i've been playing a lot of hsr for the past. month.

ever since the luofu arc i think Dan Heng has actually become the most protective of the crew and thinks of them as family the most out of any of them, even TB or March

in penacony he was just SO stressed. tried to call up the whole luofu just to save them. he keeps talking about "his companions", and how he won't let harm come to them, and the amount of times he's pushed people out of the way or tried to take the hit for them? and in this new quest, him saying he'd die first instead of the trailblazer, and that he has people to get back to...

dan heng, the man that you are.

(he wanted SO badly to be loved, and now he is, and he protects it so hard.)

Autistic memeber of the Astral Express

[ PLATONIC HEADCANONS ] [ Pom Pom, Himeko, Welt, March, Dan Heng & the trailblazer ]

I want to make this some kind of tradition, having at least one fic with autistic reader for every fandom I write for! Request or original idea, it doesn't matter, the important is bring cute fics and comfort!!

Hope you enjoy it and feel the inmense love and comfort Moonie is expressing for you, dear reader ❤️❤️

The astral express is constantly reciving people from the whole galaxy, everyone is welcome to the visit the astral express, and just like that everyone is more than welcome to joing the nameless and travel across the universe, helping people in need

Everyone has a past and a reason to why they choose to follow their own path, and thats is respected in the astral express, they aren't bothered by it in the slighest (and even if you prefer to don't say anything about it its okay too), once you decided to join the crew you imediatly become part of the family and are accepted as such

It will be quite helpful if you are sincere and tell them about your condition, or at least one of the crew, that way they will be able to help you feel more comfortable and adapt what it is need to adapt to bring you comfort, no one in the crew will be disrespectful or think less of you (in fact, every one is more than willing to share some words of comfort if you feel insecure or even bad for your disability)

Pom Pom as the driver of the astral express he end up taking the charge of taking care of the crew (and visitors) while your stay on the train, so that is why at the end, once you joined the nameless was him who directly approached to you and ask you if there were something you needed to feel more comfortable, inisiting that there is no need to be shy, you are free to talk to him if you need anything. As well, since Pom Pom is the once who is in charge to cook (not that it bothers him, he does it with joy) he will ask you at some point if you have any preferences or even what is what you like the most when it comes to food (at the end Pom Pom will learn how to make your comfort food just the way you like it! and he actually feels quite proud of himself for that)

If changes tend to cause you distress the constantly traveling around the galaxy and constantly visiting all kind of worlds can not be the best for you, however to help you with that Himeko always make sure to take time before the jump to tell you about your next destination, telling you all the details she can in hopes to help you feel less anxious and stress by the new enviroment, as well with knowing the name of the planet you can easily search for more information in the data bank that the train owns (and since Dan Heng is always there he is more than willing to help you search the information you need)

As well, if you feel that there is something in the enviroment of your next destination that you may not be able to handle too well then you can just stay on the train while the rest of the crew take care of the problem, besides it is helpful if someone stays on the train (and if you decide to stay on the train March promise to take a lot of photos just for you and will try to bring you and Pom Pom a souvenier)

Even when you have a disability no one in the astral express will look down or think less of you, in fact all of them will try to learn about your disability and how it affects you to be able to offer the help you need, and they always does. Himeko is the best to bring comfort or help you understand things you struggle with, as well she can show you around the train and teach you how it works if you really want to know, Welt is also really good with comfort but more indirectly, making sure you never forget how apreciate you are by everyone (and not only in the astral express)

March will be the one who has more problems with adapting to your condition because she is really clingy and loud, she loves dragging you to what she is up to because she consider you as a really good friend is her way to show you how much she likes you, that is why she has to be reminded constantly to respect your space and to don't be too loud or touchy, either by you or the rest of the crew. Is probably that more than once she have trigger you and made you upsed (or even made your body hurt due the overestimulation), but that has never being her intention and she always try to make it up for you

Dan Heng is the one who is more quickly to adapt to your needs, he respects a lot your condition and always make it clear, even if he has never being too expressive you can tell by his actions how much he loves and cares for the astral express crew, including you, you can notice the little hints of him making sure there is nothing that could trigger discomfort or distress on you or quietly checking on you whenever you are spending time together, it isn't that he underestimated you but he does worry for you. Also, he has never have problems with people coming to the archives (even if it kinda is his room), so if you it brings you comfort the quiet and peaceful atmosphere of that room you are more than welcome to go whenever you want

Despite having a lot of knowledge due Kafka's helps, after their memories being eraised the trailblazer is now more like a newborn and everything is quite new, so they has to take some time to adapt and properly learn how to treat you to don't make you upset or bring you discomfort by accident, not that they thinks that your disability is a problem, is just that they don't want to bring you troubles, although, for them it won't be as dificult to adapt as it is for March and once they do and finally feels comfortable (knowing that they won't make you feel uncomfortable neither) they just become a great friend and a little bit protective over you too

Mornings with them

What are mornings like with them? Do they sleep in? Are they early risers? When they wake up, how long does it take them to get out of bed? Are they grumpy waking up or playful? Only you know the answer

March 7th:

March is definitely not an early riser

she will stay in bed as long as possible with you all cuddled up under the covers

even if she wakes up before you, she will just cuddle closer up to you before falling back asleep

you have to be the one to tell her to get out of bed

once you do, she knows it's time to get up for real

...but she's very slow to rise

for someone so energetic during the day, she's very slow and quieter in the mornings

almost like she's walking around half asleep for the first hour

she's also very clingy in the mornings

Dan Heng:

not really an early riser, not really one to sleep in late either

it's honestly up to fate which one of you wakes up first

but him and his bed is so warm and comfortable

he doesn't really cling to you like March does, but he lightly has one or both of his arms very lightly wrapped around you

Dan Heng loves to stay in bed with you for a little while before getting up

he spends most of this time just admiring you and thinking about the day ahead

if you have to get up for anything, you'll never be late this man is your personal alarm clock

he will drag you out of bed if he has too

Caelus:

he loves to sleep in with you!

seriously, you have to be the one to get up first or else you two will never get out of bed

he's such a cuddle bug too

he won't let you go in the mornings for real like he is wrapped around you

you have to pry him off if you want to get up

there's a good chance you will always wake up first

waking him up is a nightmare too like he just keeps falling asleep again and again

but when you two do get up, he can be very cuddly and will travel with you in the mornings to go get breakfast

(he'd even carry you if you asked)

Welt:

the earliest riser

what can I say? it's an old man trait

he wakes up around 5-6 in the morning

whenever Welt wakes up he always tries to avoid waking you up too

like he moves so slowly and stays as quiet as possible

still, he always spends a few moments in bed when he wakes up to admire your beauty and appreciate you

he'll place a gentle kiss on your forehead before he fully gets up

when he comes back later to wake you, he usually brings you a drink to help wake you

he's so gentle in the way he wakes you up because he's stroking your hair, giving you light kisses, and softly calling your name

Himeko:

another early riser!

she's usually up before most of the others, but she demands peace when it's early

she can get grumpy if things are too loud so early or chaotic before she's had her coffee

speaking of coffee, she will make you a cup every morning!

after she spends her time going through her morning routine and getting ready for the day, she'll wake you up

she'll help get you out of bed (she can be forceful if she needs)

Himeko insists on brushing your hair in the mornings because it's such a soft moment and it's a nice way to show her love so early

Pom-Pom:

Pom-Pom has to wake up early so they can get to work as the conductor

but if they didn't have that responsibility, you bet they would be sleeping in late

each morning they're super cuddly until they fully wake up

once they are fully woken up, they will deny being so cuddly and how cute they were during it

you get the special Pom-Pom treatment!

basically, no one is allowed to wake you and you get brought a nice breakfast! Conductor's orders!

Pet! SAHSR (Self Aware Honkai Star Rail) AU

Notes: reverse isekai, characters turn into animals, Astral Express Crew, Caelus and Stelle are twins, kind of Cult! AU?

Dutch Rabbit! Pom Pom who pretends that they don't like being petted. They don't look at you when you pet them, opting to stare at random things around them, but they move towards you slowly and secretly, a few steps at a time. They nuzzle into your palm but pretend that they didn't afterwards by ignoring you multiple times when you call their name. Pom Pom does try to nip at your fingers if you ruffle their fur too often, thinking that you're trying to mess up their soft fur. If Pom Pom is feeling particularly friendly on some days, they might even let you hold them for hours (they usually lie still in your arms for about 5 minutes before squirming to get away). March will start complaining and pawing at your arm though, as it's her spot on other days.

Cocker Spaniel! March 7th who loves following you around your house. She's quite energetic, often bringing her toys to you, pleading for you to play with her through her gaze. You do play with her, but it's impossible to do so every 10 minutes, what with your work and everyday duties. March gets bored when you can't play with her, lying on the floor and looking here and there for something else to play with (that isn't her toys). Don't be surprised when you return to the living room and find your bags turned inside out, belongings undamaged but strewn across the floor, Himeko picking them up and piling them together for you. March wants you to think of it as revenge for not playing with her (>:3).

Siberian cat! Dan Heng who prefers resting on cat trees than interacting with the others. He'll swipe a paw at anyone (except you) who dares invade his personal space, though he acts more lenient towards the other pets. He watches you from his special spot on the cat tree every time you walk around the house doing chores or just going from one room to another. Sometimes Dan Heng does follow you just like March, but if you tell him that he's practically tripping you every step you take, he quietly leaves and goes back to his spot. If March is following you as well, Dan Heng will paw at her back, telling her to follow him to the living room. He'll ask for help from Welt if she doesn't listen.

Maine Coon! Himeko who's just like the mom of the group. She's mostly calm, but will gently nip at the younger pets' ears or swipe a paw at them - claws retracted, of course - if they misbehave. Himeko likes it when you brush her fur. Eight to nine out of ten times she falls asleep when you do so. She has to have her fur brushed weekly if not daily - she'll bring her comb to you and purr to let you know. Himeko will curl up next to you if you let her sleep on your bed, guarding you throughout the night, nuzzling against you when you wake up screaming (or not) from nightmares.

Bernese Mountain Dog! Welt who's really calm and quiet. He rests his snout on the edge of your bed each morning so the first thing you see when you wake is a pair of honey-coloured eyes staring right back at you. Please pat his snout as a good morning; he'll feel so happy if you do! As mentioned above, Dan Heng asks Welt for help when March insists on running in circles around you: he picks her up by the scruff and takes her away. Welt likes to accompany you on walks at night, treasuring the precious time he gets to spend with you. There's this one time when you took a photo with Welt and put a pair of toy glasses on his snout. He seemed to love those glasses a lot after that.

Raccoons! Caelus and Stelle who are disappointed that they can't go dumpster diving in your house. You can't have garbage strewn around your house, after all. You caught them red-handed during their first few attempts after arriving at your house. When you leave your house, they'll try to dig through the trash cans again. March and Dan Heng try to stop them, with March tugging on Stelle's tail with her mouth and Dan Heng standing on his hind legs, trying to pry Caelus off the can. Eventually you prepared a huge box for the troublemaker twins and hid new toys or snacks in it, underneath old clothes and colourful, hollow plastic balls. That seemed to satisfy their interest in dumpster diving, albeit briefly. Caelus and Stelle still try to climb into trash cans whenever they go on walks with you.

Even though Pom Pom was a rabbit, Dan Heng and Himeko were cats, Welt and March were dogs, and Caelus as well as Stelle were raccoons, they often stuck together like a family. Pom Pom likes to make Welt's back their personal couch. Welt won't move at all unless you pick up Pom Pom or Pom Pom climbs off his back. Himeko plays with March to distract her from turning your house upside down when you're busy. Caelus, Stelle and Dan Heng lie in a cuddle pile during naps. Sometimes March, Himeko, Welt and Pom Pom join them too. You're quite puzzled as to why they love each other dearly, but hey, it's nice to see them acting like family, no?
