100 days of mental healthcare: day 94/100

My day started off really well with an early acupuncture session and some self-care time. This Sunday is Father's Day, so I went out to buy gifts for my dad and my favorite uncle. The rest of my day was kinda blergh: I had a few anxiety attacks and drank very little water, but I also finished the social media content I needed to produce and listened to some good news podcasts. It wasn't my best day, but I hope to sleep well so I'll be stronger tomorrow. There's nothing like a nice read before bed to heal you from the day.

In the beginning, there was nothing. From the nothing grew the roots of the Tree of Life- and the Tree of Life itself from that. Its roots stretched and wrapped around itself to create the EXO Planet. From there, life was born.

For peace, balance and protection, the Tree of Life produced eleven forces--eleven Legends. Each one created from a single drop of sap, each Legend was given an elemental or cardinal power to aid in the protection of Tree of Life.

To help and aid the protection of EXO Planet, the Legends created the Elyxion. Hand-picked by the Legends themselves, the Elyxion’s sole purpose was to record and guide the people of EXO Planet-- to keep them on the path of peace and balance. For many years, life lived in bliss.

From the depths of the darkness of the nothing came the red force. Sweltering with hate and festering with greed, the Red Force created the Evil. Plundering the EXO Planet, turning lush fields into dry and barren wastelands, pitting brother against brother, the Evil Red Force made its way towards the Tree of Life.

To protect the Tree of Life, the Legends divided the heart of the Tree in half. Time was overturned and space turned askew. The Legends left the care of EXO Planet in the hands of the Elyxion, before fleeing with the two halves. The eleven Legends split into two and traveled apart to two worlds that seemed alike.

Before the Legends left EXO Planet, they left the Elyxion with this: The two halves of the Tree of Life are equal and opposite to each other. One cannot exist without the other, for their hearts beat in unison. They keep balance in this world and the next. It is only when the End of the End is nigh that the Tree may be reunited and reborn into one perfect root.

With the Legends and the Tree of Life far from EXO Planet, the Evil Red Force left to pursue. To uphold their ancient oath, they attempted to cleanse the influence of the Evil Red Force from the people of EXO Planet, but the damage was immeasurable. To keep the future of the Elyxion safe and free from the negative influence, they kept to their own bloodlines and created the Exoluxion, severing all ties with the outside world.

Many years passed, and the Elyxion stood strong. They taught and cherished two ideals: strength and intelligence. Young Elyxions were taught hand-to-hand combat, strategic planning, weapon manufacturing, and advanced medical knowledge and practice. The Elyxion lived in peace and balance, as long as they remained in the Exoluxion, safe from the Evil Red Force.

I had a great day at work and I was very focused. I couldn't work out today due to my IV iron replacement procedure and unfortunately I had to deal with bedtime anxiety, but I tried to distract myself by listening to podcasts and writing. I'm feeling the cons of my menstrual cycle being longer than usual — I'm more irritable, tired and feeling emotionally vulnerable. I hope my period comes soon.

exo: i need them to make an album with the exact tone of the bar set they did duing elyxion (touch it as main inspo but then a full album of that and like groove and gravity type songs but jazzy-er) / skz: give me the rnb album please today / shinee: they've done it all and will continue to do it all so i will let them invent something / snsd: forever 1 was actually everything i could wish from them (but maybe something that results in them having swords in the teaser pics)

exo: ksoo and jongdae; *smooth rnb noises* / skz: hyungline but im taking away the autotune and instead they give me a vocal album with just some guitars and a piano <3 / shinee: taemin and key, more queer club music for me specifically / snsd: yuri and sunny, just for me <3
