My contribution to the Detective Conan Fanzine, which was released today! I was assigned Movie 1/The Time-Bombed Skyscraper. Check out the project and all its participants on their twitter and download the full .pdf for free on their itch.io!

If I'm being honest I was a liiiiittle bummed I didn't get a different movie (having made a piece for M1 for a different Detco fanzine already LMAO) but this gave me the opportunity to approach it from a different angle than the first time around. I would say it was a bigger challenge than expected and I cycled through a few ideas before settling on another movie poster, albeit of a different style than film noir.

Please check out the final work if you're interested! As far as I know the zine wasn't advertised here at all, but everyone did such a fantastic job, and the pool of work included in the final product is well worth your time <3

Still not dead! Earlier this year I had the opportunity to join a dcmk zine solely dedicated to the dcmk movies, which I all ADORE, so I was super happy to be a part of this! I was assigned movie 16 and I hope this art does this amazing movie justice, it'S one of my faves! :')

This is a not-for-profit HeiShin anthology project, focusing on the relationship between Hattori Heiji and Kudo Shinichi from Detective Conan. Friendship, romance, canon, AUs, anything goes as long as it's about the Great Detectives of the East and West.

Per our schedule we have reached the free release period, and are now releasing the PDF version for everyone!

I wanted to do her fancy kimono and make it look like she was backlit at a festival. Fun fact: This is the last art I did before my hand surgery. My surgery was before the deadline, so I was rushing right up till the night of surgery to get it done.

The whole zine is officially out now, and you know you wanna download it... you know you wanna enjoy this super cool collaborative effort of over 100 artists!!

I was playing with mock collages earlier this year because I wanted to do something similar for my page, but I wound up deviating from even that because of course that would happen LMAO
