me literally just a few hours ago: okay, so the reworked chapter 2 is almost ready for submission. i've still got a week or so before the agent i'm sending it to wants to see it, and i've been thinking about maybe having the evil president do a cameo, something harmless but still plot relevant, but i really don't know if that's laying it on a bit thick with the foreshadowing. maybe i should just--
