No one can make me hate Wanda. She went through too much and didn’t deserve any of it. She did so much good but died a villain. She went through hell to bring Billy back and he doesn’t even care that she’s dead. She deserved so much better.

hey, I don't know if you've been asked about this, I apologize if you have, but I was wondering about the whole "dreams are just things that happen to alternate versions of you" in MOM. Is it like that in the comics, and doesn't that erase nightmare a little bit? I mean they could pull "oh dreams and nightmares are different" but right after america tells them that wong is like "that NIGHTMARE of me running from a clown" and she's like "that happened somewhere in the multiverse."

Honestly? The concept feels very wrong to me, and you're absolutely right to assume that it undermines Nightmare. One thing ATSV has done it right is offer the many possibilities of alternate versions. In that scenario, you can 100% assume there's a world where Wong is fighting clowns (comic-wise, Stephen has done it, and it WAS because of Nightmare).

Heck, you can even imagine a world where everyone IS a clown, why not? We got Lego-verse, plushie-verse, car-verse, you can have it all.

But mostly, Nightmare is an important entity that was born along with humanity's dreams. I can't say for sure, but maaaaaybe (and it's a huge maybe) this idea came from the 616 Spider-verse event, in which Miguel starts feeling that his alt versions are being killed.

Anyway, MoM WISHES it could be a good introduction to the multiverse but it failed on so many levels, I just can't. And to think that Nightmare was meant to be adapted not once but twice (if you count del Toro and Gaiman's idea, as well as Scott's...)
