What is Wukong's favorite part about Dusk? Is it the ears?

"I mean, his ears are absolutely adorable and honestly gorgeous, one of my favorite features for sure...but that's not the sole reason I adore him."

It wasn't like it was a secret either, he adored Dusk's ears — they were stunning and so unique. They absolutely memorized him whenever he got the chance to see them out in their full-glory. Every time felt like the first time they had graced his sight with their presences and he held each one near and dear to his stone heart. Wanting the starborn to know that his ears were the most beautiful thing in the universe to him.

Still, that wasn't the only feature he adored about the other simian. Oh no, that was just one of millions that made him love and adore the one who was his heart and soul. His everything. One that understood him better than anyone else — his other half. He was always complete, but with Dusk? He felt even more so much more whole than ever. Even all his past accomplishments paled in comparison to the love he felt for his beloved starlight. No, being able to be with him even after everything THAT was his greatest accomplishment and he cherished it like it was the most sacred treasure in all the universe. It was to him.

"I could go on and on for hours what my favorite thing about Dusk is, from the way his ears twitch when he concentrates on a sound, to his scowls, to his determination — there's so much to love. I can't just choose one thing, he's all amazing and wonderful after all."

" — but if I had to say which was my favorite...it would be his heart and soul just shine so brilliantly at times like the stars above. That he has continued to shine and never let it fade, even during times it's been hard or difficult."

That fierceness, that determination, that drive — it never ceased to amaze him. Even after everything, the good and the bad that had happened to him that the shadow weilder never gave up. He struggled sure and had his moments but he still came back after that.

A small smile, wondering how he got so lucky that he was allowed this happiness — to be able to be with him like this and call him his beloved. Did he deserve it? He sometimes wondered if he did. Still, he cherished and held onto that sacred bond they had made together.
