#Gallery in the Körnerpark

Within the framework of the exhibition "Unsichtbarkeiten - Panorama des Verschwindens" presented in the gallery of the Körnerpark in 2020, the artist Barbara Cousin and the art therapist Anne Coordes-Großkinsky proposed to several primary school classes to focus on insects, whose progressive disappearance represents a major risk for our ecosystem. Over the duration of a morning workshop, Barbara and Anne invited each class to create their own collection of insects together. Inspired by the works presented in the exhibition but also by the insect collections of the natural history museums and by their own imagination, the children each made a Leporello (accordion book) featuring the insects of their choice. These paper accordions were designed through various techniques such as charcoal, pastels, blueprint paper.... and could be discovered as a book as well as unfolded and displayed as decoration.  It was thus a private and shared collection!
