He decided he needed a different outlet, entertain himself in a guilty pleasure outside the comfort of his four walls that echoed loudly of his past actions, reminders he couldn't bare to see much longer.

Once he left the sanction of his palace and crossed the threshold back into the reality of Hell, the King allowed himself a deep breath of air; thankfully compared to Greed, the air in Pride wasn't nearly as bad. But what shook him from his musings, his sudden good graces, was the chaos unfolding in the ring. His lips meshed into a thin line.
