gquuuuuux genuinely setting up to be my favoture au gundam if not my favorite gundam show entirely it was so fucking peak.

GQuuuuuux was pretty good! i admit i wasn't sold entirely on the premise but it plays out really well and it's super compelling.

The first 20 min or so are basically a shot-for-shot remake of ep 1 of 0079, which was great, as well got some really nice throwbacks including a ton of music from the original series (Sassotaru Char in particular!!) as well as SFX throwbacks. The notable exception being Char replaces Gene in the invasion of Side 7, and the plot diverges from there.

I was initially super skeptical of the Gundam designs, but they work really really well in motion. There's a neat attention to detail in fight strategy in the Machu parts of the movie, and I'm excited to see how that translates to the rest of the series.

I really hope this series gets a proper 50 episode run, Ii'll be cool to see how they explore this new timeline they've created.

ジークアクス2回目完了。 特典は経営するオタクバーに置いておきますね。 自宅からバスを乗り継いで北上、途中から歩きで多摩センターで観てきました。 帰りは京王線で橋本へ、そこで夕飯を食べ、町田行終バスで木曽交差点まで。あとは歩いて帰宅。 この時の散歩写真は追って記事にします。
