Roy hearing Al refer to Ed with She/Her pronouns and getting very confused

Ed being canonically tiny and malnourished

Roy coming to the conclusion that Ed is secretly a girl in disguise as a boy for safety or respect or smth

Hughes hearing Al refer to Ed with She/Her pronouns and coming to the wrong conclusion but being really supportive nonetheless

Hughes: Riza I think maybe Ed is trans

Riza *Figured the system out weeks ago*: No no, it's much weirder than that.

They start a bet over how long it will take Roy to figure it out except they don't realize that the other one has a very different idea of whats going on.

Ed hearing Roy he/him the Fuhrer and realizing Roy is on the treason bus way sooner

Roy can't figure out how Ed figured him out so quickly

The boys meet Armstrong and refer to him exclusively as Ma'am

Armstrong tries to correct them and tell them that they should call him sir and Al just pats his shoulder and tells him that he should have more self esteem bc they think he's great.

Armstrong is left confused but weirdly flattered.
