Meet Sennheiser's Newest Wireless Headphones and Earbuds
Tumblr media
Audio titan Sennheiser recently showed off some rather tasty-looking tech at the Consumer Electronics Showcase (CES) 2024 in Las Vegas, marking the arrival of new wireless audio products including the MOMENTUM True Wireless 4, ACCENTUM Plus, and MOMENTUM Sport. The company says that the new earbuds and headphones pack "state-of-the-art" tech, making them ideal for power users, and presumably hardcore audiophiles as well. Let's take a look! MOMENTUM True Wireless 4 Starting things off is the MOMENTUM True Wireless 4, which packs some heavy-hitting hardware including Qualcomm's S5 Sound Gen 2 platform and Snapdragon Sound Technology, as well as support for Bluetooth 5.4 and Auracast. Sennheiser says that the earbuds feature a revamped antenna design that improves signal continuity during usage, which should reduce incidents of dropped signals. Other improvements with the MOMENTUM True Wireless 4 include adaptive active noise-cancelling (ANC), and an upgraded battery system that according to Sennheiser can lasp for up to 7.5 hours of playback, although users can of course top up their charge via the USB-C charging case. The MOMENTUM True Wireless 4 earbuds will be available in three colours including black copper, metallic silver, and graphite, and will be available to pre-order on February 15th for £259.99 Sennheiser ACCENTUM Plus For those after an over-ear audio experience, Sennheiser offers the new ACCENTUM Plus headphones, which are designed with optimum sound and comfort in mind. The headphones pack integrated touch controls into the earcups, meaning that there's less fiddling around when skipping trakcs, adjusting volume, as well as answering calls in the middle of music sessions. Additionally, the headphones also come with support for multi-point connectivity, adaptive ANC as well as wind noise reduction, ensuring that the outside world doesn't get in the way of your music. For battery life, the headphones can go for up to a whopping 50 hours of use on a single charge, making them ideal for long flights and trips. There's also an included cable, so you can use the ACCENTUM Plus with devices that feature a headphone jack. They're available in black and white variants, and will be available from February 20th for £199.99 Sennheiser MOMENTUM Sport Last but not the least are the MOMENTUM Sport earbuds, which are specifically designed for active users who like to listen to their music and podcasts while on the move. The earbuds feature a photoplethysmography (PPG) heart rate sensor and a body temperature sensor that can feed data to users' health and fitness tracking apps, including wearables from Apple, Garmin, as well as compatible Strava and Peloton products, to name a few. It also comes with IP55 certification, making it safe to use during intense workouts. Other staples such as ANC, transparency and anti-wind mode make their way onto the MOMENTUM Sport, in addition to an all-new acoustic system with a redesigned transducer, that according to the company can deliver the best sound quality ever in a Sennheiser-branded sport earbud. For battery life, the earbuds can last for up to six hours on a single charge, although users can extend this to 24 hours via the Qi-compatible charging case. The MOMENTUM Sport earbuds will be available from April 9th for £259.99, and will be available in Polar Black, Burned Olive, and Metallic Graphite. Read the full article

It was toque weather when this girl was hoisted topside. This was no sneak attack as we watched it all happen on both rear mounted Livescopes. In fact it appeared on the boat’s third Livescope a few minutes earlier… After landing a bunch of mid 20” walleye and marking on multiple livescopes with lvs34’s a bunch of other fish we knew something was going to happen…..and then KaBoom, this big girl chomped down and had my St. Croix Avid rod loaded up for a good battle followed by a solid pic. Now looking forward to ice fishing and watching fish even more clearly and accurately with Garmin’s LVS34 transducers..😉 #cateyeoutfitter #redriver #lakewinnipeg #stcroixrods #clamoutdoors https://www.instagram.com/p/Ckrmn6QL2cz/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Transfer garmin waypoints to lowrance
Tumblr media
#Transfer garmin waypoints to lowrance full#
This is actually a sonar recording function and is specific to the Lowrance units. For DownScan / ClearVü, the base frequencies are the same – 455/800 kHz. However, for the 2D sonar, the Garmin transducer uses 77/200 kHz base frequencies, while the Lowrance HDI Skimmer uses 83/200 kHz. These Lowrance and Garmin fish finders come with similar transducers. Since the HOOK unit doesn’t use CHIRP for its DownScan sonar, it can blend the 2D-CHIRP view with the DownScan, so you can benefit from the CHIRP power in DownScan. This is a feature specific to the Lowrance units. The difference between CHIRP ClearVü and DownScan isn’t extreme, though.ĭownScan Overlay. However, only the Garmin unit can use CHIRP for its ClearVü imaging. Both units have dual-frequency sonar, and both of them can use CHIRP for their 2D traditional view sonar.
#Transfer garmin waypoints to lowrance full#
Its navigation base is a so-called “waypoint map”, which is basically a blank sheet on which you can mark your waypoints, and record a trail between them… Read Full Review. But on the other hand, it does not have any charts, nor it can be upgraded with any premium charts. In terms of navigation, this unit is equipped with a high-sensitivity GPS receiver to locate your current position quickly and precisely, then maintain your GPS location anywhere you go on the lake. Differently put, it can use Mid and High CHIRP while for ClearVü it can also use a CHIRP modulation between 435-475 kHz and 800-840 kHz. It comes with a ClearVü transducer, the CV20-TM, which uses 77/200 kHz for the unit’s 2D sonar, and 455/800 kHz for ClearVü. The unit features two types of sonar: 2D CHIRP and ClearVü CHIRP. This unit has several standard sonar features such as A-Scope, Circular Flasher, Fish Symbols, Fish Alarms, etc however, it does not have sonar recording. It’s a color unit, though, with LED backlight and a richer pixel matrix than the Lowrance HOOK model, of 480V x 320H. Its name is also a bit misleading, as its display is 3.5″ in diagonal, and not 4″ or above. The Garmin Striker 4cv (010-01806-00) is one of the top-rated fish finders at the moment, despite the fact that it is a small unit. It’s keypad operated (not touchscreen) and equipped with a microSD card reader for chart upgrades, data backup or recorded sonar logs… Read Full Review. The control unit features a color display, with a pixel matrix of 480V x 272H, and 4.3″ in diagonal. But on the other hand, the unit’s chart database can always be upgraded to Lake Insight, Navionics+, etc. These charts are not exactly detailed but do cover more than 3,000 lakes and rivers and coastal contours to 1,000 feet. Along with the GPS/WAAS/EGNOS/MSAS module it’s also equipped with the Lowrance basemaps. The HOOK-4 unit is equipped with an internal GPS receiver (to not be mistaken for the HOOK-4x model, which does not have GPS). The transducer comes with a transom mount and also integrates a temperature sensor so that the unit can display the temperature of the top water layer. Also, for 2D it can use Medium-Range CHIRP and High Range CHIRP for a better target separation and clearer images. This particular part number unit includes the HDI skimmer transducer, which can operate at 83/200 kHz for 2D and at 455/800 kHz for the unit’s DownScan. The HOOK-4 (000-12647-001) is a Lowrance fish finder and GPS, featuring 2D broadband CHIRP sonar and DownScan sonar. However, there are several differences about them and in here we’re going to try to underline each one of them. These are two similar 5″ units featuring down scanning sonar, CHIRP sonar and GPS. The two units that we’re going to compare here are the Lowrance HOOK-4, part number 000-12647-001, and the Garmin Striker 4cv part number 010-01806-00.
