(A/N: Dedicated to one of my avid readers. This is a long, overdue request in the past. Apologies if it came out late since I was sort of stuck up with finishing other in progress fics of mine previously and I was having trouble getting the right inspiration for the premise of your request. But here it is now. A part of me is thankful for the beautiful yet bittersweet track of, “cowboy like me” from the Evermore album of Taylor Swift since the lyrics itself sparked an idea within me to create this oneshot fic of mine. Basically, the overall premise of the request is to write Takemichi who can fight and a bit sadistic with the pairings for almost everyone and a special participation of Takehina. I made it mainly a Takemikey and Takehina (even though they’re exes in this story) since the timeline is in Bonten arc – but in AU. Some side pairings will be mention to Takemichi so it’s also mostly a pairing for everyone. I hope you enjoy this request of yours, to one of my avid readers. I don’t own this franchise and the song cowboy like me. Respective and rightful ownership belongs to Ken Wakui for this wonderful manga and Taylor Swift for this poetic song. The maître d held the tray of alcoholic drinks with his right hand as he effortlessly circled around the ballroom hall littered with guests who’re dressed to nines with sparkling and elegant masks adorning their faces. He served each guest who called for his attention and requested for a glass filled with sparkling yet tempting moonshine encased with ice cubes.

It was a masquerade party.

Normally, he didn’t have any patience and interest in attending to gatherings such as this one. Preferring to leave it to his other members such as the advisor of their group, Takeomi and his top 2 and top 3 members, Sanzu and Kakucho to oversee the event.

Nevertheless, he’d make an exception since this was a special event. Not only did they acquire of the most successful partnership in the underworld of Tokyo, but a new era will be reborn again starting tonight. And he had no doubts that he will make it happen.

He proved it. Time and time again. Keeping his promises and word was one of his greatest strengths after all.

Soft music lulled into the air. The pairs started to occupy the middle of the luxurious, banquet hall and swayed gently into the rhythm of the music.

He wasted no his time as he strode towards the man who was wearing a royal blue three-piece suit and a coal-colored mask that was swirling with shimmering and elegant small Swarovski crystals lined at the side of it. His steps were idle yet confident at the same time.

“Would you like to dance milady?” He asked in his usual playful yet sincere voice that’s only reserved for him as he offered his gloved hand towards him.

He was the only one who could strip bare easily the other side of him that’s not apparent with anyone.

Electrifying Neptune hued irises clashed against his brilliantly dark sable orbs.

He accepted his offered hand. “I thought you’d never ask Mikey-kun. Also, drop the overly formal voice. It sounded weird on you.” The familiar light, airy tones and sweet laughter that’s akin to the soft chimes in a summer breeze of June that never failed to make his heart skip a beat as always.

“Awww. You wound me Takemitchy. I practiced so hard last night for this.” He feigned a hurt look on his face as he guided him towards the middle of the dancefloor.

Takemichi rolled his eyes playfully. “Now stop it with that look Mikey-kun. Would you want me to kiss it better instead?” He placed his hands on his shoulders as Mikey gently encircled his arms around his waist and pulled him closer to his frame.

Together they swayed slowly to the music.

“I really wouldn’t mind if it’s you.” Mikey whispered lowly against his ear that sent a delicious yet dangerous thrill on his spine.

Takemichi gazed at his face that was covered in a dusky, yet glinting mask shrouded with miniscule red diamonds and golden crystals that brought out the shade of his midnight eyes.

He couldn’t help but to be swept away by the hidden promises laid underneath his gaze.

“You’re still a rascal Mikey-kun.” He whispered back; his lips almost brush teasingly against his.

(Several years earlier)

A tall man dressed in a black pinstripe suit and a lavender necktie stepped out of the burgundy Porsche with the Ray Ban sunglasses adorning his eyes. The heliotrope highlights on his short, raven locks glistened under the rays of the sun as he walked confidently along the streets of the city.

“You’re late again.” A bored voice drawled from somewhere inside the penthouse upon reaching the inside the top floor of the building.

“Better late than never my beloved brother.” Ran replied in amusement as he took off his sunglasses which earned a grunt from Rindou as usual.

“Whatever. I’m going out now. Koko called me to assist something in Kyoto. Keep an eye on Hanagaki if you don’t want to earn Mikey’s ire when something’s bad happen to him.” Rindou stood up and picked up his coat from the stand.

“Good luck on the errands Rin.” He chortled as Rindou flashed him his middle finger as he left the penthouse and closed the door.

“I’ve prepared something in the dining table…” The familiar airy yet soft voice greeted his ears and he turned around to came face to face with the raven-haired boy who wore his signature awkward smile on his lips and those wide, expressive oceanic eyes that held most of his thoughts and emotions like an open book.

Hanagaki Takemichi.

How could someone not know him? Especially in the world of delinquency?

Ran had saw him several times in almost every gang fight that was held before starting from the Bloody Halloween war to the Tenjiku fight that had him displayed his reckless yet ballsy attitude and valor.

His determination and honesty were laughable…yet…it was something else entirely.

No wonder Kisaki had always been pissed off at him.

Many other people who were clearly bigger and stronger than him was also shook at him despite being beaten down several times.

And he couldn’t help but to be fascinated by him.

“Isn’t that considerate of you Hanagaki-kun?” He crooned. “Preparing a meal for someone who is clearly an obstacle from you roaming free outside to escape?”

His words made the other’s ears tinged with pinkish hues and face beet red as he sputtered.

What an amusing guy.

“Well, I just don’t want you to exert too much effort when you get here cause I know that you’re exhausted from whatever you did earlier…!”

It made him laughed airily.

“You’re pretty entertaining sometimes Hanagaki-kun. Now c’mon let’s eat those food you’ve prepared.” Ran shot him a playful wink and walked past him going to the dining room.

It didn’t escape in his peripheral vision about the adorable confusion and shyness that engulfed his face.

Somehow Takemichi’s appearance made his days more interesting and vibrant.

The waiter placed the plates of savory foods in their table after they’ve ordered a group of meal that was like a feast for ten people.

“Are you sure Takemichi that you can pay for all of this?” Kakucho asked in askance as he stared at the banquet of food laid in front of them.

“I’m sure of it Kaku-chan. Don’t you have a bit of a faith in your childhood friend?” Takemichi asked in feigned offense.

“You know that’s not what I meant Takemichi.” Kakucho sighed. “You ordered these bunch of foods where it’s just the two of us and I doubt it that we can finish eating all of them. I just don’t want your money to go to waste.”

“Don’t worry about it Kaku-chan! Think of it as like a reunion lunch of some sorts since it’s been years since we last saw each other and I’m just happy to see my childhood friend again.” Takemichi beamed at him.

Kakucho blinked a few times before he coughed slightly and prevented himself from blushing at his words. While it’s true that it’s been ages since they last each other, one of the few traits that Takemichi still actively possessed was how damn honest and sincere he was most of the time. It was both endearing and embarrassing at the same time.

“Okay whatever you say. Let’s just eat.” He muttered as he picked up the spoon and started to scoop some soup from the bowl.

Hours had passed with them eating in companionable silence and some mild conversation injected in the midst of their lunch along the way.

Takemichi mostly do the talking with him answering and listening quietly to what he had to say. Even if he was too talkative for his own liking…Kakucho found it nice…and comforting…the vague memories of their lost childhood washed his senses.

He found himself missing it.

He found himself missing Takemichi despite the terrible turnarounds of their own destinies.

“Ah, sir excuse me!” Takemichi’s voice jostled him out from his nostalgic thoughts and watched him whispered something at the waiter with an arched brow.

Afterward Takemichi let him go smilingly with the waiter nodding politely at him. “Thank you for letting me know sir. I’ll go ahead and send him the bill.”

As soon as the waiter left them, Takemichi took his hand and quickly stood up and pulled him outside of the restaurant.

“Oi Takemichi! Wait! Why are we leaving suddenly? The bill wasn’t given to us yet.” Kakucho asked in half confusion and half exasperation.

“Silly Kaku-chan. Do you even think that I have the capacity to pay for all of that? We have a great benefactor who can pay on behalf of us!” Takemichi grinned at him.

“What do you mean…?”

“I saw some politician eating at the other side of that resto. He had a notorious reputation in money laundering and other forms of corruption within the government. Not to mention, he’s a dickhole who mistreats his wife physically and verbally. So, a little bit of a punishment like this will be nothing for him anyway.” He shrugged but his usual tender, blue eyes held nothing but coldness within them.

It was at this period that he realized that Takemichi was still the same yet different at the same time.

Yet he still had a soft spot for him inside his heart.

His viridian irises looked in feigned disinterest as Takemichi kneeled to the traitors who were gagging and drooling in the pieces of cloth tied around their mouth, desperate tears streaming down their cheeks.

“Ph-ph-phlease… re-releash us… we don’t wanna die yet…!” Words came tumbling out of their lips in the middle of their agonizing cries while Takemichi just smiled at them beatifically and caressed their heads gently.

“Ah, as much as I’ve wanted to make you all cling for that thin kind of hope… I’m not that cruel. Besides you all knew what you’re all getting yourself into when you joined our gang right?” Takemichi replied cheerily as he brought out a gun and pointed at them.

Upon seeing the gun pointed at their faces, one of them trashed and cried loudly.

“Traitors have no spot in here except in hell.” Takemichi smiled coldly before he pulled the trigger, blood came splashing all over the place.

He might put on act of being bored and indifferent to all this event but Sanzu could not deny that he was facing one of the most beautiful smile and sight in front of him aside from his own king, Mikey.

“So, how’s that Sanzu-kun? Did I pass your initiation test?” Takemichi faced him with a bright smile on his face as specks of blood coated his cheeks and clothes in crimson.

And for the first time in his life, Takemichi had caught his attention and his heart leaped erratically inside his chest.

That day fate had decided that he’ll also serve and protect Takemichi alongside with their king, Mikey.

“No need for you to ask that Hanagaki since I think you know the answer to that one.” Sanzu smiled sharply at him, his eyes gleamed with unabashed curiosity and interest.

Rindou eyed the raven-haired boy analytically behind his indifferent yet intense lilac irises.

Unlike his brother who was much more flexible, talkative, feisty and playful around other people, he was much more reserved, silent, critical and preferred to observe things in the background. Although he admitted that being in the shadow of his brother’s colorful personality and aura irritated him sometimes, being in this position had its perks in certain situations.

Just like now.

They were dealing currently with asking…no…interrogating possible people who could be their lead into the clusterfuck disposable shipment that happened unexpectedly at the Ōsanbashi Pier a few days ago.

They were tasked in finding some leads on the how, why, what, when and where it exactly happened.

And he wasn’t pleased being paired up with this bubbly, naïve male.

At all.

Hanagaki Takemichi had an irritating bright disposition around him. A sunny smile that he wanted to punch. A pair of wide, blue eyes that could not lie. And a gleeful buoyancy that he can’t stand of.

He didn’t understand why his brother was interested in him.

Nor Mikey who had an irrational fixation and possessive behavior towards him.

He doesn’t get it.

And he watched him critically as he does the work of conversing with the 2 people who wore fearful yet hopeful expressions on their faces.

‘What the fuck is he doing?’ Rindou thought exasperatedly. They don’t have time for this pointless conversation. If he was in Takemichi’s position, he would’ve just pointed the gun and demanded answers from all of them.

He was about to make a move when Takemichi turned around and went back to his side with a bright expression on his face.

“It’s all good now Rindou-kun. I’ll tell you all the details that they’ve spilled to me earlier. Now c’mon we only have a few minutes before Mikey-kun asks us to come back to the headquarters.”

“Wait Hanagaki. Are you sure you extracted something important from them?” Rindou asked suspiciously because in his own experiences you don’t get anything with just a “mere innocent conversation.”

“Yup! I’m sure of it. You can check with them if you want.” Takemichi smiled cheerfully at him and gestured for him to look at the 2 people he conversed with.

What the hell.

When Rindou looked at their direction, he masked his own surprise upon seeing the pale and terrified faces looking at them.

Just from that look alone Rindou had decided. “Right. Tell me about it as I drive the car.” He took out the car keys.

He didn’t need to be wizard to know that Takemichi told some incriminating thing to them that would probably ruin their lives if they don’t cooperate.

Who knew that he had it in him?

He hid a smirk as he opened the door of the car and slid inside.

He understood now why they’re enthralled by his presence. And he might be the additional one as well after this day.

Koko looked at the glass of wine placed silently at the side of his table. His attention on the financial documents that he was perusing was cut off temporarily because of it.

His brows furrowed and he noticed a shadow looming on it that made him looked up and arched a brow.

“Hanagaki?” He questioned at the smiling raven-haired boy in front of him.

“I’ve read somewhere that when you drink alcohol it lessens stress and elevates your mood and relaxation. You looked stress Koko-kun. So, maybe a glass of wine will help?” He offered him that signature innocent yet determined smile that made Inupi besotted and followed him religiously back then.

Although he wasn’t closer to him like Inupi does, he understood the charisma that Takemichi had. It could almost rival that of Mikey when it came to making people listen and beckon to their words.

A force to be reckoned with.

Nevertheless, it still came to a shock to him that Takemichi was willing to join their gang and did things that was a complete opposite of what he stood and believe of in the past.

Koko didn’t know on what to think and feel about him right now.

But one of the few things that remained the same was he still possessed the genuine concern to those people that he held close to his heart.

To a fault.

It exasperated and amazed him sometimes.

And maybe…just maybe…he was also spellbound by Takemichi’s invigorating presence like Inupi a long time ago.

But he would not admit it until he was in a grave.

“Thanks.” He muttered and drink the glass of wine, unable to withstand the warm hues of his tender gaze directed at him.

And the skeletons in both our closets

Plotted hard to mess this up

And the old men that I've swindled

And the ladies lunching have their stories about

But that was all before I locked it down

“Maybe in another timeline you were really happy with me Hina.” He said in a stony voice, yet silent tears streamed down his cheeks as he stared at the woman who was standing a few meters apart from him in an alley.

His form was mostly shrouded by the darkness of the area so she cannot see the entire expression on his face.

But Hina knew him. Knew his heart and soul from the very start. Even if he could temporarily deceive her with a coldness within his voice and actions, his heart and eyes cannot lie.

So, he mostly confined himself in the darkness as he talked to her because he knew that once Hina will see him falling apart, she would beg for him to stay and he’s not sure within himself if he can withstand her like that.

Hina had been his strength and weakness at all.

“But I am happy with you Takemichi-kun. I’m willing to stay by your side. I’m willing to wait whatever it takes so please…” Hina’s voice grew fainter and smaller as a small sob escaped from her lips.

“If you’re happy with me then you wouldn’t be crying like this, so you need to let me go Hina. This was for the best. Don’t look for me any longer. This is the last time that we’ll ever meet. I don’t regret on loving you, but this is the end. So do not wait for me Hina because I’m not really worth it.” Each word that slipped past his lips was like a stab through his heart and soul.

But he had to do it.

He had to.

Because destiny wasn’t kind to people like them.

In every timeline, he brought nothing but pain and misery to her by either her dying or him ending up as fucked up person in general to the point of leaving her with no context that left her emotionally scarred and heartbroken for life. And he wouldn’t want that to happen to her in the long run.

He loved her so, so, so much that he’s willing to let her go to pursue her own happiness without him.

Because their worlds are different.

Hina was the shimmering light of his existence.

Yet at the same time he was the bottomless pit of despair that brought nothing but disappointment and misery not only to her but to the people around her.

Seeing Hanagaki Takemichi in the flesh was like a reminder of his past that he wanted to move on.

It was like Shinichiro had possessed his soul and body because of that familiar sincere smile and eyes that held steely determination and an aura that you could trust your life into.

Takeomi was witnessing the glory days of the Black Dragons whenever he saw his presence and the way he handled the situations and people around him.

He didn’t know if this was a blessing, or a curse bestowed on him since it also reminded him of how he failed Shinichiro and didn’t even paid attention to him when the news of his death had hit him back then.

Too wrapped up in his own problems to give a damn about his funeral.

Maybe this was his punishment whenever he saw Takemichi.

The smile that was devoid of malice. Eyes that was always open yet steadfast at the same time.

He knew about the boy’s sacrifices that he’d made to get here. The way he dirtied his hands just to get Mikey to finally listen to him.

Regardless…

Takeomi felt like this was another shot given to him by fate to rectify his mistakes.

Because no matter what he did, he couldn’t help but to flock towards Hanagaki Takemichi.

Like a moth to a flame.

And this time he will not make the same mistake twice with Shinichiro and will protect him from now on.

“Thank you everyone for coming here. It’s an honor for us to have you people celebrating with our success. But even so, there is also an important reason why we’ve gathered you around here.” Takeomi’s calm yet compelling voice from the top of the staircase of the ballroom hall caught the audience’s attention and looked up at him. Behind him were the Bonten members who were looking indifferently down the crowd.

“Joining our celebration here is the Bonten leader which is a feat considering that he doesn’t attend formal parties like this religiously.” He added.

Murmurs and speculations erupted from the crowd.

“Wait. Isn’t Mikey the leader? I mean he’d always attend parties like this several times in the past although he doesn’t mingle with the crowd.” One of them whispered.

“But I heard he was just the acting president of their gang.” One of them whispered back.

“Really?” Another piped up from behind them.

Mikey stepped up and nodded to Takeomi who silently understood and backed away.

“Listen up people.” He said in a terse yet commanding voice that made the crowd quieted down in an instant.

“I’m happy to introduce all of you our leader, Hanagaki Takemichi. Any disrespect or questionable actions against him will not be allowed as you’re also directly questioning our presence.” Mikey announced calmly as another male who wore a glittering mask stood beside him and finally took it off to reveal a pair of deep, blue eyes and stylishly short raven locks coupled with a pair of earrings on his ears that displayed the Bonten symbol on them.

“Thank you Mikey-kun. I’m looking froward to work with all of you and hopefully get along with everyone.” Takemichi said with a cheerful yet ruthless smile adorning his lips.

The crowd just stood there silently before a round of applause reverberated inside the halls.

Mikey took ahold of the other’s hand and gave it a firm yet gentle squeeze. He looked at Takemichi blankly, yet his eyes held a silent reverence and fondness for him.

He looked back at him tenderly, squeezing back his hand in return.

They let the world fell away and noises drowned between the two of them.

THE GREAT ND REWATCH OF 2021 / SEPTEMBER 10, 2019 // the seancé

watched this while drinking and working my second job after my full time job (hence the drinking) when my supe called to tell me i didnt do enough work for them and could i start doing more because being tired after working an 8 hour day was just. unacceptable. (while i'm drinking during this ENTIRE call) anyway 🍸 i use nance/nancy interchangeably like luce/lucy

-"denial: smalltown USA's favorite pastime" 👌🏻👀

-the begrudging kiss + george w the coffee = lmfaooooooo awkss nance

-wonder who this FBI agent friend of owen's is since they never get to meet 😕

-"we just opened!" / "work ethic" how nancy views the claw/work is manifested in her constant lateness and skipping out. like she says "i never thought i'd be wearing this" its clear she has some of that upper middle class/white suburban bias against restaurant working that only becomes okay in the pretext of saving up for college. this is made ironic by ryan who jokes in s2 about having no money and working at a coffee shop, sharing nancy's opinion. also ironic is how a group of her coworkers "not my friends" at this same place she puts little appreciation into turn out to be her biggest support group

-carson & family dinners: seeing john sanders' texts w nancy and trying to keep up with what shes doing / makes you wonder how ryan would approach as a dad. judging by s2 he's less subtle than carson but possibly more effective for it (i have so many nancy&ryanthoughts but i'll wait till the reveal ep)

-steaks lmaooooooo what a white suburban dad thing to say

-"we are on the same side" / "why does it feel like we're on different teams" : laura/ace and nancy/nick mirrors (almost like some kinda men vs women showdown but these women do NOT trust these men...)

-why is the precinct "the least haunted building in horseshoe bay"? does lucy not haunt the police bc she knew karen was trying to get revenge/"justice" for her? or bc she doesnt want to haunt karen at all? and what of other ghosts? a police station seems like prime ghost material for officers of unsolved cases. is it chief mcginnis with his link to the supernatural keeping everything under control? if so, what happens when he leaves and tamura shows up? (based on the dress ep i cant remember if hes woke to the supernatural or not)

-"you would need an object lucy touched the night she died" nancy like -->😌it me

-okay. anybody who hugged lucy would HAVE to know she was pregnant?? like wtf

-LAURAAAA lmfaoooo

-UNPOPULAR OPINION: laura/nick - hatefuck - hes strong enough to top her with words AND hands - bringing out something tougher created by prison (like it rough/lose control) nick is presented to be so kind and almost always on top of his emotions but laura is def a canvas that can take a few hits. i can definitely see her being attracted to how much he doesnt really like her and wants to stop her from always getting her way. her pretentious ass motormouth is practically begging you to grab her by the arms and shake her to shut her up (and she would be begging you to shut her up too)(ik s2 nick/race talks/his mom ep would never ever do this to anyone but its a choice "what if" to me)

-this casting for teen candace to adult is on point

-so two days after lucy's death they pay him 50 grand from a shell company? he says it's for services rendered but then for what services? does everett know or suspect that the drews took lucys baby and pay them for taking care of an impertinence, including lucy, not really caring what really happened to her as long as shes no longer a threat to him? honestly could see a cover up. nance only does the reveal in her balmain tazer glory and we dont really get an honest reaction out of him iirc (the new actor they switched to shows wayyyyy less emotion than s1 guy) and he could easily fake surprise. obvs celia doesnt know bc s2 but whos surprised at that. i wonder what tipped her off that nancy could be ryans baby and prompted her to test. hmm. and payroll vs shell account. why would it have been paid differently. sus. 🤔🤔

-the irony of nancy picking at nick's story at the inn for karens deal + nancy straight up ignoring nicks proof w this transfer... like ep 1 "i'll tell you about my past if you tell me about yours" except...no, actually. "i'm just trying to solve this / it feels more like you're trying to solve me" its so true. and nancy really badgered nick into telling about his conviction but it was kinda payback for showing up at the claw and making her admit their "relationship" -like when george says "you need to be just as relentless", it was equal but nasty. like. nick never asked george for details about ryan that way. he even admits he doesnt wanna push her to ace after learning what not to do with nancy.

-this seance has nick so irritated w nancy lmfaooooo

-"half sister" so josh and patrices' last name is dodd- his grandpa must be a dodd also for the name of the shop. wonder why lucy's last name is sable, and where her dad is, and where josh's dad is as well- there's no mention of dads or stepdads anywhere for these two

-mcginnis knows theyre innocent / "work together" he knows they arent really suspects but he just wants to fuck with nancy. could be playful or just nancy's naivete. maybe he actually kinda missed her fucking around in his work and is trying to make up for the lost time when she withdrew from mysteries d/t her depression after kate

Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Billy Gunn, Bart Gunn x Fem Reader- “Supersoak that Ho”

In 1998, the WWF is increasing more and more in popularity, and so are some of the WWF stars: Stone Cold Steve Austin, the Rock, Kane, Triple H/D Generation X, Sable, Debra, and even you.

Since the 1980's, the WWF have had toys aimed at prepubescent kids, and they even sell and have toys aimed at prepubescent kids during the late 90's Attitude era: arguably the most inappropriate, raunchiest, shocking, and violent era the WWF has ever had (yes, there's also the WWE 2000's Ruthless Aggression era, which is debatable over which was more violent and inappropriate).

Honestly, seeing WWF stars in the late 90's do toy commercials and have toys aimed at prepubescent kids made of their Attitude era wrestlers is pretty shocking considering the era, there was even a lot of controversy over having toys aimed at young kids during such an inappropriate, violent WWF era.

And speaking of that, in the summer of 1998, 3 members of D Generation X did a Supersoaker commercial where they didn't say their obscene, iconic catchphrase and do their equally obscene gesture, but did hose down Sable, albeit surprisingly, DX grabbed the cameraman snapping pictures of Sable for a photoshoot, only for her to walk away.

Despite this commercial sounding pornographic on paper (3 men shooting water from huge water guns on one of the company's biggest sex symbols), this commercial really isn't inappropriate at all.

This commercial gave you an idea.

However, in June of 1998, the leader of DX who was easily the hottest, sexiest member of that faction that hadn't left the company was growing facial hair, and him growing facial hair turned you off.

He was a little hot in June of 1998, but that facial hair slightly ruined him.

It might make him look more badass and he might've looked better here than in 2006 when he had that bushy handlebar moustache, but you prefer him without facial hair than with it.

However, by the end of his birth month and around the time of his birthday, he shaved his facial hair off. Hooray!

Even better, a former D Generation X member who also has a birthday a few days before Triple H's was back in the WWF, albeit not wrestling, and this former DX member whose birthday is close to Triple H's looks hotter and sexier than ever before.

How great is that?

Not to mention, July is known as being a hot month, Stevie Wonder even has an album titled "Hotter than July", and it was hot in the summer of 1998.

You needed something to cool your jets.

You told 4 of the sexiest men in the WWF an idea you had with them, 3 of them are D Generation X members, and they loooooved your idea.

Hell, Jerry Lawler, Vince Russo and Vince McMahon would love this idea too, but Jerry is a bloated, creepy, statutory rapist, Russo is a smarmy, egotistical Noo Yawk smartass with idiotic ideas and McMahon is a racist, unoriginal, Trump supporting manchild, so they can go fuck themselves.

3 DX members you invited outside were Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Billy Gunn, who all took some fully loaded Supersoakers Billy and the 2 other less attractive DX members promoted in a commercial with them.

The other man you invited with you was Bart Gunn, a former tagteam partner with Billy Gunn who's been sexy all year in 1998.

And yes, he's brought a Supersoaker filled with water with him as well.

You were dressed in a white top with no bra underneath and short denim Daisy Duke shorts.

When you ushered them outside, it was a hot, humid day, where the sky was blue and not a single cloud was in the sky.

And you're in need something to cool down.

Once you were outside, you stood in front of these aforementioned 3 DX members and Bart Gunn.

NicoMaki, Love Live, 1.7K, 4/?

Summary: Snowball fight, anyone? Everyone?

Chapter 4

Maki buttoned up the shirt, soft, linen, luxurious, slid the jacket over her shoulder, so light as to almost count as cloud fluff and after a quick adjustment of the collar, glanced at the mirror. While preferring jeans and flannel for going outside and sweats and pajama pants when her home hasn’t been invaded by obnoixious Japanese D listers, whenever Maki had an opportunity to dress up, she appreciated the style and skill Kotori always delivered with flair. For Honoka’s Christmas video, Maki was dressed in a ivory cashmere tuxedo with the slightest red striping. It looked amazing. Granted, the way the shoot was set up, what Honoka’s TwigVid audience would be seeing was Maki’s back and profile, but Maki felt good and that was all that mattered. She winked at herself. And then something thudded into the basement door, causing Maki to jump.

She rushed the door, tore it open, and glared. The short one, with the short ginger hair, who didn’t seem that obnoxious was staring with a guilty look, crouched down to pat together another snowball. Nico, the short one, with the long sable, flowing hair, who did seem that obnoxious, finished the delivery on a snow missile that knocked Rin in the shoulder, causing her lean and accelerate as she hit the snow with a thump.

“Hey!” Maki shouted.

Nico turned her head and did a double take, her crimson eyes narrowing as she muttered something in Japanese.

Maki stepped out into the snow. “What did you say?”

A voice came from above, “Nico-chi, I didn’t know you were back. Where’s Umi?”

Maki glanced up, Nozomi was hanging over the railing, wrapped in a robe.

Nico shrugged, “Still with the designer. Nico got bored.”

“Not enough fussing over you?” Nozomi sniped in Japanese.

Nico, in a black and gray striped shirt dress, a short, fuzzy teddy bear fur type open jacket over it, and clunky moto boots over sheer black stockings, wasn’t dressed for the weather, Maki thought as Nico waved a fist toward the deck.

Rin dug herself out of the snow and headed toward Maki, with a question of her own. “Are you dressed like snow for a reason?”

“I am not dressed like snow.” Maki replied curtly.

RIn picked up a handful of powder and held it out to Maki, speaking slowly in English, “Snow.” Then she held the snow up to Maki and pointed, “Snow.”

Maki resisted the urge to knock the hand away as Honoka came tearing around the corner and Nico leaned down to pat together another snowball with a daring look in her eye.

“Uh oh, Nico’s gonna get me.” Rin shoved Maki forward as Nico started her toss, which got Maki a face full of wet cold. As she spluttered and her vision cleared, she heard both Nico and Rin laughing hysterically.

Honoka had scooped up snow with the hand that wasn’t holding a garment bag and shoveled it in Maki’s direction as she rushed her, “Ha, Maki! You’re the target.”

Arms raised to knock down Honoka’s rain of snow, Maki plowed forward, checking Honoka to the right, and making her own snowball. Nico was still doubled over with laughter, if Maki threw hers at the right angle, Nico might faceplant in the snow and wouldn’t that be a nice return for involving Maki. Plus, it would be hysterical. Maki felt left out of the laughter. While Maki was winding up, Nico caught on to her plan, and with a quick curse in her native tongue, Nico slid toward Maki, colliding with the taller woman.

“No sneak attacks.” Nico connected with Maki’s midriff and Maki nearly fell over her. The cold air was suddenly perfumed by a fruity, musky warmth and Maki was surprised by how lively Nico felt, like a minature turbine ready to power a town through a blizzard.

“Help! Nico!!!” Rin shouting as Honoka tackled her into the snow brought Maki back to the current scene, her arms full of a grumping Nico, who seemed to be trying to get them both upright, Rin was screaming like Honoka was actually hurting her, and then to add to the fun, Eli came around the corner with a small woman in an oversized army green parka following her.

“Konbanwa, Ayase-san!” Nozomi called from the balcony, “I was just getting ready.”

“It’s Eli, remember!” Eli waved, “this is Koizumi Hanayo, a client of mine who lives in Tokyo. She wanted to meet all of you.”

Koizumi seemed to be looking for someone specific Maki thought as the newcomer’s violet eyes scanned the snowy scene.

“Hey, you’re cute.” Rin scrambled out from underneath Honoka and sprinted toward the newcomer, arms out, grabbing the girl in a hug, “I’m Rin.”

Koizumi screamed, “Somebody rescue me” and Rin stepped back, shocked.

Honoka sat back in the snow, disappointed, “So is the snowball fight over?”

“No.” Rin said, which got buried in the “yes”s echoing from everybody else.

Another shrill, LOUD noise from the new person, an excited squeal this time, “Nico Ni!!!!” and Maki suddenly realized her arms were still full of Nico as the new problem sprinted toward the two of them.

Nico shouted, “NOZOMI!!!”, then freed herself from Maki, striking a pose to confront the charging Koizumi, raising her hands to her temples, “Nico Nico Ni!

Koizumi stopped in front of Nico, her hands clasped together, bouncing in the snow, “Oh my god, you’re so cute And tiny. And that dress...oh my god, is that her new line?”

Nico giggled, “Nico Ni is always happy to meet a fan, especially one with such good taste.”

Maki snorted, that sounded so faked. Nico whirled and glared, her English quick and chopped, her arm pointing toward the trees. “You. Go. Somewhere.” Then the switch to fluency, “Nico is too busy to be pawed.”

“I wasn’t pawing you. You ran into me.”

“Pawing.” Nico stated deliberately, brushing her arms as if to knock off Maki’s damp, grubby hand prints, “No touch.”

“Gladly.” Maki knew she was snarling. Koizumi had slumped at the no touching and Maki shook her head and turned back to the house. She and Honoka had a long evening ahead of them, “C’mon Honoka, we need to get started.”

“Oh yeah,” Honoka bent down to pick up the discarded garment bag, “I remembered my costume.”

“Where’s the hat?” Maki knew Kotori had built Honoka an oversized Nutcracker faux bearskin hat.

Honoka frowned, then reversed her direction, “I left it in the garage. Be right back.” Honoka sprinted off, garment bag flapping as she ran.

“Hey, Maki?” Eli was using her need a favor voice. Recently, everybody was using their need a favor voice. Except her parents, who were using their demand an action voices. That was Maki’s life right now.

Maki sighed before she turned, “Yeah?”

Eli was obviously in plotting mode so she moved to close whisper zone, “Do you have any space....”

“NO.” Maki’s volume startled everyone left, Nozomi and Honoka had disappeared. Nico was listening to Koizumi race through paragraphs of glee while Rin stared at their exchange, mesmerized by the newcomer.

“Hanayo's parents booked her a hotel and sent her to get some exercise. She doesn't have anyone to talk to. She’s lonely. And terribly shy. Back in Tokyo, she spends most of her time on her computer in her parent’s basement. Don’t make me send her back to her no Japanese speaker on the premise hotel.”

Maki rolled her eyes, “Ask them if they can make room. Nozomi seems to like you.”

Eli sighed, “All right. But you really need to loosen up and have some fun.”

“I’m fine.”

“Suit looks great.”

“Yeah.” Maki smiled and shot her cuffs, “Kotori’s been in a really good mood.”

“You can almost feel it in the cut.” Eli patted above Maki’s elbow, “god tier tailoring.”

“Mixed with cashmere. Unbeatable.” Maki felt a shiver, the sun was going down and her hands were cold, and though wool the suit was neither made for outdoor nor impervious to snow and wet. “I need to get inside. Have a fun date.”

“Good luck with the taping.” Eli clapped Maki on the back.

“Thanks!” Before Maki turned back toward her music room, she caught crimson eyes staring and heard Rin say, “It’s like somebody turned winter into a suit, Nico. It’s so light. Snowflakes.”

Maki saw Nico shake her head and smile slightly as she replied “okashi” and then Maki was at the door before her brain autotranslated to ‘candy.’ But when she turned in surprise, Nico and Rin and Eli’s stray had gone around the side of the house to the front door. And Honoka was barrelling back down the hill, hands full.

Almost ready. Nozomi giggled. It never hurt to keep an eager date waiting just a few minutes longer. In Nozomi’s experience, it did the opposite of cooling them off. Flicking her long braid over her shoulder, she glanced down again at her phone. A quick swipe and she was at the picture again, Nico Ni, wearing the cutest of the latest Tae Ashida line, with the winter white tuxedo clad arms of the reclusive and mysterious hospital heiress Nishikino Maki wrapped around her. Now, no one else might have looked up the resident of the other half of the master suite, but Nozomi always did her homework. And so many young women were clamoring for more information about the distant and dashing Nishikino heiress. Nozomi was impressed. She might have made a play herself, but Nico actually seemed to notice this woman, which was rare. Nozomi knew one quick, anonymous, only slightly misleading post on her ultra private alt TWIG account, wondering who Nico Ni had flown to America to spend Christmas Eve with would drive Nico’s fans crazy with curiosity, which would lead to huge surge in interest when the redhead was identified, perfectly timed for the Minami Kotori Lunar New Year launch. Sure, Nico would be pissed when she found out and Nishikino would probably blame Nico when she found out, but as Nozomi stared at the pic, she saw Nico caught in a more natural smile, full of joyous mischief, than Nozomi had seen for years, and Maki obviously taking care not to crush Nico, the embrace lingering. Maybe some sparks would liven up Nico’s personal life, which was far too dull for any true friend to leave alone, especially one as addicted to gossip and mischief as Nozomi was.

Before she could change her mind, Nozomi shared the post, with a flood of cutesy hashtags. Then she grabbed her wrap, and rose. Time to put some sparks into her own temporary dull patch, with that hot blonde Baryshnikov-ette.

The early morning energy of the city buzzed around you as the tips of your chunky heels clicked against the pavement. You inhaled the sweet autumn air wistfully as a crisp breeze set to ruffing wispy tendrils of your hair loose. You’d have to fix that before your boss saw you- he hated the slightest trace of disorder-but you’d deal with that later. Traipsing down the sidewalk, you’d be damned before you missed even a second of this precious autumn sunlight.

Still, you shouldn’t linger too long. Places to be and all that. Refocusing, you tottered toward the entrance, carefully balancing a tray of coffees in one hand. As you approached your building, you took one last wistful look at the glorious morning sky before fumbling in your overstuffed purse for the key card to the elevator, the sensible part of your brain forever nervous of displeasing that high maintenance man. You didn’t dare be even a second late to see your boss-Namjoon was excruciatingly strict when it came to punctuality. You’d seen his intensity before when people were even minutes late, and though it was always a majestic sight to see- like witnessing the power of some apex predator- you were determined to NEVER be on the receiving end of it.

Realizing that was becoming more and more of a possiblity the longer you dawdled, you dashed into the office building, bolting through the elevator‘s closing doors. As the doors floated shut, you spared a glanced at your watch- 6:48am.

Phew. You would be okay. Letting your back rest against the cool metal wall of the elevator, your eyelids fluttered shut. If you weren’t 10 minutes early, you were 10 minutes late to Namjoon. “You’re totally okay. You’ve got this” you told yoursef.

Drawing in a slow breath, you used your free hand to snake your calf-hugging, plum pencil skirt back into place, blasted thing was always riding up when your hustled about too fast, and made sure your silky blouse was still neatly tucked at your waist.

Looking down, you eyed the pair of chunky heels you were breaking in today- you hoped you wouldn’t regret that. The crushed black velvet heels had just looked too cute to leave in your closet this morning. This is about the aesthetic™️ you thought, glancing down and wiggling your freshly painted black toes. As the doors began to open, you checked your reflection in the metal one last time, tucking the loose, wind blown strands back into place and steeled yourself to enter the office.

You were in Namjoon’s kingdom now.

“Good morning sir!” you bubbled out a bit too brightly once you reached his desk. “Hazelnut latte with an extra shot, just for you,” you chirped, plunking the cup down beside him.

Before half the employees had even clocked in, he was already deeply engrossed in the paperwork stacked high on his immaculate marble desk. Who knows how early he’d arrived here or if he’d ever left last night. Eyes never leaving his laptop, he absentmindedly waved an elegantly long hand at you- silently acknowledging your presence without ever looking up. “Yes, yes- agenda for the day.” He sighed, more of a demand than a request.

Without missing a beat, You began to rattle off off his detailed schedule for the day. “Yes sir—today you have an 8am call scheduled with your distributors in Hong Kong, a 9 am session with r&d to review their most recent mockups for the Sable line, your 10:30 workout, an 11:45 lunch with Castille to discuss the potential merger, and a 2:30 flight out to Miami for that charity gala event this evening at 7.”

Phew. Just reciting it made you winded- how on earth he lived it was still beyond you. But that was Namjoon. A visionary who had started his company from the ground up at only 17, he now ran one of the most successful fashion houses in the world. It had become such a massive brand that he barely even handled any design work anymore, focusing instead on his role as CEO overseeing his vast empire.

Namjoon was infamous in the industry for the way his work consumed him. He existed at a constant breakneck speed few humans could match-It was a wonder any man could maintain the pace he had for the past 10 years, but he showed no signs of slowing down. And anyone else who couldn’t keep up, employees and girlfriends alike, was immediately left in the dust.

That was just how he operated. He was like a shark that never stopped swimming.... which unfortunately meant that you couldn’t either. A fact that had been graciously withheld when you’d originally applied for this job.

You’d been hired as his assistant a year and a half ago, fresh out of college, bright eyed and eager to change the world- and afford your own apartment. As someone completely unfamiliar with his world, the job as his assistant had sounded alarmingly simple on paper and ludicrously overpaid. You’d been over the moon to get it.

That is, until you showed up for your first day and quickly realized that working for him meant YOU had to adopt his excessive hours and match said breakneck pace just to stay one step ahead of his constantly shifting scheduling. This career was the furthest thing from a blow off job, but the looming series of zeroes your newly signed lease wouldn’t allow you to back out now. No, you’d just have to figure out how to grin and bear it for the time being. And over the past year, you’d managed to excel if you did say so yourself- especially considering that beyond the prestige of his reputation and the sheer intensity of his workplace demands, just remembering your own name in the presence of his beauty made even the most simple tasks complicated. Shaking out of your thoughts, you carefully tuned in to listen once Namjoon spoke.

“Very well- have Marco deliver my navy Armani suit to the hotel for this evening’s gala. Remind Mina that her deadline on the Rodan account is fast approaching- I need her presentation mock-up in my hands by no later than 1pm tomorrow, and for the love of God, don’t let them put soy in my latte again!” He slammed his drink on the desk as you rushed to grab the cup before it spilled.

“Absolutely sir, I’m so sorry. The soy was for my coffee. They must have misheard my order. I take full responsibility.” You bowed apologetically.

“It’s forgotten.” He pivoted in his chair to look up at you, and your breath caught in your throat. You hated when he looked directly at you like this- it was too much. The man was stunning. It was problematic really. He already made you nervous enough. You really didn’t need the added difficulty of having to maintain direct eye contact with those deep set eyes of his. So you deviated to study his perfectly coiffed blonde hair instead. It had a silver sheen in the early morning light, delicate wisps artfully styled across his brow and arranged in a way that shouldn’t have been achievable at this early hour. “I have a personal task I’d like you to take point on today,” he gritted out, jaw set in concentration.

“Anything, sir,” you nodded, with an eagerness that made you cringe. It was embarrassing how much you wished for his approval. You were good at what you did and you knew it- which should have been enough for you. And it was. Sort of. Most of the time. But on days like this, when you’d already jumbled your first task, something in you clammored for a chance to earn his praise back in a way you didn’t quite understand. You were good at this job- but honestly, how many times had you flubbed the coffee now? You hated when you made small blunders that made you seem incompetent. You knew better by now, and Namjoon knew it.

He cleared his throat before he began, and you flinched. “A former mentor of mine has contacted me with the intention of having his nephew shadow me and learn the business. I am not in a position to tell him no, but I have neither the time, the patience, nor the inclination to teach right now. However, I am indebted to his uncle. So He will start with the company today, and I will leave his starting training to you. Once he has learned the ropes, I will handle the rest.”

Well that’s certainly not what you thought this was going….

“No one here has caught on as quickly as you did as a new hire. Your first month with the company was exemplary. Despite your occasional hiccups,” he eyed his latte with derision,” the majority of your execution in your work is flawless.”

That was the nicest compliment he’d ever paid you- and even though his eyes had long since gone back to his paperwork, you blushed anyway.

“Thank you, sir,” you replied hastily, words tripping over themselves in a jumble.

“When he arrives, you will educate him on how the company operates and train him in all your responsibilities. He will be your assistant for the time being. Following our standard trial period, he will be placed in whatever position best suits his skillset after that.”

“Yes sir, it would be an honor.” You were determined to do well at this. Besides, How hard could it be anyway? “What time will he be arriving today?”

“Unfortunately, he should be here any moment no-“

“GOOD MORNING, PEOPLE!!!” a baritone voice boomed as the door to Namjoons office was practically torn off its hinges.

You gaped back in surprise, not missing the way your boss rolled his eyes at the intrusion, as a young man about your age strolled lazily into the office. He was tall and excruciatingly handsome. His silky chestnut hair swept across his forehead, swinging against his lashes and barely hiding the devilish smile in his eyes. He wore a crisply pressed white shirt- its top buttons brazenly undone- with the sleeves cuffed up to the arcs of his forearms, black patent shoes and the tightest pair of black dress pants you had ever seen. They clung to his legs, and you saw muscles in places you had never imagined muscles could be as he swaggered right up to you.

“Hey unc,” he tossed at Namjoon. “Hey to you too” he winked salaciously at you. It was so greasy it made you want to go home and take a bath.

“______, this is …”Namjoon began...

“Taehyung” he interrupted. “Kim Taehyung. Tae to anyone as pretty as you.” Bowing at the waist, he took your hand and kissed the curve of your knuckles, never once breaking eye contact.

You snatched your hand back, wiping the back of it against your skirt. You wanted to crawl under the desk and die. Who did this guy think he is? You turned your pleading eyes to your boss who surely must have seen this idiot’s conduct.

“All right, that’s enough, Kim. Hands to yourself on company time.”

You huffed through your nose as you shot Taehyung an irritated side eye. Unfortunately, it only seemed to make his smirk grow.

“_____ will be handling your training as my schedule is currently booked solid. Any questions you have for me go directly to her. She will teach you everything she knows and train you to be her assistant. If you can survive that, we’ll discuss any further promotion opportunities then. And only then,” the gravel in his tone there intentionally to intimidate.

“So I’m getting paid to spend time with her? Sir, yes sir,” Taehyung’s voice dropped impossibly low on the last part, more of a rumble than a whisper, as he dragged his eyes along your form. You felt a disgusted shiver run through you. He was gorgeous sure, but this behavior of his was gross. God. It was going to be impossible to get anything done with him.

“Keep it in your pants, Kim.” Namjoon snarled impatiently as he stood from his desk, still somehow towering over the other boy, if not in stature then by pure intimidation alone. “You would do well to learn even a shred of the skill set _____ has. Some respect would do you some good. Don’t for a second think you are here on your own merit. I love your uncle, but he is the only reason you're here, and the only reason I haven’t terminated you all ready.” The leer in his eyes made you tense and it wasn’t even directed at you.

“ The second you fail- like I know you will- you will be out of here so fast, it will make even your empty head spin.” He glowered down at taehyung and dropped his voice. “And if you make ____ the slightest bit uncomfortable in any way, I will not hesitate to throw you out of here myself.”

Your lips parted at this display of protectiveness, and you felt your chest soar. You peeked out of the corner of your eye at Taehyung. His cocky smirk never faltered, but you caught the way he swallowed, the subtle way his jaw clenched at the reprimand.

“Now…. if you’ll both excuse me, I have a call to prepare for. ____ , I expect a detailed progress report by the end of the day and a weekly update as this matter continues.” Namjoon rebuttoned his blazer and began to reorder the presentation on his desk.

“Yes, sir,” you nodded obediently. “I’ve already ordered a replacement drink for this morning’s coffee. It should arrive shortly. Please don’t hesitate to let me know if you need any assistance.”

You turned on your heel, brushing past Taehyung’s shoulder as you made your way toward the exit. You could feel his hungry eyes on your hips as you walked, and you suddenly wished you had time to head home and change. You clutched your tablet to your chest and prayed this day would end, but it was barely 8 am.

God, this was going to be hell.

“No,” a chocolatey voice purred smoothly from a plump pout, “it’s not. It’s Givenchy to be exact.”

Your eyes narrowed into an appraising glare as you took in the man stood in the middle of your doorway. The first thing you noticed aside from his heart-shaped lips and unblinking owlish eyes that boldly stared back into yours was his height: He was short. And you weren’t just saying that because he didn’t match your Amazonian height; he was well and truly short despite the five centimeter inserts undoubtedly present in his shoes, which appeared to be custom Italian leather. Despite his height, he was of a rather sturdy build: His figure perfectly filled out the bespoke double breasted suit he wore—Tom Ford, if you had to hazard a guess—which peeked out from beneath his Givenchy overcoat. You had to admit his style was impeccable and his attention to detail, as clearly demonstrated by the fact that each article of his clothing was the same inky shade of black despite their differing brands, was remarkable. All in all, he was small, dark, and handsome. Chanyeol certainly had interesting taste, and this… “gift” was no exception.

“May I come in?” the mysterious man questioned in that deep baritone voice of his that did not match his stature at all.

You shrugged and stepped aside, figuring it would be rude of you to dismiss and then have to deal with Chanyeol’s annoyingly effective pout. “Come in.”

“Thank you.” He strode past you on his way to your living room, you mere steps behind him.

“So�� Who are you exactly?”

The man turned on his heel, a pleasant yet restrained smile etched across his strangely soft features. “My name is Do Kyungsoo,” he calmly introduced himself as he extended his hand for you to shake, “and I am a professional Dominant.”

You froze mid-handshake. There was no way you’d heard that right. “Excuse me?”

“Oh, I’m sorry, was my pronunciation off?” he questioned in near-perfect English, the ease with which he switched from his native language to yours made your head spin. “Sometimes loaner words sound foreign in the context of a different tongue. Should we continue the evening in English?”

Was he…was he showing off? Your mouth twitched in annoyance at his smugness, but you quickly shook it off. “No, your pronunciation is fine. I’m just a bit taken aback,” you clarified, your Korean dripping in honeyed innocence. He hummed softly in acknowledgement. This man was a conundrum. How could someone so small and so soft-looking possibly be the type to be assertive and commanding toward any partner, let alone you, the perfect picture of pride, determination, strength, and resilience—aka, The Ultimate Brat.

Yeah, no.

There was no way this was going to work. Chanyeol must have tripped over his own toes again and smacked his big head hard enough to dislodge the little bit of sense he had tucked away between his Dumbo ears.

“I know what you’re thinking.” He smiled that same soft, shallow smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes as he carefully shrugged off his overcoat, laying it delicately over the back of the wingback armchair.

“Oh, you do?” you countered in that same honeyed tone as you internally forced yourself to keep your eyes from rolling all the way back until you saw your brain.

“You’re wondering how this is supposed to work and if your partner Mr. Park really thought this through. How can someone who looks like me—short and almost cherubic in appearance, if I dare to be so boldly poetic—possibly be a dominant person in general, let alone in intimate settings, such as the bedroom?” You blinked, careful to keep a stoic expression on your face despite the shock coursing through your system considering he’d just repeated your thoughts practically verbatim. Not willing to accept the fact that he was a telepath (because that would be freaky—cool, but still freaky), you chalked it up to it being the result of him frequently being asked such questions. He gracefully lowered himself into the oversized chair (and it really took everything in you not to coo at how tiny and adorable he looked against the large backdrop) and crossed his legs, tugging at his cuffed sleeves before carefully crossing his hands in his lap. “The answer to your question is that it is exceedingly easy.”

A bemused chuckle floated from you. “I’m sorry but I think you might have spoken to the wrong Mr. Park because one thing I am not is easy. So—“

“I spoke to the correct Mr. Park,” he interrupted calmly, “and he stressed that fact to me repeatedly. Just as I assured him, let me assure you as well that I am more than capable of handling you. In fact,” a dark smirk pulled at the corner of his lips, “brats like are my specialty.”

You scoffed, “I am not just some brat.”

“Yes, you are. Your denying such a blatantly obvious fact does nothing to dissuade me in believing it, but rather just confirms what we both apparently know to be true. But no matter, I still won’t have much trouble breaking you.”

Narrowing your eyes, you crossed your arms and leaned back against the cushioned back of the sofa. “I don’t submit to just anyone.”

He shrugged, “I’m not just anyone.”

“And why should I believe that? I don’t even know you.”

“No, you don’t. I will admit it is rather unfair that I know more about you than you do me. So let’s change that, shall we? Ask me anything you’d like.”

“How old are you?” you immediately fired off.

“More than old enough to be in this community and own my own business.”

“How long have you been in the community and had this business?”

“I’ve been a member of the community for eight years and have had my business for six years.”

“How have I never heard of you before now then? Is ‘Do Kyungsoo’ even your real name?”

“It’s real enough for our purposes, yes. I operate my business via word of mouth.”

Your jaw slackened slightly. Word of mouth. Had Chanyeol subbed for this man before? You certainly wouldn’t put it past him and it’s not like such a revelation would upset you. But in that moment you felt pure jealously slice through you as you thought of your goofy, loud, precious boyfriend being pushed to the edge over and over again without even inviting you to watch. The bastard. “Hold on. How did Chanyeol get your information?”

“I am not at liberty to say; but please know I came very highly recommended.”

“So he never subbed for you before?”

“Again, I am not at liberty to say. I sign an NDA for the benefit and security of each of my clients.”

Your brow furrowed. “An NDA? Really?”

“While I pride myself on my discretion and most of my clients are comfortable enough with just my word, it has been my policy from the very beginning to have such agreements in place for the sake of my more finicky clients as they need something a bit more binding, shall we say, in order to agree to soliciting my services.”

“And do you already have one prepared for me?”

“I do,” he confirmed with a nod.

“Let me see it,” you demanded, stretching out your hand expectantly.

“As you wish,” he conceded as he produced the agreement from his duffel bag (which you hadn’t even noticed until that very moment) with a seemingly uncharacteristic flourish. “I have six copies in total drafted, one set of three in English for your benefit and the other set in Korean for Mr. Park’s, with each party involved receiving a copy of each. As you can see, Mr. Park has already signed and I will sign after you do. But first,” his voice trailed off as he slid a sleek dossier from his bag toward you. “We must negotiate and agree to terms. I’ve already had a very thorough consultation with Mr. Park and he provided me a detailed framework from which to operate. However, as he is an indirect party in this evening’s proceedings, I need to confirm which kinks will be in play this evening as well as define and set your boundaries.”

You flicked open the dossier and carefully scanned over each word, every turned page leaving you feeling more and more exposed. Thorough was an understatement. On one hand, you were impressed and quite flattered Chanyeol had practically listed every little thing that made you tick. On the other, you felt a bit perturbed that a literal stranger knew these incredibly personal and intimate things about you. Yes, it was his job to know these things, but did he really have to know all of this? And did he have to bullet it no less? You took a deep, steadying breath as you closed the folder before handing it back to him. “Everything listed looks good to me,” you said nonchalantly.

A deep chuckle rumbled through his chest. “Well of course everything looks good to you, they’re your kinks after all,” he pointed out.

“Touché. So how exactly are we going to do this then?”

Kyungaoo shifted forward in his seat, a wicked glint flickering in the depths of his sable eyes. “Mr. Park made it very clear to me during our discussion you, as you so perfectly declared earlier, ‘don’t sub for just anyone.’ Well, I don’t accept just any sub, especially when it comes to beats such yourself.” He held up his hand to cut your denial off before you could even vocalize a syllable. “Don’t deny it. We’ve already confirmed you are and Mr. Park mentioned it at least six times in our consultation. You are a brat, but a very unique one at that. You lifted your brow skeptically. “What would that be?”

Kurtbastian fic - “A Dalton Boy Dying to Be Used” (Rated NC17)

It's Easter Sunday, and Kurt has chosen to observe the holiday at home with his sub instead of at his club, by eating chocolate and decorating ... eggs. (1577 words)

This is another little scene to break up the tension from the last chapter to the next chapter (coming up soon). I wrote it in honor of Easter, but I felt a little sacrilege posting it yesterday, all things considered xD Dedicated to @freakingpotter, to whom my paint brush reference belongs (because she's an amazing, wonderful artist, so when I put artist specific things in a story, it's usually for her :D) because I miss her :(

“Are we staying here tonight, Master?” Sebastian asks, watching Kurt walk back in to the bedroom after being left for close to an hour unattended. Sebastian didn’t misbehave. He wouldn’t dream of it, and not just because he couldn’t move, bound on his back on the bed. Obedience is the road to reward in Kurt’s house, and reward is usually Kurt. Besides, Sebastian can’t assume that just because Kurt’s not in the room with him that he doesn’t know what Sebastian is up to.

Kurt has an uncanny sixth sense when it comes to Sebastian, which leads Sebastian to believe that Kurt has a nanny cam or two set up where Sebastian has yet to find them.

Kurt had left Sebastian tied to his bed comfortably, the way he does whenever they’re about to partake in a more sensual session – silk scarves wrapped around his wrists and threaded underneath the mattress, pulling his arms out to his sides; ankles cuffed in fur-lined leather on the opposite end, keeping his legs spread. Kurt eliminates discomfort and forgoes the use of pain so that Sebastian can concentrate on absorbing pure, rapturous pleasure … and not respond to it.

Scenes like this are some of the hardest for Sebastian to handle because they skirt the boundaries of emotion. They’re psychologically taxing, straddling a border between Sebastian acting as an object, a mere receptacle, and being a lover. Kurt lavishes Sebastian with attention that shadows lovemaking – gentle caresses, tender kisses, and selfless body worship. Sebastian isn’t required to wear a blindfold or a gag. He is encouraged to watch Kurt work. He has permission to talk and moan, unless those privileges are specifically taken away, but the trade-off is that he doesn’t get to touch or kiss.

And he isn’t allowed to cum.

“We are, preppy,” Kurt answers, kicking the door shut behind him. Sebastian finds it odd and unnecessary that Kurt would do that, seeing as they’re in his house alone, but it’s a ritual for Kurt – a way to lock them inside their own little world, a space where ex-boyfriends and ex-lovers, work stress and school strife, have no place. It’s symbolic, the way almost everything with Kurt is steeped in symbolism, from his clothes to his décor to his intricate tattoos.

“But … don’t you need to be at the club? Don’t you have something special planned for Easter, Master?” Sebastian knows that Kurt usually spends his holidays at his club, and that he plans special theme events for his customers. Kurt’s club is more his home than his actual house is, and his regulars are like his family. Kurt is never alone when he’s at his club. There’s always someone available to fill his voids when he needs them filled. But since Kurt met Sebastian, they’ve spent the holidays together. Sebastian likes that. He likes the intimacy of having his Dom all to himself. Here in Kurt’s house, Sebastian doesn’t feel the pressure of having to act like the perfect submissive in front of anyone. He’s just Kurt’s sub here, in the most comfortable, erotic, and personal atmosphere imaginable … and he doesn’t have to fight for Kurt’s attention.

“Wh-what eggs, Master?” Sebastian asks, afraid that “eggs” might be a code they haven’t discussed yet.

Kurt’s face darkens, the kiss he blows signifying that something deliciously devious is about to begin.

MUN QUESTIONS. Q1 : if you could write your character your way in their own movie , what would it be called , what style would it be filmed in , and what would it be about ?

A1 : a solo wasp movie not starring janet van dyne would be criminal. i’d do the solo janet wasp movie first (either post!agent carter set in the cold war with her having undercover superhero adventures with hank or rewrite the mcu timeline altogether and have her be a founding avenger with the rest of them). THEN, have a sequel movie where janet is training hope as her successor.

also, i’d LOVE an animated mini-series with nadia having science adventures. Saturday morning cartoon style with monsters and villains of the week while recruiting members for G.I.R.L. she can even do ‘nadia science facts” in-between commercial breaks a la sailor says. Q2 : what would their soundtrack / score sound like ? A2 : a lot of classical music (mostly compositions from 17th-19th century that accompany a ballet), alternative rock, and 80s/80s-inspired eletronic-dance pop. Q3 : why did you start writing this character ? A3 : there were a lot of avengers character ask and rp blogs, especially when i first joined tumblr, but i didn’t really make up my mind on rping her until after seeing the movie and the want to explore her character, because her characterization is pretty great.

A4: i’m someone who often hides my emotions, and i often end up looking cold without intending on it, so i really enjoyed seeing a character who is defined like that? she expresses her bitterness and unapologetic anger that is rarely seen in heroic characters and that it doesn’t shy away from the idea that she could easily block out the light and turn into the darkness, but underneath her no nonsense cold exterior, she’s really empathetic and compassionate. and seeing her finally getting what she rightfully deserves, and knowing she’s gonna be the biggest damn hero the world’s ever seen is just amazing.

similar thing can be said about nadia in that her optimism is refreshing in the current state of comics.

Nadia Pym: i mean if i have to find ONE nitpick it would be that her overly sugary upbeat personality comes off as "too quirky”. i love the writer and artist of the solo series, but i see why some people can get annoyed by that, especially when they didn’t expect her series to take the colorful, fun, lighthearted, there is very little drama (eg: squirrel girl, batgirl) route as opposed to a traditional action drama legacy character approach (eg: ms. marvel, the atom rebirth )

Hope Van Dyne: i relate a lot to hope’s cynical and snarky personality, but the fact that she’s the exasperated, strong, serious, work-focused female interest trope found in nearly every movie is very…meh.

if you’re going to make her a villain at least give her a GOOD REASON to be one. WHAT IS THIS ‘KILL THE AVENGERS BS’. your parents are hank pym and janet van dyne. FOUNDERS OF THE FREAKIN AVENGERS. hank literally passed the ant-man mantle to scott lang before you were even born! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! YOU GREW UP WITH THESE PEOPLE! HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE?! THERE’S A MILLION REASONS TO BE A VILLAIN BUT THIS ONE MAKES ZERO SENSE. (i guess her being jealous of cassie would be her “reason”, but that’s a really cheap route to go considering how close the pym-van-dyne and lang family are. which leaves the “she’s mentally unstable” which im not even gonna touch.)

she isn’t even cool as a villain this could have been so cool! WE COULD HAVE HAD A VILLAIN ON PAR WITH ULTRON IN TERMS OF THREATENING. all that build and all we got was “MUHAHAH IM EVIL AND IM EASY TO DEFEAT IN 2 PANELS” all i see is a bunch of writers going “OOOH PLOT TWIST~ THE CHILD OF TWO SUPERHEROES IS ACTUALLY A BAD GUY OOOOH~”

sorry. im just disappointed by the lost potential in this idea . I genuinely like the idea. Hope Pym and Henry Pym Jr.. Twin siblings who are raised by Hank and Janet, and one going on the path of being a villain, and the other deciding to be a hero could’ve made a good story. this could have been executed a LOT BETTER than what we actually got.

A6 : we love doughnuts, are often deep in thought and forgetful of the world around us, wear mostly dark clothes, not really interested in romance, think holograms and robots are the coolest things ever, would probably marry a robot lol Q7 : how does your muse feel about you ? The amount of different breeds worldwide, makes for a very difficult and long list indeed. This is because so many of the breeds have several ‘varieties’ that are also recognized as breeds in themselves.

In my research through many reference books, specialist articles and web pages I noticed that some lists included most rabbit breeds but then omitted others.
