#Espio does NOT AT ALL agree but this is one topic wherein Silver's stubborn thick-headedness is not easily swayed

Do you think there's any topic that could have Espio and Silver devolve into genuine fighting? Mayhaps not under normal circumstances, but maybe if Silver were to be particularly stressed and ended up completely cracking under the pressure, he might be more willing to get into a loud fight

I think Silver's brashness and self-sacrificial nature is something that he and Espio can bicker over, to the point wherein it becomes a full argument. Silver is reckless: he is in over his head without even knowing it, he's got full faith in his abilities, and logical thinking and ensuring his own protection are not his strong suits. And while Espio knows that Silver's PK and spirit are both tremendously strong, he dreads the day wherein a foolish mistake might cost Silver his life. But Silver argues back that he needs to fight to ensure the world is protected and doesn't care about putting himself on the line, and so far it has always gone just fine and he has recovered from any injury he ever sustained! It is one of the very few topics that can result in a genuine fight between the two of them. Espio's temper here plays a huge role as well: if he saw Silver nearly perish before his very eyes, he is not going to remain his calm and collected self once the battle is over. Similarly, if Silver is still high on adrenalin and suddenly he's getting yelled at about being careless (which I figure is a huge kicker for him because he takes pride in the extremes he's willing to go to to protect the world), he will respond in kind. They'll manage to work it out between the two of them, because Espio eventually puts a stop to their fight and just grabs Silver by his scruff to go patch him up, acting as if the other's hissing and glaring are leaving him cold (they aren't). It could definitely take a few hours before either is willing to go back to talking more civilly!
