Shouto Tododoki who rlly like to spend money on you head cannons! Rlly short but I hope you like them!

• This man LOVES to spoil you. Seeing your face light up when he buys you something you've wanted is like the strongest drug to him.

• He's ready to drop thousands a day on whatever you want. Food? Ordered. A shopping trip? Put your shoes on and let's go. A spa day? He's reserving a 12 hour session for you at the best Spa Japan has to offer.

• He can struggle accepting physical touches, as well as struggle to express what he wants in words. So what he can't express that way he certainly can with his dad's credit card.

• Will drop a dress off that he saw you eyeing at the mall the other day, and bring you on the best date you've ever been on.

• it's very obvious that his main form of love is gift giving. Even though he spends a lot of money on you, he also likes to give you things he made, or found that remind him of you. And you accept them with the same grateful smile that you do anytime he gets you something's.

• so basically this man just wants you to be happy, and if buying you whatever you want can help do that, he's all for it.

The most painful part of Shoto Todoroki as a character is that I think if he could stop himself from being born, he would do it without hesitation.

What if his father found out about Touya having both his mother’s ice and his fire before he was born? Would his mother have been happier? Would she have never been sent away? Would Touya have been happier? Would he have never become a villain? Would his father have been satisfied? Would Fuyumi and Natsuo have been valued?

I think it’s easy for him to see himself as less than human sometimes. Just a byproduct of multiple experiments — finally a perfect doll with no defects. His actions during the beginning of UA and the sports festival were a direct protest of that role.

“Look at me father. Look at this faulty doll that you made.”

It was better to be faulty with defects because that meant that he was human.

I think he stares into the mirror at the scar on his face. I think he’s grateful for it. It was from his mother. Her misshapen stitching — a marring feature on an otherwise perfect merchandise.

He is the perfect split of his mother and father, so he finds that it’s the easiest to lay the blame on himself rather than any of his other siblings. He’d encourage it if he could. While everyone else is their own person, an adaptation of a recipe of their parents, you can see each half of him plainly.

He might be his mother’s son but he is also his father’s.

It’s why the dream of a perfect future doesn’t have him in it. He is the very evidence of his father’s wrongdoings.

A perfect future can’t have him in it.

One of the many things I find so relatable about Touya that isn’t talked about a lot is that he has a massive internal conflict between what he knows logically, and what he actually feels.

Touya has known for a very long time that Shoto is not to blame, but he still wants to hurt him

Touya knows that he had no way of being what Enji wanted and knew that Enji was never going to see him as good enough but he still tried so hard for his approval

Knowing things doesn’t change the way you feel about situations. Knowing something isn’t someone’s fault doesn’t stop you from being angry at them. Knowing that the way your parents see you isn’t your fault doesn’t stop you from trying to fix it.
