in a violent nature has been so divisive with people I was fully expecting it to be like skinamarink levels of weird artsy shit (which for the record I would've also liked. I <3 skinamarink), but instead it just ended up being a somewhat meditative movie with awesome visuals... and not really that challenging at all. which I think was great, I think it struck a really nice balance for what it was trying to do, and in the process it was a LOT more fun and engaging than I was anticipating it to be. but also like. it's making me feel like a lot of people (specifically horror fans in this case) really need to expand their horizons a bit and try new things. cause if u thought in a violent nature was unwatchably boring I'm judging u just a little bit </3 sorry. it was simply not boring.
