With the release of the new Indiana Jones game, I just wanted to share the good times I had with Indy on my Fortnite account before it was stolen from me.
He was my favorite skin and it's a monumental loss that Epic Games couldn't do anything to help me get my account back.

Honestly this event rubbed me the wrong way. Fortnite's always had a dedication to its dumb, broken, incomprehensible "lore" but this is the first time where the launch of a new season chapter feels like flipping through the pages of a catalog full of junk they want you to pay for.
It also, simultaneously, as I've said elsewhere, reminds me of games like Battlefield Heroes and Quake Live, which sold themselves on the revolutionary technology of being high-advanced games you could play "from your web browser" which actually just meant you had to go to quakelive.com in Firefox and press the "PLAY NOW FREE" button to launch the game client instead of it just being an icon on your desktop. It was still just a game .exe installed in Windows somewhere, but it was being launched thanks to a browser extension that knew where the files were living. And it meant keeping a resource-hogging web browser open at all times.
I don't understand why I have to download at least three other games and hook into a f2p shooter currency ecosystem just to play the newest Rock Band. They're solving a problem nobody had except "capitalism says number must always go higher, Fortnite makes nearly six billion dollars a year, and apparently that's not enough."
It never is, is it.

inigo, the brave [modern! au]
[masterlist]
headcanons
He plays DnD. He knows every single edition's rules, by heart. He also makes others play with him, and I think he is often the DM!!
He usually wears armors, but he definetly owns a lot of everyday clothes
he is definetly a geek
he knows a lot about video games
i feel like he would ask others in the gang to play games like LoL, Fortnite or IDV with him together, while he teaches them how to play
he LOVES indiana jones<3
i feel like he would drink energy drinks sometimes? (or at least used to) and i am pretty sure that he can mix the strongest, most caffeinated drink that you have ever drank
he is the first one in the gang to know about a new meme or trend
him & lucien play crosswords together, but they never really finish it, because they keep pointing to empty words like "B _ _ B S" and they would loose it
he has a decent social media profile! he would have a public instagram account with plenty of images with friends and of his adventures. he also would upload pictures to his story, but would always mention that there is a weird account that doesn't follow him, but watches every single story he uploads.
he has a letterboxd account and he has seen somewhere around 2000-3500~ movies (most of them are adventure movies)
his favourite fast food is either hotdog or hamburger.
he always keeps one of those funky lighters in his pocket? the ones you can buy at the 24/7-open shops
he heard urban legends from every single city/hold in Skyrim, and he will tell you about them every time you pass by them.

Ctrl-Alt-Teach: A Hysterical Odyssey Through the Silicon Jungle of Science Edutainment
Alright, folks, strap in and power up your flux capacitors, because we're about to take a warp-speed dive into the ludicrously sparkly universe of Educational Technology in Science! Picture this: a classroom, but not your grandma's chalk-and-talk borefest. No, sirree! We're talking a hi-tech Hogwarts where Harry Potter meets Elon Musk on a virtual field trip to Mars.
First up, let's talk about virtual labs. Imagine cooking up a chemical storm without the risk of turning your eyebrows into a singed memory – that's virtual labs for you. It's like playing "Potion Craft" in a lab coat, minus the explosions. Picture students conjuring acid-base reactions with the flick of a finger, a la Tony Stark designing his suit in 'Iron Man'. No more "Oops, I spilled sulfuric acid!" Just a bunch of "Aha!" moments with zero casualty rates.
Digital platforms in science education are like having Yoda in your pocket. Ever wish you could just WhatsApp Einstein about your physics homework? Well, digital platforms are the next best thing. They're like a Swiss Army knife of knowledge, a buffet of brain-boosting bytes. Think of a platform where Neil deGrasse Tyson and Bill Nye the Science Guy are virtually duking it out in a 'Science SmackDown' for the title of 'Ultimate Edutainer.'
Interactive software is where it gets really bananas. We're talking software so engaging it makes Fortnite look like a game of Go Fish. Imagine dissecting a frog without the smell or the squish – that's the beauty of interactive 3D models. It's like Pokémon GO, but instead of catching Pikachu, you're nabbing knowledge nuggets about the human heart.
Now, how about taking a stroll through the Jurassic period? Forget time-travel; augmented reality can teleport you straight to the world of T-Rex and Velociraptors. It's like “Jurassic Park” minus the impending doom. You can almost hear Jeff Goldblum's voice in the background, muttering about chaos theory as you virtually feed a Brachiosaurus.
But wait, there's more! Artificial Intelligence in science education is like having a Jarvis for your lab experiments. AI can predict results, suggest experiments, and even crack deadpan jokes while you're titrating acids. Imagine a Siri with a PhD in Chemistry. That's the level of sass and smarts we're dealing with.
Drones in education? You betcha! Why walk around a geological site when you can fly a drone and see it in 4K glory? It's like playing "Google Earth: Extreme Edition". And when you're done, you can switch to 'drone racing mode' for some extra adrenaline because, why not?
In the world of ed-tech, coding is the new literacy. Kids aren't just learning to code; they're coding to learn. It's like if Minecraft and Scratch had a brainchild that could solve climate change. Code is poetry, but with more semicolons and fewer metaphors.
The gamification of science education is like turning homework into a quest in "World of Warcraft". Every assignment is a mission, every project a boss fight. You're not just a student; you're a knowledge warrior armed with facts and a +10 Sword of Wisdom.
And let's not forget about social media. It's not just for selfies and cat videos anymore. Science educators are turning TikTok into a mini-MIT, with 60-second lectures that hit you like a photon torpedo of knowledge. It's edutainment gone wild, and the only casualty is ignorance.
But wait, there's a twist! Ever heard of educational escape rooms? Think 'Indiana Jones' meets quantum physics. You're not just learning about Schrödinger's cat; you're saving it from a metaphorical box of perplexities.
Now, for the pièce de résistance: holographic teachers. We're talking full-on Princess Leia projections teaching you about the laws of thermodynamics. It's as close as we can get to a 'Star Trek' holodeck without breaking the laws of physics.
In conclusion, educational technology in science is like a giant, interactive, knowledge-stuffed piñata. It's fun, it's wild, and it's bursting at the seams with learning opportunities. It's a world where science education isn't just a subject; it's an adventure. So, put on your virtual reality goggles, fire up your AI assistant, and dive headfirst into this madcap, sci-fi fiesta of learning. And remember, in the immortal words of Doctor Who, "The universe is big. It’s vast and complicated and ridiculous. And sometimes, very rarely, impossible things just happen and we call them miracles." Or, in our case, just a typical day in the life of educational technology. Ctrl-Alt-Teach away!

find your perfect home tutor in Delhi NCR - Best home tutors near me.
Don't settle for average; find your perfect home tutor in Delhi NCR. "Best home tutors near me." Again, it's there, like a grammar ghost in your Google search bar. We've all been there: scrolling through endless profiles, trying to figure out vague qualifications, and thinking if that "passionate educator" is really just a pumped-up graduate student. Don't worry, tired parents in the Delhi NCR! Let's get rid of the average and accept the best.
Don't bother with cookie-cutter classes. Think about learning trips that are tailored to your child's specific needs and the area around Delhi NCR. Think of a math genius who can easily make Fortnite comparisons for your gamer friend. Yes, check. Someone who loves history and makes textbooks into time-traveling adventures for your little Indiana Jones? Take it as done.
But how do you find these experts who teach? Skillzee doesn't just hire teachers from random online fields, though. We carefully raise them through a strict selection process, which means you get:
Experts in their fields who can make even math sound fun (we promise!). Mentors with a heart: They are more than just teachers; they are also cheerleaders, motivators, and confidence boosts. Advocates for personalized learning: There are no one-size-fits-all ideas here. We make learning fit your child's needs, goals, and learning style. King and queen of convenience: With flexible hours and lessons in your own home, learning can fit easily into your busy life in Delhi NCR. The best support team ever: We have a team that is always here to help, answer questions, and celebrate your child's successes. The best part? Stop searching for "best home tutors near me" over and over again. If you tell us about your child's school journey, Skillzee's local learning matchmakers will put you in touch with the best teacher in your area of Delhi NCR.
Think about this: Priya from busy Rohini, whose essays are now full of original ideas thanks to her Skillzee teacher who is a published author. Or Rohan from Ashok Vihar, who used to hate math but now loves solving problems and wants to be an engineer. These are just a few of the Delhi NCR success stories that Skillzee has helped grow.
So, why waste any more time looking for the "best home tutors near me"? Let Skillzee be your GPS for learning. If you go to our website and tell us what your child needs to learn, we'll find the best "tutor-farmer" in your Delhi NCR neighborhood.
