The fluorescent lights flickered in the dimly lit room as Terry counted stacks of cash at a table in the restaurant's back room. his mind wandering to the tiny life that Depended on him Just hours ago, he held his newborn son Terry Jr, for the first time. His heart was heavy with love he never knew could exist. But , now back in reality that seemed like a distant dream. He shrug his shoulders and reached up to stretch.

The door Burst open and Demetrius strode in, his presence commanding the room,. Terry looked up, expecting one of his crew to be barking orders for something new. But instead found himself staring down the barrel of a gun.

“What the fuck, Meech?!” Terry froze in place his words demanded an answer. His voice was steady despite the fear coursing through his veins. “ You trying to rob your own brother, Nigga?”

Meech laughed, a cold, mirthless sound. Rob you? Nah, lil bro. I’m just making sure you remember who’s in charge here.”

Before Terry could respond. A loud crash echoed from the entryway of the kitchen, Meech’s head snapped toward the door, his fingers tightening on the trigger.

A moment later, a figure stumbled in the room, clutching a bleeding wound. Your usually vibrant eyes wide with pain and fear.

Terry’s heart stopped. The woman he had grown to care for, the one who had shown him a different path, was now caught in the crossfire of his brother’s madness.

“Meech, what have you done?” Terry whispered, his voice barely audible over the ringing in his ears.

Meech just grinned, a twisted expression that sent chills down Terry’s spine. “ Business, lil bro. Nothin ever personal , My Nigga. You know how that shit go.

As you collapsed to the floor, Terry Realized that he was no longer just fighting his own life, but for the lives of those he loved. And in that moment, he knew he had to find a way out. No matter the cost.

The room spun around Terry as he rushed to your side, his hands trembling as he tried to stem the bleeding from your wound. “ Fuck, Fuck, … No” He pleaded with God under his breath, patting you and holding you to his chest. “Stay with me.”

“You’ve gone too far this time, Meech” Terry Growled his voice low and dangerous. “ She Doesn’t deserve this shit.” Angry tears welling in his eyes as they threatened to fall against your skin.

Meech sneered spittle flying from his lips. “Deserve?! Nobody deserves shit in this life. You think the world owes us somethin’, little brother?

Meech kept the gun trained on you. His finger twitching on the trigger. Your hair plastered to your face your shallowed breath making the strands move. The blood tinged ends once a deep honey blonde now dripping.

“We take what we want, we take what we need, That’s the only way to survive in this game.” Meech continues his voice loud and deepening with passion.

Terry looked at the sight of you. His mind raced, trying to find a way out of this nightmare. He couldn’t, No wouldn't’ lose you. Not after everything you both had been through together. Not when he finally had a reason to fight for something other than survival.

In one swift motion Terry lunged at Meech, Knocking the gun from his hand. The two brothers grappled on the floor, fists flying, grunts and curses in the air.

As they struggled, You managed to crawl toward the back door, your strength was fading with every movement. Reaching out, your fingers brushing against the handle. “Dammit…’ before collapsing once more.

Terry felt a surge of adrenaline as he landed a solid punch to Meech’s jaw sending him reeling. He scrambled to his feet, grabbing the fallen gun and pointing it to the back of his brother’s head.

“It’s over, Meech,” He said shaking with emotion. “You’re Done, I won’t let you hurt none else I care about.”

Meech Laughed blood trickling from his split lip. “Care About? You’re so weak lil nigga! Yo’ ass will never be anything more than a Pawn in this game.”

Terry hesitated, the gun wavering in his hand unable to get a good grip. He knew Meech didn't mean it but something told him he may be right, in a way. The life of crime had shaped him, He’d followed in his big brothers footsteps, and molded him into the man he was today. Could he really walk away from everything he knew?

“I -I- Can’t do this no more Meech. I’m Sorry, “ Terry whispered, tears streaming down his face behind gold rimmed carrera sunglasses.

Pointing the gun at Meech. He took a deep breath.

“Do it Mothafucka!”

•Maybe it was because she liked spreading medical knowledge to the one she loves, or it could be she loves spending time with you, it was likely they it was both

•The workers and other servants are very glad that you did this to btw, after all it's thanks to you being there that Nightingale has actually calmed down. If only just a little, and you can actually help pull her back from the extremes when it comes to her wanting to amputate limbs in response to injuries that don't require it

•You also benefit since when everything is calm and there aren't things that need to get done, you finally get to have private time with your beautiful girlfriend

•When it comes to being Da vinci's assistant, let's just say your pretty in charge of making sure she doesn't do to much

•I think a lot people forget that Da vinci is different from most heroic spirits in that she has an actual living body that being one of a homunculus

•Meaning she's in danger of actually overworking herself, doesn't help that she's also the type to forget that herself when she's on a role

•So you gotta make sure she actually does get rest and actually freaking eats and drinks when needed, which is less so than actual human but still

•You've also been automatically in charge of making sure she actually baths, usually age has a type of alarm for as that But after finding out she actually listens to you more than the alarm she just relegated that job to you

•And yes lucky you, you actually get to bathe the gorgeous genius body that the Genius Da vinci has graced the world's presence with.

•Now when it comes actual work, you actually find yourself learning a crap ton of new things regarding magecraft and inventing which is actually a shock to both you and Da vinci

•which leads to you getting even more work on your plate cause now she wants to actually pass knowledge onto you that she thinks you'll find useful

•Just let her indulge in you, she's never really had the opportunity to interact with someone who was even a fraction As smart as her bad the fact that you may be a budding genius has her hyped

•So get ready cause now you're not just her wonderful assistant and boyfriend you're also now her apprentice
