Ukraine is actually the most successfull country in Eurovision if you compare their wins to the amount of participations:

Ukraine won 3/18 contests (2004, 2016, 2022) -> 16,67

Ireland and Sweden are only 3rd and 4th.

This slightly favours countries who joined later in Eurovision histories (or stopped participating for 30 years) so you should also look at total wins. Ireland and Sweden didn't win 7 times for nothing. The most successfull founding country (France) will never be able to enter the current Top5 (5th is Israel with 8,89%), France "only" won 7,7% of their total participations.

But these statistics aren't about who won the most on purpose. They are about a country who participated less times than 35 other countries and still won every 6th competition they entered (not literally, but statistically).

This definetly is a Ukraine appreciation post.
