नई दिल्ली। शनिवार को तमिल नाडु में एक कुमारी ने की आत्महत्या। वह एक चिकित्सा आकांक्षी थी। उसने एक सुसाइड नोट में यह लिखा कि, ‘आए ऍम सॉरी,आए ट्राइड।’ उसे NEET की परीक्षा में फेल होने का डर था।

पुलिस ने कहा, पीड़िता, जोतिस्री ��ुर्गा के रूप में पहचानी गई, उसे अपने निवास पर फांसी पर लटका हुआ पाया गया था और उसके द्वारा छोड़ा गया एक सुसाइड नोट जिसमें कहा गया कि, वह ‘आशंकित’ थी, हालांकि बाकी सबको उससे बहुत ‘उम्मीद’ थी। राज्य के अरियालुर में एक अन्य मेडिकल आकांक्षी के कथित रूप से आत्महत्या करने के कुछ दिनों बाद हुई मौत ने NEET के विरोध में तमिलनाडु के राजनीतिक दलों की तीखी प्रतिक्रियाएं व्यक्त कीं, यहां तक ​​कि सत्तारूढ़ अन्नाद्रमुक के उपमुख्यमंत्री ओ पन्नीरसेल्वम ने भी इस घटना पर दुख व्यक्त किया।
