#Dutch had Hosea and Anabelle and Colm all after him at one point and I think that is really funny
HI ITS ME THE MEAT EMOJI PERSON...!! could you draw dutch and colm together for me theyre my favorite crackship
Tumblr media
They are such a “man who craves the validation / worship of people, and is willing to do grand gestures of love to win people over” and “manipulative person who showers people with love before pulling away to leave them wanting more” dynamic. I genuinely love them and I need people to see my vision with them. They are TOXIC Yaoi. Two manipulative men are in a saucy tug of war over… something. Likely power and influence; Money, fame, and the freedom to be unstoppable outlaws.

Can I have a gang reaction to a reader who is a child of Colm? Perhaps captured by the gang around the same time as Kieran? Thank you so much ❤️
I tried to make this more gender neutral than usual. Also uh fuck this wasn’t really a reaction thing sorry
Three Men and a Baby
Kieran was assigned to the same post as you, near the Adler Ranch. It was your fathers way of looking out for you, but at the same time, not implying you couldn’t take care of yourself.
In addition, Kieran was more mouse than man in Colm’s eyes. He wouldn’t have trusted anyone else. Half his men would use you as leverage at the first chance.
Kieran urged you to go ahead while he occupied your pursuers. You weren’t sure if he was loyal to Colm or you, but you didn’t question that at the time.
It didn’t matter in the end, but the gesture was still appreciated
Weeks later, you and Kieran were on opposite sides of camp while tied up. So that you couldn’t conspire together.
Dutch looked at you often, usually with great animosity or intensity
Your relationship with him was strange to be sure. He watched you grow up a little. He remembered when you were just a little kid, your mother another of Colm’s nameless flings. Luckily, or unluckily for you, Colm fancied the idea of an Heir at the time.
Dutch and Hosea taught you a lot. Hosea still felt that same paternal warmth for you, but Dutch’s hatred for you father conflicted with his nostalgia. He remembered your little dirty hands ruining his fresh pressed shirts, your little fingers pointing to big words in his favorite books. But you shared blood with a murderer.
He noticed you and Arthur talking. Reminiscing. A lot of teasing on Arthur’s part. And he couldn’t help but remember how hard your father was on you. How many expectations he had. He had experienced so little love that he scarcely had any to give you.
You were released when Dutch realized that you were a victim to Colm too. That you’d suffered nights of lovelessness, just as he had after Annabelle. That deep inside, there was no way he could starve and imprison you. Not the kid who called him Uncle Dutch.
The gang knew better than to question the decisions of upper management. So while you were protected from the level of ridicule endured by Kieran, O’Driscoll was still scornfully muttered under the breaths of some when you passed.
Arthur was the only reason you adapted as well as you did. He trusted you still, and whether he knew it or not, he was an influencer around camp.
John would ask you about the old days Arthur would never tell him about
It took the longest to get to Javier, as you might expect. But a few drunken heart to hearts about your bastard fathers and poor mothers expedited things.
The girls found you a little easier to tease and goad than Arthur. Karen would ask about all sorts of things, like if Dutch was attractive as a younger man. Mary Beth and Tilly just treat you like their new kid sibling
So does Sean, but he can’t really get away with it without Arthur or John roasting him a brand new asshole
Micah, as you may expect, does not and will never learn how to act decent. But nobody is exactly going to cry betrayal if you were to beat his ass a little.
You can tell Molly wants to talk, but she doesn’t know if she wants to hear the answers to her questions. Anabelle is no secret, and Molly wants to know what kind of ghost she has to compete with
Hosea is just happy to have one of his many babies back
