( out of mana )#ooc chatter.#; it makes me so mad!!!!#; the evanuris enslaved their own people and then one of em drops the veil#; cutting the people off from the magic they relied on so deeply to survive#; leaving them almost entirely helpless to fend off the humans who came next#; meanwhile the guy who dropped the veil takes a thousand year nap and then#; comes back to tsk tsk at the dalish instead of idk.......educating them????#; about the culture they've lost?????#; i love solas he's so interesting to me#; and i get that he was ALSO doing the best he could with what he had/knew#; and that he was like the only one of the evanuris who challenged the tyranny#; AND that the long sleep was likely a result of what it took to make the veil#; but i'm also like#; *shakes fist* fEN'HAREEEEEL#; bc that's just like#; it's not an excuse to judge what's left of the culture he hasn't been part of#; in ages#; nor witnessed all the ways it's been forcibly degraded in his absence#; which he does kind of start learning but STILL#solas critical#; i suppose#; just in cases#; nika don't look!
