thought of how renet would work in rise and i came up with lita as a time mistress apprentice and renet's her mentor and then i wanted to draw lita lol
i gave up on the weapon design OTL i don't know what i was doing

some thoughts and rambles about her under cut
the time powers allow her to hop between different times and places, but not within the same place like leo
time welders can't visit the same time and place twice so if they mess up it's a whole headache to not create paradoxes (lot of weird catch-22s) while non time welders think in 3 dimensions, time welder apprentices can think in 4 dimensions (space; leo actually is of the same level as Lita and is basically self taught) and masters can think in 5 dimensions (time; mikey has the potential of this level without thinking in 4D)
Lita has started a very important test to graduate to the next stage in her apprenticeship (she's basically a freshman on her way to sophomore so no where near master yet) but she lost her test instructions that was on one sheet of paper when she stepped into the boys time (cursed with bad luck)
she's a shy anxious bean about mikey's height and suffers from catastrophizing everything around her and if she goes back at any point before finishing her test, it's an auto fail and she would have to restart the whole beginner course which she really doesn't want to do (she's convinced herself that she'll be kicked out of her apprenticeship)
so now she's stuck in the boy's time trying to figure out what her test was and pass without instructions
also lita is the boy's descendent but the running joke is no one knows of who cause time welders scramble their DNA a bit so if they leave their blood somewhere it can't be traced or connected to anyone
#tmnt#teenage mutant ninja turtles#rottmnt#my art#rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles#rise of the turtles#rise of the tmnt#tmnt lita#i tried to give the mask tail the feel of a high pony tail#i'm a fan of the cute innocent looking character holding a big scary looking weapon#choose a scythe as both her weapon and time staff cause it's like her “cutting” through time and space like leo does with portals#i wanted the blades of the scythe to be floating and shifting and held together with time magic/tech#renet's not supposed to interfere with lita's test but she eventually breaks the rules to check her cause lita's been gone for too long#and that's how the boys meet renet#and how it opens the story up for more dimension traveling shenanigans#.....did i just make an oc??? whoops

i think my favorite new bit of lore from the dlc is that malenia apparently forgot that she's supposed to speak with psuedo-archaic english
guess radahn wasn't the only one whose brain was rotted in the battle of aeonia
#elden ring#shadow of the erdtree#malenia blade of miquella#anyway this is especially funny given how they switched miquella from using thou (cut base game content) to you (dlc)#and yes in actuality thou (singular/informal) and you (plural/formal) were used in conjunction. however fromsoft like many others#tends to use it primarily for the aesthetic--they don't often follow the historical rules of use for thou/you#which is how we get marika saying “thyselves” to her kids despite thou being singular 👍
