Hello Tumblr people! ... Recently, I made a purchase from evenmin.com (I bought two coats) that were allegedly on discount. I first saw a post on instagram saying that their fabric is closing down due to the pandemic and they selling off their items for cheap. Now, I know this is too good to be true (the discount, not closing down a company with many employees) but I decided to purchase something and see how it goes. 

What I failed to do was to actually goodle the company because there was no contact information on the website...just an email address. I bought two coats and paid with my card. That purchase was made on October 30. Tow days ago, I decided to check my order on the website and it said “Awaiting shipping”. Now, usually most companies send you an email to tell you they have seen the order and will prepare to ship it. Not in my case. 

I send them email asking for additional information and still haven’t heard from them and I won’t hear from them because this is a scam. 

I googled evenmin and stumbled upon reviews from www.trustpilot.com - there were only six reviews ....all of whom say exactly the same - FAKE!!!

Their Facebook, Instagram and Twitter account is noneexistant. The website only has put the icons there, which if you click on, you’d be directed to the home page of those platforms.

According to a user from trustpilot, Evenmin “constantly  changing names on FB and their website. No physical contact details on any of their pages. Reckon they've been registered since 2017 and yet the web addresses were purchased in 2020“. 

Apparently, they were also known as poemkiss or chickvery.com.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THERE! You will lose your money! 

At least I’m happy I didn’t make a huge purchase and lose a lot! Or even my friends’ money. 

Do a background check (as much as you can) in google to see what’s the website’s online presence like and consumers’ experience with it.

UPDATE: There is another site that looks like Evenmin, it’s called www.selltide.com. Exactly the same style. Wow those people couldn’t even be bothered to change it up a bit.
