First kisses
Rafe cameron x overlooked!reader
Tumblr media
When he invited you over you were expecting a town house maybe, or an apartment. Just something smaller than this. He told you he lived alone, which meant a nineteen year old rafe Cameron owned this.
He told you he’d “swing by” after golf to pick you up, so now you were following after him as he swung his keys, leading you through the front door.
“All of this is yours?” You said, your mouth gaping accidentally. It had been four days since your date, and you for some reason missed rafe terribly.
“Ah yeah, kinda lonely sometimes but…. Not really here much so..” he rubbed his hand over his mouth. casually opening doors for you, only for you to wait for him to also come through the door so you were following him again.
“Hmmm it’s nice” you smiled up at him, and for some weird reason he took your smile as an invitation to hold your hand. So now he was holding your hand, leading you to the sliding glass doors that lead to his pool. “Glad you think so” he winked and your head span in the other direction quickly to hide the flush.
“You brought your bikini right? Or not bikini- your swimming costume or- whatever the fuck yo-” he stumbled over his words “uh huh I did” you smiled again, interrupting him, something he usually didn’t like, but he smiled.
“I actually saw ward and rose and wheezie at the club yesterday, I was wondering if you were with them” you sat on the beach chair next to rafes, stating the sentence you rehearsed in your mirror countless times, as a conversation starter.
“Well no, I was working yesterday so I opted out, only really see them at the weekend for barbecues now that I moved out” he dragged your beach chair closer, a makeshift beach bed, you lifted your legs, lying down and resting your hands on your stomach.
“How come you move out so early, seems so scary” you stared up at him as he adjusted the towel above you.
“S’not really, needed independence. I mean I love dad and rose, and my sisters but just prefer this” he shrugged, and when he laid down his more muscley arm brushed against yours.
“You like it all by yourself?” You pouted, although he couldn’t see when he laid next to you. You turned on your side so you felt like you were talking to him, so you could remember what it feels like later.
He sighed deeply “never said that, just….” His head shifted to turn to meet yours. You knew what he meant. You silently looked at each other until you spoke in a quiet whisper “why’d you call rose, rose not mom?”
“Shit i did, huh? Well rose isn’t my mom” you frowned in confusion.
“She’s not?” You’re surprised you didn’t know this, your mom knew the Camerons well, but she never mentioned that.
“No, ah mom died when I was small” you accidentally gasped, death stirring an odd reaction out of you always.
“M’sorry rafe” you reached out for him, and rested your hand on his which he just chuckled at, lifting his arm up for you, tucking you under.
“Watcha sorry for baby?” So casually he name dropped baby. You shook your head wanting to giggle and scream and not be as red as you were right now. You wondered what he thought of you. He had to have a romantic intentions if he was calling you baby.
“Nothing” you went quiet, so close to rafe, your head almost laying on his chest, being able to hear and feel his heartbeat.
“You should come” your head lifted, to gift a puzzled look “to a barbecue, meet my family” he nodded, trying to convince you.
“No no, I don’t think so..” your head flopped back down to rest on the skin lower than his shoulders.
“It’ll be fun. I mean dad usually has his brother and my cousins, Sarah brings John b, wheezie almost always has friends over. You can just stick by my side, it’s no pressure” his hand was stroking over your waist comfortingly and you softly shook your head again.
“Not good with people rafe” you murmured at the embarrassing fact. Refusing to look him in the eyes.
“S’not true, you’re good with me” you could hear the smile in his voice, and he could hear the nervousness in yours. He pinched your hip making you squeal, followed by a panting giggle as you tried to playfully push him, rafe not budging an inch.
“Move rafe!” You closed your eyes, pushing harder until he was lifting himself up, his hands reaching for your face, and kissing you.
It took you a few seconds to kiss him back, your first kiss, you weren’t sure what to do else than mirror rafes movements. His hands were in the chub of your hips, kneading your skin soothingly.
He was kissing you so delicately, painfully slow, so slow that you whispered a moan into his mouth. He pulled back, you staring at him, kissing your own lips inwards at the strange swelling feeling, a small giggle escaping your lips as you looked down at your fingers sitting in between your crossed legs, feeling silly.
“Thanks rafe” you whispered, still giggling at a tiny volume.
“Don’t thank me for kissing you” he smiled downwards, laughing too quietly. Doing everything to make sure you were comfortable and weren’t gonna run from him.
You leant over the deck chair to peck his lips once more before returning back to your chair. He smiled at your frantic sweet mannerisms, needing to desperately cool down in the pool.

NATIONAL ANTHEM- P.B PARKER
Pairing- Rich! Peter x Country Club! Fem! Reader
Word Count: 4.2k
Summary: You work at the local country club as a barcart girl and you run into your crush, aka the son of the richest man in town-Peter Parker. Simple flirting becomes something... more.
Warnings: Making out, suggestive sexual content, dry humping, teasing, swearing, drinking :)
i'm your national anthem, god, you're so handsome- take me to the hamptons, bugatti veyron... he loves to romance 'em, reckless abandon, holding me for ransom, upper echelon -national anthem, lana del rey
Tumblr media
Money is the anthem, of success- so before we go out- what’s your address? You hummed along to the sweet melody as it trickled out of the old stereo from your cart, speakers crackling slightly.
It was a hot summers day, you felt a little bead of sweat drip down the back of your neck as you breathed in the fresh air, smelling of fresh cut grass and fancy colone. It was days like this when you were most busy on the golf course, barley able to squeeze in a lunch break before someone came up to you, begging for a whisky sour.
But today you had tucked yourself away in a little hidden spot, a perfect view of scenery, the green hills stretching on for miles.
Sipping on a sweet ice tea from your straw you fiddled with, you watched as Peter Parker braced himself before swinging, club hitting the ball with a clean wack! before thudding down near the hole.
The wind rustled the flag and the fabric of his polo shirt, hair ruffled under his baseball cap.
You tried not to stare but it was impossible.
The way he smiled was intoxicating, and the way he laughed at his friends jokes… god you hoped to make him laugh like that someday.
Though he was almost four years older, the two of you had met during your freshman year of university. You weren’t close, but you werent strangers either. The odd hello was said, a smile and a passing glance in the library from his books.
Now you were practically about to graduate and he was working on his masters, his school out of state. He was home for the summer though, which was nice.
It just meant you could possibly serve him, which also made you anxious beyond belief because that meant you had to talk to him again. You took a bigger sip until you heard the straw suck up the bottom of the glass and the melting ice to ease your butterflies.
Wind in my hair, hand on the back of my neck- I said can we party later on he said yes, yes, yes!
Another deep breath.
He walked in your general direction, but you doubted he could see you. You prayed the low hanging branches covered you, or at least your face. You tried to look out at the rolling hills in the distance, admiring the scenery.
It was very out of your element, but you couldn’t deny the fact it was beautiful here. The ever so fancy country club estate glimmered in the sun, tall hedges trimmed to perfection with roses blooming in the gardens.
You could just see the tall fountain spilling water down, next to the tennis court. Sometimes you worked the bar there, or handed out water and towels, but you preferred being a cart girl.
It made your life much more interesting, to drive around and to see more people. Today you got to see your favourite person.
And apparently he got to see you.
The branches rustled and got pulled to the side, a buff, 6’4 man staring down at you. “Hey sorry, am I bothering you?”
You almost choked on your straw as you bite down on it. “No, no sorry I was just on my break. But how can I help you?”
“Oh shit my bad, I’ll leave you to it-“ He went to turn away, then stopped. Whipped back around.
“Wait- Y/N? Is that you?” Your heart skipped a beat.
“Yeah hey Peter.” you smiled.
“Jeez it’s been a while! I missed seeing you around. How’s life been?”
He missed you?! No, he missed seeing you. That’s different. Get a fucking grip woman.
“I missed you too! Or- wait erm… It’s been good! How’s life at Warner?”
His eyes brightened as you stumbled over your words, pleased you remembered where he was.
“It’s good. Super good. Lots of sunshine, and I’ve made some friends.”
“Not failing anything I hope?” you teased and he laughed.
“No, no I would never. But it’s good to be home for the summer. How’s your program going?” he asked, taking off his hat to run a hand through his messy hair, slicking it back from falling back into his eyes.
You tried not to stare at his arms but it was deemed impossible. His shirt fit him so well, his biceps strained in the fabric as they curled, and you could see whispers of a tattoo on his one arm. Jesus Christ.
“Super good. Almost finished, actually. Not sure what’s next, but working here has helped pay for most of it.”
“That’s awesome, you should be so proud. You’re a hard worker Y/N, seriously. You’ve always been.”
You almost melted at his praise, sinking deep into your seat as your tennis skirt fanned out across your thighs. There was no way he didn’t know about the effect he had on you. He had to know he drove you crazy.
“Thank you so much Peter. It means a lot coming from you.” You beamed.
“Awh shucks. Well anyways, I just came because I saw a cart over here and was going to snag a drink, but if you’re on break I won’t bother you.”
“No, no don’t be silly. What can I get you?” you scrambled up, popping open your cooler filled with ice and drinks. “You’re sure?” he asked, standing closer to you, to see what you had.
You squirmed, shivering even though there was no breeze. “Of course. I’m practically done it anyways. Happy to help.” you smiled, trying your very best to be professional and not look at him like you wanted to rip his clothes off at this very second.
“Just a Heineken please doll.” The pet name was going to make you spirial. Jesus. “That’s all?”
“That’s all. I’m easy like that.” You grabbed a cup, scooping ice before pouring the chilled beer. “Here. It’s on the house.” you handed it to him, setting down the empty glass. He shook his head, fishing into his pocket.
“Don’t be silly. Here-“ he handed you a hundred and your eyes widened in surprise and shock.
“For your troubles.” he smirked. “Peter- I can’t, I can’t take this.”
“Then take this too.” He pulled out a tiny slip of paper, crumped as if it had been in his pocket for some time. You opened it, revealing his phone number in fancy writing- the cursive that reminded you of your grandmothers. A little smiley face was printed next to it, which you mirrored back.
“Have you just had this in your pocket in case you bump into a girl?” you asked, laughing.
“I found out you worked here and I wrote it down, waiting until I had an excuse to bump into you. Now I have one.” he winked, lifted his glass in a cheers motion before turning around, emerging from the forest to jog up to his friends.
You watched him in disbelief, jaw slack on the ground. You fought to pick it back up, trying to not crumple the paper anymore as you held onto it for dear life. A wave of giddiness washed over you, your body hot to the touch, head spinning. Clutching the paper to your chest, you sighed.
Simply hoping something would actually come out of this.
For once in your life.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Something was coming out of this. Key word, was. Lines were blurred, and you weren’t sure if it was currently happening, could’ve happened, or had happened.
It had been a week since the original occurrence, when he had you nearly swooning and begging at his feet. Each day was a little game the two of you played, who could spy on each other first.
It had you picking up extra shifts, just to possibly see him that day, or for longer. The past few days you had worked at the bar by the tennis court, watching the ball bounce back and forth until a familiar face found his way to your bar, despite the fact he was on the opposite side of the property, and had bar carts at his disposal.
It made you feel like a teenage girl again, kicking your feet at the slightest interaction. If he wasn’t at your bar, he had found time to walk past your station (which was always very much out of his way), just to give a little wave, or to check up on you.
A few little texts had been exchanged, nothing more then simple, harmless flirting. That’s what you were telling yourself, and that was the story you were sticking to. Nothing more then that. So whenever he came over to fiddle with the straws, or suck the lemon wedge dry without making a face just to prove he could, you smooshed the feelings of need deep down, as much as you could.
Today was no different.
It was hot, one of the hottest days of the summer. You fanned yourself with a clipboard, thankful for the first time you were working in the bar by the tennis court, where it was air conditioned.
You didn’t understand how people could continue to play as if their life depended on it in the hot, beating sun. It was torturous to watch. You were extremely busy, barley getting a moment to sit down and rest your poor, aching feet- dozens of people swarming the bar for a cool drink.
Ice had to be refilled two times already, and you presumed it would be another two times before your shift was over.
“Busy there eh?” a familiar voice called from across the counter, and for the first time all day you were genuinely happy to serve someone.
“You again! It’s almost like you’re stalking me, or something.” you teased, quickly dropping everything you were doing to go over to see him.
“Something like that. Hey listen, I have a question to ask you.”
“It wasn’t me. I didn’t do it, I swear. The cops have nothing on me.” His eyes widened in mock surpise and his hands went up in surrender.
“Woah. Jeez, I’ll let them know. I have no idea how you found out I was working for them but I guess my disguise is shit.”
“It is shit. I’ve been keeping tabs on you to give you tips on how to be more discreet.” He laughed, swatting you with a straw he grabbed.
“No seriously, my parents are out of town and I was going to throw a party, but I won’t unless you come to it.”
“Well shit, that’s a lot of pressure. You’re basing this whole thing on me going, so if I don’t go everyone will be disappointed at me for cancelling it?” you teased, grabbing the ingredients to make his usual.
“Ha ha. Very funny. You know I don’t mean it like that. But I’d like you to come, it wouldn’t be the same without you there.”
“I don’t really socialize, so I’m sure no one would miss me. Plus, no one knows me.”
“I know you. And I would miss you, and you’re the only person I care about in terms of showing up.”
You smiled softly as his confession, trying to play it cool despite the fact your stomach was currently doing cartwheels. You didn’t even know if you were making his drink right, you prayed muscle memory would save you this time.
“You’d miss me? You just wanna talk to me more, do you like me or something?”
“Or something.” he smirked, smacking a twenty on the table, and you didn’t even bother to give him back his change. He refused to accept it back, you had already tried.
“Thanks for the drink sweetcheeks. It’s on Friday, and if you don’t show I’m gonna call the whole thing off, mid party and then everyone’s gonna be pissed at you.”
“Or at you for making up that stupid rule.” you snarked, sliding him over his glass, and grabbing a clean towel to wipe down your space. You could already feel two peoples eyes on you, waiting for a drink. They could wait a little longer.
“Show up then.” he shrugged. “But wait, I don’t even have your address-“ you called after him as he walked towards the exit, back towards to the heat and blinding sun. He waved his phone, without even looking back.
“Good thing we have these then eh sweets?”
“Smartass.” you grumbled under your breath as his laughed, and you watched the door swing behind him as you were stuck behind the bar.
“What can I get you?” you asked the stranger sitting near you, wishing more then anything it was Peter still there instead.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
He was massive. Wait no- sorry, his house was massive. (Did you seriously think you’d jump the gun that quickly? Get over yourself).
You stared up at it as you emerged from your car, so out of place in this fancy establishment. He lived not only in a gated community but his property was privately gated as well.
Didn’t shock you.
You knew his family was rich, but jesus you didn’t know this rich. Dozens of cars were parked, all range rovers and catialcs as you locked your simple looking black civic.
Oh well. He invited me after all.
You belonged here. You were allowed to be here, no matter how many second thoughts you had looking at the fancy fountain, the perfectly manicured lawn and ferns, a perfect cone shape as they lead up to the massive pillars and white staircase.
You had dealt with snobby rich people before at your job, and you could do it again. Not that Peter was snobby in any way. If anything, he was one of the only ones you knew who was humble and down to earth. Hopefully his friends would be the same.
You smoothed out your mini dress, attempting to get rid of the wrinkles. Nervous, you figited with the pearls on your neck, listening to your heels clack on the pavement before you found yourself up the stairs.
You heard music, but it wasn’t as loud as you expected. No thumping floors or shaking walls, and you couldn’t see any flashing lights. You weren’t even sure what you expected. But it certainly wasn’t this. This seemed oddly calm. You could still clearly hear the cicadas as they chirped outside under the stars.
You lifted your hand to knock, and the double doors swung open as your hand was mid air, mouth opening in confusion.
“You’re not Peter.”
“So you’re observant too. You’re prettier then he described you. He’s been watching out the window for you like he’s on guard duty.”
“Bucky stop flirting with my girl!” a voice called from the other room, and you watched as Peter emerged from the other room, jogging over to you with a smile.
My girl? You fought a smile, trying to pretend his words meant nothing but you lost. Bad.
“Hi. Sorry I was just-“
“Waiting for me. I heard from your friend here. It’s nice to meet you Bucky.” you nodded, laughing as Peter’s cheeks turned a lighter of light pink.
“Likewise. Go into greater detail next time Parker.”
“No, because then you dicks will try to steal her.”
Bucky laughed, walking back in the direction Peter came from, which you assumed was where the main party was. You looked around, surveying the massive foyer- tall pillars also inside, bright chandeliers glistening over the towering staircase.
It was beautiful. You couldn’t help but admire the mural on the ceiling, mimicking a Renaissance style piece.
“Thank you for inviting me.”
“Thank you for coming. You look beautiful, by the way. I mean you always do- but you look amazing now. Sorry I’m not sure why I’m rambling, I just smoked a joint and I’m nervous.” he trailed on and you laughed, reaching up to touch his bicep in reassurance.
You weren’t sure where the confidence came from, but you were happy about it. His skin was soft and warm, and he leaned into your touch.
“Don’t be nervous. If anything, I’m nervous. This is your party! And it’s so- wow.” you breathed, looking up again at the fresco.
“Everyone’s so excited to meet you. You’ve already met Bucky, I see.”
You giggled. “Hopefully they all like me. Are they friends from school?”
“Some from school, some from home, some from the country club.”
“Ah I see. So a wide variety.”
“Something like that.” he smirked, placing a hand on your lower back as he guided you towards a mysterious hallway. The hand placement. Oh my god the hand placement. You savoured his touch as he guided you, looking up at him despite wearing heels.
Somehow he still towered over you. It made you feel things.
You heard bustle from the room he was guiding you towards, the sound of music leading you onwards. Dozens of people mingled around what looked like a game room. Some lounged on leather couches with drinks in their hands, others playing a round of pool.
You saw Bucky and some others with a deck of cards, others at the bar top. It was spacious, detailed wood panels across the ceiling, with soft lights mounted on the walls, creating a glow. You admired the dozens of paintings perched on the walls, staring at Peter in amazement.
“It’s beautiful here.”
“Thanks.” he smiled, taking it in with you, as if he didn’t see this every day. It made you like him even more somehow, if that was possible.
“Hey everyone this is Y/N. Party is no longer threatened to get cancelled. You’re welcome.” he called out, and everyone cheered.
“To Y/N” Bucky called out in toast, raising his glass. They didn’t even use solo cups. This shit was fancy as fuck.
You laughed, waving to everyone before Peter pulled you aside, the music picking up its tempo as the chatter resumed. “Can I get you a drink? For once?” he asked, and you nodded- following him over to the bar.
“It’s nice to see you behind the counter for once.” you smirked, giggling as he whipped a towel over his shoulder like a real bartender. “What do you mean for once? I will let you know that I am the most prestigious bartender in France. They don’t even call me a bartender, the call me “tender of the bar” " he drawled.
“Just a cider please. I’m easy like that.”
He sighed in relief. “Thank god. I don’t know how to make anything but a whisky sour.”
“Hey, that's a start!” you smiled, watching as he grabbed a chilled glass and slid ice in it, before pouring your drink from the can. “Madame.”
“Thank you, monsior. Mmmm fantastic. You should work with me!” He snorted, throwing the towel down. “They would fire me before I could pick up a glass. You’re too talented, you'd outshine me. You already do.”
“Do not.”
“Do too.”
“You’re being silly.”
“Silly is my middle name.”
“I thought handsome was your middle name?”
“Alright woah now-“
----------------------------------------------------------------- A few hours had passed, and the night was still young. You were drunk, a little- and your shoes had come off. You didn’t know where they went, or where your phone was, or why you were outside with Peter.
But you were outside with Peter. And it was nice.
The air was chill against your skin, but not cold enough you had goosebumps. It was soft against your flushed skin from the alcohol, and you savoured the breeze as it fluttered your dress. Everyone was still inside, but you needed a breather.
You could see the lights shinning brightly from here, where you were on the pool deck. Because of course he had a pool. He also had a tennis court, a golf course, and an indoor pool. No surprises there.
You heard the sliding glass door open and shut, Peter emerging with glasses of water in hand. “I figured you’d want this.” he said, walking over to you with a grin, and a fluster on his cheeks.
“Thank you so much.” you sighed, the water trickling down your hand as you grabbed the ice cold glass, taking a long chug. It cleared your head as it slithered down your throat, relieving your thirst.
“So, is it okay?”
“Is what okay?”
“Here. This. Me.”
You stared at him, cocking your head in interest, attempting to study him. “It’s more than okay. It’s wonderful. You’re wonderful.”
“You think so?” he asked, a glimmer in his eyes as he stepped closer to you, your chests practically touching as he grabbed your empty glass, setting it down beside you.
Your breath caught in your throat as his hand slid up, cupping your cheek- thumb brushing your skin making you shiver. Your nipples hardened under his touch- or the chill, you didn’t know.
All you knew was that his eyes were burning holes into yours with the utmost lust you thought you’d simply combust.
“Is it okay if I touch you here doll?”
You nodded.
“What do you want Y/N? Do you want this?” he asked, voice practically begging. The music from the party thudded off the windows, lyrics slipping through the cracks under the doors to echo into your ears.
I sing the national anthem while I am standing over your body hold you like a python, and you can’t keep your hands off me or your pants on, see whatcha done to me, King of Chevron…
“I want this. I want it all.” you murmured, leaning into his touch.
“Can you swim?” he whispered, inching closer and closer to your lips.
Wait- what?
“Ye-” you let out a scream as you felt the world tilt under your feet, tumbling backwards into the hands of a strong man holding your waist. A splash erupted, the world turning a murky dark blue as the music muffled. The water was surprisingly warm as you gasped for air, frantically reaching out for Peter to hold.
He was even warmer than the water despite the cool air, and he laughed as you clung to him, wrapping your legs around his torso, dress hunched up as it stuck to your body like a second skin.
You became very much aware of how his shirt did the same, except it was white, and you could see the perfect outline of his abs and his arm tats.
“Peter what the fuck?!” you shrieked, cut off as his lips crashed to yours, engulfing you with heat and a tenderness you’ve never felt before.
His lips were like pillows as they caressed yours, hands squeezing your thighs, your ass, your waist as he tugged you closer and closer, until your breaths had merged and you had practically become one.
Hands flew up to his hair, tugging on the wet strands as he begged for more, and more- teeth clashing, tongues begging for entrance before they slipped in.
You couldn’t help but moan, breathing harder as his squeezed your ass hard enough to bruise, unleashing whatever restraint he had been holding. You moaned again and he had to pull away, resting his forehead against yours, breathing hard as he watched your mascara smudge and trickle down your cheeks.
“Y/N fuck- if you keep moaning like that… I’ll-”
“You’ll what?” you asked innocently, shivering.
“I’m trying so hard to be a gentleman and not go past this, but if you keep doing that I don’t know if I’ll be able to control myself.” he murmured, bringing a hand up to stroke a stray strand of water from your cheek, kissing each one.
“That’s okay.” you smiled, grinding your hips against his, rubbing against him as he moaned.
“Jesus christ baby. Fuck.”
You giggled, feeling his very prominent bulge through his pants. You grabbed his chin, lips melting against his once more, just to get a taste of him. You were addicted- heart thudding in your chest, blood turning to molten lava in your veins.
It was like his lips were coated in honey, so sweet you practically licked them. “You’re just so sweet.” you sighed into his lips, kissing him harder. It wasn’t long before you were interrupted, the sound of a sliding glass door opening.
“You guys almost done out here?” Bucky called out, Peter's head whipping to him in annoyance.
“ What do you want?!” he called out, exasperated. “Steve and I wanna swim. Unless you guys want us to join you, I’m sure there wouldn’t be too many complaints on this end.” Bucky smirked, winking at you.
What a goddamn flirt. You couldn’t help but smile back, even if he had just interrupted the best experience of your entire life.
“We’ll be out in a minute Bucky- calm down.”
“No need!” a voice called from the house, to which Steve ran and cannonballed into the pool, splashing you.
Peter sighed, leaning his forehead back against yours. “I am so sorry about them. This is not as romantic as I had hoped in the slightest.”
“What are you talking about? This is totally romantic. The drenched rat look I’m wearing is what the movies had envisioned.”
He laughed, kissing your forehead with a quick peck, before Bucky jumped in right after. “The most beautiful drenched rat I’ve ever seen. I promise you, we’ll have time for this again.”
“Many times?” you asked flirtatiously, and he nodded.
”Many times.”
“Good. Now, I suppose we should all play mermaids now. What powers do you wanna have?”

I CAN'T KEEP THIS HIDDEN ANYMORE
ITHACA SPRINGS APARTMENT TOURS
Tumblr media
I've been playing House Flipper 2 & I have made Pomme / Celeste apartment replicas! It'll look a little different from the mock-up floor plans, but it's mainly the same.
Let's Visit The Pomme's First...
Tumblr media
I can't get over how much I love adding clutter. I can't wait for the game to add more little objects!!! It adds so much life to their home, even their front door.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Their living room! Try not to trip on the toys! Lowkey wish their were more old tv options I used that same tv like 5 times. ALSO COLUMNS YAY! That's like one of Ithaca Spring's design motifs. (Pretend where the fish poster is a bearded dragon tank. They don't have that in the game lol)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Their kitchen! They often host family parties, cause their house has the most chairs. Their fridge is full of sodas and their cupboards have so many tasty snacks.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
UGH their messy balcony gives me so much nostalgia. This is kind of where they store their junk in between block parties. (Laz & Vivi don't grill, but Prometheus used to...)
Tumblr media
I LOVE THIS HALLWAY! I can't do much with plants in this game cause collision, but I NEED you to understand that Ithaca Springs is INFESTED with kudzu.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Primary Bedroom, Where Laz & Vivi (used to) fuck. but they can't anymore cause they have a baby in the room.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Primary Bedroom Bath. I love giving them separate showers and baths cause I feel like the bath is like a "spiritual meditation center" for more families in the Oblivion. The shower is just a shower. I wish they had more cringy fish stuff, Vivi & Laz EAT IT UP.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Second Bath, the kid's bath. It's never this clean. Normally they leave their beach towels & jackets on the floor, so many bath toys, and empty bottles of whatever new perfume-y product Dia is trying.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jo's Room, the cleanest it'll ever be. I had a verison with empty pizza boxes everywhere, but i decided to be nice to them and clean their room for them. They're also a GAYMER (console only, i haven't decided if PC games exist in this universe or not)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dia's Room!!! Eventually, when Baby because Toddler, a second bed will get added in here. For now, this is Dia's kingdom and I have decided she listens to pop songs while putting on make-up & practicing golf swings.
Tumblr media
And finally... THE SHRINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Almost all families in the Oblivion have one. Normally, it's filled with personal memorabilia, candles, gems, and other stuff like that.
When I draw this, it'll have lots of fish bones, lapis stones, and family photos.
Laz is really the only one who prays/meditates here. Everyone else just kind of nods and respects the space.
~ ~ ~ ~
Will Reblog this with The Celeste's Apartment in a sec cause halfway through the tour i broke the image count...

The first time you'd met Lee Minho, you'd been in an abandoned convenience store looking for anything salvageable.
Apparently, you'd also missed the walker looking in said convenience store for a quick meal.
Que Lee Minho and his trusty golf club.
He'd showed up like some sort of twisted hero in all his bloody glory, and taken the walker's head clean off it's shoulders in one easy swing.
Hot, right?
He'd given you a "watch your back, dumbass" look, and turned on his heel and strode out the broken glass of the front door.
"Well, I'll just go ahead and go fuck myself." You'd muttered beneath your breath as you'd watched him go.
You'd picked yourself up off the floor, grabbed your gun, and followed him at a distance.
What can you say? You have a thing for hot, aloof guys who don't give a fuck and can take down a zombie in one clean hit.
Hey. It's the apocalypse.
Beggars can't be choosers.
********************************************************************************
The first time you'd met Hwang Hyunjin, he'd been naked.
Well, mostly.
You'd only been part of the safety compound community for a couple of weeks and apparently someone had neglected to tell you that the public showers were exactly that-public.
You'd nearly run smack into him, white towel that was now gray from too much use slung low around his narrow hips, and you'd stared, shocked, until he'd finally arched a brow and given you a small smirk.
"Like what you see?"
"You're n-not, um, wearing anything under that, are you...?" You'd stuttered out, like a complete fool, and not a savvy, independent woman who'd survived the end of the world completely on her own.
Hyunjin had glanced down the lean lines of his body and smirked some more.
"I mean. That's kinda the point when you shower, toots."
You had averted your eyes and ducked into the shower before you could embarrass yourself further, and Hyunjin had laughed before leaving.
Hot, lethal guys remember?
********************************************************************************
Cue the present.
You're still head over heels for dangerous men who can hold their own against a horde of zombies, but seriously, your options are limited here.
Let's just ignore the fact that it's two specific men in particular, shall we?
"(Y/N). Are you listening to me?"
You glance up from your seat at the table, playing with the trigger of your gun, and meet Minho's narrowed gaze.
You give him an innocent smile. "Would you believe me if I said yes?"
"No."
You shrug. "Then no."
Minho sighs and leans onto his hands on the table, pointing to the crudely drawn map of the buildings outside the safety of the compound.
"We're going to hit up first and third today. See if we can find some medical supplies."
You hum under your breath in acknowledgement, and Hyunjin takes the opportunity to lean forward and kick your legs down off the table.
"Hey, watch it, shithead!" You glare in his direction as your boots hit the floor and you steady yourself.
Hyunjin smirks and arches a brow at you. "What're you gonna do about it?"
You lean in and murmur threateningly beneath your breath, snapping your teeth at him, "Feed you to the walkers myself."
"I'd love to see you try, toots." Hyunjin counters back, leaning forward so your lips are almost brushing, before he mimics a kiss and you pull back abruptly as he laughs.
"Children." Minho grumbles, leaving the table and your squabble to grab his bag and sling his trusty golf club across his back. "I'm surrounded by children."
"I wouldn't be opposed to calling you daddy." Hyunjin says cheekily as he stands, stretching, before he grabs his own gear and his gun.
"Me either." You reply instantly with a wiggle of your brows in Minho's direction, even as he glares at both of you and flips you off.
"Can we just focus long enough to get our shit and get out?"
You grab your own weapon and salute Minho dramatically. "Yes, sir, daddy sir."
Hyunjin cackles from beside you, slinging an arm around your shoulders.
You try to ignore how warm his skin is against the back of your neck.
Minho sighs, resignation clear in his features as he heads for the door.
"I'm going to leave you two for the fucking walkers, mark my words."
********************************************************************************
"Hey toots, catch!"
Hyunjin tosses a water damaged packet of gauze over to you from the next aisle and you catch it easily, stuffing it into your pack as you continue to peruse the picked over shelves of the pharmacy.
There's not much left, but if there's anything worth while here, trust that the three of you will find it.
You snort as you find an intact box of condoms, calling over to Hyunjin, "Hey, you wanna have apocalypse sex?"
"Who's asking?" He appears at your side in a moment, snatching the box of condoms from your hand and inspecting it with a sly smirk on his face.
"Well I'll be."
"It'll even be safe sex." You point out with amusement, returning to shuffle through the leftover items on the shelves.
Hyunjin leans up against the shelf next to you, tossing the box easily from hand to hand as he continues to stare at you.
You arch a brow and give him a pointed look. "What?"
His smirk widens. "Are you asking me to have sex with you, toots?"
You make a face of mock revulsion and shove him away from you, even as you heart does a weird beat against the wall of your chest at his words.
"Fuck no."
"Suit yourself. Your loss." Hyunjin shrugs and stuffs the condoms into his own pack before ambling away.
Minho appears at the opposite end of the aisle, palming a box of what looks like water logged aspirin. He zips it into the pocket of his own pack as he approaches you, expression serious.
"Everyone good to go? We need to move."
"Yeah." You nod, zipping up your backpack and slinging it over your shoulder. You glance around, peering through the bare shelves. "Where's Hyunjin-?"
"Shit. Fuck."
You're cut off by Hyunjin dashing around the end of the aisle where you and Minho currently stand, expression grim as he slides to a stop beside the two of you and pulls out his large gun.
He tosses his head in the direction of the front doors, blowing long, dirty blonde hair out of his eyes as he does so.
"There's a shit ton of walkers in the parking lot. I dunno if they somehow smelled us or heard us or if they're just gathered here for some fucking freak zombie reason, but we're gonna have a hell of a time getting out of here."
Minho swears underneath his breath, scanning the shelves for anything useful as a weapon or distraction.
You load your gun silently, muscles already tense and ready for a fight.
"Fuck it." Minho finally says, tugging his golf club out of his pack and smacking it into the palm of his free hand with a murderous expression on his features. "Let's go. We can't waste anymore time."
The chains you had used to secure the doors of the pharmacy when you first entered rattle loudly, and the sound of palms slamming against the glass echoes down the aisle toward the three of you.
Beside you, Hyunjin readies up, his lips pulled down into a serious, firm line.
"Yo, (Y/N)."
You glance sidelong at him as you all creep silently toward the front doors and the waiting horde of zombies.
He gives you the hint of a grim smile as he cocks his gun.
"If we survive this, think you'll reconsider sleeping with me?"
You snort out a strained chuckle as the door comes into view, and the faces of dozens of bloody, rotting zombies fill the frosted, cracked glass.
"Maybe."
A hand comes through the crack in the door, rattling the chains even more violently, leaving bloody smears on the door handle.
Hyunjin nods, looking determined.
"Good enough for me."
Minho stalks forward and slams his golf club down hard on the walker's hand, breaking it with a sharp crack. The walker shrieks and retreats and Minho glances back at the two of you as he reaches for the heavy padlock you had secured earlier.
Hyunjin arches a brow, staring at Minho hungrily. "Are you trying to turn me on or are you really just that oblivious?"
Minho rolls his eyes and you can practically hear him sigh.
Hey, what can you say? He looks hot as fuck covered in blood and smashing walkers hands off like they're made of nothing more than paper.
You and Hyunjin obviously have the same type.
"Our best bet is to funnel them in here where we can take them on in smaller numbers." His expression goes dangerous and determined as he turns back to the door. "Ready?"
You and Hyunjin both nod, immediately back into business mode, and Minho undoes the lock, letting the chains that hold the door closed against the horde slink to the floor at his feet.
The old, cracked doors crack under the pressure of the walkers without the chains to hold them up, and Minho leaps out of the way as they crash inward, and shuffling, rotting corpses begin to lurch into the pharmacy.
Without a second thought, you begin to take them down with bullets to the head, Hyunjin firing beside you in steady succession.
Minho jumps over the fallen corpses, and starts to take out the side stragglers swing by swing, his golf club knocking heads off easily, as if they were nothing more than stray balls waiting for his putt.
Your gun clicks, the chamber empty, and the walkers are still pouring steadily in, stumbling over their fallen comrades, mouths open, hands reaching for you.
"Fuck." You swear and sling off your backpack, searching for the ammo you had stored there before you left.
Hyunjin slides in front of you, calling over his shoulder as he continues to take shot after shot, "I'll cover you!"
You nod back gratefully, and your fingers finally close around the box of extra ammo.
You've just gotten the first bullet in the chamber, when Minho yells out over the groans of the incoming walkers and the sound of gunfire, "Look out!"
You glance up in time to see a walker swiping its gnarled hands at you through the bare shelves of the next aisle, teeth gnashing, eyes hanging out of their sockets.
You scramble backward, dropping your gun in the process, and Hyunjin whirls, taking the walker out with a bullet between the hanging eyes.
Its body falls heavily-right into the empty shelving unit, sending it crashing down-right on top of you and Hyunjin
"Move!" You shout, shoving Hyunjin away as you lunge to get out of the way of the toppling metal.
There's a sharp piercing pain in your side as you crash into Hyunjin on the safety of the floor a few feet away, both of you breathing hard, the fallen shelving unit at your feet.
"Shit." Hyunjin laughs breathlessly, glancing to you with wide eyes. "That was close."
There's black blood spatter on his face, and a gash on his forehead is leaking fresh red blood down his temple and across his lips.
"Are you two okay?" Minho appears, looming over the two of you, his chest heaving, forehead glistening with sweat and blood that matches Hyunjin's.
He lets the bloody golf club rest on the floor at his feet, the head covered in gore, and looks the two of you over with a sharp gaze.
Worry creases his forehead, and he crouches, reaching out to touch your side, and instantly, you hiss at the contact.
Something starts to burn.
"Fuck." Hyunjin mutters beneath his breath, and you follow his gaze to where Minho's hand covers your side.
Between his fingers, blood is starting to drip onto the floor beneath you, a large, sharp piece of shrapnel embedded just above your hip.
Now that the adrenaline is wearing off, it hurts like a bitch.
You can't worry about that right now though.
You glance to the doorway, almost piled completely shut with fallen walkers, and jut your chin toward the opening.
"We cleared them, but more will be coming, drawn in by the sounds and the blood. We need to leave. Now."
Minho's expression shutters, turning to business, and he picks up his club, standing, before he offers you his bloody hand to pull you to your feet.
You wince and hiss a breath between your teeth as you move, but get to your feet anyway.
Hyunjin gets up as well, kicking aside walker bodies to clear a path to the door as Minho slings one of your arms over his shoulders, taking most of your body weight as he helps you hobble toward the exit.
"Goddamn motherfucking bastards." Hyunjin mutters sourly beneath his breath, as he crushes a dead walker's head beneath the heel of his heavy boot.
He shoves open one of the doors with effort, the door wedging several times on the fallen zombies piled around it, and squints against the fast sinking sun, glancing back to you and Minho as you step out into the parking lot with him.
"Fuck." Minho swears, adjusting your hold on him, making you cringe and bite your lip to stop from whimpering. "It's later than I thought."
Hyunjin hefts his gun, motioning with his head to the alley you'd taken to get here.
"Come on. Follow me. I'll clear our path."
Minho nods as Hyunjin cocks the gun and steps out into the open, scanning the area warily.
When he motions you both forward, Minho turns to you, saying quietly beneath his breath, his expression softening slightly at the pain that's probably written all over your face, "We're gonna get out of this."
"We better." You reply back through gritted teeth, kicking out at a dead walker at your feet, smearing the toe of your shoe with blood. You give him a smile that's more like a grimace. "I haven't lived this long just to get taken out by one of these fucking ugly bastards."
Minho's lips twitch into the start of a smile as he helps you move forward to follow Hyunjin.
"That's my girl."
********************************************************************************
"This is gonna hurt."
You grimace, tightening your knuckles until they whiten around the edge of the cot, and give the doctor a slight glare.
"It already fucking hurts, Ally, just pull the damn thing out."
Ally sighs, reaching for a pair of gloves and a small bottle of alcohol. "Fine. But don't tell me I didn't warn you."
"Hey." Minho's voice is soft where he stands by your head, and you crane your head to glance up at him, grateful for the distraction as Ally starts to disinfect her hands.
He holds up a bottle of whiskey, expression serious, eyes dark. "You're gonna want to take a drink of this first."
You stare up at him. "I don't-"
"Trust me." He commands in a low tone, and you give in, nodding, as he raises the bottle of alcohol to your lips.
You take a short swig, and it burns on the way down your throat, but he's right, it numbs the searing pain in your side to a dull throb.
Ally grabs a pair of old forceps from the tray beside the cot and looks to you seriously.
"Ready?"
You take in a deep breath, holding it momentarily, before you readjust your death grip on the edge of the cot and give her one short, terse nod.
"Do it."
You take in another breath as you feel her touch the shrapnel in your side, the pain instantly flaring.
You force your body still, tense and trembling, as she takes a good hold.
She glances at you once more for confirmation and then up to Minho, standing beside your head.
"Give her the stick, Minho."
Minho leans over you, hands on either side of your head, staring down at you with an unreadable expression, before he gently, silently slides the hard piece of wood between your teeth, his fingers lingering feather soft on your jaw.
"Bite down." He admonishes softly beneath his breath, eyes never leaving your own. "And breathe out slowly."
You do as he says, holding his gaze-you wonder how many times he's been in your same position-and then, without warning, Ally tugs the large piece of metal out of your side in one harsh, smooth motion.
You feel it-the tearing of your muscle, of your skin, the hot blood immediately gushing down your side, pooling on the cot beneath you-and you bite down harder on the stick between your teeth to keep from audibly crying out, even as you squeeze your eyes shut against the sudden hot barrage of tears.
"It's out." Ally announces, and you hear something clatter onto her tray, before she moves to prod the edges of the jagged wound with her gloved fingers.
You hiss out a curse between your teeth at the contact, but don't open your eyes.
You don't dare move, the pain is still too much, your fingers are clenched so tightly along the edges of the cot that they're staring to ache.
You might pass out.
Your whole body is shaking violently now from the pain and shock as Ally cleans out the rest of the wound and moves to stitching you up.
It hurts, but not nearly as bad as the first initial agony.
There's a dull throbbing as Ally finishes pulling the stitches closed, and then she shoves back from the cot, standing up and snapping off her gloves.
It's only then that you finally open your eyes.
"We're all done." She remarks, patting you on the shoulder with a sympathetic look on her face. "You did well. Don't overdo it. Those stitches will rip if you try anything too strenuous the next couple of days."
She turns a commanding look and a finger on Minho. "I expect you to keep her responsible for her healing, Minho."
You hear him chuckle, but the sound doesn't feel like it normally does.
Or maybe that's just the pain talking.
"Yes, ma'am."
Ally nods sternly, seemingly satisfied, and heads back to her office, leaving the large run down auditorium that had been made into the compound's medical unit on silent feet.
You let out a shuddering breath, and finally glance at Minho.
"Is Hyunjin okay?" You ask, because it's the only thing you can think to say into the silence.
You don't want to focus too long on the worry that still creases his pretty features.
Minho nods with a slight smile that doesn't quite reach his eyes. "Yeah. Ally looked at him when we got back. He just needed a few stitches. He's furious it's gonna scar though."
You laugh, but it cuts off into a wince, because the action immediately pulls at the tenderness of your side.
You sense Minho shift toward you, as if he wants to help, but doesn't quite know how.
You let out a long, shuddering sigh, and stare up at the crackled paint of the ceiling above your heads.
"He's worried about you, you know."
You glance back to Minho in surprise at his soft words, and he gives you the hint of another smile.
"Hyunjin, I mean. He wanted to come with me to make sure you were okay, but he's not huge on blood."
You arch a brow in disbelief. "The man lives in the zombie apocalypse."
Minho laughs, amusement trickling into his gaze. "Yeah, well, walker blood is different than blood from people you know intimately."
Your mind snags on the last word and won't let it go. Not until you ask, "We-know each other intimately?"
Minho cocks his head, regarding you seriously. "I mean-kind of. I don't usually take people I don't trust out with me on expeditions."
Something about his words makes your chest warm, and the pain dull.
"And Hyunjin-" You start to say, trailing off, not really sure where you're going with this.
Minho sighs. "Hyunjin likes you. He's just a dumbass sometimes who doesn't know how to show it."
You stare at him, nibbling anxiously on your bottom lip, and Minho reaches out and frees the skin from between your teeth with his thumb.
"We're not all savages here, sweetheart. We care about you." He admits softly, holding your gaze, and your heart does that weird thing in your chest again. "And seeing you get hurt-"
Pain washes across his face, and without thinking, you slide your fingers between his and squeeze.
He jumps slightly, shock flickering in his dark eyes, and then he glances down at your joined hands.
You squeeze again, until he looks back up to you.
"I care about you guys too." You whisper back, a slight smile pulling at your lips.
You glance down to your clothes, bloody and torn, and the newly stitched jagged wound marking your side, stained with alcohol and dried blood.
"Do you care enough about me to help me shower?" You ask teasingly, and Minho rolls his eyes, but there's a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.
"I'm sure Hyunjin would be more than happy to volunteer."
********************************************************************************
3 Months Later
"Toots, c'mon-" Hyunjin follows you into the low building, whining and putting on his best pouting face, even though you're clearly ignoring the little show he's trying to put on.
"Babe." You counter back, not looking at him, as Minho glances up from where he's standing at the table, packing supplies into backpacks. "There is no fucking way I'm letting you use a sex toy on me that you found in the middle of the zombie apocalypse."
Minho's expression immediately turns to something between disgust and exasperation at your words.
"But I'll wash it first!" Hyunjin argues back, as you cross the room to slip in beside Minho, pressing a quick kiss to his cheek as you take over packing your backpack.
You stare down Hyunjin across the table blankly. "You would literally have to run that thing through a sterilizer seven times before I would even let you come near me with it."
Something determined flashes across Hyunjin's dark gaze at your words. "I'll ask Ally if I can borrow hers."
"No."
"Oh, c'mon!" Hyunjin cries out, reaching across the table to snag his backpack angrily, stuffing his supplies into it with harsh, pouty movements. "Neither of you are any fun."
Beside you, Minho sighs. "Fun gets you killed."
Hyunjin rolls his eyes so hard that you laugh a little and he turns his glare to you.
"God, I really can't believe I'm shacking up with two of the most boring people to ever exist."
You shrug, slinging your backpack over your shoulder as you do so. "It's the end of the world. Beggars can't be choosers."
Minho nods in agreement, putting on his own gear as he moves around the table to flick Hyunjin across the cheekbone.
"Yep. She's right."
Hyunjin rubs at his cheek, scowling, even as you lean over to press a kiss to his plump lips.
"God, I really hate you."
You laugh, as Minho smirks, leaning over to swipe a kiss across his offended cheekbone.
"We love you too. Now let's get moving."

“Why are you, as a beefy man, not laying on top of me?"
skdjfhskfgl so i wrote this quick little thing inspired by this and this enjoy some charlos with a healthy dose of shirtless carlos
When Charles lands, he barely has the chance to catch his breath before he is whisked away to some PR event. It is a small one, thankfully, not in public. But by the time he finally checks into the hotel, he is more exhausted than he thought he would be, and dozes off while checking his phone after a shower.
When he wakes up, the sun has fully set. He checks the time on his phone, sees the message he needs. He’s still a little sluggish from his nap, but he gets a little extra spring as he hops off the bed.
He finds the room quickly enough. They are on different floors, which is a bit annoying, but it can’t be helped sometimes. He knocks and waits with bated breath.
Carlos doesn’t keep him waiting long, the wooden door opening to reveal his dark, luscious locks and large brown eyes, already staring right into Charles’.
"Hello mate."
Carlos waits until he is inside and the door is shut before returning his greeting.
"Hola, mi amor." Lips are pressed to his forehead. "How was the event?"
"Mhm, as usual."
Carlos is wearing a gray shirt and a plain pair of sweats. He pulls the shirt over his head as they make their way into the hotel room, and Charles admires how the action reveals an expanse of toned back.
The subject of his ogling looks back over his shoulder. "Mate, did you fall asleep?" Carlos admonishes as he frees his arms from the sleeves. "Now you will be a bit jet-lagged."
Charles suppresses the urge to roll his eyes. There isn’t a big time difference, and the race schedule more or less lets them stay on European time. Leave it to Carlos to still make plans for jet lag.
Before he can retort, Carlos speaks again. "Have you had dinner?"
There had been food served at the event, but that was already a few hours ago, and probably lighter than what Charles needs to get in the car tomorrow.
Carlos is, of course, prepared for this. Because he is. So Charles helps himself to the extra room service Carlos had ordered while Carlos takes his shower.
Carlos emerges from the bathroom with just a towel around his waist. They have been together long enough that Charles can appraise the naked torso in front of him without an uncontrollable urge to run away and hide until he calmed down or jump Carlos there and then (mostly just the latter as time went on). They can’t tonight, not before they both have to drive for the next three days. Now, Charles can take in the sight knowing that in just a few days he will get a piece, a touch, a taste.
He washes up to the sound of a hairdryer in the background. When he reenters the room, Carlos is still blowing his hair. It has grown out nicely (as it always does), at the length that would flow beautifully off the nape of Carlos’ neck in the paddock tomorrow.
Charles flops backwards onto the bed. His gaze trails downwards to those sculpted shoulders and strong arms, flexing to hold the hairdryer aloft, conjuring up other images of those arms lifting weights, swinging a padel racket, or wrapping around Charles’ waist.
The dryer noise stops. Carlos turns, and Charles takes in the sight of his boyfriend’s chest again. He hasn’t shaved, Charles notes. The smattering of dark hair across those defined pecs and abs is visible even from this distance.
A warm feeling curls inside Charles’ gut.
"What did you do today?" he asks. He knows the answer is probably golf or squash.
"Played some golf," Carlos answers as he pulls on some boxers and sleep shorts. "Had a meeting for some media next week, just to confirm the plan. Then a quick stretch with Rupert."
"Mm, certo," Charles hums. Carlos has yet to join him in bed, mulling about as he finds a place to hang the no longer needed bath towel. "I heard this word today, in English."
He waits for Carlos to hang the towel up - smoothing it out neatly as he does - before continuing.
"Beefy."
Carlos’ brows lift, one higher than the other, in a bemused smile. So he knows what the word means. Charles feels the corners of his lips gently pulling upwards as well. "Oh really?"
"Yes." Charles cranes his neck from where he is lying down to prop his head up and fix Carlos with an appraising stare. "Why are you, as a beefy man, not laying on top of me?"
"Ah, Cabrón, am I just a weighted blanket to you?" Carlos’ tone is light and just a little bit teasing, all while he stalks slowly towards the bed, the smile on his face slowly turning into a look that is almost smug.
Charles tries to keep a serious face. "Yes." He bursts into giggles.
A warm smile, too, cracks across Carlos’ face, showing his teeth, and he throws himself onto Charles, just as he had asked for. Charles lets out a soft oof—more in jest than anything, as Carlos catches himself before his weight actually knocks the air out of Charles—which is followed by more giggles.
That is, until Carlos pulls his face level with Charles, just inches between their lips, and Charles can feel his hot breath as he speaks.
"I cannot be too beefy, cariño, or I will be too heavy for the car."
Charles lifts his hands off the bedspread and lets them run up and down the length of Carlos’ arms, over his shoulders, spreading across his shoulder blades, feeling down that toned back.
"Mmm, but you are..." he murmurs, giving one tricep a squeeze.
He isn’t a stranger to muscular bodies. He is an athlete; he works with and fights against other athletes, and they all train, and sweat, and take their shirts off, and examine themselves in the gym. He has seen bodies, looked in a mirror and seen his own.
But only one body does something to him, and that very body is lying on top of him, pressing him into the bed with its delicious weight, covering him with warmth, embracing him with its sweet smell, shifting under and responding to his touch.
"I have very good-looking…muscles…" Carlos’ breath is hot in his ear. "I saw you looking."
"I am always looking," Charles retorts, though his voice sounds heady.
He feels the rumble in Carlos’ chest rather than hear his chuckle before plush lips are pressed to his again. Strong arms wrap around him and they both shift. Carlos keeps an arm around him as he wrangles the covers out from under their bodies, then back over them both. Charles sighs and presses his face into Carlos’ neck.
He doesn’t remember dozing off, but when he wakes up, his head is resting on Carlos’ chest.

Why the Deep to Shallow Transition Is Key to Consistent Golf Shots
Golf is a game of precision, timing, and consistency. Every golfer, from weekend enthusiasts to professionals, aims for repeatable, clean strikes that send the ball exactly where they want it to go. Yet, one of the most critical aspects of a successful golf swing often goes overlooked: the deep-to-shallow transition. Mastering this move can transform your game, making your shots more reliable and your ball striking more effective.
Tumblr media
What Is the Deep-to-Shallow Transition?
In simple terms, the deep-to-shallow transition refers to the path your club takes during the downswing. As you complete your backswing, the club reaches its highest point—this is often referred to as the "deep" position. From there, the club needs to transition into a "shallower" angle as it approaches the ball. This move helps you achieve a powerful and efficient impact position.
Without this transition, your swing path may become too steep or vertical, leading to inconsistent strikes, slices, or even dreaded chunks. By contrast, a well-executed deep-to-shallow move promotes clean contact, better ball flight, and more control over direction and distance.
Why Is the Deep-to-Shallow Transition So Important?
Improves Ball Striking A shallow downswing path allows the clubface to make solid contact with the ball. It minimizes the chances of hitting behind the ball (fat shots) or catching it thin. Consistent ball-first contact is a hallmark of great golfers, and this transition is the foundation for achieving it.
Enhances Power and Distance The shallow downswing path aligns the clubhead to strike the ball with maximum energy transfer. It also encourages proper sequencing, where the lower body leads the downswing, generating power from the ground up.
Promotes a Draw Ball Flight Many golfers dream of hitting a controlled draw, and the deep-to-shallow move makes it easier to achieve. A shallow path encourages an inside-to-outside swing direction, which is essential for producing a draw.
Reduces Risk of Injury A steep downswing can place excessive stress on your body, especially your wrists, elbows, and shoulders. Shallowing out your swing path creates a more natural and efficient motion, reducing strain and promoting longevity in the game.
Common Mistakes in the Transition
Rushing the Downswing Many golfers hurry the transition, pulling the club steeply down towards the ball. This move often results in poor contact and inconsistent shots. Patience is key—allow the club to drop naturally into the slot.
Overusing the Upper Body Focusing too much on the arms and shoulders can cause a steep downswing. Instead, prioritize initiating the downswing with your lower body—hips and legs—to create a smooth, shallow path.
Improper Grip and Setup A grip that’s too tight or a stance that’s misaligned can make it difficult to achieve a proper transition. Ensure your setup encourages a natural swing path.
How to Master the Deep-to-Shallow Transition
Drills to Practice
Pump Drill: Pause at the top of your backswing, then slowly rehearse the motion of dropping the club into the shallow slot before completing your downswing.
Towel Drill: Place a towel under your trail arm during the swing. If the towel stays in place through the transition, you’re on the right track.
Video Analysis Recording your swing can provide valuable insights into your transition. Look for signs of a steep downswing and work on creating a smoother, shallower path.
Work with a Coach An experienced golf instructor can help identify areas for improvement and provide personalized guidance on mastering the deep-to-shallow transition.
Conclusion
The deep-to-shallow transition is more than just a technical adjustment; it’s a cornerstone of consistent, effective golf. By focusing on this key aspect of your swing, you’ll not only improve your ball striking but also enjoy greater power, control, and confidence on the course. Make this transition a priority in your practice sessions, and watch your game reach new heights.

Golf in Style: Express Yourself with Vibrant Colored Hand Towels
Tumblr media
A proper golf swing is only one aspect of the game because players must also display their style while they play. Golf hand towels in different colors serve as an excellent method of displaying your individuality. Vibrant colors embedded in these towels give your clubs not only cleaning functionality but also enhance the game with your personal style. Cayenne red through azure blue represents an array of color options for your selection. Your selection of color matches your mood, represents your team spirit, and supports your preferred causes. The absorbent microfiber or cotton towels come with fun designs that help you find them if you happen to drop them during a round, and their practicality makes them collectible items. The use of colored hand towels creates conversation points that improve team spirit and deliver additional enjoyment to the game. The functional role of golf towels meets practical needs, but colorful versions provide dual benefits of utility and personalization, which demonstrates that golf and life should combine usefulness with enjoyment.

Women's Golf Rain Wear: Stay Dry & Swing Confidently in Any Weather!
Golf is a game of precision, skill, and timing. But when you’re out on the course, weather conditions can change at any moment, especially when the rain starts pouring down. If you're a female golfer, staying dry without compromising your swing can be a challenge. But don't worry—there’s no need to cancel your round. With the right womens golf rain wear, you can enjoy your game in any weather!
In this blog, we’ll explore essential rain gear for female golfers, from waterproof jackets to golf shoes, and everything in between. Whether you're dealing with a light drizzle or a torrential downpour, we’ve got you covered.
1. Why Investing in Quality Women's Golf Rain Wear is Essential
Every golfer knows that unpredictable weather can make or break a round. Imagine stepping onto the course with a golf jacket that isn’t waterproof, or golf shoes that soak through after a few holes. Not only will you be uncomfortable, but your performance could suffer too.
Investing in high-quality women’s golf rain wear ensures that you stay dry, comfortable, and confident on the course. It allows you to focus on your game without worrying about wet clothes, slipping, or losing grip.
Tumblr media
2. Essential Pieces of Women’s Golf Rain Wear
To play your best in rainy conditions, it's essential to have the right gear. Here’s a list of must-have rainwear for female golfers:
Waterproof Jackets
A top priority for any golfer facing wet conditions is a waterproof jacket. These jackets are designed to keep you dry in the heaviest rain without restricting your swing. Look for lightweight options that offer breathability, so you don’t overheat as you move. Brands like Adidas, Callaway, and Wilson offer a range of stylish and functional waterproof jackets made for golf.
Waterproof Trousers
A pair of waterproof trousers can be just as important as a jacket. When the rain is relentless, your legs will thank you for keeping them dry. Waterproof golf pants are designed to repel water while still offering the flexibility you need to make your best swing.
Golf Shoes
Golf shoes are another essential piece of rain gear. In wet conditions, proper footwear can make all the difference. Choose waterproof golf shoes that provide excellent grip, ensuring you don’t slip during your swing. Opt for shoes from trusted brands like Armour, Adidas, or Wilson, which offer great waterproof options. Some brands even offer junior golf shoes to keep younger players dry.
Golf Gloves
A soggy glove can lead to slippery grips and missed shots. 100 Waterproof golf gloves are designed to help you maintain your grip even in the rain. Some gloves feature special materials that ensure a dry grip, while others have unique designs to keep your hands warm and comfortable.
Golf Bags and Accessories
To keep your golf gear dry, choose a waterproof golf bag. Many bags come with rain covers, offering additional protection for your clubs. Keep golf towels and accessories handy to wipe off excess water from your equipment between holes. If you play frequently in rainy conditions, consider investing in a golf trolley that can help keep your bag off wet ground.
3. Best Waterproof Rain Wear for Women Golfers
Let’s take a closer look at some of the best options for women's golf rain wear that are designed to withstand the elements.
Callaway Waterproof Jacket
Callaway is known for making durable and comfortable golf wear, and their waterproof jackets are no exception. These jackets are lightweight yet protective, with breathable fabric that keeps you comfortable during long rounds. Whether you’re hitting the fairway or the greens, a Callaway waterproof jacket keeps you dry in all weather conditions.
Titleist Waterproof Trousers
Titleist is a top choice for many golfers, known for its high-quality equipment and accessories. Their waterproof trousers are made with advanced technology to keep you dry and comfortable even in heavy rain. They also offer Titleist golf balls, which are engineered to perform in all conditions.
Wilson Waterproof Golf Shoes
When it comes to footwear, Wilson has you covered. Their waterproof golf shoes are designed for maximum comfort and durability. With a focus on traction and support, they ensure you can swing confidently on wet surfaces. Whether it’s a drizzle or a downpour, these shoes will keep your feet dry and stable.
4. How to Choose the Right Women's Golf Rain Wear
Choosing the right rainwear isn’t just about picking something that looks good—it’s about finding what works best for your game and the conditions you play in. Here are some tips for selecting the perfect rain gear for your needs:
Look for Full Waterproof Coverage
Make sure your rain jacket, trousers, and other gear are fully waterproof. Look for products that are labeled "100% waterproof apparel" to ensure they offer maximum protection from the rain.
Check for Breathability
Staying dry on the outside is important, but you also need to stay comfortable on the inside. Look for rain gear that features breathable fabrics, allowing moisture to escape while keeping you dry.
Prioritize Flexibility
As a golfer, you need gear that won’t restrict your swing. Look for jackets and trousers that are designed with mobility in mind, so you can move freely during your round.
Choose the Right Fit
Comfort is key when selecting your gear. Make sure your rain jacket and waterproof trousers fit well, allowing for movement without feeling too tight or too loose.
5. The Importance of Ladies Golf Accessories in the Rain
In addition to your rain gear, there are several accessories that can enhance your rainy-day game:
Golf Towels
Having a dry towel can help you maintain grip on your clubs, wipe off your shoes, or dry your hands. Invest in a golf towel that is absorbent and quick-drying.
Golf Clubs and Balls
Rain can affect the way your golf balls perform, so it’s important to choose equipment that can handle wet conditions. Opt for Titleist golf balls, Callaway golf balls, or Wilson golf balls, which are designed to maintain their performance even in the rain.
Golf Bags and Luggage
Protect your clubs and accessories from the rain with a waterproof golf bag. A golf trolley can also help keep your bag off the wet ground. If you’re traveling to a course, invest in golf luggage that provides extra protection for your gear.
6. How to Stay Comfortable While Playing in the Rain
Playing in the rain can be a challenge, but with the right mindset and equipment, you can make the most of the conditions. Here are some tips to stay comfortable while playing in wet weather:
Dress in Layers: Layering is key to staying comfortable. Wear moisture-wicking base layers underneath your waterproof jacket to stay dry from sweat.
Stay Dry Between Holes: Use your golf towel to wipe down your clubs, shoes, and gloves between holes. Keep your gear dry so you can continue to perform at your best.
Focus on Your Game: Don’t let the rain distract you from your game. Stay focused, and remember that everyone is playing under the same conditions.

Boys Golf Equipment: Best Gear for Future Golf Champions
Golf is a game of precision, focus, and consistency. Whether your child is just starting their golfing journey or is already showing potential as a junior golfer, having the right equipment is key to their development and success. Boys golf equipment has come a long way in recent years, offering a range of options tailored to young players of different skill levels. From golf clubs and balls to shoes and accessories, finding the right gear can make all the difference in their game.
Why Choosing the Right Boys Golf Equipment Matters
For young golfers, using equipment that suits their size and skill level is crucial for a positive experience on the course. Children grow quickly, and so do their needs when it comes to golf gear. Junior golf equipment is specifically designed to provide the right balance of performance, comfort, and ease of use. Lighter clubs, smaller grips, and the right shaft flexibility help ensure that young golfers can swing comfortably and confidently.
Choosing the right equipment is not just about fitting their size—it’s also about boosting their performance and making the game enjoyable. Quality boys golf equipment can help your child improve their golf swing, gain better control over their shots, and develop the skills they need to progress in the game.
Tumblr media
Key Pieces of Boys Golf Equipment
Golf Clubs: The Foundation of a Young Golfer's Game
Golf clubs are the most important piece of equipment for any golfer. For young players, it’s essential to select clubs that are not only lightweight but also well-designed for beginners and juniors. Junior golf clubs typically feature shorter shafts and lighter heads to make them easier to handle and swing.
The Team TaylorMade Junior Set is one of the top options for younger players, offering high-quality clubs that ensure comfort and easy playability. For a well-rounded set, look for clubs that include a driver, fairway wood, hybrid, and a putter. As your child grows and improves, you can always upgrade to more advanced options.
Golf Balls: Small but Mighty
The golf ball is another important aspect of junior golf equipment. Kids golf balls are designed to have a softer feel and lower compression, which makes it easier for younger players to hit the ball farther and with more accuracy. Using a ball that is too hard or too large can cause young golfers to struggle, so it's essential to choose one that fits their needs.
Many brands offer junior golf balls that are softer, lighter, and more forgiving on shots. These balls help young golfers improve their game while also enjoying the experience on the course.
Golf Bags: Convenience and Comfort
Carrying a golf bag can be a challenge for young golfers, especially if the bag is too heavy. Lightweight, ergonomic golf bags are a must for kids, as they allow for easy movement and comfort during play. A stand bag is often preferred because it allows the golfer to set the bag down on the course without it tipping over. Look for bags with enough space to fit all the essentials, including clubs, balls, tees, and accessories.
Golf Shoes: Grip and Stability
A good pair of golf shoes is vital for providing stability during swings and ensuring that young golfers are comfortable on the course. Golf shoes designed for kids feature flexible soles, which offer more grip and better balance, crucial for making accurate shots. Many junior golf shoes also come with waterproof features to protect the feet during wet conditions, enhancing comfort and performance.
Golf Gloves and Accessories: Ensuring Comfort and Control
A golf glove is a small but essential part of junior golf equipment. It helps young golfers get a better grip on their clubs, preventing the clubs from slipping out of their hands during their swing. Golf accessories like tees, ball markers, and towel clips can help young players stay organized while also adding to the enjoyment of the game.
Age-Appropriate Equipment for Young Golfers
Choosing age-appropriate equipment is essential to ensure that your child enjoys playing and can progress in the sport. Younger golfers, especially those under 12, will need clubs that are easier to handle, with shorter shafts, flexible shafts, and smaller grips. For older juniors, as they grow taller and stronger, they may need clubs that are slightly longer and offer more advanced features.
What Makes Junior Golf Equipment Different?
Junior golf equipment is specifically designed for younger players. These clubs, balls, and accessories are lighter and more flexible than standard adult equipment, making them easier for children to swing and control. Junior golf clubs feature shorter shafts and a more forgiving head design, while junior golf balls are softer and have lower compression for better distance and accuracy.
The right junior golf equipment ensures that young players can practice their golf swing and develop the skills they need to advance in the game without feeling frustrated by equipment that is too heavy or difficult to use.
How to Choose the Best Boys Golf Equipment
When selecting boys golf equipment, there are several key factors to consider:
Age and Size: Choose clubs that are the right length and weight for your child’s age and height. Most manufacturers offer clubs in sets designed for specific age groups.
Skill Level: Consider your child’s current skill level. Beginners will benefit from equipment that is forgiving and easy to use, while more experienced players may need equipment that offers better performance.
Quality: Look for reputable brands known for making high-quality golf equipment, such as Team TaylorMade or Callaway, to ensure durability and performance.
Comfort: Comfort is key when selecting golf shoes, gloves, and bags. Ensure that your child feels comfortable wearing and carrying the equipment.
Popular Brands for Boys Golf Equipment
Some popular brands that specialize in junior golf equipment include:
Callaway: Known for their junior golf sets and lightweight clubs, Callaway offers high-quality options for young golfers.
TaylorMade: Their junior sets, such as the Team TaylorMade Junior Set, are designed with younger players in mind, providing comfort and performance.
Cobra: Cobra’s junior golf clubs offer a blend of durability and ease of use, making them a great choice for developing golfers.
Ping: Ping provides lightweight clubs and junior sets designed to help young players improve their game.
Conclusion
Investing in the right boys golf equipment is crucial for nurturing young talent and ensuring that your child enjoys playing the game. From lightweight clubs to high-quality golf shoes and bags, the right gear will help young golfers build their skills, boost their performance, and have fun while playing. Embrace Style and Comfort with Funny Golf Outfits for Women
When it comes to golf, there's no reason your wardrobe can’t be as fun as the game itself. Funny golf outfits for women are a fantastic way to show off your personality while maintaining comfort and performance on the course.
Tumblr media
From quirky designs to playful patterns, fun women’s golf clothes are all about combining fashion and function for the modern lady golfer. Whether you're hitting the greens with friends or competing in a tournament, there are endless options to express your unique sense of style. Here's how you can incorporate fun golf outfits for ladies into your game without sacrificing comfort.
1. Colorful Patterns for a Bold Statement
Why settle for boring when you can wear bright, bold colors and fun patterns? Funny golf outfits for women are perfect for those who love to stand out. Vibrant hues like neon greens, pinks, and oranges are trending, as are playful designs such as polka dots, stripes, and floral prints. These patterns bring an element of fun and energy to your game, helping you feel confident and stylish while you swing.
Pairing a brightly colored top with coordinating bottoms or a patterned skirt is a great way to mix fun with functionality. The key is to keep the outfit balanced—too many bold patterns can overwhelm your look. A single standout piece with neutral accents can make all the difference.
2. Comfort Meets Humor
Who says fun women’s golf clothes can’t be comfortable? Choose materials that are breathable, moisture-wicking, and flexible. Whether you prefer a stretchy skort or a loose, flowing dress, comfort is just as important as the style. Many golf brands now offer performance fabrics that allow for maximum movement, ensuring you’re not only looking good but also playing your best.
Adding humorous elements to your outfit, such as socks with quirky prints or a cap with a funny slogan, can also enhance your look. A witty tee that reads, "This is my tee time" or a cap that says "Fore!" adds a touch of personality while staying golf-appropriate.
3. Accessories That Pop
Accessories are a fun way to elevate your golf outfit without going overboard. Choose fun accessories like patterned visors, colorful golf gloves, or even funky golf shoes. These pieces of flair allow you to express your personal style in a way that’s both playful and functional. A fun, themed golf bag or towel can also add a little humor to your setup.
If you're attending a golf event with friends, consider coordinating your outfits. You could all wear matching fun golf outfits for ladies, complete with custom embroidery or fun sayings on your apparel, creating a cohesive look that stands out while still looking polished.

Visual Presents – part 3
I chose the Riviera Country Club as the venue for this event. The reason is that this venue offers a private, luxurious, yet relaxed environment for the event. The date I selected is Saturday, June 7, 2025, because it marks the start of summer—it won’t be too cold or too hot, and the grass and trees will be green.
The initial event names I considered were: Summer on the Green with Lululemon, Chill & Swing: Lululemon Golf Launch Event, and Summer Fun Golf Games with Lululemon. But I didn't end up using any of them, haha. The final name I chose is Lululemon Golf Launch Event—I think it's more straightforward, clearly indicating that it’s a Lululemon product launch focused on golf, and it keeps things clean.
I also planned to create merchandise for attendees as giveaways, including golf balls with the Lululemon logo, hats, gloves, water bottles, towels, and tote bags. However, there isn’t quite enough time to make all of these (laugh-cry emoji), I used one week – 11 hours (Oct 21, 23) to research on golf, lululemon and product launch event, decide colors, remake the logo and narrow down what I should design for the event, and used two weeks – 32 hours (Oct 28, 30, Nov 01, 04, 06, 07, 08) to do the actual design, find mockups and do the mockups.
I wasn’t initially planning to redesign the logo, but I saw that other classmates had redesigned theirs, so I started with a spontaneous idea—to add a golf ball and golf tee, since I decided to make this a golf launch event, and it needed some golf elements. I tried replacing the upside-down water drop in the current Lululemon logo with a golf ball and tee. I experimented with a couple of different designs; please see the picture below. For the text in the logo, I kept Lululemon’s bold sans-serif font and added "GOLF" in uppercase with a serif font behind it (I actually got this idea from NIKEGOLF). I then played with different text compositions, but lululemonGOLF looked best.
For the colors, I chose hues from the mood board I made. The overall color scheme in the mood board is blue, green, and cream yellow, so these three became the main colors I used for this project.
For this launch event, I created:
Two golf balls
Two billboards
A couple of invitation cards
Two guest passes
One activities overview map: The map is in 2.5D. I’ve always wanted to try 2.5D, as it’s quite popular in design trends right now but haven’t had the time until now. I thought this was a good opportunity to try it, especially since Lululemon made a 2.5D activities overview map for an event they held in China.
I still have other items to create, like smoother ephemera, stickers, and beer cans, etc. I actually began by looking at mockups first and then used those files to develop the designs. I feel that working this way gives me guidance on what to design and makes it easier for me to maintain a consistent visual style (I have too many ideas and not enough time, haha!).
