Do you think General Lilia Vanrouge would leave the head of your enemy at your door?? You know, as a courting gift??
He wants to court you but doesn’t know how. So he asked the two that are in a happy marriage (his first mistake) and Baul Zigvolt (his second mistake maybe).
Meleanor and Levan’s response: “The head of your enemy.” (One of them is messing with him and the other is serious.)
Baul Zigvolt: “Anything from the Great Right General will be valued!” (He’s being genuine)
And…he listens to them like a fool.
You wake up to see a box by your door one day. Lo and behold, a head!
[Like a cat, he has brought you a gift. Look! Hasn’t he done well? See how capable he is?? Lolol]

What??...HOW??
Your voice was very interesting. You had been born with an extra set of vocal cords which allows you to do many unique things with your voice. In fact, Malleus has been teaching you some phrases in Fae to see if you can pick it up. And to his surprise and yours, you pick it up rather easily! And soon enough you two are having full blown conversations. But never did you think it would come in handy.
Malleus had overblotted. The look of horror on everyones face would never leave your brain. You, Silver, Sebek and Grim currently were sitting around the fire with a much younger version of Lilia and Sebeks Grandfather. Many of the Fae spoke in Fae and in different dialects. It was fun actually understanding everything they were saying without having to rely on Sebek to translate everything. Knowing you could respond to them made it even better...but you decide not to speak as many of them seem put off by your presence as it is. That is...until Baur whispers something in Fae that Sebek didn't quite pick up as he was busy scolding Grim. To which Lilia muttered something back.
The two thought you were all suspicious since the beginning. But you...you were much difference. While everyone in the group had the blessing of a Nocturnal Fae, yours happened to be the strongest. Which made them weary of you. And they made it known. Whether it would be staring you down or keeping their distance or being a little more harsh in their words. You ignored it until Baur had mentioned all four of us were untrustworthy. You had had enough of them talking behind your backs. So you let them know, you can understand.
"I hope you are very much aware that I can understand every word you say crystal clear."
Silence. It was utterly silent. Even Sebek for once kept his mouth shut. Although his jaw gaped so wide it might as well have sunk to the pits of hell. However, the most taken aback seemed to be the General himself. "You know how to speak Fae?? How?? Typically it is impossible for humans to speak our language....So how did you?!-" You sigh softly as you begin to explain the extra vocal cord..
Even though you've explained...Lilia is still baffled. He can hardly believe it. But he wasn't suspicious of it. In fact he was interested. Maybe picking you four up in the woods wasn't such a bad idea after all.

Endeavors with the General ft. General Lilia Vanrouge x reader
Tag: Long haired Lilia, fluff, he's the wife, he's pretty soft here guys, no gender mentioned
A/N: how tf do you write him? You can't tell me that no one is taking care of that beautiful hair let's forget silver who only uses soap. This is tribute for my hair that's getting cut. For context, I have a wavy hair that's more than 24 inches long. With a small estimation, I like to think that General Lilia and I have almost the same hair length. Thanks for reading my fics guys. I feel like my passion in writing is coming back just needed some validation

Being a general, your husband, most often than not, comes home looking unkempt. You don't chastise him for it. In fact it is one of the ways you get to bond with him and his busy schedule. With the way between humans and faes, you rarely got the chance to spend with Lilia as the kingdom's safety often calls for his attention. Most of the time, you are worried of his line of work, but you know his loyalty lies far deeper than just for the kingdom.
Now, you giddily opened the letter from Lilia. It seems that he will be coming home tonight. To prepare for his upcoming arrival, you canceled all your plans and used all the remaining time you have to plan a great dinner and sleep for him.
For hours, the servants around the house watch as you pace back and forth, waiting for Lilia's arrival
"Lilia!"
You jumped at him as soon as he opened the door. He effortlessly caught you as always, not even surprise at this entrance. "I've missed you." You push back the scarf on his head and slide off his mask. You were greeted by by his gentle face as soon as you did. Immediately, your lips that were magnetically attracted to his skin, latch on his cheek. You gave him plenty of kisses, yet purposely missing his twitching lips.
"It's only been 4 days." His hands fell on your waist. After you stopped from showering him with affection, you buried your head on his shoulder and hugged him back.
"4 days and 4 nights without you, to be exact. I was so worried when you didn't answer my first letter."
"I can't just be at your beck and call all the the time." He sighs before continuing, "It won't happen again."
You raised your head and look away from him, pretending that you are pondering of your verdict for him. You hum, "Well since you're here now, I forgive you." He huffed when you poke his nose and patted his head. You can see his cheeks darken after doing so.
"I'm not a child," he grumbled. You laughed at his bashful demeanor. He didn't exactly say that he didn't like it, and if he did, he could've pulled your hand away. Instead, you see the fearsome phantom general of Briar Valley act this cute.
"Yes yes, you are not love. Though there is nothing wrong with me desiring to be affectionate with my husband, no?" You wrapped your arms around his neck and finally gave his lips some love too. You broke the hug between you and gently took his hand, to dragged him to the dining room. As soon as you opened the room, he sees the array of servants carrying dishes. Even if the food were covered, his heightened senses immediately knew most what it was. He pulled one of the chairs for you to sit on before taking a seat for himself.
As the dishes were laid on the table, you turned towards Lilia. You noticed that he was just staring as the dishes were being served.
"Is it not to your liking?" you asked him, worried that there is something wrong.
"It's different back in the camp," he lied.
"You should eat a lot then!"
He winced as he realized that his excuse backfired on him. Truth to be told, he had a feast back in the princess castle, because someone insisted on keeping him stuffed for the journey back to you. Though seeing your enthusiastic demeanor, he could only groan internally as he is more apprehensive of seeing you sad than his stomach bursting.
Throughout the whole dinner, you kept rambling about what happened to you while he was away. Seeing how distracted you were, he opted to hand some of his portions from his plate to yours.
---
That was one of the ways you can bond with him: eating together. Another was through self-care.
You gently pulled the hair tie out of his locks, letting it flow freely. "Now what would I find here again?" You gently separated the hair strands and found a small twig stuck in Lilia's hair. A common find.
"You didn't have to do this. I've already dealt with this after I took a bath," he sighed when you shook your head.
"Tell it to this twig then." You enjoy his long locks too much to agree his earlier proposal. "You can't see your whole head, Lilia. Just let me do my work, hm?"
You softly brush his hair, admiring how the strands transition from black to red. "Besides, you have to thank me for keeping it this beautiful."
"It's no different than before," he retorts back.
You pouted, unable to find a counterattack. It was true that he was naturally gifted with his tresses. Even before your marriage, his hair albeit a little tangle at times, was still silky smooth to the touch. You speak from experience.
"What do you even do to have something like this? Do you have some secret routine you're not telling me?"
"Water and soap washes away dirt easily."
"That is true, but I was talking about your hair."
"And?"
"Wait what?"
Now in the present, we understand why Silver uses soap as his shampoo.

The Princess and the General
Summary: When Silver meets the princess from his father's old bedtime stories, except she is not a princess but his past lover.
Note: set in the same universe as the Leona royal au fic, fluff, slight angst, mentioned pregnancy, aged-up characters, Yuu/Reader is a fae, former General Lilia, and oc child. I saw the General Lilia card and it inspired this fic :)
Warning: not beta read, possible ooc characters, slight spoiler of past Lilia, and possibly inaccurate fae aging (just ignore canon if it was addressed in Book 7 lol).
Word Count: 2.7k
Masterlist: here

"Father, can you tell me a bedtime story?"
A male with long black hair and red streaks scooted closer to his son's bed, careful not to wake the green-haired boy sleeping next to him. His red eyes met big auroral ones.
The man chuckled at his son's cuteness and nodded. "Alright." He adjusted the boy so he could lay his head on the man's chest. "What kind of story do you want?"
"The one with the princess."
The man's eyes widened in shock, but he quickly cleared his throat. "You always ask for that one. It has a sad moment too."
The boy smiled. His innocent eyes sparkled. "I like the ending."
The man sighed and nodded. "Alright. Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess. She was so beautiful that it felt like the world around her would stop to stare at her when she passed by. She was very kind and loving. Everyone in the village loved her." The man felt a lump in his throat, but Silver's innocent eyes continued staring at him. "One day, she met an injured and cold-hearted knight. So, being the kind princess she was, nursed him back to health. The princess eventually grew close to the knight that she fell in love with him."
The boy began to feel sleep overcome him, and he closed his eyes, unaware of the man's voice, beginning to choke. Despite this, he continued the story and concealed his aching heart for his son's sake.
"But the knight did not feel the same way. He was cruel and only cared about returning back to the war. So he left once he felt better, leaving the princess heartbroken without saying goodbye. The princess thought all was lost until one day, while wandering around the woods around her castle, she discovered a small baby with golden hair. She felt sorry for the baby, so she adopted him and named him Aurum. The princess gave the baby all the love and attention he deserved." Lilia almost choked on his words, but he continued on. "She raised him as her own, loved him, and nurtured him until he became a king. And they both lived happily ever after."
Tumblr media
Silver stared at the faceless crowd in thought. It has been years since his father stopped telling him bedtime stories, yet the one with the princess stood out to him. His father never described her in detail, but Silver often wondered if he would ever meet a woman like her. He often had dreams of a beautiful woman who looked to be around his father's age. Still, he has yet to meet someone whose beauty can make the world stop.
"We need food, clothes, water, and new swords. Are we missing anything else…" The green-haired boy looked up at his friend (more like a brother), but his friend's eyes stared off at the crowded marketplace. "SILVER!"
Silver broke out of his train of thought and turned to his friend. "Did you need something, Sebek?"
Sebek groaned in annoyance. "You were staring off into space again. You must stop doing that so we can return to the Young Master."
Silver sighed and closed his bag. "Father can care for him just fine, but we can head back. Let me make sure I have my magical pen, and we can go."
Once they had everything, the two walked through the Briar Valley markets and back to the castle. The walk was short, yet Silver was too occupied with his thoughts. He had a feeling that something would happen today, but he did not know if it was good or bad.
As Silver was about to exit the bustling market, a woman walked past him. Her features passed for a brief second, but Silver felt it. Sebek, who was in front of him, slowed down. The voices around him sounded like unintelligible noises. It felt like the world suddenly slowed down, and it all happened when the woman passed.
Silver immediately turned around in search of her. His eyes caught sight of her swaying hair and pointed ears. She looked young, possibly around his father's age. Silver's feet acted before he could think.
"Wait! Miss, wait!"
Sebek turned around only to find his friend not there. "Silver?" Sebek's eyes landed on Silver running away. "SILVER! GET BACK HERE!"
The woman turned around to the noise to see a silver-haired boy heading her way, followed by a green-haired boy screaming at him. Her eyes stared at the familiar uniform. It was an updated one from the one she knew, but it still had the same colors as Briar Valley. Suddenly, the silver-haired one started pointing at her.
"Miss! I need to talk to you!"
The woman immediately ran off in hopes of losing them. Meanwhile, Sebek had finally caught up to Silver.
"Silver! Why are you chasing that woman?"
"Remember those stories Father would tell us? Specifically, the one with the princess? That's her!"
Sebek looked at Silver like he was crazy. "How would you know that? We could be chasing an innocent woman?"
"She had similar features to the princess, and the world slowed down when I saw her. Trust me, Sebke. It's her."
Sebek looked at Silver with a conflicted look. They should return to the castle, but what were the odds that it was the same woman. Even Sebek had moments where he wanted to meet her.
The woman moved fast, using her fae abilities to her advantage. What felt like hours was actually minutes of running, and she was heading toward a large crowd. It would be a matter of time before she lost them.
"We need to do something!" Silver yelled to Sebek. The green-haired boy had a determined look.
"I have no choice but to do this." Sebek took a deep breath. "DO YOU KNOW LILIA VANROUGE?" The woman and everyone else stopped moving and turned to them. She stood there stunned, giving Silver and Sebek enough time to catch up to her. Even up close, her beauty was maximized by ten.
The woman's eyes widened briefly before going to a neutral expression. "Was he looking for me?" she replied, causing Sebek to groan.
"You didn't answer my question!"
Silver sighed before looking at the woman. "I apologize for my friend, Miss. It is a long story, but Lilia often talks about you."
The woman's eyebrows furrowed in suspicion. "You're lying. He would never talk about me like that."
Silver turned to Sebek and noticed the big crowd watching them like it was a drama his father liked. The two nodded after a few moments of silence.
"I think it's best to discuss this over tea. How about we go back to the castle?"
The woman glanced around her, a hint of reluctance on her face, before nodding.
---
The three sat in Malleus' study with Sebek preparing the tea. The woman stared at the room in awe.
"The King must have traveled a lot," she whispered as she stared at the many pennant flags decorating the walls.
"They were gifts from Master Lilia to the Young Master, Yuu. The Young Master treasures them." Sebek proudly said as he set down her teacup.
Yuu thanked him and drank from her cup. She set it down and looked at Silver. "So let me make sure I understand this. You are Lilia's adopted son, and you-" her gaze turned to Sebek, "-are Baul's grandson. Lilia would tell you two stories where I was a princess, and you think it's me? How would you know?"
"He always talked about how beautiful you were and how it would look like time would slow down when you walk by." Silver explained, causing Yuu to blush.
"I think he was exaggerating."
"No!" Silver exclaimed, "It felt like the world stopped moving when we passed you in the market earlier."
Yuu's mouth opened in shock, "I see…What else did he say in that story?"
"He mentioned how you met a cruel knight, fell in love with him, and he left you heartbroken. The story ends with you adopting a child."
Yuu chuckled and leaned back, her eyes gazing at the ceiling painting. "Did you know that's how I met your father? It was a long time ago, he was a general, and I was naive. I thought he would reciprocate my feelings, but I was lying to myself the whole time. That story sounds like the life I wanted when I met him."
Sebek awkwardly drank his own tea and remained quiet. He had heard stories from his grandfather about how the mischievous Lilia they knew now was very different from years ago. Meanwhile, Silver slammed his hands on the table.
"Father may have been like that before, but he is not now! Also, I was too young to understand then, but he would always stumble and tear up when he told me the story. He may not say it, but I know he regrets what he did."
Yuu smiled sadly. "Thank you for that, Silver; those are the words I wished I heard years ago."
"Then you should stay so you can see him!"
Yuu shook her head. "I don't know if I should. I should be heading out soon before it gets dark. I'm visiting the Scalding Sands and hear it is lovely this time of year." Yuu brushed off imaginary dust off her clothes and started standing up.
Silver and Sebek stood up like they had a burst of energy. They jumped toward Yuu and pushed her back down.
"NO!"
"WAIT!"
Yuu became slightly annoyed. "What are you two going on about?"
"What is going on here?" A deep voice asked as he entered the study. Everyone froze, and their eyes turned to the newcomer.
"Lilia?" Yuu said as she stared at him. He looked handsome, but she still saw small remnants of the cold man she met before. Her eyes were wide, just like Lilia's, and her heart tensed up from seeing him.
"Yuu?" Lilia whispered with fondness that startled Yuu. She still looked as beautiful as he remembered, and he felt an invisible pull towards her like an enchanted spindle. Neither of them moved and stared in silence until Silver cleared his throat.
"Father, I'm sure that you remember Yuu. If you would excuse Sebek and me, we must help Malleus." He quickly said as he grabbed Sebek's arm and dragged him out.
"Right! We must see the Young Master to help him!" The two boys immediately closed the door, leaving Yuu and Lilia alone. What Malleus needed help with? They may never know.
Yuu cleared her throat. "You know it's been a while since I've seen you, Lilia. You definitely changed." She made no move to leave the room, causing Lilia to give in to the invisible pull.
Lilia chuckled and sat down next to Yuu. "Don't I still look youthful?" He grinned mischievously.
“Don’t push it. I’m surprised you haven’t broken your back yet.” Yuu smirked, causing Lilia to gasp.
"My youthful appearance has made it through the years! Besides, who else was supposed to watch over Malleus during his youth?"
Yuu laughed at the thought. She felt her heart relax as they quickly made conversation like they were old friends seeing each other. "I guess it makes sense. I heard the King was quite the handful as a kid."
"Yes, but he grew out of it...most of it. He had a wonderful young caretaker to watch over him."
Yuu rolled her eyes and smiled. "Don't push it now. You may have cut your hair and dyed it pink instead of red, but there is more than that. You look happier and not like you're ready to murder someone. You even have a son. A human son, for the matter. The Lilia I knew before would never want to be near one, much less adopt one."
Lilia smiled proudly, his eyes briefly glancing at the door Silver had just left from with fondness. "Well, things happened, and I met Silver. He is my pride and joy, after all. I taught him everything and he has been a fantastic retainer for Malleus."
"I can tell. You raised him well. Did you know that he was the one who found me in the market? He even told me you tell him stories about me as a princess. I could not believe it myself." Yuu chuckled, but Lilia remained silent.
"Lilia?"
Lilia looked at Yuu with a serious expression. The atmosphere felt slightly tense as Yuu knew it was time to address the elephant in the room. Suddenly, Lilia got down on both knees in front of Yuu and held her hands. He gently caressed her fingers with his thumbs.
"You know, I tried to find you after the war ended. My mind was so focused on it that I did not realize what I did to you until it was over. I even returned to your house to beg for forgiveness, but you were gone." He looked up at Yuu. "Did you leave because of me?"
Yuu slowly nodded and looked down at Lilia's hands. "That was part of the reason. That house may have brought me painful memories, but I always wanted to explore the world. Your leaving gave me an excuse to do it. Despite that, I learned so much about myself from it."
"I'm happy for you, Yuu. I tried to look out for you years after, and then I met Malleus and Silver. You can see what happened next…" Lilia trailed off before continuing. "Yuu, I am so sorry for the damage I've done. If I could travel back in time, then I would. I would be the fae that you deserved back then. I was slow to realize it, but I love you and always have."
Yuu felt tears form in her eyes. "Lilia…" The former stoic man rested his forehead on her knees and began to cry.
"So please, if you could give me a chance, I will stay by your side for as long as you want. If not, then I understand. I will respect your wishes."
Yuu sighed, causing Lilia to look up and for their eyes to meet. "I still have plans to travel, but I have an idea. I will think about it, and when I come back, if you are still waiting for me, we can talk again and go from there."
Lilia nodded with hope in his eyes. He moved to sit on one knee, grabbed Yuu's left hand, and kissed her knuckles. When Lilia's lips touched her skin, Yuu felt a spark flow through her body. It was a familiar feeling, and she had missed it.
"I, former general Lilia Vanrouge, swear to wait for you, Yuu, for as long as you need until you tell me to go or death do us part."
Yuu interlocked their fingers together as a sign of comfort between them.
"I, Yuu, promise to give you, Lilia Vanrouge, my answer when I return." Her eyes shifted to meet Lilia's red ones. "Maybe I will let you propose to me properly."
Lilia smiled with all the love he had for her. "Take all the time that you need."
With those words, both knew the future would be bright.
---
Later
Silver, Sebek, Malleus, and Yuu sat together, silently eating dinner until Silver addressed the other elephant in the room.
"So, Yuu, can you cook?"
Yuu's eyes lit up in excitement. "Yes, I can! I picked up a few things during my travels, so say the word, and I'll make it." Yuu smiled, causing Silver, Sebek, and Malleus to tear up. The three ran to her and pulled her in a big group hug while crying tears of joy.
"Thank you!" They cried in relief. Meanwhile, Lilia watched them from afar with a smile.
"What a lovely family."
Tumblr media
"Mommy, can you read me another bedtime story?"
Yuu laughed as she tucked her daughter under the blankets. "Another one, Aurie? I already told you many."
"Please! My little brother wants to hear one too!" Aurie pleaded. Her big red eyes shined with forming tears, and she put on her best pout. Yuu sighed, giving in to her daughter's cuteness.
"Okay. One more, and that's it. I don't want you to fall asleep when your father and brother return tomorrow. You know that they will be excited to see you."
Aurie smiled proudly and nodded, her hair swishing up and down. "I promise, Mommy."
Yuu smiled and ruffled Aurie's silky hair. "Now, what story do you want?"
"Can you tell me the story of the beautiful princess who fell in love with the handsome knight? I like that one."
"Alright, young lady." Yuu sat beside her daughter and let Aurie rest beside her as best as possible with her 30-week baby bump. "Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess. One day, while out in the village, she met a knight who was in love with her from afar for years…."
Tumblr media
A/N: Aurie means "the golden one" and comes from the Latin word aurum aka gold. It's also used as a short form for the name Aurora :)

3:00 𝐏𝐌 「 FAILURE NOCRIOL TUL- I GENERAL 」
nsfw. gender! neutral reader.
the title is gnoomish for: failure must come to the general
Tumblr media
"Thorn Fairy, hear my wishes. You, who are full of grace and beauty, bless upon me the patience fitting for the blessing of the night..." you mumbled in ancient fae dialect, kneeling against the dais where the statue of the thorn fairy stood.
"I hereby declare, Mr. Lilia Vanrouge..."
"Thorn Fairy, hear my wishes. You, who are full of grace and beauty, bless upon me the strength to face and defend the blessing of the night..." You grit your teeth, tightening your grip on the quartz crystal. Your breathing deepened, your eyes shut tighter as your eyebrows furrowed.
"...the duty and power to guard and protect..."
"Thorn Fairy, hear my wishes. You, who are full of grace and beauty, bless upon me the essence of what it is to be part of the blessing of the night..." You can feel your heartbeat speed up. You can feel it throughout your body, you can feel it banging against your ear drums. The quartz crystal cracked against your grip, your nails digging into your palm.
"...annointed by Her Royal Majesty, Malleficia Draconia, and Her Royal Highness, Meleanor Draconia..."
"Thorn Fairy...hear my wishes...You..." came your chants that turned into forced whispers.
"...as the General of the Land of Briar."
The quarts crystal crumbled into dust, shattering completely before you threw it to the ground and screamed. Hands slamming against the floor as fists pounded and smacked against the dais. The echoes of the ceremony that commenced not even an hour ago rang and rang in your head.
You glared up at the statue, breath heaving while you continued to thrash the flowers and gifts that surrounded the statue. Your knees collapsed with your hair tarnished as you continued to stare up at the thorn fairy. Her stoned face, those lifeless eyes of hers angled up to mock your demise. Her lips smirked down, as far as the angle could provide, at you.
Such a pathetic fae, that you are.
"I hate you, Lilia Vanrouge."
You heard the heavy wooden doors close behind you; you paid no heed, not to the fae, not to the ruined dais of the savior of faes, and definitely not to how you looked.
"The hypocrisy you really possess baffles me," he said, heels clicking against the marble floor.
Your teeth nearly cracked. The stoned dias creaked under your fingernails as you slowly panned your head over his shoulder. There he was. That fucking General.
That title was supposed to be yours. You're supposed to be the General of the Land of Briar. You're supposed to be in charge of protecting the land. You worked hard to impress the royals—
Yet, why did this foresaken man get annointed instead of you?
"Stand up," he ordered.
He is not using his position on you. Not now, not ever. You were equals before he was chosen. Fuck the hierarchy.
"I said. Stand. Up," came another order, sterner than the one before. "If you're going to let out your anger, do it to me."
And that was your final breaking point. The cockiness, the arrogance, that glint in those sharp eyes of his. It's all mockery, it's all a game. Not an ounce of care that he defeated you. What he wants, you don't know. But, what you want, he holds.
You stood up and charged at him. Fists hitting wherever it landed just as long as it's on his body. He didn't flinch, he didn't resist. He just stared. It angered you more. Your vision was nothing but black.
"I hope the war takes you," you sneered, landing a punch on his face.
"I hope you fail the princess!" A punch landed on his shoulder.
"I. Am. Supposed. To be. The General!" You screamed and landed a blow to his chest, sending him to take a step back and puff out a breath.
No damage, still no damage. It wasn't enough. No physical outlet can diminish this desire for blood; for his blood on your hands. The restraint you need to hold on yourself was too much.
"And you truly believe you deserve this position?" he laughed. Lips outstretched in a menacing grin.
"How do you think Meleanor would react when she sees what you've done to this room?" He gestured to the dais behind you.
"You can't even control yourself."
And all you saw was red.
You shoved Lilia to the wall adjacent to you and slammed your lips on his dry ones. Neither of you are fools. The man held no hesitance nor did he fight you back. In fact, he relinquished in your misery.
He devoured your lips just as feverishly as you did. Hands pulling and gripping on his now messy hair while his own hands grasped on your clothes. His tongue savoured itself in your mouth, eliciting unwanted muffled moans before he easily flipped you two with you now against the wall.
"You're better off as a decoy," he growled against your lips, grabbing your thigh and hooking it around his waist. Your hands moved down to pull on his uniform, tugging the tormenting material that refused to show an ounce of his skin.
"You're better off dead," you snapped back when he moved down to bite, bite, on the side of your neck. Your nails dug on his nape as you continued to persistently rip through his clothes, only earning a small snap as the skin-tight material on his shoulder ripped just a bit.
He snickered against your neck. Tongue darting out to lay flat against the your throat and lick from your collarbone and up to your chin. Your breaths turned to pants as you're eye-to-eye with the General. His were half-lidded and yours were wide with desire — for what, you don't entirely know.
His slammed his lips again, this time, grabbing your other thigh and lifting you until they're wrapped around his waist. Pressing his clothed cock against your crotch as he groaned into your mouth. His free hand easily ripped your own uniform from the middle, exposing your unarmed chest him and the cold air of the room.
Your nipples immediately erected upon contact and he mercilessly pinched on one making you gasp and shudder while he sucked on your bottom lip. You were shaking now; both from anger and desire. He had too much power over you. You hated it. You loathed every single bit of it. You wished, you prayed, that he just loses it to whatever lurks in the forests and never return.
"Say it."
"Fuck you," you breathed, gritting your teeth after pulling away. Finally being able to snap the buckles of his chest armor and exposing the shirt beneath it. It hugged his body too well, too damn well. Tight against his bod, translucent as far as the mind can imagine. You want it gone, you want it all dispersed.
"You need to learn to respect your leaders." Lilia gripped pressed down your nipple, his thumb circling as he leered at your nudity. "Say it."
"Like hell you're my fucking leader," you snapped. "You're nothing. You're just a bastard of a fa—" you were cut off by your own throat. A loud moan escaped your lips when he bit on your nipples. His fangs barely teasing your sensitive tits. It was a hard bite. The other breast was being fondled and squeezed by his other hand. Your don't know where to lay your hands. You don't know what to grip.
You hate being inferior.
"Say it," he moaned as he sucked on your abused nip. You shivered and tilted your head against the wall, refusing to see his ministrations. You can feel how hard his cock was against your pelvis, grinding and pressing against your crotch. Your eyes settled on the statue of the thorn fairy behind him. Her eyes looked like they moved, now laughing at your state.
And unbeknownst to you, Lilia's hand shoved itself inside your pants, cupping your sex before rubbing his fingers on your groin. You arched your hips away as much as you can, only pressing your ass against the wall with no more room to move. Your mouth hang open as you looked down and stopped the whine that dared leave your throat.
"I'm giving you one last chance." There was a singing tone to his voice. He's smirking down at you while tauntingly pressing his fingers harder, rubbing slow circles as he can feel how wet you've become. It made you wither, it made you look away from his minacious gaze.
"Fuck..." you breathed out, tightening your legs around his waist as you thrusted your hips on his fingers. Closing your eyes and feeling the pleasure build up, the heat and coil to burn hotter inside you.
Before you were dropped to the ground with a yelp leaving your mouth. You snapped your head up, looking at him in surprise with furrowed eyebrows. He laughed while he shook his head then looked down at his slick-coated fingers and grinned. Shamelessly licking it off with a pop from his lips before leaning down and wiping it on your cheek.
"Clean up before the subordinates see you looking so..." His eyes trailed down your body with no word finishing his sentence. With a hand in his pocket he turned around and started walking away.
You were left baffled, annoyed, and weak. Your eyes followed his retreating figure and once his hand landed on the doorknob, before you could even control yourself, you blurted.
Just like he said.
You can't control yourself.
"G-General Vanrouge!"
You couldn't see it, but the smirk that danced on his face was more than enough to signify his victory. To have the dais crack when your back collided with the cold stone and your legs pulled apart and laid bare against his hips.

Why did it just hit me that General Lilia and “Make a Man Out of You” from Mulan go very well together. I think I’m on to something.

WARNINGS! THIS STORY CONTAINS... angst + fluff + lilia×fem reader
A/N: Dear souls, for the moment, thank you for waiting! Once more, I hope my work pleases you. If you are not comfortable with this, feel free to leave. If you would like a version with male reader instead, please request it. Just for your info, my prev fic is still on hiatus. One of these days I'll make a masterlist of my works... Likes, comments and reblogs are very much appreciated. I'm already starting part 3, sorry if this story doesn't fit your expectations!
Now, the parade continues its second destination...
Part 2
You're in a shitty story as a mob, what more could go wrong?
(if only this was a dream...)
.............................
...you open your eyes.
You opened your eyes!
You opened your goddamn eyes already, and even pinched yourself! Hard!
Once, twice, thrice, twisted it, pulled it, you basically tried everything you could!
But..
...you just couldn't get out of this dream.
The walls, ceiling, bed, and everything around you just screamed "this is war".
How, you may ask?
Well for starters, you're in.. a tent, it seems. Low quality.
The bedding doesn't even feel like bedding. It's just some fabric over.. grass. Literal. Grass.
But the worst part about this are 3 main things.
You could feel pain from wounds. (1 covers your whole head and 2 others for your arms. They all ache and itch under all those bandages. You didn't want to believe it at first, but fuck it's itchy as hell.)
As if that wasn't enough, you could hear. Too well for comfort. And you may ask how that's a bad thing.
Well it is. A major, major bad thing. You could hear basically everything between an estimated 10-20 meters, but you're not too sure. From other people's heavy breathing to crickets outside, it felt like everything was being mega-phoned into your ears. Even things you never noticed or heard before were at the noise level of people mumbling.
It is absolutely horrible. Your eardrums feel like exploding, (you hope it's not bleeding at this point) but the bandage around your head helps ever so slightly. You curse this newfound ability.
On top of that, you could also smell the blood, rot, and dirt from all directions. (Like your sense of hearing, your sense of smell has never been this good, even if it's just slightly better than your usual sense of smell. It's just that your surroundings stink and you wish you had a nose-block.)
Luckily, you could still sit up, so you did.
And guess what you saw?
Well, it should be obvious. As if the smells that invaded your nose and overwhelmed you wasn't a tell-tale sign already.
And so, you glanced at your surroundings with a swift turn of your head and eyes. Was it just you, but could you see better?
To your not-so-surprising surprise, there were so. many. injured yet beautiful people(?) - in your brain, you understood that they were people (at least in looks) but their ears were pointy.
...
Curiosity kills the cat, huh?
Well you surely understood that idiom the moment you touched your own ears.
With what you sensed through the bandages on your entire right arm, your fears turned out to be true.
... it's pointy.
Your ears are fucking pointy.
Haha. Hahaha.
This is not a fucking dream.
This is not.. a dream, is it?
And if all those things, no, people, no, you suppose they're called faes, are real...
Then.. did you truly die from reading that shitty novel?
...
...oh.
You wonder about your friends and family, (if you even had any in the first place) but decide to suppress those thoughts before you get a panic attack.
Anyways, onto your next move!
So, using your experience of reading so much fanfiction, you know just what to do!
Thus, you muster up my courage and reach out a hand to the lady(?) man(?) fae.
Their face was covered with some sort of mask. And you decide to go with she for pronouns as her hair is long.
After scanning the place with your eyes for a bit, you notice that everyone had some sort of mask beside them.
...exactly like the ones that were in that shitty novel...
"urm... what.. date is it now? And where are we? I'm a bit confused."
...you hope she doesn't see how much you're sweating. Is it even a she? You rack your brain, yet you can't figure it out due to the mask. You just decide to call her "green sheep" cause the mask she's wearing is green, and it's a sheep.
She responds back.. something. You somehow understand what she's talking about even though my human - not human - ears cannot comprehend it.
What you managed to catch was "Briar", exactly the same name as the fae's country in the book.
But what you suppose was slightly better was the date. It was 10 years before the main story would end.
After that would be the d day, the day were you and everyone else in this country die.
It's okay, everything's okay!
You are NOT freaking out!
(...not here, at least.)
...
...you want to cry.
Your injuries still hurt and your bandages still itch. Even after so many days of lying in bed.
(...but it's not like that's the only reason.)
Anyways, you suck it up.
It's the only thing you can do now anyways.
-
-
-
The days pass by pretty slowly. You can't believe it's only been a week since you got here. It feels so much longer than that.
Day after day, you get a new memory of who "you" used to be.
You suppose it's better for you...
Like clockwork, you apply the little amount of ointment you're given, change the bandages on your wounds, resist the urge to scratch, eat, exercise as much as I can, sleep and repeat.
It's not so bad after some time.
...
...haha, who are you joking?
You've resorted to talking (in your head, you're not that big of a weirdo!) to yourself because you're so lonely and have no friends here.
Your hand twitches from time to time because you forget you don't have your phone with you anymore.
Everyone is extremely tense and stressed out, not just you.
At night, you're unable to sleep, and not just because your hearing has gotten exceptionally better.
The clanging of swords, the whispers and the different people being shuffled in day after day keeps you up at night.
And even if you do sleep, all you have are nightmares.
Dreams of the modern life you used to have.
It isn't so unbelievably strange that you miss it now. Anyone in your shoes would. The convenience and comfort it came with was extremely addicting.
The more you think about it, the more you can't sleep.
And thus, you lay awake in bed, eyes open, just hearing the tick of the clock.
How long has it been?
How long will you be here?
You're scared. You're lonely. You want to go home. Badly.
...
...But you can't do a single thing about it, and you start to feel numb and accept your fate. It's highly unlikely at this rate.
You just wish this is all a bad dream.
.............................
A/N: You're in denial and will soon have a mental breakdown hahaha! I'm pretty sure my writing style changed, so sorry if you dislike it. Stay tuned for part 3!! Sorry for the long ass waiting times I'll try to post more often 😔😔😔
It'll take a few more chapters til lilia comes idk though but kinda slow burn??
extra for males:
You wake up and wonder.. is your ding dong still there?!
You check your pants and come to a horrible realization...
IT'S GONEEEEEEE!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
😞😞😞😞😔😔😔😔😔😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Been thinking about a time travel au where you go back to the past and follow Lilia’s life. You always show up when he needs it most.
The amount of time you’re there could differ from hours to days and sometimes years (rarely), but you always disappear.
You didn’t age but Lilia did (time seems to work for you differently compared to him). Not only that, Lilia is the only one who can see you.
Some instances when you meet with Lilia includes:
The first time is when he’s been newly appointed as the Right General. He’s shocked to see you as you wonder about your whereabouts. He tries to question you, threatening violence if need be. The raucous brought other guards along but they couldn’t see you. Safe to say, he doesn’t live it down the next few decades. Meleanor teasing him that he must be nervous in his new position. You’re left questioning about your situation and how come only he could see you before you’re gone.
You join him during patrols sometimes. Keeping him company as he looks for the princess during her escapades.
Other times, you share a meal together (well, he eats and you two talk, and thank the Greats for that because his food looks questionable at best).
Sometimes, you show up during his trainings and you can’t help but wonder if the way he moves, giving emphasis to his muscles and length, is done purposely or not but you are not complaining at the beautiful view. What do they say? I hate to see you go but I love the view. And did you love it.
Another instance is when Lilia is about to be hit by a tank during his mission to deliver a message and look for Levan. Your shout has him escaping death but not without injury.
You keep him company on his track to Black Scale Mountains. Extra vigilant for any enemies while he’s holding the egg. The one to watch his back during the rare moments he would rest.
The days that were the toughest yet were the following months after Meleanor’s passing. It was also the time you felt the most frustrated and useless. Lilia during those times were desolate. Practically a vegetative state. It took you time and years of frustrations. Words heated and full of hurt on both sides. But you never let go of him nor he you.
You’re there when he’s on his mission to hatch Malleus. You’re there throughout his travels. Angry in his place when he’s treated with callousness. With worry when he collapses in fatigue. You dance with him in cold winter nights when all is quiet. Just you two and one else.
You’re there when Malleus hatches. Cries with Lilia at the little dragon, so stubborn and yet fiery for a newborn. You’re there when hair is burned and cotton candy is snuck in.
You’re there when peace talks are finalized and Silver is found. You’re there for diaper changes and late nights.
Until one day, you’re not there anymore.
At least not as a ghost, but as you. A person. Living and breathing. Someone everyone can see.
You’re in this world that is familiar but different in ways you are not used to.
Awkward and anxious as everyone stares at this new comer. You don’t know what to do or say.
But then…
“There you are sweetheart. I’ve been looking everywhere for you.”
Tumblr media
I had to use that line 💞☺️😘🫶 how could I not? It was the perfect opportunity. 💚💚

Lilia and Baur
Everyone talks about General Lilia and Baur (I hate the localization for the Eng. server.) But I wanna know what these two would be like, together...Hear me out...Two strong Fae soldiers + human s/o or Fae s/o whichever you prefer. Shenanigans ensue? Yes. Thank you for coming to my Twisted Ted Talk.

He decided to transform after you kept following him around to scare you, but it seems like he made the wrong choice when you got a hold of his lower half, and now he can't get down without you smothering him lmao (and he doesnt want to hurt you either, in my delulu era)

No because I love this idea! A teasing more experienced older Lilia, the gamer dad you know and love in front of you and the less experienced, probably a little more primal, less gentle General of the Right...the possibilities are absolutely endless! Especially if we consider this with a human s/o. A more open minded Lilia vs. close minded makes for a very good combination of praise and degradation! I need more fics abut this, I need more of this concept right here
Being between past Lilia and current Lilia

So like- Listen to me again-
This song,
With General Lilia. SHBDJSJ—
LIKE- At the first part of the song, he's in ABSOLUTE denial of being in love. And THEN at the second part, he starts realizing his feelings for reader. And the cherry on top?- THE FINAL PART- is where he finally succumbs to his feelings SHDBJSJSJ-
