This is so interesting to me because that's not what Tartar's vibes are in any localization that isn't the NOA version [as far as I know]. The contemporary speech mode aka heavy usage of 90's slang is only present in the NOA version. So it's really fascinating to see how differently everyone interprets this character as a result.

Imo, uniforms [which are often suit-like] work very well for Tartar since his whole shtick is creating "uniformity" through sanitization.

Most Tartar designs I've come across incorporate design aspects related to something a metro attendant would wear or lab safety equipment such as lab coats and gloves. It goes perfectly for the setting he is in and what his goals are.

So I don't agree with the whole "just another unoriginal, basic ass tumblr sexyman design" statement, I think that's quite unobservant & silly.

Anyways, I've seen so many different Tartar designs and I enjoy most of them. Seeing the variety in ideas and the love these people pour into their work is great to see, even if there may be designs or headcanons I'm personally not into. That's totally fine & cool, not everything has to be for me, or anyone for that matter. Nobody has to change their Tartar to cater to some stranger's opinion on the web.

Even if somebody's Tartar is "just another basic tumblr sexyman" that's not a bad thing. Just have fun with the character, that's all that matters in the end.
