Also I read a book on psychology and spiders and people who were following Freudian ideals basically concluded that men who have arachnophobia want to fuck their moms Who became a femme fatal symbol like the black widow

in freudland everything relates to motherfucking 

but in all seriousness i see phobias like that more as a reflection of some other neruroses being manifested symbolically. i’m aware that phobias tend to arise out of experiences in childhood with the object of phobia, but in these cases i think that what is being experienced is a sort of projection of general anxiety, fear, or stress onto a traumatic object that symbolizes it. 

or maybe im just saying nonsense, i dunno
