Just like the movies
I like you and you like me II: Just like the movies
part 1
anon ask: Can you do a part II for the LMD x Daisy, Fitz helps the reader with the date and explains how to properly act. Of course the LMD still manages to mess up social cues and emotions but Daisy helps them.
warning: LMD imagine
author’s note: talking about robots , you guys should listen to iRobot by Jon Bellion , I had that song stuck in my head all day!
Masterlist / Prompt List / Fandom List / Ask me anything!
“ I bought you a dress!!” Fitz exclaims happily, he was more excited than you. He was also going to help you with the whole ‘interaction’ problem, He said that you had to say certain things on a date, you were planning to study them.
“so now that you're dressed, we need to teach you how to act and talk properly on a date”
“I read that I need something called make-up to finish an outfit”
“no no! makeup is overrated, you’re beautiful the way you are, believe me-”
“I do believe you Fitz” you said, smiling at the young scientist, his smile was contagious.
“I made some cards so you can read them, and study them, but don’t worry I’ll be there right beside you the whole time, I also search for a few pick - up lines on the internet an-” He said giving you the cards and you started reading them, He keep talking about a few things that you could say but Jemma interrupt him mid-sentence.
“Fitz! here you are, I need your help in the lab-oh hello Y/N wow! that’s such a nice dress” Jemma said while looking at you. She wasn’t very happy with the idea of letting her best friend date a robot, but she couldn’t do anything, besides, Daisy likes you a lot so, she wasn’t going to destroy her happiness.
“I choose the dress! , I have a good taste” Fitz looking you with a proud smile
“that’s why you were looking desperately all those fashion magazines?” Jemma said trying to hide the smile that was forming on her lips
“you didn’t want to help me! I had to find her a good dress for her date with Daisy” Fitz said smiling at the thought of you and Daisy happily together
“does it look good? I know that a male opinion it’s not really valid on this kind of things” you said while looking at Jemma “No offense Fitz”
“not at all” Fitz said
“well, it’s a pretty dress that’s for sure, you did pick a good one Fitz, I’m impressed” Jemma said while giving a little smile to her boyfriend “but what about the whole interaction problem, I mean, she doesn’t even know how to act like a normal human”
“That’s why I did this cards, all she have to do is study them” Fitz said proudly handing the card to Jemma so she could look at them
“Omg! you also put lame pick-up lines ?” Jemma said while laughing
“they’re not lame!” Fitz said while taking the cards out of Jemma’s hand
“what do lame means?” you asked, confused by the new word
“she’s screwed” Jemma said “you’re screwed” she said now looking at you sympathetic look
“yeah.. you just have to read them” Fitz said “ read them and I will try to play as Daisy” Jemma laugh at this “Fitz, daisy is a woman, you’re a boy, it’s better if I help her, I also know how to flirt better than you~”
“that’s not true!” He said “whatever just help her”
“okay now Y/N, sit down on that chair, we’re going to simulate a date okay?” Jemma asked
“okay Jemma” you said feeling a weird feeling in your stomach, your leg couldn't stop moving up and down, and your hands were sweating. “I think I’m malfunctioning again”
“you’re probably just nervous Y/N, you need to prepare for it, cause when you be there at the date those feeling are going to increase a lot” Jemma said while looking at you smiling a little
“It feels like when you guys get sick” You said trying to ease the weird feeling on your stomach
“it’s kinda like that, you really liked her don’t you?” Jemma ask. She really wanted to know if this wasn’t some joke. After all the Aida problem, she couldn’t bare the thought of another LMD destroying their lives or even worst, Daisy’s life
“I do... Fitz told me that it’s very similar to what he feels or you.” You said looking at your friend
“she really likes her Jemma, It’s hard for her to put it on words, that’s it” Fitz said while looking at her girlfriend
“okay, I trust you, so now, about the dialogue problem when she sa-”
“OH MY GOD! IT’S 7 ALREADY!” Fitz exclaim while taking your hand and dragging you outside the room
“But she doesn’t know how to talk, the whole thing it’s going to be weird!” Jemma said while following you two through the halls of the base, a few agents were looking at you with weird expressions and all you can do was following your friend through the halls.
“STOP LOOKING AT HER LIKE THAT SHE ALREADY HAS SOMEONE!” Fitz screams at them, you got to the main room “there’s no other choice, I have to go with you undercover!” Fitz said while putting you a coat
“Fitz you can’t go! , it’s her date, not yours! plus Daisy would take her there”
“I’ve been planning this since Y/N came out of that door and almost faint when she looked at Daisy, so if you excuse me love, but I have to make this OTP canon” Fitz said while dragging to the common room
“OTP?” you ask
“I’ll go with you then, we just had to hide a few tables away, and-” she grab a few headphones “-with this!, we could tell her what to say!” Jemma said while searching for Daisy, she was supposed to take you. A minute later Daisy came out of an office with a few papers on her hand
“oh hello guys-holy shit!” Daisy said while looking at you “ I-I was going to look for you b-but Phil told me to do some papers a-and I-You’re gorgeous” she said, blushing a little
“I picked the dress” Fitz said, earning a smack from Jemma
“You’re ready to go? I just need to grab my jacket and give this paper to Phil” Daisy asks you while grabbing your hand, your cheeks felt warmer than usual, and all those weird feeling that you felt before increase a 100 more, just like Jemma said.
“ye-yeah I’m ready” You said
“okay, wait here I’ll grab my jacket”While Daisy disappear in another room, Jemma put the headphone on you
“we’re going to tell you what to say okay? just follow our instructions” Jemma said, you nod and look at Fitz
“so I don’t have to use lame pick-up lines?” You asked
“They’re not lame!”
“what’s lame?” Daisy ask now with a leather jacket on her hands
“I ask the same!” You told Daisy
“ well, I can tell you what it means on our way to the restaurant” Daisy said laughing “follow me ” She said while grabbing your hand and leading you away from Fitz-Simmons. the two scientists giving you a little smile.
Daisy and you were now at the restaurant, Daisy was explaining something that you saw on TV, and so far, the ‘date’ was going just fine. You also use a few pick-up lines and other things that Fitz said you should use.
“so... did Fitz make you study or something?” Daisy ask with that little smirk that made you feel your legs weak
“indeed he did, he was trying to help me, I know that I’m not very good at talking with people, I still have a lot to learn, I should update my language systems”
“but I like you like that, it’s cute, you’re cute” Daisy said, that for some reason made your cheeks feel like they were on fire. “I bet sure that you don’t even know why you’re blushing right now” She smile grinning at you
“I’ll have to decline that offer, Fitz said the bets are bad things” Daisy started to laugh at this and somehow, you find yourself laughing too.
“see? you’re cute” you saw a couple sit behind Daisy, that looked like Fitz and Simmon
“what are you looking at?” Daisy asks while looking at the couple too “is that Jemma?”
“oh no no, that’s not Jemma, that’s Jessica and Ronald” You said, hearing Jemma speaking to you through the headphone, and since she told you to say everything she said, you follow her orders
“what? haha Y/N that’s Fitz and Simmons” Daisy said looking at you squinting her eyes a little
“no no, that’s Jessica right there, she’s a normal teenager with her very normal boyfriend that is obviously not Fitz, smile Y/N” You said smiling at the end hearing Jemma face palm.
“ohh~ I see, so you know this Jessica person and her very normal boyfriend that is not Fitz?” Daisy said trying to look serious but failing at the last sentence. The whole thing was hilarious, she knew that Fitz was going to help you, but this? this was unbelievable
“no they’re not real-Yes! yes I know them I do” You said, now very confused about the whole situation
“okay, come here-” Daisy get up from her chair and took the seat that was next to you, she grab your face with hands and got close to you. you could already hear Fitz squealing at this and Jemma whispering a few ‘calm down!’. Daisy moved your head softly to a side, grabbing the headphone
“that’s better” she said looking at you, she was so close to you, somehow it makes you feel a little dizzy. She got up again and walk to the couple that was obviously not Fitz-Simmons. The couple tried poorly to hide but it was too late, Daisy already knew that it was them “you two can leave my date alone she was doing just fine before you two came in” Daisy said scolding them.
“I don’t know what are you talking about young lady” Fitz said
“weren’t you a teenager? why the sudden grandpa voice?” Daisy said laughing “just leave us alone guys” she said walking looking at you “Y/N we’re going out, did yo ever had ice-cream?”
“is it a food?” You said tilting your head to a side
“yep, it’s a dessert-” she grab your hand once again, leading you outside the restaurant “We’re going to get one, it’s really tasty, I know this place where it got thousand of flavours and colors, you're going to love ice-cream”
“as much as the pizza?” You ask, grinning at this, Daisy holding your hand talking so happily with you made you feel such a bliss. “as much as pizza Y/N”
The rest of the night went perfect, you made her laugh a lot, and she made you laugh a lot. You two were having such a great time, but it was getting late, so Daisy took you back to the base. Your room was next to hers so all she got to do now was say goodbye. But Daisy didn’t want to say goodbye.
“I had fun tonight Y/N, we should definitely do this again, without Fitz-Simmons following us” She said laughing at the last sentence. She lean to you, pressing her lips to your cheek, your skin melts at her touch “I-I just kiss you” She said. Daisy wanted to actually kiss your lips but she wasn’t sure if you even know the meaning behind it.
“like in the movies?” you asked, Fitz also make you see a movie before coming to the date, he said that was educating.
“yeah like in the movies, it’s...romantic” Daisy said looking at your lips.
“but they didn’t kiss like that, they do this” and with those words, you kiss her, your lips were pressing her lips, such an innocent contact, such a simple move that made your whole body feel like Jelly. Daisy was shocked at this, butt she kissed you back, putting her hand on your hips while you put your hand on her neck. She didn’t expect this from you. You break the kiss looking at her.
“wow” Daisy said “that was..wow” she was looking at you with a weird gaze
“just like the movies?” you said holding her hands
“better than the movies” Daisy said smiling at you, leaning to kissing you again. You learned a lot about kisses that night.
Hope you like it anon <3

The Little Things (Platonic)
Requested Imagine: “Could you please do an agents of shield x reader in season 4 when the reader got taken by Aida early in the season and was replaced with an Lmd so when daisy and jemma are escaping the base and coulson is chasing them the reader is with may and sacrifices herself with her. So when daisy and jemma find her in the framework it’s just sad and a happy reunion?”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anniversaries where weird, they came around every year and yet you were expected to do something different for them; maybe a party or going out for the night or whatever.
There were different kinds too; Birthdays, holiday seasons, time since abandonment/ death.
Wait, what?
Daisy had been celebrating the last and final time she had been abandoned and sent back to sent back to the orphanage. At least that one made her runaway and meet you guys.
Speaking of you guys, she was currently looking at a photo of you and your father that you had in your room. She knew that the death of him still weighed on you heavily. She had wanted to find you and try and provide some comfort but had instead found an empty room with that photo.
“Hey,” Daisy said in greeting to her scientist best friend. Jemma looked at her with a smile in greeting, “Have you noticed anything different about Y/N?” Jemma furrowed her eyebrows in thought at the question.
“I’m….not too sure. I haven’t seen her much. Maybe she’s busy.” Jemma suggested, but Daisy could tell her friend was now trying to piece it together.
“I mean, sure. But, with what? We’re all trying to stop the Watchdogs here. To my knowledge, there’s not much else going on really.
“There she is.” Daisy said, moving over to you when you entered the lab in a more dejected fashion, “Hey, Y/nn.” She said, giving you a friendly smile.
Yours was timid, but it was expected, “Hey.” You said in your naturally soft voice.
Daisy fought the urge to look back to Simmons, despite knowing her friend’s eyes were on you both like a hawk, “So, I’ve been meaning to ask you something….Are you ok?” She was blunt, both because she didn’t have another way to phrase it, and she just genuinely wanted to know what was hurting another of her best friends.
She knew Jemma was the same when someone she cared about was hurting, so she knew the British woman would back her up if needed.
You went to answer, but your eyes glossed over a little. She turned to see who it was, only to see Coulson talking to Simmons.
When Daisy looked back to you, she saw you gulp back those tears that had piled up. It was then that it hit her on what the issue was.
She softened her eyes and posture as it hit her, “Oh, Y/nn.” She said in a softened voice, as if not to scare a wounded animal.
“I’m sorry.” You said, as if at fault. But you had a slight laugh at the end of it, even if a teary one.
“No, you have nothing to be sorry for! We should’ve noticed –”
“It’s ok.” You assured her, but you could tell she didn’t fully believe it, “Daisy, I’m fine, really. It’s just a thing I’m going through. I’m not just this, you know.” You told her. You then left, not wanting to be reminded of your dad any longer.
She watched you leave, but her gaze was worried. She was older, so it was her job to look out for you. She knew how you could be at times.
It had been a few days since that time, and the sister figures had done a decent job of dealing with this latest issue while also helping you deal with your own. Or, rather, they thought they had been.
They both watched as you walked with more of a confident one. Don’t get them wrong, they were kind of glad to see it. But they couldn’t help the nagging feeling they both seemed to share when they met each other’s gazes with a look.
The look that conveyed that both thought something was wrong. They just weren’t sure on what that was.
“She seems….happy.” Daisy didn’t really have another way to put it. Part of her did feel a little envois of it.
Fitz, seemingly realising this, approached her and put a hand on her shoulder, “Maybe she’s found some peace with it. Grieving is different for everyone.” He reminded her, gently. Trying not to cross a line that had been drawn in the sand the second Lincoln had died.
She put a hand on Fitz’s, squeezing it. She did appreciate her brother’s attempt at comfort, really, “I know….it’s just, I didn’t expect it this quick.” She admitted.
Jemma couldn’t help the nod, “Y/N always feels before she acts. She never did leave things on the best of footings.” She didn’t exactly want to talk about this behind your back. But, the three seemed to agree one thing, anyway.
This flip of yours wasn’t normal.
It was later still, and everything was falling apart. Jemma and Daisy’s hunch was right, you were an LMD (a Life Model Decoy. A robot version of yourself essentially) and so where most of the team. Everything was spiralling. But none so more than Jemma Simmons.
The woman had just ‘killed’ the love of her life in a bid of survival. Daisy had watched it happen, the two sisters at each other’s throats for a moment. However, they soon realised that they were all that was left of the crew and were the only ones capable of bringing everyone else back.
“Hey, Jem, we will get Y/N back, alright? I promise you.” She said, firmly standing by that belief.
“I can’t lose you, either of you, Daisy! Please don’t do this!” Jemma begged one of her sister figures, the one she could save right now to not risk it all and die.
“I made you a promise Jemma, ok? Now, I can’t get out of here without your help. But, once we do, we will find the others. We will find Y/N and we will bring her home.”
She held out a hand for Jemma, one that was then clasped as the two rose up off of the floor, “We got this.” She assured her.
She was sure of it; she was going to bring you all home.
==================================================================================
Jemma and Daisy had met you at the same time, on the BUS when the team was first formed. You had been with SHIELD for a while, but you always seemed to be a background extra type of agent, you just kept your head down and did the work.
This would be your first time as a main and in the spotlight.
Skye was new, thrown into the deep end and told to swim. So far, she had managed to, barely. But, barely being above water was always more preferable than being under it and drowning.
When she saw you, though, she saw someone else who was slightly over in their head and out of their element. Hell, even the people she’d come to see as the siblings she never had (Fitzsimmons, but that list included you) seemed it as well.
Still, you succeeded in your mission, bringing Mike Peterson in non-lethally. However, it was what happened after that made Daisy want to befriend you both.
It wasn’t just that you both shared the same sense of humour, or that Jemma was one of the kindest souls she knew.
No, it was the way you all took care of each other. It was the way Jemma seemed to notice that you were a bit shaken. So, in her own awkward way that she had back then, she took you into the lab and helped calm you by injecting you with something to calm you with.
She then sat with you and got to know you, letting you rant and get it all out of your system. However, what made Daisy smile the most was the way she didn’t mind; she was more than wiling to lend an ear.
Who was there to talk to Skye when she relapsed a little with some of her old coping mechanisms? Jemma.
Who was there to pick her up when she fell or failed at a thing Ward wanted her to do? You were.
Who was there when you had a panic attack or had a depressive episode? They were.
Your sister hood was born through all of those factors.
They had released the sleeping gas, and it had worked on some of the agents. Other than that, it had alerted everyone else to their presence.
LMD Mace (the new face of SHIELD) made a b-line for Daisy. She didn’t mind, she was more then ready to kick fake-Mace’s ass anyway. It would help her vent her frustration over this whole mess anyway.
Plus, she knew it was something you’d do, it was a trick you’d picked up from the academy; to channel your pain and anger into your opponents, but not letting it rule and ruin you.
Still, pain was pain and pain hurt. It especially hurt more when the emotional turned physical. For her, it was when she was shot in the back by LMD Coulson, then by LMD Mack. Two of her closest friends coming to bring an end to her.
No, she had the real versions to save. She had a family to bring back home.
So, she channelled all that pain and hurt; the abandonment and scars she had endured and gathered over her time before she met you all, and put it into her Quake that sent the both flying backwards and threw the glass, shattering that that wasn’t already in that state.
Slowly, she got to her feet. She was bleeding from the bullet wounds, but also the scratches and bruises were finally catching up with her. She made her way to the door, having to lean against the doorway to steady herself.
As she did, Jemma noticed her and helped guide her to the cart they were pushing. They then hatched a vague plan of Agent Davis flying them out. He hadn’t had much experience, but she didn’t care at this point.
Daisy hit the floor, groaning as she did so. A hand was offered to her, she took it graciously. Once she was up, she faced you once again, “Neat trick, where’d you learn that one?” She asked. The trick in question was a bit of foul play in terms of getting your opponent on the ground. Something SHIELD definitely would frown upon.
“Dad.” You said, wanting to leave it at that.
Daisy, with her experience of parents, nodded and let it go, “He would always take me out to a place like this and train me. Told me it’d help calm me when I was anything but. He only did it when he saw that I was getting stressed, though.”
“No other time other than that?”
“No other time. I got myself through those one’s though.” You said with a cheery smile. Daisy mirrored it, but it wasn’t as bright.
‘You shouldn’t have had to, though’ she thought to herself.
One obstacle she didn’t bank on (or want to) deal with, was LMD you. However, it seemed you were a packaged deal in his one; with LMD you came LMD May.
And, with that deal, came a remote detonator in your hands.
“Y/N….May.” She said, brain working overtime to try and find a way out of this that didn’t involve getting blown up, “You don’t wanna do this.” She said, opting on that one.
“We have no other option.” LMD you said, “Coulson told us to stay here and stop you if you tried to leave, we’re doing just that.”
“But you don’t want to hurt us, right?” Jemma asked, trembling smile on her face as she looked between you both.
“Coulson says that doesn’t matter.” LMD May replied with.
“That doesn’t sound like Coulson.” Daisy argued.
“Either way, we won’t have to regret this decision.” May said, putting her finger closer to it.
“Wait!” Daisy called out, “You have to feel something.” She tried.
“Y/N, I need you to look at me,” You complied, “You have to feel something right now, right?” She was tired, oh so tired. But she was so close.
She saw something glimmer in your eye, “Something.” You agreed.
“That’s love, Y/N. That’s love for us and the team, you’re family. I know you care about us, and that you don’t want to hurt us. Please Y/N….” She watched you as the conflict in you grew and grew.
They made their way up the ramp, Daisy almost collapsing as Jemma held her, shouldering her weight. She was bleeding badly, borderline passing out.
However, she had bought them the time they needed to start up the Quinjet and have it rise out just as the explosions rocked the base, “Thank you Y/N….I’m coming.” She said in a tired voice as she gulped, finally processing the fact that her plan had worked.
She found you sat in an unused Quinjet (something she’d then do herself much later on in time) and just sitting there. You were spaced out, as something had clearly hurt you.
Jemma was sat next to you, hand holding your own as you seemed to hold it like a lifeline, your head rested on her shoulder. Her head rested atop your own.
She made her way over, sitting on your other side and grabbing your other hand. She didn’t ask the cliché question; she just held your hand.
“My dad……he -- he….” You couldn’t get through it without choking on the words. However, it was all Jemma and Daisy needed to know as they both tightened their hold on your hands.
“We’ve got you.” Daisy promised you, “You have us.”
“….I know, thank you both. You guys being the closest things I’ve had to sisters and you’re all the closest thing I’ve had to a stable family.” You said, giving them all a teary smile. They mirrored it.
“Of course, that’s what friends are for.” Jemma pulled you both into a hug at the words.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The framework was a world that they, obviously, didn’t know. They were outsiders here, having to adapt to a new world that they barely knew the rules of.
What they did know, was that HYDRA were in control and all of their friends were scattered all over the place.
So, they were off to a great start, it seemed.
Daisy had found May, but quickly learnt that the woman didn’t know anything about the other world. She was then called into a meeting. Following May, she found someone else she was looking for. That being you.
You were quieter in this world. You didn’t seem to really have any friends, you seemed to just keep to yourself.
She sat down in the chair and listened to the briefing, but you ignored her gaze as it flickered to you every now and then.
As she did what she could to really pay attention to the briefing on the target, she couldn’t help but wonder one thing: where you always like this? Was this a side to you she either didn’t know about or didn’t want to acknowledge?
You had, obviously, been in the field for longer than Daisy had. Still, she saw the way you handled yourself on the field like any other agent. They were still pieces of the person she saw, though, the friend she had made and the sister she had grown to know and love. It was in the blush you’d get at praise, or the way you would always give her an encouraging look whenever she was send off on a mission.
She had been found out trying to help Mack, only to find that he was forced into going with what she said. It had led to her being the cell.
AIDA had walked in, trying to offer a life with Lincoln. As much as she wanted it, she knew it wouldn’t be worth letting the rest of you all die. Lincoln wouldn’t want that.
So, AIDA tried something else, “You know….that Y/N sure is a tricky person to work out,” She smirked at the way Daisy fixed her with a dark look, “So many layers to unpack. Seemed her father was just the tip of the iceberg.” She seemed to enjoy the taunting.
“Leave her out of this.” Daisy tried to muster up as much hate as she could, but the beatings had taken it out of her.
AIDA, however, seemed a bit impressed, “Still got it, don’t you? That fire and spark, yet a caring and protective side as well?”
“If you touch even one hair on her head –”
“Oh, don’t worry, I won’t hurt her. She’s living without her regret of opening up,” Daisy looked shocked at the news, “That’s right, she wished she was a little less open. Now, I wouldn’t have gone with that with everything she’s been through. But people can be surprising.” AIDA then got up, “Hope he doesn’t kill you.” With that, she walked away.
She was left in the hands of Fitz, hands that used to be caring but now were used for hurting. The darkness that Fitz had always struggled with had come to the surface, and this one seemed to relish in it.
She was alone, clinging onto what life was left within her. She was, at least, until the doors opened. Looking up, she saw not only May, but you as well.
A moment later, she had her powers back and the three of you were breaking out. She sent AIDA through the glass and looked at the body on the floor with a sense of triumph.
You were here, and you were on her side. Don’t get her wrong, she was happy May was too. But May wasn’t the name used to make her give into AIDA’s demands.
Turns out the robot was wrong, which Daisy was thankful for.
The way back was met with danger, but what was new? Well, mainly your cynicism.
They were talking about the Patriot (Mace’s alter ego in this world) having been killed in an airstrike. As you spoke about it, May revealed some key information on it. That being that it was her who had caused the death.
“You couldn’t have known.” Daisy comforted, looking at you as if expecting the same.
“She did, but she did it anyway.” She definitely didn’t expect that. May, however, nodded at it.
Seemed the cold and warmth you both had was swapped to a degree.
“What?” You asked her, finally confronting her on her staring and look she was giving you.
“Nothing.” She said, looking away.
You made it to the TV station, going in and uploading the footage May had that would put HYDRA in the ground.
When Daisy left the room after her talk with Ward, she saw you looking at the footage with an expression of anger. She approached you, “What’s wrong?” She asked as she came beside you.
“My dad was killed by HYDRA, turns out,” You said bluntly. Daisy was lightly taken aback by it, you had never been like that before in this type of fashion, “And only now am I just hearing about it.”
“I’m sorry.” She offered in a heartfelt gesture to try and find the sisterly bond you had back home.
You shook your head, “Yeah, well, I’m more pissed at just finding out now than the event itself. We were never the closest, so….” You said in a flat tone.
“Family is family.”
“Sure.” She could tell you just wanted to move on. So, she let that request be followed through with.
You had made it back to the base, where Daisy reunited with Jemma. She had a large smile when she saw that it was you, pulling you in for a hug. You may not have known who she was, but you returned it, for her sake. She seemed like she could need it if she was honest.
She pulled away, seemingly giving you a once over with a beaming smile at the fact you were there. As said, you didn’t know who she was, but this meant something to her, so you just let her have this moment.
Daisy and the team where waiting for you at the entrance to the base, you were coming home from a few months of undercover work and they all stood eagerly awaiting you.
The door had opened, but they had gotten their hopes up before only to be disappointed before. Still, they looked, and this time it was you.
You had a conflicted look on your face, but a smile was on your face as your eyes went glassy. Daisy was right over, embracing you, one you returned tightly.
“This is new.” She joked, in reference to how tightly you hugged.
“Just….I need this.” She complied with it, tightening her own hug as well.
Her family was whole once again, that was all that mattered.
She was then arguing with Jemma about how they unfortunately couldn’t save Fitz, when she said something that she wasn’t meant to, “We need to get everyone out first! Then we can save Fitz! Look, this Y/N isn’t the one we know, Jemma. I need my sister back the way she was.” She didn’t even think about it, she just wanted to get you all back home and get her family back.
However, at a scoff, they both looked and saw you stood a small distance away, clearly having heard those words as you shook your head.
“So, what, I’m the broken one?” You didn’t even give her a chance as you then walked away. Jemma took a shaky breath as she looked to Daisy, the two sister’s having a silent discussion about who should see you.
In the end, it was Jemma who had left.
Daisy sat on one of the spare beds, mind racing with thoughts of how to proceed. She knew that you guys needed to know eventually that this place wasn’t real, but she didn’t expect you to find out like that. Hell, she definitely didn’t expect the reaction she got from you, the scoff, and the look of anger.
A moment later, however, you came and sat next to her. She almost didn’t believe it, that you were here. But she only waited for you to talk. Now, she expected anything.
“So….was I like a square peg in ‘the real word’?” You asked, keeping your eyes straight ahead, but you decided to just be blunt in this moment.
Daisy chuckled a bit, lowering her head to the ground as she did so, “Yeah, or I thought you were anyway. Stupid, huh?” She chastised herself.
“Nah,” Now you both met eyes, “You….I only showed you part of who I was. But, there’s more to me than my dad’s death. I appreciate the help that you apparently gave me there, I do really appreciate it. But, that’s not the only thing I’ve got going on. Just like I’m sure that you’ve suffered a lot more than you’ll ever let on, which I respect not wanting to go into. But, there’s to us then one thing.”
She nodded, “I know, and I’m sorry that I did that. I just wanted to help.”
“I know you did, but I’m not always going to be that sad person you need to protect. I can do that myself, just like you can too.” You told her.
“Ok.” She said, finally letting herself believe it that she didn’t know everything about you.
She then moved it onto the issue at hand, “So….now you know….What do you think?” She asked.
You gave it some thought, “Oh, you know, it’s out there. Then again, most things here have been.” You gave her one of your soft smiles that she was used to.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, you had come around to it, and you were now all packing up to leave through a backdoor that Doctor Radcliff (one of the creators of this place) had left for you all to get out.
Now, you just had to get to that place. So, you all got the crew together, boarded the Quinjet, then went to that place.
That place was a factory, but you weren’t one to judge. Or, rather, this version of you wasn’t? Maybe? You didn’t know, no one had really told you. All you knew was that Jemma had approached this version of you the way you were here, which was nice.
On the way, Daisy had started to do that, you saw it was a pain and struggle, but she was trying. That was all you could thank her for.
You all entered the warehouse, with the gateway being a drop into lava. Not the best exit, but a way out was a way out.
Mack had then found out, and he wasn’t exactly taking it well. Like, not well at all. You, however, kept an eye out, it was going too well.
And it was, as HYDRA agents stormed the place and fired at you all. You all went for cover as you did what you could to keep them off Daisy as she held out her hand, her power opening the portal.
As you all did what you could, members slowly went through; May and Coulson were first, then a bleeding Fitz and Jemma, then it was all of you that were left.
As you made your way to it, a bullet struck you, taking you to the ground. Daisy wanted to stop and run over, but she then saw the look in your eyes that told her one thing; keep going.
You were bleeding, and you weren’t doing great on the moving department at first, but you then started to. Mack was still covering you, even grabbing your gun as a backup.
As you moved and Mack covered, she took a breath before putting her hand back out as the power left her hands again a hit the portal.
As it opened, she checked on you again. She knew some part of you would want help, but right now that part wasn’t the one that was there. This was the one that cared more about others, the one that let them be helped instead of you.
You finally made it to the portal, you gave her a look, “See you on the other side.” She smiled at you. Then, you fell into it.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You were all out, and AIDA was defeated. You all sat at a bar, with your family. Daisy looked at your food, different from what you’d normally get.
“Look at you, being all reckless.” She joked.
“Maybe for today, sure.”
She smiled and shook her head. She didn’t know what else you had to show her that was new, but she was willing to see. She knew people couldn’t just be codified and put in a box. People were different, they grew and changed.

Ship-centric
i'm just curious (is it serious?) by @huntxngbxrd (ship: maybobbi) This intense oneshot gives a glimpse into an AU where May and Bobbi have a far more complicated relationship before the events of canon, one where May needs to make up her mind (or at least get it in line with her heart).
Syntax by @sunalsolove (ship: fitzsimmons) It's lust at first sight for Jemma and Fitz, and by the end, it turns into love. An exciting story, with a plot that just zings along, taking the reader on a wild ride! Must read!
more than words by @whistlingwindtree (ship: quakerider) Love and how we show it varies greatly. Learning how to share yourself and how both you and another person express love is never easy. In this beautiful fic the author shows the intricate way two people, in this case Robbie and Daisy, can show they care about each other. From physical love, to words, to making someone comfort food. It’s all explored here and the sweetness will leave you smiling.
Navigating the ropes of surprises by @florchis (ship: fitzskimmons) If you're looking for a twist on a meet cute, look no further! A wonderful Fitzskimmons fic where things don't go quite to (Fitz's) plans. This is an enjoyable, fresh look at the start of a relationship.
I can't be anyone else by @loved-the-stars-too-fondly (ship: maydaisy) This story leads us onto a great twist on what the LMD arc could have been, featuring smart decisions, self-aware characters and (spoiler alert!) love confessions! What else can you ask for?
compromise by @theclaravoyant (ship: skitz) This fic may be NSFW, but Fitz and Daisy show that it is definitely SFTK (Safe For The Kitchen). This steaming hot narrative proofs that if one person wants one thing and another something else, both can be satisfied in the end if they’re just willing to compromise and trust each other.

Platonic-centric / Both / Other
Somebody stepped inside your soul by @the-nerdy-stjarna (brotp: fitz&daisy) This S6 spec fic opens with the pain, heartache and awkwardness one might expect after what happened between Fitz and Daisy in Season 5, but it also brings us a moment of deep and abiding friendship, forgiveness, and healing that celebrates the best of their relationship. Chicken soup for the Fitz & Daisy lover's soul.

I like you and you like me
anon ask: How about the reader, a abandoned LMD is struggling with the whole 'emotion' thing and doesn't understand simple customs. Shield wants to destroy her but Daisy protests because the reader is the victim in all of this, the LMD reader gets a job within shield gaining some trust. eventually this leads to a crush from the reader on Daisy and they don't know what it is or how to fix it. Imagine Curie from Fallout 4 for context.
warning: LMD!Reader
I had a hard time writting this I’M NOT A ROBOT OKAY?. but I liked how it turned out :D
part 2
Masterlist / Prompt List / Fandom List / Ask me anything!
Being one of the first LMD that the human race created was not very simple. Dr. Radcliff created you with the purpose of help the human race. You were specialized on creating cures for the humans, one of your biggest goals, find the cure for cancer. Dr. Radcliff also want it you to feel, like a human does, and when he actually succeed in this task he was taken back by how much you feel, the feelings were too much for you. Overwhelming by all these feelings Dr. Radcliff decided to shut you down, till Aida find you. She was amazed by your feelings, she was going to destroy you but Shield stopped her, a certain Agent saved you, a girl named Daisy. Even though Shield wanted to destroy too, Daisy convinced them not to. Radcliff told her about, a special LMD that could save the human race. Daisy had faith on you, plus she thought that you were just a victim and all this.
Shield let you stay alive’ and put you in the lab where you could work and try to accomplish your mission. Daisy was assigned to watch over you, and help you with all these feelings, and although you appreciated this, you couldn’t concentre when she was near you. the big responsibility that you have, the weight of the world on your shoulder didn’t seem to bother you as much as Daisy did every time she walks away from you. It’s like you needed her. Maybe it was just some bad programming, maybe you assimilate her as your new Boss, like with Dr. Radcliff. But the difference between Radcliff and Daisy is that she make you ...feel, she makes you feel so many things.
These feelings were new to you, and they scared you, the only feeling that was always present was fear, but when she was with you, you wanted to embrace those feelings. Even your body felt weird.
This weird behavior was making you lose your head, you didn’t know what to do, maybe you were malfunctioning, maybe you need to see Dr. Fitz, he could fix you. But what if you were just broken, and couldn’t be fixed? what if they have to shut you down just like Radcliff did? why you were thinking so much about this things and not about the vaccine?
What Y/N didn’t know is that Daisy was also crushing on her, but the reckless Inhuman couldn't seem to take a step to you, cause she knew about your mission, she didn’t want to distract you, she didn’t want to overwhelm you. And you were an LMD.
“Dr. Fitz!”
“oh hey Y/N, how you’re doing?” Fitz said, sending a smile to the LMD. He knew that Y/N wasn’t like Aida. He saw how much Y/N suffer every time she couldn't find progress on her investigation. He knew that all you want to do was help them. You were a human for him. You were his friend
“I’m afraid I’m not, something seems to be wrong with me, but with my lack of knowledge on feeling, I thought that you could help me, Fitz”
“hm okay, tell me what’s wrong with you” He said giving you his full attention
“that’s the problem, I don’t know what’s wrong with me Fitz”
“it has to do with your feeling right? are you feeling sad about your projects? I’ve already told you, it may happen sometimes, it’s normal to feel frustrated Y/N, I and Simmons feel like that all the time”
“no no it’s not about that, I-I feel like, Ugh! I don’t know, I’m troubled, It's like I’m barely holding myself together, I think that there’s something wrong about my programming ”
“You feel overwhelmed again? ” Fitz said, beginning to worry about her friend. He knew that Y/N has been having more trouble with her emotions.
“yes, I’m. Before all this Feeling upgrade, everything was easier, I could do my job without having any distraction-”
“something is distracting you?”
Daisy pop out of nowhere in Y/N’s head, making her feel a weird feeling in her stomach and making her cheeks feel warmer.
“oh...my...god” Fitz exclaim. “you have never blush before..it’s not something... is ..someone?”
Y/N’s cheeks were getting warmer and warmer
“oh, my god! but that’s impossible you’re an LMD and an-and yeah you feel but you couldn’t you couldn't reach that kind of feel! omg JEMMAA!” Fitz was rambling and rambling about Y/N’s situation while calling for Jemma. And when he finally found her, he grabs her arm and yours leading you to an empty room.
“SHE HAS A CRUSH ON SOMEONE JEMMA! SHE BLUSHED!”
“SHE WHAT?! B-but that’s impossible!”
“I don’t want to interrupt but-” you tried to ask about this “crush” thing
“I know! but she told me that she was troubled an-”
“Dr. Fitz! what it is a crush? it’s some kind of malfunction? do you have to shut me down?” Y/N ask worriedly about her wellbeing
“no no no, it’s just...you shouldn’t suppose to feel this , you only have basic feelings, who make you feel like this?” Jemma ask while Fitz look at Y/N waiting for her answer a little too excited which confused you
“Daisy...” Y/N said feeling her cheeks warm again, looking at the floor shyly
“I BLOODY KNEW IT!” Fitz shout, scaring the shocked Jemma, and the embarrassed Y/N
While Fitz show all his enthusiasm and Jemma was trying to calm him down, Daisy was looking for you. You supposed to be in the lab, with that white coat and using those glasses that Daisy loves so much on you. but you weren't, Daisy search all over the base for you, and just when she was giving up, Fitz’s screams call her attention
“I BLOODY KNEW IT OMG JEMMA I ALREADY SHIP IT SO HARD”
“What the hell?” Daisy thought
“YOU SHOULDN’T! THIS IS A PROBLEM FITZ”
Daisy follows those the voices and finds you and Fitz-Simmons arguing something.
“SHE DESERVES TO BE HAPPY” Fitz was trying to protect you cause seems like Jemma wanted to take away your feelings, she didn’t want to have problems with a robot again, you can go all crazy according to her theory.
“SHE IS A FREAKING ROBOT SHE SHOULDN'T SUPOSSED TO FEEL IN THE FIRST PLACE!”
You were standing there, feeling a strange pain on your chest and a weird feeling on your throat, you felt something wet on your cheek, your eyes were working badly
“guys, I think they're something bad with me” you said, feeling overwhelmed by the sudden feeling.
Daisy was watching everything, not knowing exactly what to do, but when she hear you said those words she rushes to you.
“BUT SHE DOES, SHE FEELS LIKE A HUMAN DOES, WE ARE NOT TAKING AWAY HER FEELING JUST BECAUSE SHE HAS A CRUSH ON DAISY!”
“what!?” Daisy said blushing
Fitz was now covering her mouth, ashamed that he let out that information in front of your crush.
“what it’s a crush? why my eyes are wet? I think they’re broken, are you guys going to shut me down?” you said confused about everything. Daisy was now by your said cleaning your tears
“hey Y/N, it’s okay I actually like you too” Daisy said with a grin, you didn’t know why but those words and that grin made you blush so much. “you guys made her cry!” Daisy exclaims angrily at Fitz-Simmons while she hugs you making you feel all weird inside. Your eyes stopped dripping and that pain on your chest also stopped, and you. Maybe Daisy was the cure to all pain on you, maybe she was your vaccine
“I'm really sorry Y/N for making you feel like that, but Jemma right here wants to take away her feeling!” Fitz said defending her friend
“You won’t do that Jemma, She’s under my protection and my care, plus, I liked her too, and she doesn’t hurt anyone! she’s not Aida” Daisy said
“can someone explain to me what’s going on?” you said for the last one. Daisy started explaining to you
“You like me, and I like you” Daisy said with a smirk on her face winking at you. “you feel weird when I’m around you don’t you?” You nod shyly “especially when I’m really near you ..like this~” She took a step closer to you, you could feel her breath on your face making your heart beat faster. “you like me, and I like you, and when something like that happens people use to date”
“like Fitz and Dr. Simmons?” You ask
“yes! like them... so today I’ll take you to a date and help you with this crush okay? you’re going to feel okay in no time” Daisy said smiling at you. Fitz was trying not to hyperventilating while watching you two interact, Jemma grab his arm and tried to leave Daisy and you alone.
“ye-yeah Daisy that will help me a lot” You said, ignoring the way she makes you feel
“awesome! I’ll come to get you at 7″ she said while smirking at you and leaving the room. Fitz appear again into the room , he gave you a quick hug
“I’ll help you get ready!” Fitz exclaim enthusiastic
You may still not understand all this feeling thing, but you were sure that right now what you were feeling .. was utter happiness.
Such a long imagine, hope you like it anon!.
Also if you guys want me to do shorter imagines tell me plz, sometimes I can get too stuck into an imagine and I just can’t stop writing .

Bonds that never die (Platonic)
Daisy Johnson x sister reader but it takes place in season 4, the reader was killed earlier by ward in like season 2 or something but when daisy wakes goes into the framework and has to interrogate someone it’s her sister? Maybe somehow the reader is able to come back with her and Simmons?
Hope I did the request justice!
You and Daisy weren’t blood sisters, but that didn’t matter. Just like with Jemma, she counted you as a sister anyway. You both met at the orphanage, both latched onto each other for reassurance that the other wasn’t alone. That you could actually make it through those times.
So, as she got ready to join her surrogate sister in a computer simulation, she was more than ready to plunge headfirst in to try and find the rest of her family. However, she also wanted to be there to make sure Jemma would make it back.
She couldn’t lose another sister. Not again.
“I can’t believe Fitz made another LMD body.” Jemma said as they both got prepared to go into the Framework.
“He did?” Daisy asked her friend, wondering why her Scottish friend had done just that. Wasn’t AIDA enough?
“Yes. Well, he hadn’t fully done it, they never fully made it. But the plans were there to make another one.” Jemma admitted.
“Did he say who they were going to make?”
“No, they didn’t. But I think their plan was to maybe…. maybe try to bring someone back.” Jemma seemed to struggle with getting the words out. As if they would summon someone from their past right away.
“Well, it didn’t happen. Besides, they wouldn’t be the same anyway.” Her voice saddened a little at the thought of you, her twin.
“Oh, Daisy.” Jemma said empathetically as she brought her best friend in for a hug.
“You don’t talk about her much, now.” She said as she still held the hug.
“There’s not much to talk about, Jemma. You knew her almost as well as I did –”
“Yes, but not for as long. Daisy, she might be gone, but you don’t have to forget about her.” Daisy just nodded, wanting to move the conversation on as quickly as possible.
They were in, and Daisy was in the worst position she could possibly be in. Working at HYDRA with the one and only, Grant Ward.
Speaking of him, the two had just had an argument after interrogating one inhuman, DJ. It hadn’t gone the best, but she’d managed to reign it into not being a total cataclysmic failure. Plus, she had already found someone to bring back, May.
“There’s one more, but I’ll let you take that. We could use a moment to breathe.” Ward said, before brushing past her; seemingly getting her want to just be left alone for a while.
She was still reeling from seeing, “deceased,” next to Jemma’s name. Seeing that she may have just lost another member of her family to a simple game of chance. Her heart raced as she her mind drifted to being alone in this world, with no backup and only her wits to survive.
Her heart ached when she remembered when that would be you both; your whole mantra, “Us against the world,” It was cute, but it meant something to you both. It was a promise you had both made each other, to never leave the other.
Just made her miss you more.
She sighed, begging her mind to move onto the pressing situation of currently being alone with no backup in a hostile world filled with HYDRA agents. Training aside, she wouldn’t be able to survive being in the wolf’s den alone. She’d easily get gunned down if she made one wrong move.
She had a whole other life here, a life she didn’t know. But one that apparently had it just be her. She was going to look up your name, to try and find out what had happened to you in this reality.
But, as soon as she had apparently seen Jemma’s grizzly fate, she changed her mind on that quickly and didn’t look it up. She’d rather not know and pretend you were fine, then look and find that you were dead in this world too.
With a steading (as best as she could manage) breath, she looked at the file for the next inhuman to interrogate. For the next, “Traitor” to be scared to god knows what end and then be locked up in a room with seemingly no way of escape.
However, her eyes widened when she saw a familiar name written on the page, along with the photo.
Y/N Johnson. You, her sister was alive in this world.
More importantly, she was the person that was going to be interrogating you.
You tried not to show the fear, to mask it anyway possible; be that the steady-ish breathing, or the way you tried not to tighten your grip on the chair. It was the only way you could show some kind of resistance.
Yes, that kind of resistance, the one that was SHIELD. You had signed up a little while ago, to try and find some sense of belonging. You had gotten exactly what you were looking for.
This, however, was not it. Not tied to a chair, awaiting whoever it was that was going to tear you apart and leave you for dead, most likely.
However, you were met with a smaller woman, one a little taller than you if you had to guess. She seemed to hold herself with a bit of nervousness; maybe you could use that to your advantage.
As soon as she laid eyes on you, she seemed to freeze, mouth parting and words starting to form only for nothing to come out a few times. Finally, she gulped and placed the file down, only to then remember that she needed it.
Whenever she read it, she’d look back up at you every so often as if she couldn’t believe the words she was reading.
She cleared her throat, “Your name is Y/N Johnson, right?” She asked, your last name being dragged out more as if she was testing it out for a reason you did not know.
“Scared you got the wrong person?” There it was, your snappy comebacks; Daisy had to bite back a smile, or a laugh. Or some reaction that would give away her most ridiculous and insane plan yet.
“No, just going over the facts.” She said, having faux confidence on her back. Her voice wobbled as she spoke; maybe getting out of this would be easier than you thought.
“Maybe it’s a cover name.” You said, testing the waters.
She let out a snort, one that seemed to hold some genuine warmth to it, “Maybe it is, who’d be the wiser, right?” No, she was trying to get you to lower your guard down so she could manipulate you. To get you to join their ranks.
You’d rather die than have that happen.
“I’m not gonna hurt you.” She said, softly, as if she genuinely meant it. The next moment, the camera watching you went off.
“It’s looping some footage I had earlier, so we can actually talk now.” Oh, so what she was going to do was so much worse.
She pressed a button on her pad, the cuffs came off. She approached you and spoke in a low voice, “We’re going to get out of here, but I need you to follow my lead. alright?”
You didn’t know if you could fully trust her. But that mere act made her seem trustworthy, even if for now. As a means to an end.
You nodded.
“If it helps you trust me, I’m Daisy.”
You both had been separated a few times, different families adopting you; or rather, taking you in for a week/month/year before sending you right back. Right back, just as you had both hoped, to each other.
Your sisterly bond was unbreakable, only death could separate you.
That was when Phil Coulson had found you both in a van, living in the streets together, working for the Rising Tide. You both had cautiously joined the team and never really looked back.
It was the day you both finally found a stable (ironic, with what was to come) place and people that actually wanted you both around, wanted to be friends with you both (some more than others; but still, they weren’t hostile to you. That one mainly being May with the both of you, and Ward with you,) and seeing you as a valuable person, someone they wouldn’t give up on no matter what.
Sadly though, that voice in the back of your head that told you constantly that you were going to be left behind, that they would drop you if shit hit the fan drove you to be more reckless than your sister.
You both became agents, but you wanted in the field as soon as. With Skye’s injury, it just made you want to go out there more.
It was what had led Daisy to where she was now, about to enter a computer world to try and find her friends.
“Daisy!” A woman yelled in relief; Daisy let out her own sigh of relief as she hugged her friend, yelling out her name. Her name was Jemma.
Jemma’s eyes widened when she saw you, and she turned to Daisy with a questioning gaze. Even though you were behind them, you saw Daisy slightly nod.
“Your Y/N, right?” You nodded, cautious of the new woman. The next moment, you were enveloped in a hug. A tight one.
You looked to Daisy, who looked kind of happy (or nostalgic, as she’d put it) at seeing the interaction.
Jemma pulled away, holding you at arm’s length and smiling brightly at you with some tears in her eyes.
She couldn’t say anything, as a man approached with a gun drawn; Daisy had instantly put herself in front of you, shielding him from shooting you. You gripped Daisy’s arm in fear, she grabbed your hand in her’s, the other holding the gun.
You didn’t talk through the whole confrontation, only letting Daisy and Jemma speak for you.
“And whose she?” He spat, trying again to aim his gun at you. It was in that moment you saw who he was, you’d seen him around a few times in SHIELD; what the hell was he doing aiming a gun at you?
“Ward, WARD! Put it down, ok? She’s not a threat!” Daisy’s finger squeezed on the trigger. She didn’t want to kill this Ward, but she would if it would save you….and make up for last time.
It was after SHIELD had fallen; you were all on the run in a way. You were in the shadows, all of you. You were no-ones again. To you and Daisy, though, it was more than that. You had both lost the one place you had started to belong in. You’re badges meant nothing.
But, as Daisy had said to you, it didn’t mean you were nobody’s.
“We have them no, Y/N. But…if it does come to it, you have me, ok? We’re sisters, family. I’m not leaving your side for as long as I can help it, alright?” You smiled at her words, knowing she fully meant them.
“Love you.” Was all you could say before you got choked up.
Skye, as she went by then, happily returned your hug, “Love you too.” She said.
“Y/N, you ready?” Coulson asked, looking slightly guilty that he had interrupted your sister-bonding moment. He quickly caught onto your coining of the term ever since he asked you both to come with him to investigate the job that led him to his old protégée. You both even spoke in sync, which freaked him out.
“Ready as I’ll ever be, sir.” You replied, voice trembling a little with worry. He placed a fatherly hand on your arm, as Daisy put a hand on your shoulder. Both actions done in reassurance.
“You’ll be fine, Y/NN.” Daisy said, so sure of her words.
Words that would turn out to be false.
Ward had gotten you all out of the situation of being gunned down by HYDRA forces. Despite all the chaos, you had heard Daisy responding to Simmons’ comment about being in hell with, “How do you think I feel.” Judging by Jemma’s look back at her, and her eyes flickering to you for a moment. Those words held a double meaning to them.
Daisy had done all she could to protect you on the journey back, making sure to keep close to you as you went to the apartment.
Once you had reached it, you spoke, “Is there a – uh -- a room that I can….” Daisy looked at you, eyes softening slightly as she saw your terrified state. Despite being an agent, you weren’t numb to it all yet.
“Yeah, just through there.” Daisy said, softly like last time, pointing to the room she once shared with Ward.
Once you were gone, the two best friends turned to one another, “I have no idea how she’s here, Jemma!” She whisper-yelled in shock and disbelief. She allowed herself to finally process the fact that you were back. That you weren’t dead in a truck like you were in the real world.
“I know…I know…. I mean – It should be impossible…” Jemma started to ramble, but she too was at a loss for words at seeing one of her other female best friends alive once again. Even if it wasn’t the one, she had befriended.
“She doesn’t remember us, Jemma.” Jemma now softened at her friend’s words, knowing the affect all of this must be having on her.
“I know, but she seems to trust us a little. So, it’s a start.” Daisy couldn’t help but nod at Jemma’s words, she was right after you; you seemed to be slowly coming around to them.
You shared a nod with Jemma and Daisy as you past them with you standing between him and your sister, while Jemma was a secondary wall between the pair.
“If I see you again, I’ll kill you.” Jemma promised the man, his vision was then blacked out by a bag as you continued to lead him to the van that would then transport him away to his brother.
After a while of tagging along with Daisy (at her own insistence) it led you all to the TV station. You would broadcast a message to the world about the evil HYDRA had done; every sin they had committed and every lie that had spun about them being the victors and SHIELD being the villains of the tale they told.
You had managed to get in, and were about to broadcast the message, when Ward had entered the room to have a private talk with Daisy.
“Go on, I’ll be ok.” Daisy assured you with a light pat on the arm. You looked between the two, having the vague notion that you weren’t needed for this conversation. So, you gave them both an awkward smile and then departed.
“Everything ok?” Jemma asked as she saw you waiting with your arms folded outside the room.
“Got booted out of there for the love birds to have their moment. Didn’t know he’d ever really give it a shot.” Jemma chuckled a little at your words; you even let out your own, letting your guard down more with her and Daisy more than you really had with anyone in your life. There was just something about them that made you trust them more.
“Well, he’s not so bad. Besides, if Daisy wants something, she goes for it.” You nodded, having gathered that from your time with Daisy. How she’d always look out for those she called friends, probably defend them to her last breath; but, if she had a goal, nothing could stand in her way.
“What’s the deal with her, anyway?” Jemma looked at you, silently asking for you to continue, “She seems…off with me. Did I do something?” You asked, your insecurities getting the better of you. If it were anyone else, you’d hate being this vulnerable with them. But, as said, you felt like you could genuinely trust the pair.
“It’s not you, trust me.” She assured you.
“Then what is –” You stopped your question and frustration when you heard raised voices from the room. Despite Jemma calling out your name, you approached the open door.
“I can’t just leave Y/N here, alone!” Daisy said in her own frustration.
“And why not? What am I going to do, huh?” Ward challenged, despite their calm conversation before, bringing you up had set something off in her.
“Because –” She caught herself, but Ward pressed.
“What?” He softened his voice in horror as he realised, “Did I…do something to her.”
Daisy couldn’t help the tears in her eyes as, in a broken voice, she told him, “You killed her, Ward.”
“I’m dead…?” Daisy looked over Wards shoulder, the man spinning around quickly to see you looking between them in shock and betrayal.
“Y/N…” Daisy had no idea on what to say, how to comfort you or to explain all of it to you. But she seemed like she was going to anyway. Ward even opened his mouth to try as well.
You looked at ward in betrayal, “You…you knew?” He lowered his head in shame. You then looked at Jemma, who had a look of pity and guilt, “You – you all did?” You looked at the three; their silence confirming the answer to you.
He was quick, quicker than you had ever expected really. Unlike May or Skye, he was going for the kill. He went through everyone quickly, before it came to you.
He looked at you as he debated it, he had genuinely seen you as a friend like most of the others on the team. But, in this moment, you were on opposite sides of the playing field. Right now, it was even; and, depending on your next move, it would either tip in their favour, or stay even.
“Y/N just stay down. I don’t wanna hurt you.” He said, genuine emotion behind his words.
“You already have Ward. You screwed over my sister! And you expect me to, what? Let you go.” He saw that same fire he saw in Skye. If he did not know any better, he would’ve sworn you were blood and not sister’s by only bond.
“Y/N –” Your next actions cut him off.
“See you in hell, Ward.” You seemed almost resigned to your fate.
You went for his gun, but you only saw black the next moment.
You sat on one of the three beds, just sat there with your hands together and your head laying on them as you still tried to process everything: you were dead in another world, and you were related to Daisy (whose last name you found out was also Johnson).
“Been looking for you,” Coulson said as he took a seat next to you, “How are you holding up?” He asked, nudging you slightly.
“Like you give a shit, Coulson.” You spat, but not in a hating tone; it was tired, but soft one you spoke in. Now he was seeing the resemblance between you both.
“Look…I uh – I was just a teacher a few days ago. Now, I’m on the front lines, fighting in an apparently fake world –”
“This one’s fake? Even better.” Coulson sighed, Daisy had warned him about how you were stubborn and did hold a grudge, and hated being lied to, just like her.
“I know it’s hard to take in. Trust me, I’m still getting around to it –”
“Yeah? Well, you aren’t the one that’s fucking dead over there!” You seethed, now your anger was showing as you rose from your bed; Coulson gently grabbed your arm and pulled you to a more secure place to talk freely about all this.
“You’re right, you’re right,” He admitted, even raising his hands up to prove his point, “I can’t attest to how that must be to learn. But I have died over there. Now, I know you weren’t as lucky as I was; but I know that Daisy, me, Jemma and the others loved you over there like you were one of our own.”
“So, what? Was I like the black sheep or something?” Coulson sighed, knowing that he had worded it wrong.
“All you and Daisy had ever wanted was a family, you found that in both each other as sisters, and in us. I might not remember a lot, if anything. But I can easily tell how much Daisy cares about you. Far as I can tell, blood means nothing to her.” Coulson rephrased his words, hoping it would help his case to get you back with the gang in getting out of this place that would soon be nothing.
“She tell you all that?” You asked through clenched teeth, despite how something in you was slightly moved by the idea of having a family finally. It didn’t seem to matter anymore, as you were dead. So, even if you did get out, you would only see darkness.
“She caught me up to speed on it all, sure. But the care Simmons and Daisy both show for you. If I didn’t know you, and saw how far they’d go for you, I’d say you were all adopted sisters that got along like a jigsaw puzzle.”
You frowned a little at his metaphor, “Ok, not my greatest one liner, but you get what I mean?” He asked, hoping you’d answer positively.
“Good luck.” You genuinely meant your words to him; after that, you past him and went to the armoury to help anyone in any way you could.
Daisy, meanwhile, sat on her own bed in the exact same pose as you were in just moments ago. However, she held tears in her eyes as she finally let the memories in, she let herself go back to that day you died. To the day Ward took their sister or daughter away from her and others.
“Ward got out.” Was the first thing Coulson said when everyone had assembled in the room. Skye felt her pulse raise at the news, he was out of the cage and they had no methods of finding him. They had no idea where he was, but they had a good idea of what he was going to do.
Then, it clicked for Skye, “Wait…where’s Y/N?” She asked, tone not as secure as she would’ve like it to be. But her question still got across.
Coulson’s silence didn’t help her anxiety over her question, she looked to the others for some hope; but they had the same looks on their faces, “Coulson…where – where is my sister?” Her voice shook more. She looked to the door, as if you’d walk in the next moment, maybe a little bruised, but nothing else other than that.
You’d be alive, that was all that mattered to her.
Coulson’s eyes turned to pity, and she knew. She knew what the look meant; she knew what it conveyed.
She knew what had happened to you.
“No,” It was chocked at first, “No, No, no, no, no, no,” Then it was rushed, “NO!” Then it was loud and raw, “No…” Then it was soft and drifted off at the end; it was resolute; and it was filled with pain, rage, sadness, hate, pity, grief. All of those emotions locked into the final, “No.” that left her mouth before the sobs overtook her speech.
The other members of her family, the alive ones, had no choice to watch as Daisy rejected any comfort, she just cried through the pain. Or, tried to cry through the pain. She knew it would never fully go away. No matter what she did, no matter how hard she’d try to make it so. Losing someone stuck with you.
She felt a hand on her arm, she looked up to see Jemma above her. Daisy tried to smile, but it held no happiness to it; Jemma’s own one reflected it.
They were best friends with both of you before your death, but the aftermath brought them closer. Despite their fallings out at times, they were family; and family always came back together, as it was love and the strength of the bond that brought them back; not necessity.
Out of everyone on the team, they were closest, so maybe that was why their sisterhood became stronger after your demise.
“I found her.” Was all Jemma needed to say for Daisy to take the hand offered and for her to stand.
“Do you want –”
“No, I’ll be fine.” She assured her friend as she wiped her last tear, before going to find you.
You were checking the arsenal; although, Daisy was sure that you had already done that, you were just wasting time now.
She didn’t blame you for it, either.
“You just gonna stand there, or we gonna talk?” She let out a little smile at your words, she tentatively approached you, leaning against the entrance.
“…I need your help.” She said, quietly; but you heard it, and you stopped and fully turned to her, mimicking her pose against the table that held a map on it.
“Getting out of here?” She nodded, looking at the ground for a moment before meeting our eyes again.
“Yup.” There was no pop of the, “p”, just silence that followed her honest answer.
You sighed, “How am I here? Why am I here?”
Daisy almost smiled again, she remembered when you first asked that question in her van.
“Was this when I was alive?” Your words hurt, but she still nodded. She must’ve said that part out loud.
“AIDA wanted to fix someone’s mistake –”
“And I was yours?”
“One of them…. I don’t know why she brought you into this. But, if it means anything, I’m glad I get the chance to see you again.”
“I’ll help you.” She was shocked at how you managed to put your anger aside and let yourself help her one more time.
She nodded, thankful, “Can I ask why?”
“The rest of your family still need you, and you care about them too.”
Daisy smiled, the old you were still in there, alright.
It was an old factory, and the lava was the key out. Because, well, of course it was. Mack had his reservations, but that man was alive in that world. You could tell that Daisy looked up to him as a big brother. So, you knew he was on the list of people to get out.
HYDRA guards swarmed the area, you went back to flank them from behind, while Daisy used her power to open the portal out. As soon as she did, a shockwave went through the area, showing the whole thing as a façade; and you as noting more than a pile of ones and zeros.
With you distracted, you didn’t have time to remember about HYDRA, as a bullet soon found its way into your shoulder. With everyone else distracted, no one sure you drop on the metal floor as you clutched your shoulder.
Your ears started to ring as you slowly started to bleed out. In one way, you found it kind of humorous, you’d die again in this world. At least, this time, it was for something.
“Daisy!” You heard Mack call out as he ran to you and put pressure on your wound.
You blacked out for a second, the next time you opened your eyes, Mack was gone, and Daisy was hovering over you with pure concern and tears in her eyes once again.
“Hey, hey, hey. No, no, no, no. Don’t close your eyes, Y/N! You have to –” You blacked out again as her words drifted off.
“Come on, almost there.” She grunted out as she struggled to fully shoulder your weight and get you to the portal.
“Just leave me, I’m dead weight anyway.” Your words slurred; she didn’t have time to admonish you for your crude joke.
“I’m not leaving you here…I’m not losing you again!” She was determined to get you out.
“I already am.” You were ready to admit defeat. Which was when she had an idea.
“But you don’t have to be.” You didn’t know what she meant by it, but you grabbed the railing for support as you fully opened your eyes as best you could.
“Do you trust me?” Your sister asked you, hand still on your shoulder for support.
“As far as I can throw you.” You said with what was meant to be a smile, before you pushed her. Thankfully, her hand with her power stayed where it was; however, her other hand grabbed your own and dragged you down with her.
AIDA was gone, and they didn’t have much time. But they had all made it back. That was when Daisy turned to Fitzsimmons, “I have a huge favour to ask you both.” They nodded, wanting to help her in whatever her idea was.
“I think we can bring Y/N back with your LMD idea, Fitz.” The Scotsman instantly went to decline, but Daisy stopped her brother by putting her hands on his shoulder and meeting his eyes.
“I know you blame yourself; but, as I said, you have nothing to apologise for. I just – if this can work…. Please, Fitz.” She was desperate to at least try this idea. To try this plan. If she thought her plan to get you out was insane, this topped that by a mile.
“Do you need anything else?” She asked her siblings as they worked on brining you back. So far, they had taken blood from Daisy, along with a machine Fitz had that took some memories of hers of you and what you had missed in order to help you remember everything.
“Remember, it might take a while to –” She slammed the button as soon as your body came into existence.
It took a moment; a long moment, before your eyes opened. You looked around the room, trying to figure out where you were, before you met the eyes of Daisy.
“Daisy…” You breathed out, and instantly hugged her. You let out a laugh as you did so, relishing in seeing her again.
Daisy hugged you back just as tight, just happy to have you back in her life once again. Even if you weren’t fully you, it didn’t matter to her.
Her sister was back; her first sister was home. She could be whole again.

I want to start writing fan fiction but I just don't know where to start. Any help?
How To Fanfiction
Sure, I’m happy to help! I’ve got 3 major pieces or ‘categories,’ I guess, of advice (for now at least). I only put the first one above the cut bc it’s the most direct answer to your question, but there are two other additions below it that I think might help a beginning author even though they’re not as directly related.
The answer is structured as follows:
What if?
The Process
Posting & Protection
I hope it helps! Feel free to ask for more detail, follow-ups etc.
1. What if?
I find that all fanfiction (and tbh, all fiction) can be boiled down to ‘what if’? What if there was a wizarding world hidden from our eyes? What if time travel were possible? etc. But that also opens up a huge big world of possibilities, even where you have source material to work from (ie in fanfiction). In terms of actually looking at a blank page and going “where do I start?” I find it’s easier to start specific, at least until you get into the swing of things.
What does this mean? Well, I’d suggest either a) something you disagreed with or thought could have been done better and/or b) a possibility you’d like to explore. Again, it is often best as a beginner to be specific.
For example, the first fanfic I ever wrote, was based on the idea “what if the showdown at the end of Breaking Dawn (yes the twilight one) actually transpired in a physical fight?” It was super melodramatic but very satisfying. Some AOS fanfics I’ve written are based off ideas such as “what if Fitz did actually die in the end of S1?” and more recently, “what if LMD-Fitz is anti-Inhumanist” and “what if Daisy was pregnant at the end of S3?”
Other ideas that could be interesting but are also specific include:
what if Fitz or Simmons actually had been Hydra in S1?
what if Bobbi hadn’t been there to extract Simmons in S2?
what if a different person/people had or had not been LMDs in 4x15?
what if May suffers brain trauma or amnesia from the Framework?
Some less specific hypotheticals include:
what if one/some of the characters were not straight?
what if one/some of the characters did not exist?
what if they were in (x) universe? - picking out courses of study, jobs, and events that parallel canon but aren’t necessarily the same is a load of fun!
what if one/some of the characters did not die?
Pick a hypothetical that is interesting to you and see what you can do with it.
2. The Process
Fortunately with fanfiction, almost anything goes. Of course, people have their own ideas about things that aren’t okay, from ships to behaviours to the politics of representation, and while it’s wise to be conscious of these things, they will probably bleed into your writing anyway. You will for example have things that you will feel uncomfortable writing, or things you feel like you couldn’t capture properly. Different people will like or not like your work. That’s okay. You can’t please everybody and fanfic is critically underreviewed, so it might feel like you’re shouting into the void even if you’re not.
Take risks. Again, be aware of The Problematic, but try not to let it sanitise your writing too much. Also, don’t be afraid to be super melodramatic, ridiculously angsty or pathetically cheesy. People don’t often read fanfic to experience real life or canon. They want to be sated, whether that’s by drowning in their fan-tears or squealing with happiness. Bring it on!!
I would say however: please for the love of all that is holy, spelling and grammar are important, including punctuation and the biggest of all beginner fanfic writer crimes PARAGRAPH BREAKS. If you need to seek out a beta to check these things, please please do because shoddy grammar makes for a painful and less immersive reading experience, and may even result in readers abandoning your story a few lines in, even if it’s otherwise good. Also, consistent characterisation is somewhat important to me, but that tends to come the more you write as you find your voice for a particular character.
3. Posting & Protection
Post your work on tumblr, but also on an external site like AO3 if you can. This gives your work a wider reach, as well as giving readers somewhere else to go that won’t change if you change your tumblr url, and that might be easier to try to read on than some tumblr themes.
Tag well. You want to be tagging the main characters and/or ships, and maybe the fandom (especially if your blog is very multi). Also try to tag triggers etc which makes for a more reader-friendly experience. If you are in a network, tag that too - these can be great places to share your work in a positive community. Some AOS-based networks include @thefitzsimmonsnetwork @buskidsnetwork @thehuntingbirdnetwork @yoyomacknet and @quakeridernet.
And finally, one thing that took me quite a while to learn: don’t be afraid to block people, delete comments, or only allow moderated comments to appear on your work. You are creating for free, out of love. You don’t have to fight people for that space. I’ve fortunately had very few experiences with flaming (unreasonably negative & harassing commenting) but I have found that moderating comments, blocking, and turning off anon for short periods of time have saved a lot of hassle. Look after yourself as a person and as a writer. (Although this isn’t intended to scare you; most people are very flattering, enthusiastic and kind. It’s just something to be wary of.)

Can you do a part II for the LMD x Daisy, Fitz helps the reader with the date and explains how to properly act. Of course the LMD still manages to mess up social cues and emotions but Daisy helps them.
Done! Hope you like it
