the Lady Mizukage’s office, where there’s no one who arches an eyebrow when she brings a particularly haggard plant from the brink. She can even ignore Ao’s nattering about the Bloody Mist days. Maybe being around the Lady Mizukage gives her strength, or a sense of comfort...

But all those thoughts ceased immediately when she barged into someone else, her glasses knocked askew before they fell off properly. She grasps the outstretched hand without thinking, allowing herself to be pulled up effortlessly. 

“Thank you...”

She takes a moment to look at the woman before her, shorter than she was but...she still managed to pull her up like it was nothing. Kuya couldn’t help but glance to the side, trying to compose herself. Easier said than done when she’d managed to fall flat on her ass. 

“I’d appreciate it if you didn’t mention that to anyone.”
