a/n : it’s been so long since I’ve been on tumblr, I’m forgetting how everything works.

synopsis : spencer has a secret girlfriend, that the others don’t know about, until she shows up at their door.

“WHEELS UP in 30.”

Hearing the familiar phrase that indicates their leave, Spencer gets up from the round table and lets out a sigh, making his way over to his desk.

Emily, Morgan and JJ follow after, and smile in amusement at their residential genius. “What’s wrong, pretty boy?”

“Nothing. Why?”

Spencer furrows his brows as the three members surround his desk curiously, while JJ shrugs. “We just noticed you’ve been a bit different lately.”

“What do you mean?”

Emily smirks as she leans against the edge of his desk and tilts her head. “Well, let’s see. First, it’s the inconsistent timing of your arrival into the office.” She begins, and Spencer clears his throat. “There’s been construction on my road lately, guess it’s hard to make it here on time.” He defends and Derek chuckles.

“Okay, then what about your constant texting and smiling at your phone all the time?” Derek grins, bringing his coffee to his lips as Spencer huffs. “I’ve been looking into facilities appropriate for my mom and found some really nice ones recently.”

Unconvinced, JJ then adds, “you’ve been in such a rush to get back to your desk and phone, and in a rush to get off the plane first thing when we come back from a case, first one to head home,” she continues and Spencer stammers at her words. “I’m just really excited to get back into my apartment is all.”

“Look, all we’re saying is, it seems you have a little pep in your step~” Derek gives a little shoulder dance as Emily and JJ giggle. “Come on, Spence, we’re just teasing. But based on all of that, I’d say you have a little girlfriend as of late. When can we meet her?”

“Profiling me, I see..” Spencer mumbles as he leans down in his chair, making the three smile while Derek ruffles his hair. “Hey, we’re happy for you anyways. Proud of you, kid.” Derek smirks as Emily laughs, getting up from Spencer’s desk and looks to the door instinctively.

“Oh? Who’s that?”

The laughter ceases as the four agents look to the door, seeing a young woman, holding a cup of coffee in her hands, and talking with Anderson.

Spencer’s eyes widen when he sees her and a smile unknowingly forms on his lips as he quickly gets up.

“Excuse me, do you know where I can find Dr. Reid?” You ask softly and Anderson smiles kindly and turns over to the bullpen just as Spencer starts walking over.

“Oh- he’s on his way.” Anderson chuckles and you smile gratefully, nodding. “Thank you.”

Anderson nods in return and walks away, just as Spencer wraps his arms around you tightly, giving you a quick spin out of excitement.

Unable to contain the giggle that escapes your voice, you carefully hold the cup. “Careful, baby, I’m gonna spill-“ Spencer brightens his smile as he sets you down and looks at your hands. “You didn’t-“

“Yep!~” You cheerily hand over the cup and wink playfully at him. “The usual, just how you like it. I figured you could use it.”

Accepting the drink with gratitude, Spencer presses a kiss to your forehead. “Thank you so much, darling.”

“Of course, honey.” Your soft voice reaches his ears as his heart warms as much as his hands does when he holds the coffee.

“So, looks like we were right.”

Spencer offers a weaker, sheepish smile towards his coworkers as you spin around to see the owner of the voice, meeting three new people in front of you.

“Oh- hi. I’m sorry for interrupting, I just wanted to drop off Spencer’s coffee.” You explain and Emily shakes her head. “It’s no problem. We’re happy to meet the person who’s been making our resident genius so happy~” she teases, making you smile in embarrassment.

“I’m Derek, this is JJ and Emily.” Derek introduces kindly, extending his hand out and you shake it firmly, smiling confidently as you shake the women’s hands.

“Nice to meet you. I’m [Name].”

Spencer presses a gentle hand to your back and smiles warmly. “Guys, this is my girlfriend.” His eyes seem to brighten the more he stares at you, and the others make sure to notice how loved he looks.

“How long have you two been together?” JJ grins, happy to see her best friend so in love.

“About a few months so far.. we’ve met and known each other for a while though.” You answer, taking a glance at your watch. “Speaking of time, I have to get going to the office.”

“Oh, where do you work?” Emily hums and you turn to her. “I’m a pediatrician. I work at the local clinic for adolescents.” You then turn to Spencer and press a quick kiss to his lips.

“Good luck on the case, I’ll text you when I get to work.” You turn the other three and wave kindly. “Nice to meet you all again!”

Your eyes then meet with two other men by a railing in the farther side of the room and you nod in acknowledgment, offering a small smile. “I’ll see you later!”

Spencer waves goodbye and watches as you walk back to the elevator before his eyes drift to his coffee.

Derek places a hand on his shoulder and grins. “My man.”

“She’s pretty, and works with kids.” JJ whistles and Emily laughs. “We should set up a proper meeting with her and the rest of the team soon.”

Spencer only smiles warmly and looks in the direction of the elevator. “Yeah..”

a/n: Spencer would totally call you “darling, sweetheart” and all these domestic terms and I’m here for it. I love him.

Spencer holds Y/N's hand as they walk up to the fence of the baseball field where the teams are warming up.

"Oh, get out of here." Derek says when he notices them. Spencer waves. "Hey, pretty boy." He runs over.

"Uncle Derek!" Y/N grins.

"Hey, baby genius." Derek waves at her.

"Hey." Spencer says.

"You made it." Derek says. "I like that. You bring your glove."

"Glove? I don't own shorts." Spencer says.

"Okay, don't even worry about it, kid. I got an extra one." Derek says. "Dice's wife?" Spencer nods. "Had her baby last night. So today is your day to play second base."

"Yay! Daddy play!" Y/N grins, shaking Spencer's hand around.

"Wait, what?" Spencer immediately panics.

"Uh-huh." Derek nods.

"I can't play second base."

"Oh, yes, you can, and yeah, you're gonna. No such thing as "can't," kid." Derek says.

"Go team!" They all turn at the cheering to see the rest of the team walking up.

"Oh-- what are you guys doing here?" Spencer asks.

"Oh, we were not gonna miss this for the world." JJ states.

"Great day for it." Hotch comments.

"Awesome." Spencer mutters.

"So the secret service, huh?" Blake asks.

"Yeah, yeah. We haven't beat these chumps in five years." Derek says.

"They've got nothing to do but practice." Rossi remarks.

"And party." Penelope adds, putting a baseball cap on Spencer's head, getting cheers and exclamations from the others.

Y/N is sitting between Penelope and Henry as Derek goes up to the plate. The pitcher throws the ball and Derek hits it, everybody cheering.

Spencer goes up to the plate as the team yells out encouragements.

"Go, daddy!" He hears Y/N shout. His heart warms at her encouragement, but his nerves spike knowing she'll have to watch her dad look like a loser.

The pitcher throws the ball, but Spencer misses it.

"Strike one!"

"Strike two!"

"Strike three!"

The team yell out encouragements.

"Daddy kind of stinks." Y/N says to Penelope.

"But we love and support him anyway. He'll get it." Penelope assures.

Derek hits the ball and runs off. Spencer goes up to the plate.

"Hey, this guy can't hit! Bring it in!" One of the guys from the secret service team yell out.

"Meanie!" Y/N screams, Penelope immediately covering her mouth.

"Time out, time out!" Derek calls. "Time out!" He runs over to Spencer. Derek talks to Spencer for a couple of minutes before running back to his previous position and Spencer gets ready.

"Go, daddy!" Y/N shouts as the team yell out other encouragements.

The pitcher throws the ball, Spencer missing.

"Strike one!"

"Strike two!"

"This guy's got nothing!" A secret service guy yells.

Y/N's mouth opens to call him a meanie, but Penelope covers her mouth.

"Time and place, sweetheart." Penelope says.

The pitcher throws the ball and Spencer hits it.

The team cheer and yell at him to run. Spencer takes off, running around the field.

"Go, daddy!" Y/N yells.

Spencer collides onto home base, Derek cheering him on. He helps Spencer up, hugging him. The team cheer as the softball team lifts Spencer up.

When they get off the field, Spencer and Derek go over to the team who congratulate them.

"Daddy!" Y/N cheers, grinning and holding her arms up.

"Hey!" Spencer picks her up.

"You did geat." Y/N states.

"Thank you." Spencer says, letting out a soft laugh and he kisses her on the cheek.

Day Eleven: Spencer Reid + Humiliation

The shirts that you wore to work were always work appropriate. Nothing show off to much skin, or anyting that would make anyone stare at you for too long.

Yet the idea of breaking a few rules to see how your boyfriend would react had you pushing away the work appropraite shirts, and skirts. Instead looking for something shorter, and more revealing.

A shirt that you wore to dinner with Reid that was one of your favorite. You slipped on, and grabbed a shorter black skirt. You aren't sure where the idea for teasing Specner came from it was just there.

Maybe it was the sexy dream, or the naughty thought you had of him when you were both at work. Sure you guys haven't been together for a long time, but you just wanted to see how he would react.

You slipped into work, earlier then anyone else. Putting your things away at your desk, and getting on with paper work. Reid was normally the second to be at work after you. Hotch already having made it to work. "Hey honey." Reid whispered into your ear. The rest of the team not yet knowing that you two were dating.

I nuzzled into him, as he kissed the cusp of your ear. When you turned around to catch his eye, they were huge and staring right down at your cleavage. All on the view for anyone to see. He swallowed hard, "Y/n, is that um… this is… you look good today." Reid mouth not really working.

You winked, and "Oh thank you sweetie." Then got back to work. You could feel Reid staring at you for a little bit longer. Then he was gone, and at his desk.

Your team members came in a constant flow. JJ, Emily, Garcia, Rossi, and Derek. You caught everyone attention. JJ, Emily, and Garcia surrounding you at your desk. "You got a hot date after work?" Emily asked. You rolled your eyes, "Oh I know… she's trying to make someone jealous." JJ whispered. Your cheeks went hot with embrassement. "Lookin' good Y/n." Derek said as he passed. All three looked at me.

"Derek?" All questioned, but I could feel the heat radiating off of Reid. "We've got a case, met in the conference room in ten." The girls and I continued to talk, but the sound of heavy steps and growling from being me caught my attention.

"Reid? Is everythign alright?" I asked innocently, his jaw sharp and warning eyes. "Yup, everything is just fine." "What's up with him?Emily asked as we all watched him walk towards the conference room.

From that point on the four of you walk towards the conference room. You always sat next to Reid, but today you deciced that you would rather sit across from him. Derek was next to Reid, Rossi next to Derek, Hotch next Rossi, Hotch was next to me. JJ was on the other side of me, Garcia sat next to her, and Emily was to the other side of Reid.

I stared willingfully at Reid the entire time. Shifting myself every so often so that my breasts would bluge out of the restricting fabric catching the staring eye of Reid. And as he tried desperatly to not look at me directly. I played footies with him underneath the table.

My heels slipping off my stocking covered feet, and up his slack covered legs. The further my feets inched up his thighs the harder his face got to covering up the hot blush that hit his cheeks all at once.

The further i went up his thigh, the tighter the fabric of his slacks got. The direct eye contact was hard to keep when Reid kept looking down in his lap. His hands shifted down under the table. "Are you alright Specner?" Hotch asked from next to me. I didn't stop not even has his eyes begged me to. "Yeah he is looking at flush, are you sick?" I asked. His hand landed on my ankle squeezzing tightly.

Clearing his thoart, "Yeah I'm fine just a little hot in here is all." He muttered, Garcia was almost done anyways. "Okay, just. Y/n do you mind checking him out before we get ready to leave." "No probelm Hotch." I said sweetly. Garcia was done in a matter of moments, and stocking covered feet were back in their heels.

I waited for everyone to exist the conference room. "Are you feeling alright?" I asked sweetly, walking over to his seat. "Oh, don't even start with that shit honey. You knew exactly what you were doing. Getting me all rallied up in front of everyone else with that fucking shirt, and your sweet little movement." He said in a hushed voice.

"What are you gonna do about it baby?" You hushed back to him. "You'll have to wait for that later." He said tapping your ass as he got up and existed the conference room.

General BW!reader headcanons

— Criminal minds × spiderverse au; Black widow spider variant reader headcanons.

General BW!reader, works with any writing made with any AU branch of BW!R. This is more or less my own headcanons on mainly the general anatomical structure and powers of black widow! Reader and some jabs and mentions to the different [micro AU?] branches of BW!R (teen!BW!R, ally/Unsub spence (roommate & forensic pathologist BW!R respectively) micro au branches; AUs within the main AU lol)

Anatomy changes/powers functions/etc

- BW! Reader has a specialized fang-like system that developed a little after getting bitten by a DNA modified black widow !! Imo It's in the same vain with the vampiric fangs that extend when used! (In a way like Miguel's fangs actually, now that I think of it. They do extend outwards too when used due to the paralyzing venom the guy has lol..)

^ I'd also bargain that it wasn't an easy experience when the fangs to develop as the structure of their head changed a little to accomodate the fangs. Sore palate, lots of headaches, probably teeth structure changes as well...

- about BW!R's venom, since we're talking about BW!R being able to kill someone with a bite, the venom comes out in a more prominent form (take the female black widows who have more prominent venom for example, but sixfold that venom prominence). It's stronger, deadlier due to the modifications of the spider that bit R.

- now I believe I'd still put the slower development of the mutative gene in play with the other spider folk of my au (have the powers fully develop in the span of like month— or two or so.)

- urge to bite is more of a defensive mechanism in this case and it's probably something BW!R catches on quite quickly after the first few times. (Prey drive would probably apply as well, but have it come in when it's about the chase.); Mask is worn to prevent the biting, of course the fangs will still itch and the urge will be there but there's less likely a way that BW!R would bite when there's something obscuring the face. <- absolutely incorporating the 🕷️'s headcanon of a mask in lol. (Also distinctive ways to recognize characters etc. Makes things fun and easier to describe.)

- also also since the the teeth that have the venom gland attached to them are extendable, BW!r can extract their venom !!

^ Wholeheartedly believing that, BW!R realized that while biting they're going to have to be extremely or they run into the risk of being found (saliva traces, bite marks) and captured due to it. So they sometimes extract their venom from their own glands in the same way snake's venom is extracted (cup, thin but durable enough plastic wrap [cling wrap?] Over the cup and have the snake forcefully bite down and puncture the plastic wrap thus activating the venom glands and the snake shoots that venom into the cup.) And use a syringe to apply the venom to the victims of the BW!R.

- let's go back to the biting and instincts, now it's said and done that BW!R bites for defence and then have prey drive (that also goes hand in hand with hunting instinct), so I do think that they also get a more of an adrenaline kick out of it if the ""prey"" they're hunting is running away from them; trying to escape. (Hunting instinct, in which BW!R shamelessly bites the people they're hunting.)

- I think (Doctor) BW!R would have an easier time with discovering their powers since they are a doctor to begin with. They're more on the science side of the spectrum and are interested in documenting down things.

- but (teen) BW!R would have the same problem of discovering them at a slower pace like JS!R does.

Other things ??

- BW!R does not imo have a "no kill rule", they do not care if they kill or not. HOWEVER killing via bite is only the last resort they go to when they feel like the person they're hunting down would be better off dead due to what they have done. (Or they loose control and goes on a more primal/feral instinct that comes with the black widow gene.)

-(teen) BW!R has little to no control over biting people.

-(adult) BW!R has more control over their instincts.

- BW!R is often associated with the BAU one way or another.

-(teen) BW!R after being captured is placed in the custody of someone on the team (Hotch or Rossi most likely)

-(vigilante/doctor) BW!R is dorm roommates with Spence and Spence is an ally to the reader who works with them as a sidekick at some point. They both end up in the custody of the BAU and forcibly working with the FBI.

- unsub! Spence and (forensic pathologist) BW!reader, they're allies and unsub! Spence helps BW!R to mask the victims BW!R has killed so they cannot be traced back to them. Also Unsub! Spence who was also part of the BAU team already so that's how he was associated with them originally, later on (Forensic pathologist) BW! Reader is kind of shoved into that scene ad well.

- BW!R has a small symbol on his lower back (the hourglass of a black widow) that will light up when they apply enough strength to something because they tap into the full scale of their powers and that's the indicative of it. Just a small detail I thought about was cool. (Also I think they'd also have markings on their shoulders and arms as well.)

Relationship/ally/other things !!

- (doctor) BW! Reader & (ally) Spence are in a Queerplatonic relationship and you cannot change my mind about that. That's set on stone for me already lol.

- depending on the micro AU branch, BW!R ends up being an ally to the BAU in one way or another.

- (doctor) reader & (ally) Spence au; both are placed on the team after the team discovers that Spence is working with BW!R and betrayed the team. But they also wanted to have them close by due to orders from higher levels.

- (forensic pathologist) BW!R and Unsub!Spence both ends up with the team at some point.

- (teen) BW!R after being captured is placed in someone's custody in the team.
