Here’s what I wrote down for the Philm Club liveshow this week! I’m so happy I could actually participate this time, as I was busy last week. This was suchhh a good liveshow omg, so many iconic moments!! For some reason I forgot to take any notes until like the second half, so enjoy my notes from then til the end!

Bake off! I looked it up and this was the season that Nadiya won, Dan is sooo right about rooting for her, and yeah her speech made me cry too

Tabinof face bit was so cute! Them helping each other line it up right!, they’re clearly so proud of Tabinof and it’s really sweet

Get over it: this iconic moment!! Dan’s immediately so defensive, Was there a reason for that or was he just very adamant about Phil getting the drinks he wanted

Chat saying “with my…” and dnp filling in random things, they’re so silly

Random xd 11 year old insults, THEYRE SO CUTE

Them talking about all the current music/movies/shows that would be so fun to hear now

They got their own chair colours awww cuties, I wonder if they designed the quiz to get own chairs

Phil snuck a Phil and Dan into the chair quiz, Dan didn’t notice, CUTEEEE

Part of the black chair’s (which Dan got) desc was: you’re probably hiding a huge secret but can’t tell anyone as you are a chair, Dannn 😭😭🫂

Them loving the audience singing the preshow playlist, they love their viewers so much, the energy of the room, this really hits because like for the TIT shows I went to it really was so special to be in there before the show singing and being excited with everyone 🥰 like the energy was sooo good

Talking about Tabinof being number one in Uk, Dan said “it’s one of those things…suddenly parents care,” is he speaking from his own experience? 😢

Phil said he was gonna cook dinner? Was he actually orrr just order something, did they used to cook more than they do now?

My mom says Phil looks like he has a headache

“You need to accept me for who I am” (dan after Phil mocked his hands and what he said) 😭😭

They really were doing so much during this time wow, they talked about doing soooo many projects and videos and tour stuff and live tv, no wonder they were tired! Take a break bbies!!

Anyway that’s all I wrote down! Sorry for yapping so much haha 😂! This was so funnn!

first of, if you were going by actually ukrainian names their names would be polina (polya) and ivan (vanya) but i think their names just spelt in the ukrainian alphabet are also gorgeous so here is a look at both of those;

pandora would SO wear vyshyvanka all the time, she’d like love wearing the traditional clothing so much

i headcanon evan as really enjoying cooking so just imaging him cooking varenyky and borsch and syrnyky and other ukrainian foods fits so well in my mind; his favourite would be cherry varenyky

pandora would ADORE vivienne mort’s music, she’d listen to them as if they was the only band ever. she’d also listen to anastymoza, go_a, schmalgauzen, okean elzy, flëur, and livingston; evan would love sadsvit, sad novelist, zhadan i sobaky, xarakter, valentyn strykalo, and skryabin

they’re ukrainian on their mother’s side and she’s from uzhhorod. her name is nadiya (надія) which means hope in the ukrainian language

Week 3 - Strictly

Judi & Graziano - great choice for her, character work was marvellous, lacked swivel at times, very light on her feet.

Dan & Nadiya - A bit lazy, practically walked through it, alright posture, just not his best today.

Sara & Aljaž - Spot on samba rhythm, bouncy, costume hid a lot of the hip action but what was there was excellent (maybe try to ‘extreme’ it so it stands out), fun and she’s finally letting go!

Aj & Kai - connection with kai and the character was *mwah*, smooth and sophisticated, lift mount and dismount i loved, proud of the fleckle, perfect heel ball flat for a 10.

Robert & Dianne - bit messy at times but thats the muppets, lovely timing, energy gave great speed in the first two thirds.

Greg & Karen - Captured the essence of bond, close your fingers a bit, Karen was amazingly used as a cape, looked a bit awkward rather than strong.

Tilly & Nikita - Few mistakes but recovered well, good retraction in the kicks and personality shone through, needs to work to energy levels.

Rose & Giovanni - A-MAZ-ING, beautiful technique, simple and effective, body contact was 👍🏻

Ugo & Oti - sure he did his daughters proud, fabulous timing, loved the lists, great character work, moana is so good.

Tom & Amy - the retraction 🥰 i love it, straighten your feet in the mouche, energy was on another level, so glad they are back!!

Adam & katya - great hip action but needs to be full body (that will make it less awkward), storytelling did well, connected well, strong lead.

Katie & Gorka - push the feet more into the floor, played the character well, great performance, lovely out of hold, GORKA PLEASE MARRY ME!

Rhys & Nancy - Easily my favourite dance of the night, soooo in sync, full of energy, accents were perfect, definitely his style, 10 was well deserved

John & Johannes - STRONG! fabulous shaping, covered the floor well, looked professional, costume choice with the long backs was underrated.

Overall, the level has been raised! good luck next week all.
