eunie and ethel have a past together, even if it's just a short chapter of their lives in which they had once met

however, eunie deeply respects ethel! but that also means she looks up to her and wants to surpass her!

meanwhile, ethel respects eunie as well, but doesn't really view her as a rival or competition. but whenever eunie's competitive side shows, ethel isn't backing down and offers eunie a challenge!

eunie views it more so as impressing you with her strength and skill, while ethel views her competition with eunie as training!

however, it's not just competition with your two girlfriends! they only compete when it comes to battle, but they don't do the same in your every day life

they work together quite well in their everyday life and don't mind sharing you!

sometimes, eunie gets to spend more time with you, while ethel fulfills her commander duties. and sometimes, you spend more time with ethel, as eunie is out with the other ouroboros, saving the world!

both of your girlfriends are incredible women and you often praise them for their accomplishments! but both of them get super flustered when you do…

while a soft blush hushes over ethel's cheeks, eunie turns as red as a tomato at a single compliment, hiding behind her wings!

yet when they are the one making the first step, they actually love affection! as long as you let them be in control and decide when to kiss and cuddle you, they won't get flustered!

Kinda crazy that in Xenoblade 3, the first recruitable character who is not from Keves or Agnus (re: not of xenoblade 1 or xenoblade 2) is Grey, a dual wielding veteran gunslinger of the class Full Metal Jaguar

Kevesi and Agnian Heroes living in the City headcanons

-Ethel and Cammuravi make literally everything a competition (who can run the most laps around the entire City, who can eat the most torpedo wraps in one sitting, good ol' fashioned brawls at the wrestling ring, etc)

-Alexandria tried to enroll in university but was turned away for being too young. High school quickly bored her to tears. It begged the university to get Aionios's resident smartass off their hands. The university finally caved in and let her enroll to study business and IT.

-Valdi is everyone's go-to guy for fixing Levnises, of course. He insists on bunking in the tech quarter, forgoing actual furnished rooms in the residential quarters.

-Cammuravi was initially treated as a walking fire hazard until Ethel and the Ouroboros gang convinced people that he will not in fact burn down the entire City, by accident or otherwise.

-Fiona regards the park as her favorite spot in the City. She's the City kids' favorite playmate.

-Isurd is a new member of the City's tabletop and board game club. He got Zeon to join when he mentioned that some games are farming sims.

-Miyabi joins the City street performers, alternating between her flute and fans to entertain folks with music and dance.

-Not wanting to steal Ethel and Cammuravi's thunder as already established sparring instructors, Teach spends much of his time at the university to learn how gentler arts are being taught.

-Zeon is absolutely enthralled by the concept of greenhouses and balcony gardens.

-Ethel's second home is the City library. The senior librarian is practically her adopted mother.

-Juniper spends more time outside the City than in it, patrolling and exploring the wilderness outskirts to their heart's content.

-Ashera is the resident terror among Lost Number recruits and soldiers. She's always showing up to the training facility uninvited, joking about eating them for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, depending on the time of day. Ethel swatting her off like a fly is a daily occurrence. ("Ash please go away, I already fought you yesterday, you're scaring the poor recruits")

-Isurd becomes a regular at the City's most popular massage parlor and acupuncture clinic. It's very hard for Taion to hold a proper conversation with him there when he's emitting satisfied "oohs" and "aahs" every five seconds.

-Despite stating precautions and giving warnings to discourage any derring-do, Juniper is not popular among parents for being a "bad influence" on their children, who want to slide down ziplines willy nilly. They have to limit their sliding to nighttime, when the kids are in bed.

-It was Fiona's idea to grow more flowers around the Remembrance Stones. City folks backed the project and believe the place has become even more lovely and precious for it.

-Valdi has his own names for all the City Automatons. Half the Lost Numbers think it's endearing and the other half think it's downright annoying.

-One day Hollis gathered all of them at the medical facility to sit down for The Talk. Alexandria and Teach took meticulous notes. Zeon, who had just grasped mastering how to grow potatoes, was hopelessly confused. Juniper, a veteran at growing potatoes, was just as confused. Ashera kept making faces like something had died in the room. Valdi nodded along politely, but really couldn't care less about something that's not at all like making Levnises. Fiona and Miyabi thought the whole thing was simply magical. Isurd stared off into space, mulling over that kind of possibility with a certain someone who loves saffronias. Ethel and Cammuravi looked around everywhere but at each other, their faces red as Noah's jacket.

4 headcannons for Ethel or Cammuravi? i luv them thank u!!!

I'm gonna do Ethel b/c I generally have more to say about her.

Headcanon A:  realistic

Ethel would describe herself as a "merely decent" strategist and tactician. And while that is underselling it a little bit, she is overwhelmingly good at putting bodies in the ground, and had to learn to adjust her expectations of what even her most elite strike teams are capable of.

Headcanon B: while it may not be realistic it is hilarious

Ethel is very good at insulting people when she doesn't mean to. Part of it is the flat affect, part of it is that she's very duty-focused, part of it is just being The Elite(tm) so almost every compliment she gives sounds calculating and/or backhanded. Her reputation as an ice queen is mostly undeserved, she's genuinely very sincere, that's just the way she speaks.

Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends

Ethel was broadly disliked when she was still rank and file, because her performance would bring the average up so much that it made people around her look incompetent in comparison and her struggles to communicate her feelings to the people around her made it seem like she didn't care. A lot of people were looking forward to seeing her crash and burn as a commander when she was initially given Colony 4, including some people at Four.

As a result of always feeling some level of judgement aimed towards her, Ethel gravitated towards Cammuravi. There are other people in her life who would praise her openly and without reservation, but she doesn't know how to trust that praise, knowing it comes from a place of being put on a pedestal as the famed Silvercoat.

Headcanon D: unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own.

Colony 4 was brand new when it was activated, built specifically for Ethel. Regardless of that, it had to undergo extensive modifications once she settled into her rivalry with Cammuravi, and has been rebuilt at least half a dozen times because the two of them came so close to slagging each other and then never quite managing it.

ethel had a firm grip on her blade, as she stood in front of you, glaring at the agnian soldiers who had ambushed the two of you on your date.

“e-ethel, wait– let me help you!” you pleaded, but your girlfriend only turned around to you for a short moment and shook her head.

“whether you like it or not, this is the safest option. please, don't fight it. you don't have to worry, i'll take care of it.”

you wanted to protest, but ethel had already turned around and went in for an attack. out of reflex, you closed your eyes, just as ethel had commanded. she didn't want you to see such a brutal side of herself and you were kind enough to turn a blind eye to that side of her.
