Fallin’ Manma Air, 2005 Aya Takano 

This is a beautiful lithograph made by Aya Takano that I wanted to talk about. I think this piece is so beautiful!! The composition makes the piece look as if its was a still from a Studio Ghibli film. its as if the viewer is almost laid in the lap of Takano’s character watching the planes in the sky. 

I mostly draw my images in the same exact angle every single time and when viewing the delicate composition of this work and how simple thing such as changing the angle of the painting can add an entire new dynamic to the work inspires me to how I should definitely be experimenting a lot more in my drawings.
