I'm not gonna get into the details or the lore of the holiday food traditions in my household. But I love my blorbo and I project myself into him every chance I get. So I say the following with great confidence.

The closest to a traditional thanksgiving dinner you're gonna find in the Munson household is either gonna come from some Hungry Man dinner, or it's going to be:

A turkey hot dog in a bun made of biscuit dough, topped with gravy, cranberry sauce, mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, and a shreddy brussels sprout slaw all on top.

And it's delicious.

so apparently a first year electrical apprentice in queensland makes about 11k more per year than a fourth year electrical apprentice in south australia. huh. inch resting.

#literally all signs seem to be pointing toward moving back to queensland as the better option for me #better for my health better for my finances better for pretty much everything #trouble is i can't bloody afford to move and won't be able to for at least a year probably #assuming i can even get an apprenticeship up there #so i've just gotta wait and save up and try to convince myself i'm not wasting a whole damn year of my life on a flight of fancy #if i can pull this off i'll be living on the gravy boat making more than twice what i am at the supermarket #i just have to hope i can get the job #and wait. and wait. and wait.

It also makes me wonder why Atticus is even taken in this episode, like if there's another motive beyond just luring out Alexis to get her key. Because you don't have to go all the way to kidnapping Atticus to do that, just threatening him alone would be enough for that, so I just wonder if there was another motive for taking him too since he doesn't have a key like Alexis and Chazz do which is why they're targeted. I've expanded on this in my GX rewrites if you've seen that like 3 year old post at this point, but I'm just curious y’know?

This one I've definitely thought about a lot more hehe

Era was raised off of being able to request any food at any time of day from the workers at his home, and the first time he tries COOKING something he nearly burns down the Inn he'd been staying at. He's not bad at making the food or flavouring it, but when it comes to using heat he's just a lost cause

Cyrus can cook very well but doesn't have much need to make fancy stuff. He just makes things that are healthy and will fill him up without tasting bad. He isn't much good with flavouring things, but really enjoys finding new ways to cook things. If his world had YouTube, that one video of "how to cook eggs 100 different ways" would be his FAVOURITE thing. Elves are generally vegetarian, and though he's only a halfling he was raised among elves and shares their disdain for eating animals bodies. He specifically has a thing against gravy and thinks it's barbaric.
