Eddie walked into the trailer, slamming the door behind himself and tossing a grease covered rag on the table with frustration. Wayne watched him carefully as he plopped down on the couch abruptly, muttering to himself through gritted teeth.

"So I take it the van is giving you trouble." Wayne was kicked back with the newspaper in his lap.

"I just can't get my hands to do what they need to do in this weather. It's like they cramp up from the cold and its pissing me off. How the hell am I supposed to have it up and running before Dani gets back?" Eddie rubbed his dirty hands through his hair and Wayne knew why he was so upset.

"Has she called?" He asked curiously knowing she hadn't called him since the beginning of her vacation.

"She apparently called Robin who told Steve who told Dustin who told the group that she would be home midday tomorrow but no she hasn't called again." Eddie picked at his nails and Wayne put the paper down.

"I thought you would be a bit more excited to see her considering you've been sulking about her being gone since she pulled out of here." Wayne watched Eddie roll his eyes knowing he wouldn't deny it.

"Yeah but she's been hanging out with her mom who hates me and Hawkins. Whose to say she doesn't come back to ditch me for someone better, who actually has a future beyond this town?" Eddie had never talked like this outloud to his uncle. Mostly because he knew how Wayne felt about him and hated hearing him limit himself to his reputation and last name.

"From what I picked up on at Thanksgiving, I don't see Dani's mother having any real influence over her decision making, let alone who she chooses to spend time with. Why would you worry about that now?" Wayne pressed.

"Apparently her mom has been shitting on the Munson name. Giving her all this history about my old man and how its in my genes to end up stuck in Hawkins locked up or working at a gas station." Wayne hated that woman. He knew how uppity she had always been but that never stopped her from buying drugs off his brother when they were younger. She often forgets that she isn't better than anyone just because she's seen the outside of Hawkins.

"What if she realizes I'm a waste of space? She deserves so much better than me, Unc." Eddie sounded so desperate, it broke Wayne's heart.

"Son, I can assure you that no one looks at you less like a waste of space than that girl. Dani is a strong minded, intelligent girl who thinks for herself and knows what she wants. Fighting for your life at a young age will do that to you." Wayne explained.

"Exactly! She's been through hell and for some reason she wants to be friends with me." Wayne laughed making Eddie frown.

"Oh boy. That girl is head over heels for you, Eddie. Don't kid yourself into thinking she just wants to be friends with you. I know you're smarter than that." Eddie blushed looking down at his dirty hands.

"I know how you feel about Dani but I also know that you've never been in love before so I can tell how god damn terrified you are." Wayne moved to sit next to Eddie.

"I don't have anything to give her, Wayne. Look at me. I'm a third year senior with no college aspirations and a part time job. I care enough about her to know that I'm not what she should want." Eddie looked at his uncle pitifully and he clapped a hand on his back.

"I want you to say it out loud Son. I want you to admit to yourself how you feel and know that the only person that has to think you're good enough for her...is her." Eddie nodded his head letting out a breath.

"She makes me want to be better, I just don't even know where to start with being a guy who could possibly deserve her." Wayne smiled at him. Watching Eddie grow up has been one of his greatest joys and all he can hope is that he continues to follow a path that will prop him up and not bring him down. That's what his mother would have wanted.

"How about you stop wasting time skirting around what people think of you and actually tell her how you feel. That would be a good start in my opinion." Wayne stood up, giving one last squeeze to Eddie's shoulder before walking back to his recliner.

"I would probably take a shower as well...you know, clean the grease from under your fingernails." Wayne teased making Eddie roll his eyes.

"I'll be sure to do all my primping before she touches down in Hawkins. Thanks Uncle Wayne." Eddie started back towards his bedroom to grab a clean change of clothes for a shower. Wayne tried to remember what it felt like to be in love at that age but it only made him think of Eddie's mother. He likes to think that things would have been so different if she would have ended up with him instead of his brother but it always made him feel somber. He only hoped that Eddie and Dani would have a much happier ending.

Period dramas- El Mestre Que Va Prometre El Mar (The teacher who promised the sea) (2023)

The film focuses on the life of Antoni Benaiges , a teacher from Mont-roig del Camp, in the Baix Camp, in Tarragona, Catalunya, who in 1935 was sent to the public school in Bañuelos de Bureba, a small town in the province of Burgos, Castilla la Vieja (Castilla y León). Little by little, and thanks to a pioneering and revolutionary teaching methodology for the time, he will begin to transform the lives of his students, but also that of the town, which is not always to everyone's taste.

It's based on the book of the same name by Francesc Escribano and has been adapted for the big screen by Albert Val, and its director is Patrícia Font.

To tell the story of Antoni Benaiges (Enric Auquer), the film interweaves past and present and the master's story will be known through the eyes of Ariadna (Laia Costa), a woman looking for her great-grandfather who disappeared during the Civil War.

The producers of the film wanted to emphasize the essence of this exciting story: " 'El mestre que va prometre el mar'  is a great story that has been unfairly forgotten for many years. With this film we are repairing an oblivion and at the same time valuing the work of the republican teachers and recognizing the struggle of so many people who still continue to search for their relatives buried anonymously in mass graves. An exciting and fully valid story.

Part of the technical team is made up of David Valldepérez, director of photography; Josep Rosell, art director; Dani Arregui, editor, and Natasha Arizu, composer, among other professionals.  

The film is shot for six weeks in various locations in the demarcation of Barcelona, in Mura, and in Briviesca (Burgos). It is a production of Minoria Absoluta, Lastor Media, Filmax and Mestres Films AIE. 

RTVE and TV3 participate and it has the support of the ICAA and the ICEC . Filmax is in charge of distribution to cinemas.

BEST XI 24-25 (WIP)

どうも、アラサー引きこもり海外サッカーオタクおじさんです。SNSから離れて情報を遮断し、U-NEXTでLa LigaとPremier Leagueの配信アーカイブを消費する日々。人生詰んでいます。気がついたら今シー��ン、日本語実況付きの試合はほぼ観ている。実況解説フェチ。ガキの頃から倉敷さん推し。

さて、「La LigaとPermire Leagueの今シーズン前半のお気に入りベストイレブン」を作って遊びます。小学生の頃に自由帳に書いていたやつ。現実逃避で幼児退行。シーズン後に見直すためのメモ。（シーズン後にも書くとは言っていない）

勝手な縛りで「1チーム1人だけ」にします。これのせいで勝手にたくさん悩みました。でもこういうのが楽しいのよ。選考基準もゆるゆるです。観ている試合も偏りまくりです。スタッツではなく印象と好みで選びます。なので異論は絶対に認めません。絶対に〜〜〜

La Liga

某アプリでそれっぽい画像を作ってみたら、いきなりデータが存在しない選手が出て��てしまった。悲しい。早く反映されますように。

Agirrezabala (23) / Athletic Club 同クラブだとユニフォームも買ったNico、違いを作れるようになってきたJauregizarあたりも入れたかったけど、Unai Simónが抜けた穴をここまで埋め切れるものかということで応援選出。昨シーズンより足元も良くなってきている気がする。バルサのIñaki Peñaも同様に素晴らしいけど、ここはバスク推しが勝ちました。

Asencio (21) / Real Madrid La Fábrica育ちのCBと聞くとすぐにPavónを思い出してしまうおじさん。たしかプレシーズンでも見たような気はするけど、こんなに落ち着いていたかしら。Cubarsíに負けず劣らず将来が気になる。早くカード作ってもらってね。マドリーだとBrahimも入れたいところだった、というか、もっと出してあげてください。

N. Aguerd (28) / Real Sociedad もちろんZubimendi、Zubeldia、Remiroの活躍はありながら、前半の堅さは確実にこの人のお陰です。ここまですぐにフィットするとは思わなかった。常に対角のタケを見ているし、空中戦も強い。怪我だけしないでね。絶賛伸び盛りのAramburu、コパで気になったPablo Marínにも頑張ってほしい。あとユニフォームを買っちゃったのでTurrientesよ…頼むぜ…。

Mingueza (25) / Celta de Vigo よく走れて、対人も強く、ゴールに絡む積極性もあり、両サイドともに任せられる。え、すごくない？マドリー戦の前半も圧巻だったし、ここからさらに評価されていくはず。全試合観ているわけではないけどムラっ気もなさそう。カメラでMoribaとAlonsoと脱バルサトリオで抜かれることが多い気がする。おそらく意図的。

Mika Mármol (23) / Las Palmas 咋シーズンから良かったけど改めて注目している。左で起用されることでチームの攻守のバランスを担っているイメージ。Cillessen、Kirianも渋いし、Fábio Silvaはのびのびとプレーできているし、後半戦は曲者として暴れてほしい。

Samú Costa (23) / Mallorca 潰せるし、戦えるし、意外にレフティー。上手さも持っている。Darder、Muriqi、Mojica（も入れておかないと怒られそう）らベテラン勢の前線での仕事を支えるのがこの若手というのもなんか良い。Robert Navarroも徐々に居場所を見つけられそうだし、ジャガー（とは呼ばれていないらしいけど）も復活して益々楽しみ。

G. Lo Celso (28) / Real Betis 怪我もあったけど序盤の輝きは素晴らしかった。やっぱり「サッカーが上手い選手」という印象。Isco不在の中でAbde、Vitor Roqueへの配給役としても最高。1列下がったときに強度を出せればIscoと共存とかもあり得るのでしょうか。どうなんですかベティコのみなさま。

Dani Olmo (26) / FC Barcelona 私なんかが偉そうに語ることはないです。10年前にフリーでクロアチア送りにしたフロントを恨むクレたちには同情しかないです。同様に戻ってきてレジェンドとなったパイセンたちに続いてほしい。

Álex Baena (22) / Villarreal 昨シーズンからオリンピックまで圧巻だったけど、今シーズンも完全にチームの中心。左サイドだけどいわゆるエストレーモではなく、10番が似合うけど16番を付けている、王道じゃないヒーローという感じが好き。Ayoseとも良い関係性。あとはGerard Morenoが完全復活すれば恐ろしいチームになりそう。

G. Simeone (21) / Atlético Madrid スタメンでも途中出場でも全力で汗をかく。アトレティではなくても初ゴールは感動しちゃった。インタビューの受け答えも息子感満載（？）でグッと来る。応援しちゃう。Gallagher（ガラゲールって発音されるの面白い）も含めて新加入選手が一瞬でシメオネイズムに染まっていくのはさすが。

C. Uche (21) / Getafe 今シーズン一番の衝撃。アッコさんじゃなくてもあなたは何をされてる方なの？と聞かざるを得ない。前線で起用する監督もすごいけど、それに応えるのもすごい。まだまだ波はあるけどそれも含めて気になって見てしまう。ValenciaのHugo Duro、GironaのAsprillaあたりも悩んだけど、前半戦ということであえて選出。

Premier League

こちらは全員ちゃんと出てきました。La Ligaよりさらにニワカなので許してね。

A. Onana (28) / Manchester United めっちゃ伸びる、めっちゃ跳ねる。監督交代でさらに足元の重要度が増した印象。Unitedは直近だとまさかのウイングバックAmadが最高ですね。

B. Davies (31) / Tottenham Hotspur 困った時のベテランですよ。調べたら自分とタメで誕生日がカーチャンと一緒なので応援することにします。Kulusevskiはインサイドハーフ（インテリオールって言いがち）も出来るあたりにIQの高さを感じる。

Murillo (21) / Nottingham Forest 前線の足速い人たち（すみませんニワカで）も偉いんだけど、この人もだいぶ偉い（すみません語彙がなくて）。すぐビッグ6あたりに抜かれそうだけど、フォレストが古豪から復活していく中でレジェンドになる様も見てみたい。

I. Konaté (25) / Liverpool 前線のスターたちに負けず劣らず、今シーズンさらに迫力を増している気がする。マヤヨシダ氏が言及するVVDの（良くも悪しくも）ヤバいラインコントロールにも余裕で対応している印象。

C. Baleba (20) / Brighton & Hove Albion はい、出ました。100億で売れる子です。デカい、気が利く、左利き。いる・いないで中盤の強度がまるで違う。O'Rileyも気になるし、van Heckeも逞しくなってきたし、ほーんとに面白いチーム。

M. Kovačić (30) / Manchester City 全員が上手いチームの中でも意外に足りない中央での運び屋おじさん。得点の匂いもするようになって、まだ成長している感じすらある。マドリー時代のタフな印象もまだまだ健在で、気になって見てしまう。

T. Dibling (18) / Southampton さすがセインツ、イキの良い若手が出てくる。数字が伴っていなくてもすぐに引き抜かれそうな才能。ファイトできる気持ちの強さ、ブリテン感も良い。Lallanaからたくさん学ぶんだよ。

O. Hutchinson (20) / Ipswich Town ボールの持ち方、ファイナルサードでの落ち着き、足元の技術、スピードもあって伸び代ありまくりな印象。Tuanzebe、Greaves、Szmodics、Delapなど個性的なメンバーも多く、見ていて楽しい。

C. Palmer (22) / Chelsea もう前半戦MVPで良いんじゃないですか。言うことなし。

M. Rogers (21) / Aston Villa 大器感満載。フィジカル、とりわけ体幹が強いイメージ。縦に速いエメリのサッカーの中で違いを作れる選手がいるのは面白い。同じような理由で、個人的にはもっとBarkleyが見たいです。エメリ先生！

L. Trossard (29) / Arsenal 8月ヴィラ戦の途中出場即ゴール後ブチギレパフォーマンスが最高すぎた。いつでもどこでも結果を出せる。若手主体の中で安定感を出せる選手は貴重。Ødegaardの代わりができる選手がこの世に何人いるかという…。

El futbolista brasileño podrá eludir la prisión provisional a través del pago de un millón de euros y con una serie de condiciones. Recurre al padre de Neymar para pagar y salir hoy mismo   Sergio Murillo La sección 21 de la Audiencia de Barcelona ha resuelto, por mayoría y con voto particular, y tras la vista del pasado martes —donde la defensa solicitó la libertad del condenado— acordar eludible la prisión provisional de Dani Alves a través de una fianza de un millón de euros y la retirada de sus dos pasaportes (brasileño y español). De esta manera, y tras verificarse el pago, podría acordarse su libertad provisional. A estos efectos, el tribunal impone como condiciones la prohibición de salir del territorio nacional y, además, la obligación de comparecencia ante la Audiencia Provincial de manera semanal y todas aquellas veces que sea llamado y requerido por las mismas autoridades judiciales. También se impone al futbolista la prohibición de acercarse a la denunciante a una distancia menor de 1.000 metros de su domicilio, así como de su lugar de trabajo y de cualquier otro sitio que ella frecuente. Tampoco podrá comunicarse con ella a través de ningún tipo de medio hasta que recaiga sentencia firme. Desde el tribunal se aclara que “conviene recordar que la función de la prisión provincial no puede ser en ningún caso la de adelantar los efectos de una hipotética pena que pudiera serle impuesta al acusado” y que tampoco debe ser la de “impulsar la investigación del delito u obtener pruebas o declaraciones”, argumentando que, si estos son los fines, la privación de la libertad estaría excediendo los límites marcados por la propia Constitución. Bajo esta explicación, considerando el tribunal que cada escenario es merecedor de su propia valoración, se asienta la base de la libertad condicional del brasileño. Sobre el riesgo de fuga Uno de los motivos que ha sido parte fundamental del debate que lleva a este punto ha sido el riesgo de fuga; sobre él dice el tribunal que considera dos factores: uno objetivo, “constituido por la gravedad del delito imputado y de la consiguiente pena, que justifica la inicial adopción de la medida”, y otro subjetivo, “que ha de tener en cuenta el transcurso del tiempo como factor mitigador del criterio anterior”. El jugador, condenado a cuatro años y seis meses de prisión por la agresión sexual que cometió a una joven durante la madrugada del 31 de diciembre de 2022 en la discoteca Sutton de la ciudad condal, fue encarcelado inicialmente el 20 de enero de 2023. Ahora se encuentra a la espera de la sentencia definitiva, habiendo recurrido la condena tanto la defensa, como la fiscalía y la acusación particular, cada parte por un motivos diferentes. 2020 Anticipated Titles

My 2020 TBR is already looking diverse with sci-fi, nonfiction, a thriller and some fiction already on my library’s hold list. It was a daunting task to narrow down to just 5 books I’m most excited for. Here you’ll find thrillers, romance and a short story collection. They’re all by women of color, so if you’re looking to have a more diverse reading list, I hope this helps!

My book of the year author is dropping a Mexican thriller?! This jumped to the top of my want-to-read list as soon as I found out. Her debut weaved an epic Cinderella-esque tale that was my absolute favorite last year. I want to haphazardly announce this as my book of the year already. I read Cross-Smith's debut at the very end of 2018. If I hadn’t already crowned a book and posted it, Whiskey & Ribbons would have been it. She has the ability to describe the inner, raw emotions of us in such an impactful way. I’ll never forget her debut and I know that within one of the many stories in her newest work, there’ll be more captivating stories I’ll never forget,

Take a Hint, Dani Brown by Talia Hibbert

Danika Brown would rather write a thesis than a love letter. She’s successful in every area of her life except love, but friend-with-benefits is more her speed. Zafir Ansai is the perfect candidate, having rescued her in a now viral video. What I adore most about Hibbert’s characters in her first novel of the series is that they are so 3D. They have quirks and have real-life complications that aren’t common in many of the stories I read. I know this will be more than just a ‘break down the ice queen’s walls’ type of romance. The duo destined for love are gonna bring some sort of baggage

I was getting nervous there weren’t many thrillers in my want-to-read list for 2020 until I this sat in another user’s list. Gimme thriller. Gimme debut. Gimme black female author. In addition, I attended a small college surrounded by the Pennsylvania woods, so I’m well aware of just how isolating it can be out there. I tend to be become a devoted fan to the thriller authors I do read, so Elisabeth Thomas should make the list.  

Maybe some of these were on your radar, maybe not, but I hope they’ve possibly given you an idea of what you might consider in this new year. With the daunting task of 40 books to complete by the end of the year, I’m always open to suggestion. Share with me what you can’t wait to read this year and I wish you a productive and abundant reading year ahead!

Dani tried to pack as light as possible for her winter vacation with her mom. She wasn't going to give her any reason to pry into her personal life so she kept the clothes she brought with her as simple as possible. She considered taking her oversized Corroded Coffin shirt that she slept in or even the Hellfire shirt of Eddie's he let her borrow but she didn't want to give her any opening to try and "relate" with her.

"Does your little friend know you're going to be away for the whole week? Dad said he would let him know but I can always stop by his house and let you say happy holidays." Dani kept her eyes out the window.

"I said my goodbyes to everyone I needed to. I let them know if they haven't heard from me in a week, send the search party out." Dani showed no emotion towards her mother's questions. She was giving her the time she had threatened her dad with but that didn't mean she had to give her the attention.

"Have you thought anymore about college? I know you wanted to go somewhere warm. Maybe California? You would look so cute with blonde highlights." Dani rolled her eyes now making sure to address her mom directly.

"I can't live in a place like California with the air quality and humidity. Feels like something my mother would know since I have a lung disorder." Dani gave her a forced smile.

"Look kid, I know you think I left because your illness was too hard to deal with but your father and I were on the verge of divorce way before you got sick. I had to get away from him and his small town mindset. Hawkins might be home but that doesn't mean you need to use it as a safety blanket. There's a whole world out there baby." Her mom reached a hand out and she put her hands in her lap.

"Hawkins isn't home. We were supposed to be your home. You were supposed to love us enough to stick around. I don't plan to live in Hawkins my whole life but I plan to have my own place that includes the people I care about." Dani started to raise her voice making her mother clear her throat. When she parked the car, it wasn't at whatever hotel she was staying at but rather a cafe that had a really nice bookstore attached to the back of it.

"What are we doing here?" Dani asked looking around.

"I figured you wouldn't want to have much of a dialogue with me so I wanted you to be able to have a book or two to keep you company. Plus, I need coffee or else I too will be having a meltdown." Her mom leaned over and pulled the zipper up to her chin and Dani moved her hand. She got out of the car and made sure to go in the opposite direction of her mother to look for a possible book to keep her sane during the break. She had been reading Magician: Apprentice by Raymond Feist but she didn't even think to bring it with her. The majority of her reading list this year had been fantasy novels. She completely blamed the boys for it but she had been enjoying them.

There was always the option of grabbing another D&D book but they were so hard to find now that the "satanic panic" was afoot and the medias relentless push to demonize a stupid board game. It was honestly laughable. Dani found one in clearance covered by a thousand other books, a lot of bibles and how to be the best Christian books were ironically placed atop it. She made sure to shove it down into her bag before returning to the coffee shop to see her mom sitting with Ms. Kelley.

"Dani! It's so good to see you. I was just chatting with your mom about what a joy you've been." Ms. Kelley smiled but Dani didn't like this whole interaction. She did NOT need her mom snooping into her school life, especially with the nosy guidance counselor who didn't seem to want to leave her alone for five seconds.

"Hi Ms. Kelley. There's really no need to talk to her about-"

"So what are her college prospects looking like? She's always been so smart and capable. I think she could go anywhere but I'm just her mom." Dani felt sick to her stomach watching her mom put on this mom of the year front.

"She hasn't shown a ton of interest in one college in particular. We don't spend a ton of time talking about where she would like to see herself outside of this year. I'm just happy when she eats lunch in the building." Ms. Kelley joked.

"Surely she has the grades to get in someplace prestigious. She's got an amazing story of survival due to her illness. How could a college say no?" Dani felt the anger in her belly building.

"I'm not going to use my illness as a free pass to college." Dani crossed her arms over her chest and Ms. Kelley could see the dissension between them.

"Your struggles would make a very good college essay but it in no way guarantees you a spot, Dani. We can schedule something for after break and we can talk about what sort of college you were thinking of applying to." Ms. Kelley was trying to salvage the situation.

"She should have already been thinking about colleges. It's that damn boy she stays distracted with. He has no future outside of a jail cell so naturally she's not focused." Trish rolled her eyes.

"You don't even know Eddie. I don't know who told you-"

"Oh please sweetheart, spare me. The moment I found out he was a Munson, I knew who he was kin to. The only prospects a Munson has ever had was to get knocked up or incarcerated." Trish knew who the Munson's were. The moment she found out that the boy she was talking to was a Munson, she knew he would cause Dani trouble.

"Eddie is actually on par to graduate on time this year." Ms. Kelley tried but Trish just laughed.

"Oh yeah? How many years has he been a senior?" Ms. Kelley didn't respond but looked towards Dani.

"I don't think your friendship with Eddie will stop you from getting into college Dani but I do feel like your focus shouldn't just be on him. You should absolutely focus on a future beyond any silly high school crushes." Dani put her hands down on the table and looked between her mother and Ms. Kelley.

"I appreciate the guidance Ms. Kelley but frankly the only reason I come to your office is because it's mandatory. I, in no way want any advisement in regards to my friends, relationships or future from someone who doesn't know the first thing about who I actually am." Dani explained calmly with venom on her tongue.

"DANIELLE!" Trish raised her voice.

"And you, mother of mine. You don't matter when it comes to my future because you will never be apart of that future." She seethed.

"Happy holidays Ms. Kelley. I will be going back to the car now." Dani slung her bag back over her shoulder and marched back out to the car knowing her mother would give her an earful but she didn't care. She was so tired of tip toeing around people. If there was one thing Eddie Munson had taught her, it was to stand out and be proud of who you are. It was time she start abiding by that.

Setelah melalui pertarungan sengit, Real Madrid akhirnya berhasil menuai kemenangan dalam laga lanjutan La Liga melawan Celta Vigo hari Senin (13/9/2021). Los Merengues keluar sebagai pemenang dengan skor telak 5-2.

Setelah melakukan beberapa percobaan, Real Madrid sukses menyamakan kedudukan di menit ke-24. Karim Benzema menjadi pahlawan Madrid dengan golnya yang dicetak dengan bantuan Federico Valverde.

Skor imbang hanya bertahan selama kurang dari 10 menit. Tepatnya pada menit ke-31, gawang Madrid dibobol lagi oleh Celta Vigo. Kali ini gol berasal dari aksi Franco Cervi. Kedudukan pun berubah jadi 2-1 buat Celta.

Madrid berusaha membalas. Hanya saja, mereka tak mampu menyamakan kedudukan, apalagi membalikkan, sampai wasit menutup jalannya babak pertama. Celta sementara unggul 2-1.

Babak Kedua

Tidak butuh waktu lama bagi Madrid untuk mencetak gol penyama kedudukan. Wajah Los Merengues diselamatkan lagi oleh Benzema, yang kali ini memanfaatkan asis dari Miguel Guiterrez untuk mencetak gol. 2-2.

Dan akhirnya, Real Madrid berbalik unggul! Momen yang telah dinanti-nantikan oleh fans Los Merengues tersebut diproduksi oleh Vinicius Junior di menit ke-54. Benzema juga punya andil dalam sumbangsih asisnya.

Los Blancos were stunned by Fedor Smolov's first goal for Celta in the seventh minute and the home side failed to register a single shot on target in the opening half.

However, they turned the game on its head within 13 minutes, Toni Kroos scoring again against Celta before Sergio Ramos slotted home a penalty after the returning Eden Hazard had been fouled.

Mina's late leveller meant Zinedine Zidane's men only moved one point clear of Clasico rivals Barcelona, though their winning run came to an end.

All eyes were on the returning Hazard, who was making his first appearance since November due to an ankle injury, but more attention should have been paid to Real Madrid's defence at the start.

Iago Aspas fed Smolov, who, having found space between Raphael Varane and Dani Carvajal, collected the ball and calmly slotted beyond Thibaut Courtois.

Celta came close to a second prior to the break but Courtois flung out both hands to thwart Joseph Aidoo's header from Lucas Olaza's corner. 

There was an immediate improvement from Zinedine Zidane's men after the break.

First, Ramos volleyed home Gareth Bale's delivery only to see a potential equaliser chalked off by VAR.

Yet there was no issue with Kroos' 52nd-minute effort, the Germany international placing home after Marcelo had found him with a cutback.

Hazard then made an impact on his return as goalkeeper Ruben Blanco tripped the former Chelsea star after he had beaten him to the ball, with Madrid skipper Ramos making no mistake from the spot.

Yet Madrid could not hang onto their lead and substitute Denis Suarez threaded a pass through to his fellow replacement Mina, who fired home two minutes after coming on to make it 2-2.

Celta boss Oscar Garcia was dismissed in the latter stages for kicking another ball onto the pitch after Madrid had restarted, but he was all smiles at the final whistle as his struggling side took a point off the leaders.
