i feel like any sort of "discourse" post should come with like a pop-up window on like what the context it was made in is because the last days i saw a LOT of posts about like whether or not detransitioners are valid or not and no context on whether or not this was spurred on by a big(-ish) tumblr account within a certain circle revealing herself to be deep into detrans radfem bullshit

#i think if you believe that aligning yourself with/being neutral towards radfems in the current political climate towards trans ppl is #somehow value neutral you are either stupid or willfully ignorant #and like if your response to seeing THAT is to go ''detransitioned trans ppl are valid'' then like.#frankly so are you. like these statements don't just exist without the context they were made in?#HOW are we defining detransitioning even in this context. i feel like medically its frequently just defined as ''no longer on hrt''#but i think socially it can mean smth different. like is it an action or an identity? sorry im going off topic #transphobia cw //#discourse cw //#*makes post on mostly rb-only tumblr account*#*its this*
