So I saw someone mention Namy Gaga on here and... well, if you want more context, I'm more than happy to provide links (to videos by Biotex Racoon on Youtube - overall they do a good job at detailing credible information regarding Namy's actions (English subtitles are needed btw)) for more context:
Part 1: https://youtu.be/tYptunXswYI?si=omEUyuajQwhUUZK7
Part 2.1: https://youtu.be/sjwFO6v8j84?si=dqvPyc5ourgKjGYo
Part 2.2: https://youtu.be/hOsdtXk4P_U?si=aSNa9cye6qUarQUi
Part 3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcrRkJPeQKg
I'm actually surprised not enough people are aware of her actions, which is actually worrying to me given that she still has her online platforms (Youtube, Deviantart, Tumblr, Insta, Cara, Twitter, etc.) despite the hurt she has caused.
The reason why I'm not showing images/evidence for some of her actions on here is because I want to maintain my anonymity for my own safety (since Namy has had a history of harassing her critics and manipulating her fanbase to harass those who publicly bring awareness to her behaviour) and Tumblr doesn't allow you to share images in an anonymous ask.
If you want a summary of some of the more egregious things she's done, I'll quickly provide one below (with the appropriate disclaimers and content warnings for any readers ofc).
SOME DISCLAIMERS/NOTES:
TO ANYONE READING THIS: Please DO NOT send harassment to either Namy or anyone else involved.
TO ANYONE READING THIS: Please DO NOT contact/harass Namy’s current partner or any of her family as, to my knowledge, they have no involvement in the incidents I’ll be discussing.
TO ANYONE READING THIS: Two things can be true at once. Namy should be held accountable for her actions regardless of her LGBTQ+ experiences AND invalidating/disrespecting the identities of Namy and those involved (her victims included) is bad and sets an awful precedent when it comes to cases like this.
Namy was born in October 1998 and currently lives in Mexico (as per her DeviantArt bio).
At the time the majority of the incidents that I’ll discuss were documented (2015-2024), Namy had been very open about her lesbian identity and a lot of her work features LGBTQ+ characters and relationships (mostly those under the sapphic umbrella). As of me writing this, she still identifies as lesbian/sapphic (“I still like women, I have a sexual and romantic preference for feminine traits, I don't care if the person is a trans girl, an androgynous person or a genderless person or many, as long as they look feminine, I like it”).
For the majority of her online presence, Namy identified as a cis woman, but explored androgynous gender expression (e.g. fashion) in ~2022-2023. As of August 2024, Namy opened up about being genderfluid. While Namy still prefers “she/her” (which I will be using here), she doesn’t mind being referred to as a guy.
Some of the controversies Namy has been involved in have been omitted from this ask, either because they were caused by a genuine misunderstanding, were resolved privately, were just blown out of proportion by some people to justify harassment, and/or will take focus away from the more concerning incidents should I discuss them here.
When discussing some individuals, certain details have be changed/omitted to respect their privacy and to prevent further harassment.
Despite the substantial evidence supporting the testimonies of those she hurt, I regrettably need to state that, until Namy has been trialled and convicted in a court of law, she is innocent until proven guilty (that, however, is a legal disclaimer and should not be misconstrued as me dismissing the aforementioned evidence).
As a FNAF fan since mid-2019, I used to be a casual fan of Namy’s FNAF AU from that time up until mid-2022 (when I first found out about some of the more egregious things she’s done, including what happened to one of her victims) - this is why I know a bit about her AU story and how closely tied the development of it was to the incidents I’ll discuss (essentially tarnishing the legacy of that AU).
While I will give Namy a SMALL benefit of the doubt that she has changed from certain behaviours and mindsets (e.g. transphobia), no amount of “wanting to change” will exempt her from being responsible for the hurt she caused to her victims and any legal consequences that she will have to face for that.
CONTENT WARNING FOR MENTIONS OF:
Predatory/abusive relationships
Inappropriate and illegal/immoral NSFW artwork
Queerphobia including but NOT limited to:
Transphobic remarks
Fetishisation/harmful depictions of bisexual women (in a fictional context in her FNAF AU, but still has worrying implications)
Distasteful remarks regarding ace and pan people
Potentially harmful depictions of sexual abuse and mental health struggles experienced by LGBTQ+ characters (again, in her FNAF AU)
Harassment including but NOT limited to doxxing, sexual harassment, and spreading misinformation
Manipulative behaviours
Using slurs as a means of deriding those with genuine criticisms/concerns
Basically, here is the summary:
Namy has had a long history of creating NSFW artwork condoning/romaticising incest (e.g. one of the romantic pairings in her FNAF AU being of Circus Baby/Brenda and her adoptive mother Ballora/Roselle) and the sexualisation of teenagers/children (e.g. her infamous TOH comic), some of which date back as far as 2014/2015. As of 2024, she claimed that she has removed those pieces from all of her NSFW platforms, but as of me writing this, they're all still up on her Baraag account.
She has swung between condemning and supporting Shadman and his drawings (if you know, you know) whenever it was most convenient for her, claiming that he was one of her inspirations when it came to drawing NSFW artwork herself from a very young age.
In 2018, Namy harassed another FNAF AU creators (Ed00chan), claiming that her FNAF AU was better and making a couple of what I can only describe as harassment drawings (both of which are still on her Deviantart (https://www.deviantart.com/namyg/art/Pero-ke-Mrd-es-esto-NO-706449559) and one of which included the AUs of other artists who I doubt supported her harassment in any way (https://www.deviantart.com/namyg/art/FNAFNG-What-did-you-say-753972002)).
Namy has had a history of being incredibly immature and spiteful towards her critics (not the trolls, I mean those who had genuine concerns about her behaviour). In response to getting kicked out of a Welcome Home Facebook fan group in May 2023, she accused the admins of homophobia (essentially using her identity as a shield) when they were actually concerned about the safety of the other members. In the years prior to this, she had used multiple slurs to refer to her critics, such as "gringo" (a derogatory Latin Spanish term for anyone who is a foreigner, regardless of someone's skin colour or ethnic/cultural background), the n-word, and the r-slur.
In July 2023 (around the time something VERY important happened that I'll discuss later on), Namy made a Tumblr account and made two posts mocking her critics. She has since repurposed it as an ask blog, but that blog was still intended to be used to harass her critics.
In 2015, she made a post on Twitter arguing that medical transition and gender-affirming surgery was a pointless endeavour for trans and gender-diverse people, telling those who have had surgery to get a refund and calling them the latin Spanish equivalent of the f-slur (that screenshot may still be circulating on Tumblr).
In 2018, Namy made an infamous "meme comic" gatekeeping LGBTQ+ experiences (i.e. according to her logic, exploring and coming to terms with your sexuality/gender is a 'decision' and that her advice is 'the most correct') - warning that some of the comments underneath this post are pretty confronting: https://www.deviantart.com/namyg/art/LGBT-Correct-answer-Meme-757868018
In the years to follow, she has been criticised by LGBTQ+ people for a number of things including but not limited to: making distasteful comments about two pansexual characters from her FNAF AU (see in the description of this post (https://www.deviantart.com/namyg/art/FNAFNG-Pride-Month-11-881475230) and Namy's response to one of the comments of this post (https://www.deviantart.com/namyg/art/FNAFNG-Pride-Month-14-966150705)), ignoring the fact that ace and a-spec people can have relationships (translated from one of her Twitter posts in 2021: "As long as a character may be able to feel love, they have the right to have a partner"), pairing bisexual women characters in her FNAF AU with incest jokes (the adoptive daughter of Chica and Stacy/Toy Chica: https://www.deviantart.com/namyg/art/FNAFNG-Photo-album-926228818) and incestuous relationships (Circus Baby/Brenda), pairing Brenda's bisexuality and her trauma from sexual abuse (which she also fetishised in this censored drawing: https://www.deviantart.com/namyg/art/FNAFNG-Freakenda-begins-ECCHI-880842769) with said incestuous relationship without any level of sensitivity or consideration, and tagging an NSFW artwork of Poppy Partridge (a trans woman) from Welcome Home as "futanari" (a hentai genre that has been heavily criticised for fetishising trans and intersex bodies).
On two separate occasions, Namy engaged in predatory, abusive (emotionally and sexually) relationships with 16-17 year-old individuals. One of these relationships took place in 2019-2020 (Evan, a trans man who Namy dated prior to his transition - after their relationship ended, Namy would misgender and deadname him behind his back) and the other in 2020-2021 (Mely) - both of which while Namy was in her early 20s and completely aware of their ages (blackmailing Mely into keeping her age a secret).
As per their testimonies, both Evan and Mely experienced emotional/sexual abuse, romantic grooming, and manipulation from Namy. Biotex's new video details Namy specifically did to them both (warning for some of it can be incredibly distressing to read/hear about).
Namy has defended both of these relationships, even falsifying Mexican laws to downplay how illegal these relationships are (despite the fact that the ages of consent in most provinces in Mexico, including her own, is 18 - and that Mexico does not have "Romeo and Juliet laws").
After Mely cut ties with Namy, Namy allegedly continued to harass her, especially in her comments on the former's Facebook posts. In July 2023, Mely - who had come out about her experiences publicly in September 2022 - filed a lawsuit against Namy (yet to be resolved as of me writing this).
In response, Namy doxxed Mely's full legal name in a video addressing the lawsuit (which has since been deleted) and lied about the relationship, inciting her fanbase to harass Mely. This harassment worsened in December 2023, when Namy released a Google Drive attempting to paint herself as innocent and to victim-blame Mely. The Drive in question has been privated as of me writing this, but it contained screenshots and other evidence confirming that love-bombing and sexual coercion/exploitation among others were involved in this relationship (meaning they could easily be used in to support the victim’s testimony in a court of law).
Namy continues to victim-blame both Evan and Mely, despite privating the Google Drive and claiming to have apologised to both victims.
Since Biotex's newest video came out, there was a third victim (Zoe, who was one of Namy's voice actors for her FNAF AU animations since 2017 (when she was 16)) of Namy's behaviour and who knows how many others she's hurt! Even with the potential argument that Namy had no intent to have a romantic relationship with Zoe, that doesn't ignore the fact that, during 2017, Namy initiated sexually-charged conversations with Zoe, talked about ideas for NSFW art, and requested audio from Zoe to which she responded by saying that Zoe had a "sexy voice".
Thank you for reading.

i have no kind of reach in the 911 community so apologies for sending you this ask but i feel it’s the only way i can get this out there. as a bisexual, im a bit disgusted by the insistence that oliver’s interview was biphobic. genuinely, he is right. let bisexuals fuck! let him explore his sexuality! it is a natural part of life to want to explore your sexuality when you discover it, especially when you discover it later in life! there is such thing as bad bisexual representation, i would agree with that, but REALISTIC bisexual representation needs to STOP being labelled problematic or bad just because it is not the perfect correct perceived way to show that someone is attracted to more than one gender.
we are not perfect! we deserve to be represented in a way that is not perfect! i was genuinely HAPPY reading the article because it felt like finally my experiences of discovering my bisexuality somewhat later in life than most were being seen and represented! and i have seen others say the exact same.
in conclusion, verilybitchie on youtube has a very good video essay about why “good” lgbt representation is boring and misrepresentative of real experiences which i think is worth a watch for all these people insisting that bisexuality must be represented chastely. guys it’s possible to fuck in a way that is not unhealthy to you or the people you are with, it is a natural part of life.
https://youtu.be/_cR3b2Gblq0?si=ze4Lb1TDA0G1V38w
Believe me, I don't think I have any reach, but I'll still happily pass this message along!
I 100% agree that even tho there are instances of BAD representation, we can't just repeat perfect cardboard cutouts of "good" bisexuality arcs and declare anything else harmful. Especially when it would let Buck explore what his identity means to him but also be actually in character as a young, attractive guy that genuinely enjoys the physical part of relationships and as an extroverted person looking for connection with people.
Fortunately, the biphobia accusations seem to be dying down, and we have Oliver in our corner, who I'm sure is going to make sure the storyline is handled with love and meaning.
So thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and experience, and I'll definitely check out the video ❤️

well since you asked so nicely, what are all your straw hats sexuality (and gender identity?) headcanons :D
ps you dont have to explain them all if it's too much for you ^^
I love you so much for this mwah mwah /p I love when people send me asks like this <33
: ̗̀➛ [Luffy] Sexuality: Aspec. I'm very, very specific with this so I would have to write a whole paragraph to explain it well, but I'll try to do it in fewer words. I used to headcanon Luffy as asexual but the demi-sexual headcanon is growing on me. Only sexual with Zoro, though. Like- I ship Luffy with more people but imo he only feels sexually attracted to Zoro. Something something 'the bond between a captain and his first mate'. Romantic attraction: I can see him being demi-romantic (once again only romantic with Zoro. Or Sanji, even) but I personally see their relationship very Aroaspec QPR. Aromantic and Demi-sexual with a very deep bond with his first mate and his cook. Gender: Transmasc. Demi-boy. He/They. I think he, like, resonates more with being a boy but still doesn't fit the binary enough to be one. And transmasc because. Well. Have you seen him?
: ̗̀➛ [Zoro] Sexuality: Homosexual. Gay. The gayest man you've ever seen. I think he's demi-sexual too in the sense that only Luffy or Sanji would make him go insane and aroused, but he would sleep with other men just because. Like fr, just because he can. Idk. Homosexual behavior everywhere. He's so fucking gay. If there was a gay contest between OP characters he would probably win or end up in a tie with Nami, Law, and Kid. Romantic attraction: Demi-romantic. This dude is obsessed with his captain only. First mate things. I seriously believe that being a first mate makes you inherently unable to fall in love with somebody else. Well, perhaps Sanji too, but I'm not that much of a Zosan so I don't think about how they would work. And still, he'd be Demiro anyway. Gender: Transmasc guy because, once again, have you seen him? Dude even has a scar on his chest. Man tits. Love him. He/Him.
: ̗̀➛ [Nami] Sexuality: Graysexual Lesbian. Some might argue with me on this because she has a different girlfriend every arc, but I honestly think that she only feels genuine sexual attraction sometimes and it's not often. Playfully flirting doesn't equal genuine sexual attraction. Romantic attraction: Grayromantic Lesbian. Because, once again, people might not agree with me, but I think she doesn't have crushes often and she falls into more of a romantic gray area. Never with men, though. God forbid. Never with men. That much is clear, I hope. Gender: Demi-girl. She/They. My babygirl. My girlboss. Like I said with Luffy, I think she embraces being a girl but still doesn't fall into that term exactly and doesn't mind They/Them or more androgynous looks/terms at all. In fact, she loves them.
: ̗̀➛ [Usopp] Sexuality: Bisexual. I love him. He be pulling blonde bitches everywhere and by blonde bitches I mean Kaya and Sanji. Something that always makes me and my BFF laugh is the fact that he's canonically very normal about women's bodies, unlike Brook or Sanji or even Franky. Like, he's pretty decent and respectful and he's, well, a normal human being. I appreciate the bare minimum when half of the characters are perverts sometimes. Romantic attraction: Birromantic. Pretty much the same thing I just said. Simple guy. So true, king. Although I like the Demi-romantic headcanon and I think he doesn't really get love at first sight and would be bothered by Sanji's view on this. I think Usopp is somebody who needs intimacy to develop a romantic crush on someone. So, yeah, I also like the demi-romantic thing but this could be just me trying to make everyone Arospec for no reason other than projecting. Gender: Non-binary. He/They but prefers They/Them, he just doesn't expect people to use those pronouns, and it isn't that big of a deal. Also transmasc. I'm obsessed with that, honestly. However, I think he wouldn't use the term Non-binary? I think he'd just use Unlabeled, perhaps.
: ̗̀➛ [Sanji] Sexuality: Bisexual with a high preference for girls. For obvious reasons. Romantic attraction: Birromantic too. He's a hopeless romantic. Believes in love at first sight and everything. Gender: Transfem. Genderfluid. Any pronouns. I love you, Sanji. You're real to me. And I'm not explaining my reasons for these headcanons because watching the show is enough for you to understand this, but between his trauma and Momoiro Island... Like... I know what you are, girly pop. The closet is glass and the egg is hatching and you need to come out. Oda, please, let her ou-
: ̗̀➛ [Chopper] This one's just, like, Chopper. Chopper is Chopper. I don't think about this much. He canonically likes female reindeer. I have nothing else to say. Gender? Little guy. Sexuality? Honestly, if somebody gives him a reindeer boyfriend I support that. So bisexual and birromantic, I guess. I don't know how it works for him. I don't think he cares. It's not that he's too young because he's canonically a teenager already, I just don't think they've encountered enough reindeer for me to form an opinion on this. Why the hell am I writing so much to say something so fucking stupid. I'm sorry. Let's move on.
: ̗̀➛ [Vivi] Sexuality: Demi-sexual Lesbian. I don't think she's ever thought about sex as something she wants or feels attracted to. At least not until Nami shows up. Romantic attraction: Lesbiab. Lebanese. Dyke. Bollera in Spanish. Girl kisser. Woman liker. Homosexual. No men allowed between her legs and her heart. Friend of Ellen, as Annie Edison would say. Gender: I think she's a cis girl. She/Her. Would literally punch violently anyone who misgendered somebody from the crew. My princess. My girlfriend, actually. Her pronouns are loveof/mylife.
: ̗̀➛ [Robin] Sexuality: Bisexual but also probably Graysexual because I don't think she feels attraction often and doesn't really get aroused if it doesn't come with other emotions. Preference for big, and gentle men. By big, gentle men I mean Franky and Jinbe. And by gentle I mean Brook. The four of them together, btw. Romantic attraction: Birromantic. I think she's just, like, vibing. Learning to love. She has so much trauma she deserves to be in a tender relationship and she just happens to be with four men but she knows how to appreciate a woman. Gender: Transfem. She/Her. You know those older trans women who give the most comforting, calm, mature energy in the world? That's Nico Robin. Gonna keep it SFW but she tops Franky 100%. And also helped Sanji with her transition. I love this. Please adopt me, Robin. She's perfect.
: ̗̀➛ [Franky] Sexuality: Bisexual. If a man doesn't know how to appreciate another man's beauty, then he isn't manly enough. Women are perfect. Men are perfect. He's wonderful. I love him. Romantic attraction: Birromantic. I swear to fucking god he has something going on with Jinbe and Brook and Robin. I am so not normal about them- Gender: Cis man but he'd probably consider being a cyborg a third, secret gender, so I'm gonna let him have that too. He/Him.
: ̗̀➛ [Brook] Sexuality: Bisexual classy grandpa. The fact that he's a gentle grandpa has a lot to do with his sexuality (no it doesn't). He might be a pervert around women but at least he supports consent, so, he's better than Sanji here. Romantic attraction: Grayromantic because I feel he doesn't get real crushes easily. Especially since his boyfriend (his former captain) died. The trauma he probably has around romance now, damn. Gender: Hear me out he's the most Unlabeled thing ever. He/They. He's just bones and most people don't even know how to tell the difference between sexes when it comes to bones. Robin is actually the only one who knows his AGAB and she doesn't care anyway, so. Gender norms are bullshit and he's just the Soul King.
: ̗̀➛ [Jinbe] Sexuality: Graysexual and Bi. He's somewhere there in the Ace spectrum. I just don't know where. I think he's, like, not that interested in bodies and sex? He would only have sex with somebody he loves and it wouldn't even be for the arousal and the attraction. Romantic attraction: Demi-romantic, which is not the same as gray. Because I think he'd need, like, to spend time with Robin/Franky/Brook to form a deep bond and then he'd slowly and gently start falling for them individually. I swear I am so normal. Please, they should adopt me. I want the four of them to be my parents. Gender: Cis man. He/Him. Biggest trans supporter in the whole fucking world.
The Going Merry is actually called the Going Liberal and the Thousand Sunny is technically the Theysand Sunny and with the help of their ships the straw hats are trying to find the Woke Piece.

Genuine Q: how is the boys only sign a gay proof for Mike Wheeler and a sign that he isn’t bi? Isn’t he just saying “Boys Only” because they go into a men’s space? Like they weren’t gonna go into a women’s bathroom/locker room? And Lucas goes with them, so if that’s “gay Mike proof,” wouldn’t that make Lucas gay too? Saying “boys only” is not a gay thing either in general, lots of media has moments where straight male characters break off for “bro talk” or “just the guys” and it has nothing to do with their sexuality. Are guys not allowed to socialize with their gender without it being a queercoding clue? (Is it lesbian when girls go into the bathroom together?)
see i was debating the value of presenting my arguments because i truly don't know if you're up for civil discussing or not, but i'm giving you the benefit of the doubt here.
dear anon. your first mistake here is watching and thinking of the show as one dimentional : aka, you think of mike as a person with free will figuring out how to go about trapping a dangerous murderous cunt inside a sauna. in a non meta way, in their world, it is absolutely what's happening, it's just mike stating "i figured something out, will, lucas, follow me." but a tv show is two dimentional : there is a meta layer to the dialogues, to the set design, to the character blocking etc. there are a lot of thoughts put into those decisions, and writers have a lot of fun figuring out how stuff something that on surface level is innocent and devoid of importance with double meaning. i'll give you one example, when will is encouraging el when she's called to do a presentation for class, you can read the word "HENRY" above his neck. in THEIR world, this is just a random name that happens to have been written on a piece of paper and stuck to the wall after discussing whatever henry dude will and el's curiculum asked the teachers of california to talk about. in OUR world, as people watching a tv show, the set design decision to place it here, the director's decision to have the cameraman do this specific shot and to place noah in this specific way is foreshadowing. it's a hint. it's a meta detail. it SHOULD mean something to you. another example ! jason telling lucas "you first hangover feels like you're going to split in two" is not about jason knowing he was quite literally going to end up split in two, he is just recounting his experience with his first hangover to lucas. to US, in a meta way, it's significant, because it was foreshadowing, it was a hint, it was MEANINGFUL. it wasn't a random choice of words from the writers that coincidentally ended up lining up with jason's death down the line. it was INTENTIONAL. jason as a person was not saying anything more than just "man hungovers are a real bitch lol", jason as a tv show character was quite literally telling us how he was going to meet his demise. another one : max in the school's bathroom. there is a graffiti on the wall with "i see you" and a little doodle of two blue eyes. in their world, whoever wrote this was obviously not doing this in vecna's name. it's a random person who randomly decided oto have some fun and graffiti this particular thing. in a meta way, this is referencing vecna. it's not a coincidence. especially considering this is a max scene and her arc is very closely linked to vecna this season. do you see where i'm going with this ? mike in hawkins indiana 1985, saying "i have an idea, boys only." is just letting lucas and will know that he figured out how to stop billy and that this plan requires going somewhere max and el can't follow. in their world, that's it ! but in our world, in the double meaning way (which is a very real thing, if you insinuate the stranger things dialogue, or most of cinema dialogues are "not that deep" you are quite literally insulting writers everywhere, like. straight up), in the "this is a character who's words are chosen by someone else with purpose" way, this particular phrasing is meaningful. he didn't say "i have a plan, follow me to the men's locker room guys". the writers chose a specific phrasing. it's even more obvious recontextualized : mike JUST fought with will, who told him his obsession with growing up was ruining them and the party. mike, affected by those words tries to figure out what that whole argument and his own reaction to it means to and for him. he has an idea to figure it out, and it is to let himself wander into "what if... i was..." territory as we do see in the second half of S3. (i would include screencaps but i can't be bothered rn)
mike's reaction at the end of s3 aka the conclusion of his S3 arc (in 3 parts : pushing dnd and queerness away because it's not socially acceptable -> why am i even doing this ? why am i acting like this -> right. i'm actually gay and terrified to be.) goes something like this : a scene flirting with will, followed by a scene of el kissing him and not reciprocating, followed by a scene that is shot in the same way a scene in which a character realizes something shows us the conclusion that mike has come to about himself : yes, he is gay. his own theory about himself actually being into boys was the correct theory. i think that answers the second part of your ask. someone choosing for mike to lay out his plans with this choice of words at this particular moment in the story is heavy queercoding. had it been dustin (random choice, he wasn't even there), whose narrative is simply not mike's, it would have been meaningless. it wouldn't even have been worded like that. in the case of mike, because it is mike and because of the nature of his storyline, it isn't.

I love hearing about queer headcanons so I'll probably end up asking about all of them, but how about starting with Sumeru?
(ask in reference to this post)
YES I can do a few sumeru characters to start (heres Wanderer, Cynonari, Collei, and Nahida)
(there’s accidently aroace headcanons in 3/4 of them OOOPS)
Wanderer: talked about his gender (trans guy) here, sexuality wise I see him as gay and probably mostly t4t. I also have a vision where Wanderer has the same relationship with aro + aceness as Collei but in sort of opposite directions. So my idea is Wanderer feels a lot of alienation & detachment regarding romance & sex & shares a lot of similar experiences to aro and/or ace people, but would choose to not ID as either label because after some time he concludes his relationship with both kinds of attraction is very influenced by trauma, and it would be more healthy for him personally to work on building a positive relationship with romantic + sexual attraction since he does actually experience it. So he sits on a plane of not identifying as aro or ace but like he gets it
Collei: Collei on the other hand, in contrast to Wanderer, finds aro + ace labels really helpful for understanding herself, even if she also believes in her relationship with both kinds of attraction overlapping a lot with trauma. Because for her she genuinely just doesn’t really feel she experiences either attraction and that’s sort of a comfortable default/conclusion for her. Specifically I’d give her the demi aro and asexual labels…in my head this goes with my Tighnari & Cyno headcanons where both of them are in an aroace relationship and give her really good advice/feedback on her feelings that make her feel more able to be confident about how she feels regarding attraction. Along with that I think she’s sort of questioning sexuality labels but would refer to herself as sapphic as a shorthand explanation. Gender wise I have a few different headcanons in mind…either transfem, demigirl, or bigender/genderfluid maybe? I see her as having multiple ideas of what sort of gender presentation she wants and going between them
Tighnari + Cyno: Okay so here I need to pitch my demi-aroace Cynonari vision. I think both Cyno and Tighnari would view their own queerness in ways pretty similar to each other, and one facet of this is where they fall on the aroace spectrum. I think it aligns perfectly where they’re both like, yeah I have no interest in romance or relationships the way people usually engage with them but you’re the only one who gets the exact way I feel about it + we get along well so honestly I’m down to be in our own form of a relationship with you specifically. I don’t think they really do labels with a lot of things: both of them are trans + non binary in one way or another, and both use gay/queer as identifying terms, but don’t have a lot of specifications beyond using umbrella labels really. They’re just chilling. As established this ends up being a good fit for their dynamic with Collei bc I think it gives her a lot more confidence about navigating her own queerness seeing Cynonari just kind of hang out and do their own thing
Nahida: she’s baby and does not strike me as someone who is going to think about romance or sexuality until she’s a lot older. I think if you asked Nahida to explain her gender to you she would probably employ a lot of very confusing metaphors you do not understand, all in an attempt to articulate what I’d write as a pretty shared experience between all the Archons in how they view gender. They seem to like…view themselves as genderless but sometimes opting into gender if they feel like it—and tend to intuitively relate it to their element. Which means the most you get from Nahida’s metaphors is she’s telling you her gender is plant and you do not get it but it doesn’t seem wrong so what can you do. I also have this additional thought I think is funny about Wanderer and Nahida having very deep philosophical discussions about immortal gender at 3 in the morning. In the context of the English language at least I think we need to tell Nahida about neopronouns I think she’d be a fan. So in summary she’s kind of baby and is not giving this stuff much thought right now but also being a god in my gender impact dimension kind of inherently makes you ponder the orb (gender)

haircut!anon again: ok. wow. had to slam my phone down in my uni computer lab and wait until i could string together a coherent thought again. first off like au itself on back burner your MIND and the way you construct this narrative is INCREDIBLE and so raw adn true and pulling on the queer (as in deviant and as in gay) hair experince sooo deeply i feel soooooo deeply you are a magician. further. i was PICTURING max in braids and god fuck the tenderness of charles and max setting their mise en place and sitting together and braiding her hair before their prey comes in…. god. jesus. i can't stop re-reading the snippets. FUCK! sorry this isn't coherent thoughts after all. max and control and cutting charles' hair. fuck me uppp….
anon! i spent so long smiling like an idiot because of this ask, at this point you're basically my betrothed <3
but yeah, you get it. at the core of max and charles' relationship is truly their hounded devotion and acceptance of one another. the queer experience really is defined by those you hold close, and it's been interesting (for me) to try and thread that idea through this greater story about desire and hunger in a way that feels genuine. i've pulled on a lot of my personal experiences of being a young lesbian and being guarded about sexuality, but ultimately it all comes back to (like you mentioned) the idea of relinquishing some control and feeling comfortable enough with someone to let go of the safety of doing things alone.
i also love love love giving characters their own little rituals, and seeing as how max and charles both have a lot of emotional connections to their hair/haircuts/etc. the braids were an easy decision.
(more about max and her relationship to hair below the cut)
there's this really interesting article by Amelia Abraham titled 'What butch queer identity has to do with hair' that got put out by Dazed in 2022. it primarily covers a photography exhibition called Close Shave—which centers itself around butch haircuts and identity—but also goes into the cultural relevance of 'masc' hairstyles and their role in queer (mainly lesbian) expression.
i remembered and re-read it when i was in the early stages of fleshing-out max's character. i recommend the article to everyone, but especially people who are maybe looking to better understand the history of butch optics, and kind of where i'm coming from with some of max's characterization.
(see one of my favorite quotes from the article below)
While having short hair and identifying as butch don’t necessarily come as a pair, for butch people, haircuts can be transformational – getting your hair cut off brings you closer to your gender identity.
like I mentioned in the the answer to your previous ask, max's haircut kind of serves as a physical manifestation of her relationship with her father, and more specifically, how that relationship influences her feelings of shame (and eventually acceptance) towards her own sexuality.
part of the reason that max is so struck by charles saying she'd let her cut her hair is in large part because, for max, hair is incredibly representative of an individual's ability to control how others perceive and relate to them. by breaking the ritual with her mother, charles is essentially showing max that she not only finds comfort with her, but also trusts her enough to have her identity placed in her hands.
i could honestly talk about this forever... since body politics and queerness are things i'm just genuinely very passionate about... but i will save the innocent bystanders of this blog from having to read through all of that in one sitting.
(anyways, i'm so happy that people are as invested in this as i am... keep sending me long asks like this... if you couldn't already tell i'll take any opportunity to talk more about this au)

Okay, so lately I've been seeing a lot of mixed feelings (namely on Twitter) about the announcement of Bendy: Dreams Come to Life getting a graphic novel iteration. There is a LOT to talk about when it comes to this thing, and maybe I'll discuss it more another time, but today I wanna talk about the thing I've been hearing the most: strong feelings about having canonical designs for the human versions of some of our favorite characters.
In Dreams Come to Life, we have physical appearances from the following BATIM characters (that I can remember off the top of my head, I may be missing some):
Joey Drew
Sammy Lawrence
Norman Polk
Thomas Connor
Allison Pendle
Bertrum Piedmont
Wally Franks (this one I'm unsure on, it's been a hot minute)
This means that for the first time, we're gonna know what all of them look like as humans in the minds of the game developers, since, let's be real, if they're doing this thoughtfully, there is likely a lot of communication with the artist they got for this book. Making sure these characters fit their vision is a very probable priority.
In this fandom, we have had the freedom to design whatever the heck we want for the human versions of these characters. And that has been so much fun. You've had all sorts of takes, from characters mirroring their voice actors to completely original things that you never would have expected. Some things would pop up consistently in fan designs, and others would be an occasional pleasant surprise. We've seen a lot of things tweaked over the years, sometimes because we latch onto designs we like from artists we've met in the fandom and incorporate them into our own. Sometimes it's because we get new information in the canon, like Sammy confirmed to be blonde in The Illusion of Living (EDIT: I was extremely wrong on this, he is not confirmed blonde in this book, but he does have long and floppy hair that Joey thought should be slicked back more, and also Jack had some wild fashion), Allison is platinum blonde in DCTL, Wally having a hat as of his YouTube audiolog, Shawn and Tom wearing belts as of Boris and the Dark Survival, Tom being a wall of a man, Bertrum being a bear of a guy, etc. But even before Wally was confirmed to have a hat, a lot of us gave him a hat anyway, because the idea of him with a hat is fun! Bertrum being large, Tom being really tough! Heck, I saw a number of blonde Susies and Allisons before we got that bit on Allison, because it's fun to contrast their looks with that of Alice. That's the spirit of all of this, we make these designs because it's fun! You have characters all across the board in terms of race, sexuality, gender identity, age, body types, etc, because it's fun to imagine the possibilities for all of them with this cast that we love (and sometimes connect with them on a personal level), regardless of what's "canon" or not.
One of the things I'm hearing a lot is that some people don't want canon designs, and it sounds like it stems from a fear that they can't make their own designs anymore. And for those people, I'd like to ask, when has that ever stopped us? I mean that as a genuine question, I'm not here to mock anyone. Like, my first big fandom experience was over with Sonic as a teenager, and I never dreamed of deviating from the canon because I just, did not have any experience with that at the time. Bendy was really good for showing me that there's a LOT of ways the fandom experience can go, especially on this front. When Bendy and the Dark Revival came out, and we got two really major reveals for character designs: Memory Joey and Henry Stein. Henry, a character fans have been designing for YEARS, a character shrouded in mystery, finally got a confirmed design, and you know what happened? We started drawing this new design, but we didn't stop drawing our fan designs just because we got this new one. BATDR Henry has kind of been adopted into the fandom the same way we do designs for AUs, he's just another AU guy that happens to be canon to the sequel game. Heck, I love seeing art where fandom takes on Henry are interacting with BATDR Henry, it's really sweet honestly.
And that's exactly the attitude I have towards this graphic novel. It does not matter how these characters are designed, we are still valid and allowed to make whatever the heck we want. And if people really try to gatekeep it and scream that you're only allowed to draw the canon, I think that says more about them than it does anything else. Go draw what makes you happy (so long as it's not hurting anyone, obviously there is some nuance here but that is a whole other can of worms)! The only thing that this actually changes (or at least, what I'm guessing will change) is what's gonna fly when it comes to stuff like the fan art contests and challenges/what the devs might choose to retweet in terms of fan art. But that's only one part of the fan art scene. Otherwise, go fandom your way! No one is stopping you, draw what makes YOU happy. I am still going to draw a pointy blonde disaster of a music director however I please, even after we see Sammy in canon. Because darn it I like my Sammy, he is my strawberry blonde (depending on the world, sometimes it's more ashy) buffoon, and one new version of a book doesn't change my love for that.
That said, I am really curious how the teams behind this series imagine these characters. I feel the same way about it that I do my fellow fan artists. To me this really is just another AU, the DCTL AU. I think I'm less curious about the game characters and more about the characters native to this book, and that's got more to do with, well, I don't see a lot of people designing them! There's some, but they're not flooding my timeline like the game characters do. Like, I've designed the DCTL art department before for a Sims game, but I haven't gone much farther than that. I wanna know what Abby looks like, give me her fashion! I wanna see Buddy, Dot, and Jacob! I'm still keeping my Jacob design regardless, I love playing with him, but gosh do I wanna know what Jacob looks like in canon. Same with Dot. I have a lot of hopes for both of them, and I'm trying to lower my expectations so as not to be disappointed if it doesn't turn out that way. Like Dot has potential to be our first plus sized Bendy character given how she's described (also the first to wear glasses), of COURSE I want to see that! She's my writer girl that's super sus and incredibly interesting to me personally, I love her! And then I have more information to consider when I go to design my dolls (because believe you me, dolls based on the books have been on my list for a LONG time). I'm curious how much input Adrienne Kress will have here as the author, like I would love to know what's going on in her mind with these characters!
Whatever happens next, the most important thing to remember is that you're free to create whatever you like. Go make things that make you happy. That's all the devs are doing in the end, and if it's good enough for them, it's more than good enough for us. Bendy is made the way it is (hopefully) because that's what they wanted to make. Like why make an indie project that makes you miserable, you know? I don't know what to think of this new graphic novel, but whatever happens, I'm gonna take it with a grain of salt and keep doing what I always do: make my own fun out of what we're given. That's what fandom is, a place to enjoy a piece of media. And everyone enjoys this sort of thing differently. Find what works for you.

Hello, Hello!
Greetings to all! I suppose an introduction is due. You can call me Vee. I'm nothing more than a humble traveler and merchant, though it seems my wares aren't in very high demand, nowadays!
I do have a few Pokémon of my own, though my Partner would be my dear Togekiss, Precor. She's been with me for a long time.
There isn't much to be said of me. I'm quite knowledgeable when it comes to myths and history, however! If you should have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them.
-
Yello. Yeah it's Lane again. Explosion noises. Main is @the-drayster. Apologies for the long OOC section, but since I genuinely have a bit of a plot planned here, there's a bit of important stuff I need to get out of the way.
This is a blog for Volo from Legends: Arceus! But, with a bit of a twist! He's in modern times >:) I won't be talking much about the specifics of why or how, but I do want to say that Volo, or "Vee", is in modern Sinnoh.
Tumblr media
Disclaimer! This blog will feature themes of Religion and Religious trauma. If that makes you uncomfortable, this will probably not be the blog for you. I find it difficult to judge what is deserving of being tagged and what isn't, so for the most part, unless I think something is reasonably extreme, it will go untagged. Feel free to ask me to tag something in particular, though.
Volo is not a necessarily "good" person. I am not trying to make him a good person. What he is, however, is someone who's trying to do a good thing. His plan to recreate the world is founded in a sense of care and duty. In his mind, whatever horrible actions he takes to reach that goal are worth it. The end result outweighs the atrocities. He is still working towards this goal, and he will continue to do so.
Volo will frequently be subjected to the horrors. Feel free to bully him of your own accord as well!
Volo is somewhere between agender and non-binary. The gender is there, but it is VERY vague. He goes by all pronouns, though he will most often refer to himself with he, they, and it. (Small note, like I said above, bullying him is perfectly acceptable, and you can try to get in his head about gender and whatnot, but that. Really won't work well. He simply does not care enough to be affected.)
Now for little rules and whatnot:
Please please please don't have your character recognize Volo right away, unless they have a reasonable excuse to do so, such as having known him in Hisui times. An Akari blog can go "Hey don't I know you" but some random other character can't. You can say he looks familiar, or like that one guy in the history books or whatever, but don't go straight out with "Aha! You are Volo from Hisui who tried to end the world!!" No. That isn't any fun. If you try to do that I'll ignore you. That being said you can absolutely say he looks like Cynthia.
No NSFW. Explicit things, specifically of the sexual nature, are not allowed. Use your brain on this. Making a penis joke is fine. A graphic description of a penis is not.
Magic anons are not allowed unless I make a specific exception. If you really want to try something, message me! Communication is ALWAYS appreciated.
Sapient pokemon, including Legendaries, are absolutely allowed to interact! Please keep in mind, though, that Volo might get Weird about it. Especially when it comes to Legendaries.
Pelipper mail is allowed!

Would love to hear your thoughts on Rhaenyra and Gender. In general but also if/how that has impacted your writing. You always have great takes :)
this is gonna be looooooong
So actually, I was thinking about this a bit when I first read your new work, Ember to Flame (which you all can and should read here!) You chose to cast Rhaenyra's character as non-binary, and I was curious how this would impact the personal characterisation—and found, maybe tellingly, or just testament to you, that it really didn't. She was quite recognisable. This isn't to say that Rhaenyra isn't a woman in canon—she is, of course, and I don't want to come off as minimising that element of her identity; I don't take it or treat it as a footnote. But canonical Rhaenyra, to speak in Judith Butler's terms, is simply not interested in much of what goes into performing her gender; and to that end is very much reliant on her station—the divine right to rule, and also her pet nuke—to free her from most of the social confines and conventions that would otherwise force her to do so.
And in some sense this can all come back around to the larger, more important question—where is the line between identity and performance, i.e., if a woman wears a suit, is that her acting or being masculine?; or is it wrong to say suits belong solely to men and masculinity and maleness in the first place? If Rhaenyra allows herself space to be sexually aggressive, pursuing Harwin and pursuing Daemon, does that make her less 'feminine'? Or should femininity as a concept expand to include that behaviour? —which I'm certainly not qualified to answer. I suppose I'm only grateful—and honestly just really excited—to be living in a time, and to be part of a generation, where these questions are actually, meaningfully, being asked.
In any case, when I approached who and what Rhaenyra would be in the modern world, in my own estimation, I imagined she'd be much freer, even moreso than in canon, to shirk the Butlerian performance of femininity where it didn't fit with who or what she, as an individual, actually was or wanted. I suppose viewed in the binary context, Rhaenyra is a naturally more 'masculine' character, if you subscribe to all that. As D'Arcy put it, she's got that 'masculine leadership and fiery decisive thing people seem to like.' She's interested in exploring the in-between and pushing the envelope and finding the edges of those rules—obviously because they confine her greatest desire, to earn her father's pride, but also because she, much like Arya, is just naturally disinterested in the activities prescribed to girls of her station; I also think that the young Rhaenyra of the first few episodes genuinely, in her heart of hearts, does not understand the difference between herself and the concept of 'her father's son,' apart from the biological obvious. Rhaenys tells her the truth and she's unwilling to believe it, I think partially because she—maybe only stubbornly—just cannot find the foundational logic. I am my father's child, I am a dragonrider, I am a Targaryen, the end.
(I am often frustrated by certain criticisms of Rhaenyra's character in this regard—'she's spoiled', people say, 'she's selfish, she's egoistic, she's headstrong.' Well, yes! She's a royal prince! I'll wait while you tell me who under the Sun would be more inclined to be egoistic or headstrong or entitled than that! She does not need to earn or deserve her power—in the world of Westeros, she is quite literally entitled to it. 'Heir to the Throne', i.e., Princess of Dragonstone—and not to belabour the point—is indeed her title!)
The difference between Rhaenyra and Alicent is much like the difference between Arya and Sansa—it's a yarn ball of stuff: the differing alignment of their genuine human interests with their gendered activities and destinies; their differing levels of resignation to the confines of their gender; and the general manner in which each, as a person, prefers to pursue their self-interest, be it balls-out and fuck-all or methodically and strategically and carefully.
You'll notice I cast her in flat shoes and tailored suits in grey ridge, primarily because I believe Rhaenyra, when in business settings and while at war, would probably prefer the physical freedom and power-performance offered by flat shoes and tailored suits. But of course this is a response to being a woman in a male-dominated profession, heading up an enterprise that has been heretofore passed father to son and run by men—so I guess reasonable people could argue in circles about it. In the modern world, the process of heir-bearing would not necessarily have to happen on her body, as D'Arcy once put it. As much as Rhaenyra, I think, canonically revered as much as resented the act of childbearing, I think she'd have equally relished in that experience of giving her wife a baby, and nurturing her through that process, the act of devotion that is Alicent giving her one. (I also hinted that it was an open question between them—you might have caught that one line, if you have the baby I'll bake you a cake—and also imagined it as being very practically influenced by the relative moments in their careers; and, of course, the obvious concern of Rhaenyra's familial medical history of fatal complications in childbirth.) But this is probably all in the weeds.
Anyway, huge topic—grand question—no idea if this was responsive. I think Rhaenyra is one of those extraordinary characters who really is who she is, you know, and I suppose like all artists I have to throw in the towel and admit I write her primarily on ethos, on vibe. But I hope you enjoyed this little musing despite it being book-length lol.

Introduction
I'm William E. Schenk. Will is fine, Willy is less fine, just don't call me 'Detective.' Never.
I probably wasted the last fifteen years of my life chasing someone, but I've got a passion project in progress right now, and it's going great. Really killer results. :)!
Feel free to throw anything my way, I'm on here for the experience, whatever that'll be.
----
Roleplay account dedicated to William Emmerson/Schenk from the movie "Spiral: From the Book of Saw"
Hi! Thanks for checking out this character account! It's my first, not sure how much people will care for a William Schenk blog (since people adore Spiral /sarcasm) but Willy is here to party, talk to anyone (saw oc accounts, other saw character accounts, anons) and piece his life and who he is back together after being disappointed by his failed fifteen year "recruitment effort". (Zeke Banks 🤫) He's still spiral killing!
Feel free to bother him whenever about anything!! Forever! On any type of post! In any way!
Heavy emphasis on the "figuring out who he is" line. He has been a man on a mission since age twelve, that's why there's nothing about his hobbies or identity (gender, pronouns, sexuality). Making this up as I go, who William is will be shaped by the interactions he has on this blog!
I'll do my best to be in-character! (If you want to refer to me for any reason, you can call me 'Ari', any pronouns.)
// symbol signifies that something is ooc and from me
Feel free to ask genuinely anything! Please!! Go wild!
Sometimes I take a long time to respond to interactions and asks, I apologize for the wait but I can get very lost in thought about these things. I'll often think about how William would respond/react to things for days on end, so if you're wondering what's taking Will so long, it's likely just me rotating what you've written in my mind, checking my notes, and rewatching scenes. (If you think you are cringe, rest assured: I am worse)
Trigger warning for the usual Saw Franchise topics: All types of violence/Nsfw mentions
I know William doesn't know any of the other Saw characters at all, but I'm sure he'd like to meet some of them!
Some tags:
#William's Blog - All of William's posts and interactions without running into the same reblogs repeatedly
#Spiral Killer William - Whenever William eludes to being the Spiral Killer or discusses his work as the Spiral Killer.
#William Socializes - William talking to other rp blogs (I will use this one all the time for every interaction, it's just fun)
#William Talks - William shouts into the void (talks to nobody in particular)
#William Answers - For your (non rp) asks!! :) Love these!
(I can't find anything concrete on tumblr rp etiquette [I also simply don't know how Tumblr works], so feel free to let me know if there's anything I'm missing or doing incorrectly! Pls!)

heya, do u think youll be posting the results of the trigun self ship survey anytime soon? i was genuinely curious what the results were like so id love to see what u got 0v0
I'm glad to see someone remembered--i sort of forgot my "one month" cutoff, so then I was like "well, maybe everyone forgot about it"--guess not!
But, you know what? Since you asked, I'll post the results here.
I got a total of 39 responses (which is a lot smaller than I'd hoped, but that's OK).
First off, Demographics!
Tumblr media
Most people taking the survey are 21-26, with 17-20 coming in second, 27-33 coming in third, and a small part of people in the 13-16 range.
Tumblr media
Gender identity was both surprising and unsurprising. I had to use the genderfluid/genderqueer/nonbinary option as a "catchall" because there would have been too many identities to list off overall. But that and "cisgender female" were both tied at 38.5%.
Tumblr media
Sexuality had a big variety of responses! Most people voted bisexual, but a lot of people also filled in their own answers (to varying degrees of ace/aro spectrum).
Tumblr media
In terms of terms, most people liked self-insert and self-shipper.
Tumblr media
Media consumption wasn't surprising, with most people watching both the original Trigun and the newest Trigun Stampede.
Tumblr media
Most people self insert or self ship with Vash the Stampede and Nicholas D. Wolfwood, with the third place dropping severely with Millions Knives. It drops even more severely to Milly Thompson and Livio the Double-Fang, tied at 15 votes. I respect whoever filled in a response just to say "if Vash breathes the wrong way I will rearrange his guts."
Tumblr media
And the most important character ends up pretty similarly, I'd say--Vash is the king crown at 46.2%. He's pretty important to us.
Since there's a lot of dynamics questions, I'll put them below the cut.
Tumblr media
Most people find themselves liking all parts of a character.
Tumblr media
Most people noted their relationship being in the 2-6 month range. Though four responders said theirs was longer than 8 years! That's dedication!
Tumblr media
This question was honestly hard for me to parse, but this is just about how people craft the relationship in an imagine/fantasy/art/writing/etc.
Tumblr media
Most people felt towards a more long-term relationship style. (I should have included an "it's complicated" answer, because I feel like it would have made sense for some.)
Now, for the true/false portion! Less people responded to this.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
...And that's it! The images might get compressed, so click them for better quality.
Overall, I think I got the answers I was expecting--there's a lot of skew towards a cisgender female reader insert, which can be kind of sad or almost feel unfair to those who don't fall into that category. I think if more people were encouraged to write about a different scope, or if we really hammered home that gender neutral doesn't just mean lady-lite, maybe there could be some more content for all of us.

Geoff and Duncan :P
Geoff and Duncan for the character ask game!
Sexuality Headcanon:
Geoff is as bi as the day is long. I haven't fully watched ridonculous race but I've seen how he is with Brody. cmon. "I love you, man"/"I'd marry you all over again" the subtext is just text
Duncan....... eh idk. he's straight most of the time when I think of him. though I could see him being closet gay.
Gender Headcanon:
Geoff can be a trans guy purely bc his colour palette is the trans flag. im a simple man with simple tastes.
Duncan gives nb vibes but also he's like canonically transphobic so 🤷 (im joking, mostly)
A ship I have with said character:
Brigeody. Geoff has two hands.
I don't really ship Duncan with anyone but if I had to pick someone it'd be DJ. Duncan would probably make him worse but I think there's a world where DJ can make him better
A BROTP I have with said character:
Gweoff. Their friendship was SO GOOD in that one episode and I'm genuinely sad they dropped it.
I'm the only person in the world who thinks this but I wrote an entire oneshot where Sierra and Duncan are friends and it unironically made me love their hypothetical friendship. (The Ex-Fangirl and the Ex-Con on ao3 if you're curious) I also really loved him and Gwen as friends but I'll save that for another slot
A NOTP I have with said character:
I don't really have a NOTP with Geoff. all his ships range from "Yeah!" to "ehhh whatever" in my opinion. so. yay
Gwuncan. Yeah you knew it was coming. Like. I don't understand, they were so good as friends and there was a whole thing in Action about people assuming they were a thing and Gwen especially hating it, and then suddenly come World Tour they're into each other??? what??? they were so much better as friends Why Couldn't They Have Stayed Friends. and they didn't even get time to act like a couple and then in AS all they do is argue, obsess over Courtney, and then break up so what was even the point. uuuuuuuurhggrgh I know there's people who love this ship. that's totally fine obvs. it's just a ship at the end of the day. but it really grinds my gears.
ANYWAY RANT OVER
Random headcanon:
Geoff owns loads of sunglasses. like so many sunglasses. every time he goes on holiday somewhere, or anywhere with a gift shop, he ALWAYS buys sunglasses. it's an actual problem lol
Duncan makes most/all of his own clothes and accessories. All-Stars floated the idea of him and Zoey sort of being friends, so let's go with that. they can bond over doing DIY together.
General Opinion:
Geoff's pretty cool. Not my favourite, but pretty cool. I liked how they made him more than just the chill party dude, and showed this mean streak of his during TDA. I love a good corruption arc. and Her Real Name Isn't Blaineley was top tier. overall he's pretty good
Duncan is... ehhh. My opinion on him fluctuates. Every time I think I hate him I remember the DJ's bunny incident, or him and Beth in the finals, and every time I start to like him I remember all of TDWT. I guess it boils down to: he definitely has his moments, but most often I'm indifferent to him or he annoys me, and sometimes stuff he does and says really gets under my skin. I do really like how he is in fanon most of the time, because normally I'm a sucker for the "tough guy with a soft side" trope, and TDA was easily the season I liked him most.

Can I ask, why do you love WLW romance better than Het romance? What makes them better? I did not mean anything negative, and I know everyone have their own like and dislike but I want to know your thoughts....
Also what do you think that made Asian WLW (GL manga/manhwa/manhua) romances different than western WLW romances?
This is a very good question on both fronts!
Answering the first part is easy: I prefer WLW relationships because I'm a lesbian. That's sort of all there is to it? Like, on some level, I have only been reading WLW novels for the past several years (and WLW comics since Sept '23), because hetero relationships in fiction have sort of dominated culture my whole life? I can't name a movie or a book series off hand from my childhood/teen years that did not contain a straight relationship. I would genuinely have to think about it. But, when I graduated from grad school for the first time and started to connect with reading on a level I hadn't since I was a kid-early teen, I made this very conscious decision to focus really really heavily on sapphic fiction, even more so than trans fiction even though I am trans, too. I think part of this is because I just wanted to see myself represented in the works I am reading. Another part of this is I relate more to sapphic romances. For all my life, I have only ever loved women as a woman, and that makes straight romances feel somewhat foreign to me? I think maybe it's because the way relationships are talked about in queer culture versus the way relationships are talked about in straight culture; it feels very different, though I don't have an example offhand to point to. On top of that, there is also a lot of historical precedent for lesbians feeling like their sexuality and their gender identity are somewhat meshed or intersected (if you want to know more I'd have to do like actual research lol), and I think I definitely feel that. The lesbian label is really important for me, and I think that importance draws me to WLW fiction
In terms of what makes eastern and western comics/yuri/sapphic romances different, I think that you could write an entire dissertation on this (but I'll try not to lol). Now, I am by no means an expert on Japanese or Korean cultural studies, in fact I am far from that, but I think the way the romances play out really highlights the way their cultures function differently from cultures in the west. Firstly, I think that eastern cultures place a much higher focus on cultural expectations. I would not say that eastern cultures are necessarily more conservative than western cultures (I mean, just look at any news coming out of the US, we're practically a theocracy). Instead, I would say that people living in eastern cultures are more bound by their culture. For example: in the US, or a similar western culture, it is generally ok to be gay in the 2010s and 2020s. From my understanding, this is also the case in Korea and Japan, but there is more cultural push back. I think this reality is represented in sapphic romance stories from the two places well. Look at any fiction featuring a lesbian main character coming out of America: their sexuality is never treated like some weird thing (unless the story is trying to realistically represent discrimination); instead, they just are gay. And, when a character is beginning to realize she might be a lesbian, she might have to adjust her view of herself, but it's really no big deal. On the other hand, look at Japanese yuri, especially high school stories: there is almost universally a moment where one of the characters will be like "but we're both girls!" to which the other character will be like "it's fine." I think this moment is included in those stories because the mangaka are consciously pushing back on the idea that it's wrong to be gay. A really good example of this can be seen in Rei's "it's ok to be gay monologue" in I'm in Love with the Villainess. In American fiction, something like that would likely feel unnecessary (though, for the record, I think American TV shows and movies are at the point where such a monologue is necessary, but that's a different story).
Another example can be seen in the way eastern comics treat cunnilingus. This is not a universal thing, but one trend that I've noticed in the more NSFW or smutty comics I've read is that, often, when a woman is about to go down on another woman, the one getting eaten out will protest like "no, not there" or "no, I'm not clean," and I think that this too is indicative of the ways women are entangled by cultural expectations in the east. In an America comic or novel, this would not be treated with the same hesitancy. But, in eastern cultures, there seems to almost be this expectation that the women turns down getting eaten out, only to relent and accept it when their lover insists.
I'm not sure if any of that makes sense, but it's the best I got without doing real research. Also, again, I am not an expert, so take everything I just said with about a tablespoon of salt!

I wanna practice writing full stories. I'm gonna work on posting some of them soon but you can also send me recommendations or inspiration.
(grammar and quality are not guaranteed)
What I'm willing to write:
• Fandoms I am not familiar with (I'll do my best to research and such)
• Fandoms I am familiar with for reference: (I'll edit to add more over time) • Hunger games • Stranger things • Scream Franchise • Buffy the vampire slayer • Doctor who • Supernatural • MCU • Spiderman • Bones • Harry potter (fuck j.k) • The Mike Flanagan universe • The Conjuring franchise • The Vampire Chronicles - Anne Rice • D&D • Balders Gate 3 • Good Omens • and more, just ask
• About characters above the age of 18 (if any sexual situations is involved)
• Xreaders of any gender or identities, I am lgbt and disabled, but if its about a group I am not apart of I will do the research so I can make sure its accurate, not stereotyping, not offensive, etc
• Headcanons and AUs
• No name characters for the sake of pure story prompt (example: I wish I was worse)
• Oc characters: a bit more difficult so I'd prefer either lots of details in the ask or to dm me so I can ask questions
• Non romance based stories
• Kink/kinkish dynamics, yes no smut but that doesn't mean no knives or leashes
• Polyamory
Things I won't write:
• Currently I don't want to write smut, I'm not confident in my ability to write about it so I want to practice writing in general before diving into that
• Gore, I will never write full gore, the sweet spot is between the Saw franchise (which I genuinely cannot watch) and the Scream franchise
• Pregnancy
•Real people in romantic/sexual situations, even if they have specified they are comfortable with it, I am not
• Underage characters in romantic/sexual situations
• Incest
• SA
• Overall anything I consider immoral (just incase I haven't listed it)
Other notes:
• I am up for criticism at this time as long as its in good faith
• I would like to write about characters/concepts that don't get written about often enough or are underrated
• If your ask, prompt or request is vague then I will run with it, if you want to specify in the future I can make a new version of it (I don't mind rewriting things because this is so I can practice writing but also practice posting publicly and accepting public opinion)
• Speaking of posting multiple versions, I am ok with posting multiple endings, multiple of the same concept with just different characters/dynamics and for any stories with you, the reader, as a character, changing the pronouns/descriptions of said reader so that anyone can reader it and connect with it (if its something smaller like just one line I'll still do it but most likely will just message it privately)
• If I decide to delete any stories, and if my reason for deletion isn't moral, I will give fair warning and you can message me so I can send it to you privately if you wish
• I will attempt to update any future multi-part series as much as can but I do have job irl and I tend to do projects like this in spurts
• If I'm start being proud of any specific stories I will cross post them, I will have them linked here so no one thinks I'm stealing my own writing, but if they are posted on accounts not linked here then thats not me and please let me know
If I forgot anything I will edit to add, last updated 10/21/2024
